This is a replacement for my older, larger Canon. I like this camera, but it is taking some getting used to (at 67 change is a little difficult for me). Zoom is fantastic, I take a lot of wildlife shots from a quarter mile or more. I'm very pleased with the results.

Needed a USB for a Canon camera that we picked up and this one did the job and was at a great price.

I have just received this camera, and it is as it says in the description, all parts included, boxed securely. Thoroughly pleased with this.

This is exactly what I was looking for! A small, easy to use camera that takes GREAT pictures! A few people expressed concern with this camera not taking good action shots but I have not found that to be true. We have two very active puppies which I have got great action photos of. Better than any camera I've ever had! I also love that it uses AA batteries which can be found anywhere that I'm traveling. This camera is absolutely perfect!!!

I've had accidents with my previous ones, not an issue with the manufacturing, but I prefer buying the same model over and over because it's so reliable and the price keeps dropping. I originally paid $500 for a new one in 2006, almost half as much two years ago and abut $100 in 2013. My favorite thing about this camera is how versatile the Manual Mode is.

This is just a perfect camera within budget. The only disadvantage is that it takes a while to save pictures. I loveeeee it

all that's missing from the original is the clip on the inside where I can put it on my camera strap...but then again, that's how I lost the original!

Diasppointed and it's my own fault - the batteries are standard batteries and not the recahrgeable ones. Had to buy an sd card aswell. I guess that's why it is the price it is.
Picture quality good - it's the niggleing things above which make me think of changing it,
I was on a 3 week holiday and had to change batteries 4 times - even 'so-called' long lasting duracell ones!!

Havng said all this - it is very easy to use despite the huge manual - it's easy to grasp and point and shoot and make vids.

This camera has almost all the features one can find in an SLR, but very portable. As a newbie who is looking to learn, I find this very useful before i can get an SLR.Pros: 1) It has a classical body and you can feel the build quality when you hold it. 2) Fast lens which is step up from a regular point and shoot. 3) The image quality is excellent and it has some cool filters as well. 4) The ability to capture in RAW format is a nice feature. 5) 1080p video capabilities. 6) Well rounded processing software comes with the package.Cons: 1) No cables provided at all. 2) No in camera memory so make sure you buy a high speed SD card with ample memory.overall,it a great camera for the price.

Great quality in a small camera. Rechargable battery has lots of power. There is a underwater housing available from camera too

Can not find fault with any aspect of this transaction, the service I received from the seller was superb. A fault was found before dispatch and I was contacted accordingly, I was offer a choice of two other models and I choose the a640 and I am very pleased with it. It is a superb little camera and allows me to take a wide variety of pictures which suit's my need's. I have never used a better compact camera EVER! I carry it all the time this is what it is capable of:[...][...][...]Results like that from something that can fit in your back pocket, what more could you ever want! :)

Item was described as being in "good" condition. It was only "fair". It was heavily used with nomenclature worn off the function buttons.
It does take good pictures however, after one figures out which buttons to use.
I will try to sell this camera at a rummage sale.

Takes great pictures and is convenient because it uses AA batteries instead of some expensive button battery like many cameras.

Misplaced my charger. Expected to pay big bucks for replacement. This is a good price and seems to work well (only used it a few times so far). Early days, but recommend.

Canon SLRs are great, so I thought their pocket cameras would be also. Fooled me once . . . there's not enough space or time to explain why you shouldn't buy this camera. It was delivered on time, which in hindsight, was really kind of unfortunate . . .

The item arrived quickly and fit perfectly, I love the string and can attach it to my camera so that I will not lose it.

This is a god product charges battery very fast. In a reasonable prices this is a very good product. Must Buy

I am loyal to Canon so it is disappointing that I cannot give this camera a better review. There may be many good features on this camera but two issues prompted me to return it. First, it seems to eat through AA batteries pretty quickly. I was only able to take about 40 pictures (most of which used the flash) before I needed to replace the batteries. Second, I had to wait nearly 12-15 seconds between shots while the screen said "charging flash". Try asking your four-year-old to stop opening a Christmas present while the camera recharges the flash. I will be returning this in favor of something else.

I love this G-15. So happy I bought it. Takes beautiful pictures, easy to use. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

A camera like this - was my first digital camera.
I gave it to my daughter - how LOVED it.
When it wore out - she couldn't find one like it any where.
I found this one & she LOVES it.
It doesn't have all the fancy settings of some cameras.
But it takes really excellent pictures - is a nice size and runs on AA batteries.
She has literally taken thousands of pictures with it and it's still going strong.

I am usually an DSLR user but I needed a quick snapshot camera. I have had multiple iterations of this camera over the years and I love it.

Bought to replace another Canon Powershot that got broken accidentally. I am very impressed with this camera! It has so many features I have not even really started to "learn" all of them yet! The owners manual, is very lengthy and is only available on line, so be sure to have paper to print it out. It does come with a 30 page manual, but it barely touches on the features of this little gem.
