Великолепно

This is a great camera and I am happy that I bought it. I found the original G1 camera and have watched this camera developed over the years. The pictures are very clear. The controls are fairly standard for a Canon camera and are very easy and intuitive for me to use. The pictures have been great.I have only two small complaints about the camera. The first one is that the raw format that this camera produces is not supported in the popular picture software Picasa. That is Picasa's fault however and hopefully they will develop support for it soon.My other complaint is that the flash has to be manually activated. This is not very hard to do and a fairly minor issue however. I guess that's a good part of this as that it increases the users controlling flash .I would certainly recommend this camera to anybody who is looking for one in this class. Overall I am very happy with it.

I like the camera and all it's functions but I miss the view finder, I think you can frame the picture much better through a view finder. Outside shots in sunny conditions is very difficult to see through the LCD viewer. Most of the time I have to guess what I have in the viewer.........

I just love this camera! I was upgrading from a very old Kodak. The zoom on this camera is great. I've also used the recording video and it has great video and sound quality.

The pictures it takes are clear and the color saturation is great. Some of the shots look professional just be cause of the image quality. Haven't done much more than auto, but I intend to learn.

This lens cap is much better than the original.
It stays on, the original always fell off.
Shame on Canon.

This camera is smaller and lighter than the G12 and has a better lens. The controls are similar (maybe slightly better but not necessarily - just different - easy to get used to anyway). However, the lack of a tilt screen and the matte finish are disadvantages. The matte finish scratches other items in your bag (if you carry it around like I do with my wallet and sunglasses, etc, in a satchel). And the lack of a tilt screen cramps my style a lot. If you are upgrading from a G12 I'd wait for the G16. If you're in the market for a good point-and-shoot camera, complaints aside, the G15 is an excellent camera offering a good mix or portability, features and quality images. I've had about 8 different Canon G cameras. I like them.

I absolutely loved this camera.it was easy to use and took great pictures. I could go into all the finer points but there is no reason to do that since I would not buy this camera again nor recommend it to anyone. The fatal flaw; the on off switch is very easy to push unintentionally. When that happens, the lens tries to come out over and over again until the plastic gears are stripped and the camera no longer works. You can overcome this by switching from photo mode to view mode so that the lens doesn't try to come out when the camera is accidentally turned. That seems like too much of an effort for a simple point and shoot. Too bad. I bought a Fujifilm to replace it, but it's really hard to find a point and shoot which uses a DS card AND disposable batteries AND has a viewfinder, the three things I had to have.

I have been searching for an alternative to my pro DSLR gear for times when I just don't want to lug around heavy, expensive equipment (e.g.. skiing, hiking, trips to Disney, family candids, etc). I've tried the Sony NEX 7 and NEX 6 as well as m43 systems. Invariably these systems proved to be less compact than I expected. I also found lens options to be very limited. I've used Canon's S95 and S100 and was very impressed with image quality (considering the size) but ultimately found usability to be problematic. The Canon G15 is a fantastic solution. The controls are laid out very clearly. The lens fast at both wide and tele. The lens retractable and with a built in lens cover. The camera is built like a tank - very well made - and a pleasure to use. While it won't fit in your jeans pocket, it will easily fit in a jacket pocket. Or you can simply hang it around your neck and forget it is there.

We are very satisfied with purchase. We purchased this camera for a upcoming trip to England, France and Belgium. Our existing camera had poor picture quality. And we are very happy with the excellent picture quality of the new camera. We would recommend the SX 160 to our friends and family.

The Powershot D20 is a little larger than you might think by looking at the picture. However, it is sturdy and well built and feels like it could take some knocks (obviously since it's a rugged camera). The camera works just any other of Canon's point and shoots. Perhaps one let down the feature set is relatively basic. You don't get a lot of shooting options with the camera or manual control. But otherwise it's very simple to navigate through the settings and find what you need. The LCD is fairly bright on back and the battery life is pretty good. The zoom buttons work fine on the camera. The lens zooms in and out relatively fast. In fact, this camera surprised me with its performance. I had lowered expectations regarding its autofocus speed and shot to shot times, but they almost match my Canon Powershot S100 in that regard. Which isn't to say that it's a really fast camera but most people will find it reasonably fast in most lighting conditions.Image quality is pretty good. And not just for a rugged camera. The lens is sharp and detail capture is decent for a point and shoot. In bright light, the results are very decent. Low-light pictures are not as great, but still okay. But this is pretty normal for this class of camera. Still, if you're mostly uploading to the web or Facebook, you should be pretty happy with the results.I dunked the camera in a stream while hiking for an underwater shot and I had no issues whatsoever afterwards. The camera has a special "underwater mode" you can use to maximize image quality for underwater shots.A great rugged camera, all-in-all. Pictures are on par with regular Powershot cameras, performance is decent, and weatherproofing works as advertised. Highly reccomended!
