So glad I was able to get this camera to replace my 150 that was dropped and damaged. It meets my needs.

I chose this camera because it used AA batteries and was an upgrade from my SX130. Takes great pictures and the longer zoomis handy when we are traveling.

The macro mode on this camera is fantastic! Photos are crisp and clear, and the white balance is spot on. I have not had a chance to test all of the features yet, but the Auto, P, and AV modes produce high quality photos. I look forward to experimenting with other settings. I have had many Canon point-and-shot cameras and I have enjoyed, but this one exceeds my expectations. It has more features and options. I wish it came with the pocket-sized manual that used to come with Canon cameras. I'd pay extra for that. It's on CD, but that's not helpful if your on vacation and have a question.

I"m really happy with this camera! It was just as described, and does have some wear, but it works great, and was a great bargain! Very good camera.

Beware, the memory card is not included in the box. I Wish it was made clear. Otherwise item is as described.

Yeah, I know this isn't the latest & greatest, but for a good reliable carry around camera, this one's tough to beat.

The charger is basic and simple to use, it functioned well and charged my battery fully. it has a light to show it is operating.

It is compact, light, and the quality of the pictures is very good! Zoom is only x5, but nevertheless everything else met my expectations.

great camera capabilities, excellent photos, easy and convenient controls and easy to use.Software is slow loading, difficult to see, (dark background), not arranged logically, and doesn't work for me.Still have not found a telephone number I can call for help.I dont want to return camera, but I am considering returning.

Love the compact size, picture quality great, digital zoom is just waht i need, and I LOVE the fact that it takes AA batteries!!

doesn"t always charge battery properly. seems like its a bit confused the red light and green light both shine at same time!

I bought the G15 and the quality of the photos was impressive. It is easy to handle although if you are going on a long trip I highly recommend taking the manual with you (you will have to download it onto your computer or print a hard copy). The settings are complicated for a high end point and shoot. It is also a relatively delicate camera. I had used the camera for less than a week on a trip when the lens stuck in the open position. The camera had been handled carefully--there was no neglect. The manual warns the user that wind or rain can cause the lens to stick. This is not a waterproof camera, but the idea that you must avoid using it on a windy or rainy day (obviously the camera should be protected from rain), suggests that this is a camera best suited for use indoors or on a sunny day. The repair was over $220. Canon said the warranty did not apply as they found water inside the camera. There was no proof that this was the case. If you decide to buy the G15 and take it on a trip, take a backup.

As hoped for. Same as original. Works fine. Fit an function seems perfect, what you see is what you get.

Good all-around camera. I could use a closer macro setting, but that's just quibbling. I've had this for a few years now and still enjoy it.

I bought this camera to use at work. It's compact and takes great pictures. My only complaint is that it uses double AA batteries rather than a rechargeable one.

This is my 4th Canon camera. I use it for work related pictures when I travel. It takes great pictures. Nice compact size. Lots of easy to use features. I'm particularly impressed with the quality of pictures it takes under low light conditions & close-ups.I strongly recommend this camera for any serious photographer.

We bought this camera 3 years ago due to the rave reviews, and the reviews were right about everything! So what's the problem you ask? Reliability. The camera is now dead after a little less then 3 years. It never got wet or dropped etc. We bought a Canon because we have 2 other Canon cameras, a old 35mm Eos Elan, and a digital film movie camera which all have worked flawlessly, but not this one.

Our first problem with this camera developed about 8 months after we got it, Canon warrantied the camera and that one has worked until now, of course now it's out of warranty. The lens and zoom mechanical's still work but the display only shows numbers and icons but no picture-the screen is black except for that other stuff, and it won't take a picture. I find it odd that my two other cameras with loads of mechanical stuff going on inside and they still work but a camera with nothing in the way of mechanical parts except the lens failed. If anything this camera should last longer then all the others!

It's those cheesy electronics coming out of China that are failing.

This review highlights Canon and with but minor comments on the camera. I own and have owned a number of Canon cameras and have been satisfied that these products were worth the their cost. That is until now and the lack is for Canon's performance and not the camera. For example, Canon requires a USB Cable (Camera end Mini-B but does not supply one - however they do offer it as an accessory for sale!) according to the supplied Getting Started booklet to upload their software, which includes the User Guide in PDF format (a printed User's Guide is not provided OR offered). Once the cable is acquired and the upload is begun the computer screen has the option to not connect the camera to the computer to upload the software. Supplying the required cable OR sentence in the Getting Started booklet solves this problem. Also, the User's Guide explains how to implement various functions (e.g., setting "Scene options" or "P Mode" options) but does not include how to cancel these selections - this takes experimentation on the users part - and time is money. In summary, I anticipate the Canon PowerShot G15 will perform up to my expectations but at a cost that was unanticipated nor necessary. I was always taught; "Make buying and operating EASY for the customer!". Canon has seemed to ignored this truth!

This camera is quite heavy comparing with other similar types I had before, Kodak by example.I don' like it

Small but not too small. Photos are sharp and are easily composed and exposed using the easy-to-use controls. Quality of the product and visual appeal are both top-notch!

a620 produces good pictures. its viewfinder helps with exact focusing. Its has several features which when mastered makes the camera very versatile and handy. However it lacks image stabilization resulting at times in fuzzy or blur shots especially night shots

This is an ok camera but it is not what I was expecting. I guess they are correct when they say, "you get what you pay for".

It worked beautifully during my snorkling trip in Jamaica. The photos came out bright and clear! It held up when I banged it against rocks while swimming.. even my 8 year old niece enjoyed using it!It does sink, and fast, so I suggest making sure the strap is snug on your wrist. I also suggest practicing using it in the tub so you can get used to the settings and know what's best to use.
