It is small so it will fit into a jacket pocket. View finder is great for the outside pictures because there is no glare.

Still working great after dropping a couple of times. I use it to take pictures through my birding scope (digiscoping).

It is great for my simple needs, but there are some cons: Next camera I will get one that charges the flash faster.. You have to wait between pictures for flash pics and regular pics too. Definitely not a camera for indoor perfection but it's adequate.

This camera is excellent. I bought it to use as my back up camera for my vacation to Montana. I ended up using this camera and leaving my "good camera" at home. I was not disappointed. I didn't have a neck strap for it so that caused some inconvenience but otherwise it was fantastic. Some of the reviews complain about battery time. I had no problem with that. I took over 250 pictures on one set of batteries. I bought a dry bag that fit the camera wonderfully for when we were fishing the Yellowstone river. I have always had great experiences with Canon cameras.

This is the second Canon Powershot camera I've bought, and both have been very good. The zoom range is excellent, as is the image stabilization feature.

We bought this many years ago, and it served us well for a long time. We still use it occasionally. It's a nice little camera!

I enjoy my camera and love the zoom. I showed my sister and she bought one also. It is very easy to use.

It's actually a decent camera and I still use it even though I've had it for 4 or more years. But it just sucks the life out of the batteries so fast. I tried one of the fixes for this that someone had posted on the web, but it didn't help my camera one bit. I still like the camera a lot, but the battery problem costs it 2 stars.

I heard good things about this camera. Used it twice. I basically wanted a point and shoot. The photos were over lit, and grainy. Same with the video function. Very grainy textured picture. I believe I over paid for this camera

I have mislaid the original charger and was so very pleased to find that I could buy another and so cheap. The supplier, Macro, was an exceptionally friendly company to deal with, pleasant and polite, will definitely shop with them again.

Bought this of rmy mom and she loves it. Great quality. Uses AA batteries which was convenient for her so she didn't have to keep track of a charger. But I did buy her rechargeable batteries so that comment might not be very helpful. Anyway - great image quality for snapshots and album prints. Great for moms and grandma.I carry a Fujifilm X100s for better image quality, but I'm a nerd.

I previously had a canon powershot, I think it was an sx100, or very similar, and I loved it. When it died I wanted to replace it with something as similar as possible and I thought this was it. Unfortunately, they moved some of the control buttons to different places, specifically they switched the on/off button and the shutter and they added some buttons. I find it hard to hold this camera without pushing a button I don't want. There is very little room for fingers.

Great compact camera. Took it on my 3 week ascension to the Land Of Israel. I took many great pictures and it was a pleasure to carry around. I did not want to haul around my regular T3i with all its lenses. This camera was all I needed.I recommend it highly!

arrived a day late, Christmas mail,ready to go out of the box but needs a memory card.have been shooting all over christmas still working on supplied battery's.haven't needed flash yet brilliant photos on point and press

I actually bought this for my 4 year old grandson and I enjoyed using it myself. My grandson loves picture taking and is quickly learning how to use the basics of this camera. His father will help him with the more advanced features.

Love the camera. I have not read through all of the very large manual which is not included. There are so many options but even in full auto mode the pictures are clear and sharp. This camera has a great zoom and is very small and easy to carry around in your pocket.

SIze it is bigger than I want. There is a pause before the flash . I like the feature to put the pictures on my computer,!!!

Worked great for 2-3 years. Image quality was good, low noise at higher ISO settings and adequate zoom for a pocket sized camera. I liked that it used AA batteries, though some may find that a negative aspect.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves the camera. It is simple enough to operate yet it has enough gadgets to keep her happy. It takes wonderful pictures. Thank you

It was going to be a Christmas gift, but I had to purchase another one because this one was no good.
Bad purchase.

My first digital camera was a G3 so I have some sentimental attachment here.... I have forgotten about my 5D, MkII and carry this everywhere I go. Love the simplicity, macro, high ISO and creative modes. Would have been nice to have a longer zoom but it still deserves 5 stars!

This camera has an optical view finder which helps in bright sun when the digital screen display is hard to see. Excellent exposures in all kinds of light. Easy to use. Great pictures on auto settings. Many manual settings for experienced photographers. Durable, solid feel. Uses 2 AA batteries for convenience. Used frequently for at least 5+ years.

i rec'd the camera in plenty of time, so i was satisfied with the delivery. but the camera is too slow, specially when you try to use the flash, there is a few seconds of hesitation, it will tell you it is trying to use the flash. so, if you are buying this for a kid, then it is ok to do so,, its not complicated to use. i am surprise that Canon products arent as good as they used to. i guess you cant rely on the name anymore.
