Великолепно

I was a little worried when I read about the software issues and connecting the wireless. Just read the directions, and it took me about 15 minutes to set up my wireless, connect to my p.c and then print an excellent quality photo. Prints quickly, and from anywhere in my apartment. I have not had to replace the ink, so I cannot speak to cost here, but for the quality and convince, I am quite please.

The Canon MX882 is very easy to set up. Smooth operations and very intuitive directions. Print speed is good but could be a little faster. Pictures that you want to print come out very well, top quality. Copying is very good, however I don't use the fax aspect. Scanning experience was minimal but seems very good.

This is an FYI review rather than a true user review, but I hope the information will be useful to those considering a purchase.I was ready to order this printer from Amazon based on its great reviews as a photo printer. Then I went to the local electronics store to shop for something else, and decided to see if they had the 560 in stock to see "in person". They did. Well...first impression was good, the machine certainly looks nice.I thought the flip-up LCD panel would be cool, and it was, but unfortunately the menus and buttons aren't intuitive. It's pretty much the same as a Canon camera; features are there, but it takes time to figure out. Canon seems challenged in the design interface area. The LCD seemed small, crowded, or both.The machine was turned on and loaded with paper so I decided to run a couple tests. Sure enough, when scanning and printing a document, as some reviewers have pointed out, ink saturated the paper to the point of mad wrinkling. Then I tried scanning a photograph. Granted, nobody (hardly) has any reason to print photos on regular paper. But, I've done it on my ancient HP Deskjet D2445 with far better color results than I saw on the Canon 560. The colors did not reproduce well from the original sample photo - they were faded, and the details were fuzzy. In comparison my old Deskjet reproduced the colors faithfully, with great detail on plain paper, and spectacularly on photo paper. I know this isn't apples-to-oranges but it did make me question if the 560 is really a good all-around performer.Checking the physical parts of the Canon, I was not impressed with the rear paper tray. It's very flimsy and obviously not a place you can leave paper for any length of time, especially not photo paper, due to dust, etc. The front paper tray was the cheapest I've ever seen on any printer. It looked like it could hold maybe 25 pieces of plain paper comfortably. Removing and putting it back was a chore, as it has no rails to guide you and seems it will break at the slightest misalignment.Beyond producing great photos on appropriate photo paper, I need an all-in-one that can accurately scan and print all kinds of documents. I also want adequate build quality - no frustrations with cheap parts or dust magnets - and useful, intuitive features. Although I've recently had a bad experience with photo printing problems in a new HP Photosmart B209a, I'm now leaning towards trying the Photosmart Premium B309G Or maybe just keeping the Deskjet 2445 and getting a dedicated scanner/copier! :->

I've been waiting for the right time to purchase my new Canon HD camcorder and now was the time to do this. The last camcorder that I owned was a small Canon Z10 (I think that what it was). Back then I had to use tape and the DVD version just came out. I knew that Canon was looking at HD technology so I made myself wait. I'm glad I did. I had a choice between the Vixia 20, 21, and 200. After weeks of research, I decided to purchase the Canon Vixia HF S200 (this is the one without the internal GB drive) because of the ease of use by removing the SD card and popping it in my 27" iMac via iMovie11. I must say, the quality of the video is incredible. Canon really did themselves a favor by keeping this camcorder on the market because some of us, like myself, don't care for the internal storage. I'd rather take the SD card out and not bother with a USB cable to computer. The two reasons why I did not give it 5 stars is because they don't supply the camera with a battery charger AND the fact that the when you film in low light, there's too much noise in the shot. Other than that, the camcorder is a dream. As a professional graphic designer and photographer, I wanted to immerse myself into a little bit of video and the Canon Vixia line of camcorders is the best place to start. I haven't used it extensively but plan to give this review an update. But as of now, it's a great little camcorder that has the best quality picture in its class of HD video cameras.

I hate printers. They're usually so finicky and uncooperative that they drive me nuts. When my last one failed on me, I decided I would buy a "cheapo" and just throw it away and get another when the time came. I was pleasantly surprised by this under $50.00 printer. Easy to use, good basic product. It does take a little bit of time to "set itself" up before it prints making all sorts of movements and sounds before the first copy comes out. But when it does start to print, it is really quite a fast print. I can't complain about the print quality either. I'd buy it again.

We have been a HP user for over 20 years but decided, because of reviews, to try this Canon. It is the best printer/fax/scanner we have ever owned. It was extremely easy to set up, wireless was quick and easy, and we have been very pleased with the print speed and quality. We are using it for home and a small business and have had no problems... I have read most of the bad reviews on this machine and I haven't had any of those problems.Out of the box I was able to:1) Plugged it in2) Loaded software to 3 computers3) Playstation 3 found on Wireless network4) Printed from all 45) Scan to folder to all 4 alsoall in about 10 min.The only thing that took some time was using a Blackberry to print to the machine.It has been working for 6 months now with no problems, NONE!! NOT one.The only thing I had to change was in the Printing Preference settings to print from last page first and Printing Speed to Fast.On my Seconded round of Ink with no problemsThat's it Lock, Stock and Barrel.I just don't understand all the bad reviews, unless those people over-think things.So I Highly recommend this Machine, Unless you don't like reading the Manual it comes with, or like the Error code "ID 10 T"

I am normally a fan of Canon but this printer is the worst printer I have ever owned. I purchased it 6 months ago for home use and do not do a lot of home printing... the main reason for this now is that the printer never works. It is always spitting out some random error message that requires a few google searches to find a solution to fix the issue. I have not been able to solve the latest issue (error 6C10 or something like that) and have spent far too long trying various fixes that I have found on the internet. The printer is a ink hog and even with my limited printing the tanks run dry fast. I would not recommend this printer to anyone. My wife's 10 year old, $20 Lexmark beats this thing hands down!

My previous HP printer had bluetooth wireless capability. But I couldn't get it to work wirelessly after hours of attempting to do so. I then paid $50 to a computer shop to resolve the problem, but they couldn't make it print wirelessly either!Well I then got this Canon MP495 from Amazon since it was advertised to use wifi to print wirelessly. Well, I was shocked! It worked the very first time I installed the setup software, and it is actually using my router to print wirelessly!! Quite amazing in performance for the price.

We got this printer because it was cheap and had wireless capability. Our apartment is small so being able to put this printer any where in the apt. was a huge selling point for us. The wireless setup worked flawlessly (though we did have to plug it into the computer with the supplied USB cable to perform the setup). Printing B/W Word documents is pretty fast, we tried a color photo and it looked pretty good too (good enough to frame). For such a low price it can't really be beat.Pros:-Cheap-Wireless works just fine-Quality and speed are fine for us, we are not a heavy-use printing family-USB cable is suppliedCons:-Setup took 20 mins (kinda long in my opinion) and had to plug in USB to setup wireless, but really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Bought it for my Canon Powershot S100. Battery didn't even fit in the slot. Obviously, they have mislabeled this battery. Return.UPDATE: they seem to have changed the description to exclude my camera. Hopefully it will work for the ones listed.

I have the MX882 for a few weeks now. The print quality is good enough to enjoy home photos without having to get them printed by a photo shop. The copy function is as easy as pushing one button, and you can choose between color or black and white. The two sided printing function helps save paper. Most of all, I like the wireless feature. All the PC's in my home were printing and scanning with the machine within a half hour of setting it up.

This printer is great when it works, but about every 2 weeks we would have to re-install the driver because of a "communication error". This error is apparently a common one for Apple laptop users, and it proved to be true for both our 2010 MBP 13" and our 2011 Macbook Air. Eventually my method of troubleshooting (re-installing the driver) was no longer effective, and the network died all together.Going to dry Brothers Printers next.

I bought this printer to replace my beloved Canon MP730 which bit the dust earlier this week.Setup was very straightforward. I had it printing wirelessly from my laptop and my iPad within about 30-45 minutes of cutting the tape to open the box. Print quality looks good. It seems to be a bit louder than the MP730 but that may be my imagination.A good machine in its class.

After reading other reviews I was a little concerned about the cons of this item. I needed a scanner so went ahead as the pros outweighed them.I use direct printing instead of wireless and things are fine so far. The fact that the printer starts from the back is not an issue for me as was mentioned in one of the reviews. It does everything I want so I am very satisfied indeed.

This is an excellent printer. Easy to instal. I installed it in less than 20 minutes, and immediately worked perfectly. I am using it mainly to scan and print photos and I love the color and the detail of the outputs. I manage all my data from my Mac computer and the printer responds like a champ. I definitely recommend this product.

I've been through many printers and this one is the only one where I bought a second one for my family. I highly recommend this one. Setup is easy. I had no problems with the wireless. It even keeps its settings after unplugging it and hooking it up elsewhere..no need to redo the wireless settings. Ink can be found cheap online, even those with chips. I've had this printer for about a year now...using it extensively (scanning whole textbooks, printing boderless 8x11 prints, making duplex copies, and it still going strong.

It works fine, and I was able to connect it to our wifi, and I'm pretty technologically challenged so it's got to be user friendly. The only complaint I have is that it's huge! We have to get a whole separate desk for it and put it in the garage because it won't fit on the bookshelf where I wanted to keep it, it's a good thing it's wireless haha.

The ink prices for HP finally forced me to consider other brands after years of exclusive HP printer purchases. I'm really happy with the Canon! Looks great and is easy to use.Pros -User friendlySmall footprint for a tool which does so muchProgrammableGreat quality printsGreat value for ink replacementWireless works perfectly with all printers in the houseScanner is phenomenal, quality like much higher end scannersAutofeed is fast and holds more sheets than many other comparable machinesSoftware interface is intuitiveCons -Somewhat noisier than other printersSomewhat slower than other printers, especially during copyingInitial wireless set up was tediousI would have given this product a 5-star review if the wireless setup had gone better. The online manual and paper instructions simply don't address all the necessary steps. I had to call in to tech support and then had it finished in about 5 minutes. Canon customer service is outstanding. No weird call centers in some far-off land with people you can't understand and that strange buzzing and clicking in the background.

I am a homeschooling mother of 3, and I print a lot! I decided when my Lexmark printer (was a gift) ran out of black ink I would buy a new printer because Lexmark ink is too expensive and runs out too quickly. I decided on this printer because it got decent reviews on print quality. I'm not concerned about photo printing, because I use another service for that. I like the ease of use of this printer, and I like that it prints fairly quickly. I was a little concerned about the wireless setup because of the reviews stating it was confusing to set up. I did not find this to be the case! I found that once I unwrapped the printer, installed the ink and put the cd in the drive that the on-screen directions were PERFECT! It told me what to do and when to do it. I just installed it today, so I can't comment on the ink life or quality over time, but the 20 pages I printed today were perfect.EDIT: As for ink life, I print quite a bit in Black and White, and mostly I use the draft setting for the fastest print time and lowest ink consumption. I find that printing 15 - 30 pages per week I can get about 6 months on one black ink cartridge, which for me is great performance, and this is considering that when I use the copy function I can't get draft settings.After having the printer for almost a year, I began to have problems with the print quality, I contacted Canon customer support, and after some troubleshooting determined that the unit was faulty. I was shipped a new unit, which works wonderfully, and I couldn't be happier.

I have only had this printer several days, but so far, I am THRILLED WITH IT! Wireless setup was easy with no problems. I can now print from both of my laptops wirelessly. I also faxed somthing out with no isses. This printer so far has been worth every penny,and I can see CANON put lots of thought into the little details (ie, pausing to print a page so that previous printed page can 'dry'....).

I have an excellent stand-alone scanner so was in need of an inexpensive printer to fit on my middle computer desk shelf. I previously had the Canon PIXMA iP1800 that served me well for 4 years. I have used the iP2702 for a month now and it works well as expected. It installed smoothly on my Windows 7 computer. The big plus I really enjoy is the Auto Power feature. The printer will turn itself on when the print job starts and turn itself off after the job ends. Go into the maintenance menu to enable this feature. This is a good basic printer without paying for a lot of extra features I don't need.

Owned more than 10 HP printers throughout the years. Every single one failed on me one way or another. Most recent HP printer's scanner just stopped working suddenly. Due to past experiences with other Canon printers, I decided to give this one a try - afterall it's one of the cheapest wireless printer in the market.So far all's been well. Installation for wireless printing was a breeze. My wife prints quite a bit of coupons every day. Been a month since I got it and am still using the cartridge that came with the unit. Print quality is OK, not superb but good enough for me for everyday use.I hope it will last much longer than the HPs I used to own. Will have to wait and see.

Believe the negative reviews. I bought this model anyway because my 3 year old HP printer had already bitten the dust and wasn't compatible with Windows 7. I had this Canon printer almost exactly one month. I probably printed fewer than 150 pages before I started getting nothing but misfeeds.

Using this device via WiFi with three Apple computers I have had no problems. Everything installed correctly on the first try on all three MACs. Ink usage seems reasonable so far. This device replaced a 7 year old Canon S900 photo ink jet which served me well. Print quality is good, driver gives lots of options. I am very pleased with this printer on my MACs. On my PC, as a printer, it works great. Scanning on the PC....does not exist. I cannot find the scanner functions anywhere. I reloaded the drivers twice. Online searching was of no help. PC is running XP Pro with all updates installed. I have decided to use the scanner portion of the device through my MACs only and only print from the PC.I have not tried any of the faxing options as they are of no interest to me. Summary: great device on my MACs. Limited functionality on my PC.

I traded my HP 6110 All-in-One printer for this Canon MX882. The color prints are nothing you can use for photos or craft/artwork. My biggest complaint is the terrible way it scans a document into a PDF only (as far as I can figure it). My HP 6110 could scan recipes or books right into WORD documents so easily - smooth transition. But with this Canon only after hours of fiddling around with it, I managed to scan a recipe as text into Notepad...and then it was barely readable! it was just awful looking with characters all wrong and would have to be retyped. Just a miserable headache if you want to scan text documents and do not want to use PDFs. The manual had nothing on this issue.

The Canon MX 882 has done a fabulous job so far. The photos are clean and the colors are brilliant. I cannot tell the difference between making the 882 photos and sending them out to have them done. The Canon cartridges are too expensive! I am hoping the compatibles will not clog-up the printer head...remains to be seen. If they work this will be the best Canon I've purchased so far and I have had two mult-functionals before. I've only had the 882 for a month.

I bought this printer on the face of the 18 4.5 reviews on Amazon. I bought it at my supermarket since I was in a hurry.The first few days were perfect. Installation is a breeze, print quality all right.A quick note on the ink: it runs out pretty fast, I had to buy a cartridge after about 200 pages of black ink. I used a printer refilling station since then which has been working great. I bit messy to pour the ink but divides printing costs by four.My main concern is about the Wifi. Wifi means printer does not need to be attached to the computer by USB, it could be several feet away. In my case things have been really great first couple of weeks or so. Now it won't print anymore using Wifi.I'm changing jobs right now, so I need a reliable printer that can print my resume just before I leave the house, if I spot a last-minute typo. The Wifithing works one out of three times. After a few hours it works again. The Canon network troubleshooting tool is useless.The big joke on Canon I guess is that I didn't ask for Wifi, and didn't factor it in the buying process. But since it's there, I got used to it in the first weeks, and now I enrage when it doesn't print. without the Wifiprinter is worth 4 stars.Hope this review can help anybody with their purchase. Basically don't buy it if you need a reliable wireless printing.Last remark, I'm using Windows XP. Maybe windows vista/7 would work better?Camille

It is so easy to use, the quality of printouts is very high, the wireless feature is so convenient, and the ink cartridges are relatively affordable. I'm using it for a home based business with the need for a fairly high capacity of printing, scanning and copying. It has been delivering at a very high level for me, and I recommend it for anyone with these type of needs.

Had the 882 a bit more than 1 month. Found WiFI setup a snap with 3 macs and 3 win 7 computers! I-pod touch prints to it great! Fax works great with my answering machine just as advertised. Did a couple of photos and found that great Canon quality and speed still there in this model. Duplex printing is a bit slow, but considering the paper savings its worth the wait. Duplex scanning works great for documents. Overall I am very pleased with MX 882.

I settled on this printer based on the reviews I read here, and the price is insanely good. The ink is much cheaper to replace than my Brother or HP, which was a big selling point for me. Scanning quality is great, pictures print out very clear and dry to the touch immediately. Was able to fax out easily and without issues, however it was a nightmare to set up the "receive mode" of the fax. The printed and online manual was very difficult to follow. I had it set on Fax Only mode (I use a dedicated fax line) and my faxes would not come through. Admittedly I am a bit of a technophobe, but on my Brother machine I was able to get the fax function to work immediately. I expected the same ease of set up here. Normally this kind of problem would lead me to leave a rating of just 3 stars, but the Canon service team were outstanding. I called the 800# and the very pleasant representative had my fax working within 5 minutes. Turns out there was one more setting I needed to apply, and she walked me through it and I didn't even feel stupid afterwards! I have not set it up wirelessly, and was not prepared to do so tonite. I read a review that said it's not so easy, so I thought I'd save that for another day knowing that help is just a phone call away if I need it. Great product with great support, I feel like I won the lottery!!!

The product in question seemed great when i first received it. Everything was easy to set up and when i selected print on my MAC it printed a nice clean document. It did however take a good minute to print off a single page but i could get over this. Then about a month after owning this product it started going wacko on me. At first it ran out of ink and started just printing blank pages and it never told me it was out of ink. Then it would stop connecting to my network and i had to reconnect it every time i wanted to print something, so instead of being able to print from anywhere in my house wirelessly as advertised i had to walk to my printer and reconnect it which took about 5 minutes, add another couple of minutes for the thing to actually print and then we are up to about 7 minutes just to print a piece of paper. Well even this was tolerable i mean at least it printed my paper. Not for long. Eventually after about 3 months of owning it, it will no longer print anything. I re downloaded the software and tried everything the manual said and even googled solution nothing worked. My 120$ was down the tube. What a terrible printer.

If you are looking for something for occasional printing (coupons, some emails, forms, boarding passes etc.), this is an amazing buy. Its cheap and it will surely do the job for you. Don't waste your money on this item (and thus mess with its rating) if you need it for more than occasional use. I couldn't think of a reason for not giving it 5 stars as it does the job i wanted it to do. Dont know about the durability yet, as its only been a month, but it seems it'll last me a while.

Великолепно

I use a Mac because it's simple to operate. I use a point and shoot camera for the same reason..simple. When my Lexmark gave me software problems, I got my Pixma..because it's simple. Very easy to set up, prints beautifully, economical to operate, and the photos are fantastic, and so is the price. I've had mine almost two months now, I use it everyday, and I'm still using the ink that came with the printer! Simplicity is beautiful..

Ужасно

The printer is able to print, but not unless everything is set perfectly.This would be OK if the settings did not reset, and the WIFI worked.I take my stuff in to work to print and scan now.I will only use this in emergencies
