Великолепно

This printer worked right out of the box. Easy to setup only took a few minutes, no problems installing ink. It was very simple and it was very easy to get it shared over my network, unlike my old lexmark printer. I am still on the first cartridge and have printed several pages. I haven't printed any photos though, but that isn't what I bought the printer for. Plus it only has 3 colors so you can't expect super high quality. This printer also doesn't have a paper tray so if it doesn't have any space to put the printed sheets out on they may end up on the floor.I would recommend this especially for the price. I got this free for signing up for the amazon.com credit card. They had a promotion if you signed up and got approved they gave you $40, which made this free for me! Out of all the printers I researched this had to be the best one for the price!The only thing that wasn't even a problem for me was it didn't ship with a printer cord, everything else was in the box, but having had several different printers I have plenty of extras.

Es una hermosura! No es tan grande pero s? es pesada como para manipularla una mujer.El programa para escanear no es tan sofisticado como con un Epson, pero hace bien su trabajo.Para usar el Wifi debes tener un router o usar con cable usb, ambos deben comprarse por separado.Se instala muy f?cilmente y su programaci?n no es pesada para tu pc.Ah! Trae un cartucho independiente para cada color lo que es una maravilla y te permite imprimir en calidad de -borrador-.La recomiendo.

Bought this printer and had it shipped to Central America, where we run an orphanage. It has no cable and the wireless connection requires a router. I have neither. I was hoping the wireless connection of our laptops could connect to it with a point-to-point "ad hoc" connection, but no dice; the printer cannot find the open connection.So, we have a nice, shiny, large paperweight waiting on a $2.50 cable that would have cost Canon $0.25 to drop in the box. Somewhere in that company there's a bean counter happy with himself that he saved the company X-hundreds of dollars while many of the printers sit unusable around the world.Nice job, Canon.

As soon as I saw this printer at Gold Box Deal, I decided to go for it to replace my older HP photo inkjet printer for my small business. Set up was breeze and I was able to use it in no time. Installed the software for maintenance and scan. I'm very pleased with the scanning quality, especially photos. Print quality is very good except it is SLOW!!! You just have to make sure you'll have enough time to print if you plan to print in large volume. I like the 5 separate ink cartridge system, and love how easy to replace the cartridge. It'll show you which one is running out, and taking it out and in is a snap. However, the cartridge seems to run out faster as the size of the cartridge is quite small, so you'll have to have stock of them handy all the time. The biggest problem I have is to set this printer as wireless. It seems it works sometime randomly, but can't depend on it 100%. Tried to do the mobile printing, but did not work with either Droid or Evo. Wireless printing seems impossible with Windows 7 as one of the laptop I have here doesn't even show there's a printer on the network. I'll keep on researching how to set up with Windows 7, but XP is okay.

I'm a paper hoarder. I have every tax return I ever prepared, recipes I will never prepare, resumes from years ago, and so on and so on. I liked the look of this, and liked the auto paper feed for scanning and copying, so I thought I would give it a try. Set up was easy enough, though I've only got the first computer hooked up, 2 more to go. The interface is a little odd, and you have limited functionality to manipulate the .pdf once items are scanned in. That said, I have already scanned a number of documents and have started the shredder pile that's over an inch tall. It may not seem like much, but I've been lugging these documents around for years, and to be able to easily save them to the computer is a great thing. Can't speak yet about printed image quality or how long the cartridges last, will report back on that.

I bought the canon printer. Everytime I use it, even for copies, it is a battle of wills! For no obvious reason it will fight me until I do a power reset.... which usually tkes a power cord removal since the power button only makes the lights blink!... I am tired of having to battle this piece of crap every time I need to print. I am not a newbie. I've been in the service end of the computer industry since 1968 and I have to say that the reliability of the communication and man-machine interface is a joke.... but it is not funny. Don't buy a canon if you want to print.

I gave 4 stars to this printer only because 2 days after I had the printer I sent an e-mail to Canon Custormer Service and the replay was not that good. however, when I called and talked to canon customer service they were very good. Very good printer and very good phone Customer Service. I recommend this to a friend.Chase

The Wi-Fi connection seems to come and go. It worked great at first then my iMac would keep finding the printer offline. Searching help forums it seems like this is a common problem without much of a solution. USB connection works well. Documents print fast and with good quality. Pictures are just so-so. Using photo paper I tried a few prints from Photoshop. There was a "dusty" quality to the prints. I changed some settings but I just couldn't get a clean, vibrant photo print.

Hi,I've got this printer with the BF deal. It is awesome.Setup was quick, print and scan quality are excellent.One question please: I want to scan many (hundreds of photos) to have it on my PC.Is there a quick way to do it? Can I put 20-30 photos at a time in the document feeder?Any tips on how to scan photos at the highest quality and mose effictively will be highly appreciated.I looked in the instructions manual and couldn't find an answer.Thanks!

This printer does just fine for us. It does have some annoying features, though. For one, it is loud. Lots of beeps, clicks and whirs every time it turns on / turns off / goes to sleep / prints. Another is that it doesn't turn on automatically when something is sent to print - even our ancient HP did that. All in all, though, we've had no operational problems.

Everything about this printer seems fine except the wireless connectivity. Setting it up is a hassle--you have to load their CD and their software, and jump though a lot of specific hoops with your computer physically connected with their cable before you get the wireless functinality.Mine worked well for a few months--I just left it on, and it would print and scan well, upon demand wirelessly. Since then every time I've needed to print it gives me a "Communication Error," which I fixed once by reloading their CD and software into my computer, hooking up my computer again with their cable, and going through all the setup all over again. Then a week later I needed to print something, and again "Communication Error." Rebooting, etc. does not help. I'd rather throw the thing in the trash than go through their tedious setup process again, especially since it will likely only result in temporary wireless functionality.Canon needs a lot of work refining the wireless functionality.

I originally bought this printer for my mom. She's not tech savvy at all so I ended up buying her a different brand (Brother) and keeping this one for myself. Good thing it was only $50 and not the asking price it's going for now. I set this printer up with my mac and my goodness what a pain in the a@@. I have never been inspired to write a review for a product good or bad before. First off it took quite longer than it should to set up the network feature then within about 30 minutes of being set up, I kept getting an error message that says scanner cannot not be recognized. Before the scanner quit working altogether it really was very noisy - UNBELIEVABLE Canon!!! Just unbelievable and the printing was so sloooww. Good grief! The only good thing I can say about this product is that printing is relatively quiet, but scanning (while it worked) is very loud and grating. I didn't bother to try copying since I was trying to figure how to get that horrible scanning noise to stop - and btw, that quiet mode setting on the printer, DOES NOT WORK! The absolute worst thing however was the uninstall. Canon saw fit to put files all over my mac and it took about 50 minutes to find them all - because not every file that was installed was called "canon". Stay away from this product. I'm going to try to find a way to get rid of this thing and I'll most likely get the Brother printer - that was a breeze to install and function and - it has a fax! Ugh Canon, just ugh!

I like this printer so much, I now own 2 of them. It works great as a wireless all in one. Instructions are good for set-up. It prints good quality photos and also great with the documents. With my previous printer, I got so frustrated with the scanning feature being limited and difficult to use. Not so with this one... it is easy to operate and easy to save the scans. This item arrived fast and was packaged well. It measures 17.5in wide and about 20in deep with paper feeder and paper tray extended (13.5 without). The setup was easy, my computer did most of the work using the disk that came with it. The wireless aspect is very nice because I use a laptop and like to work from my couch or kitchen counter most of the time. The print quality is pretty good, I haven't tried scanning or copying yet, but the printer itself looks really nice. It comes with a little pack of photo paper too :)

I bought this mainly for the scanner function. I wanted to incorporate hand-drawn elements into my website, so I wanted something that would quickly scan in sketches and doodles so I could work with them in photoshop. This has great ratings so I picked it out based on that, and its worked well for what I needed. Haven't tried the printer function or wireless, so can't comment on that. Wireless scanning would have been nice, but according to other reviews there were major problems with that function, so I didn't even bother trying to set it up.

Other than the cost of ink, I was very happy with this printer. The wireless function (after a lot of fussing with this and that)no longer works. If I return to Amazon, I will have to pay shipping and 20% restocking fee.

The printer is so quiet while printing and doesn't shake the table it is on while printing. The picture progam is so easy to use also. I let someone talk me into an HP- never again. The Canon is easy to use and it lets me use any kind of paper to print on. We use the scanning feature for pictures. I would highly recommend this printer.

I normally only buy HP but wanted an inexpensive wireless model so tried this one. Haven't regretted it. We have a large two story home and my husband can print on the bottom far end of the house in his studio on the printer which is on the upper floor in the other end of the house. Set up was fairly easy.I have a mac and pc in my office. Mac uses it wirelessly, pc is wired in so I can use the scanner. FYI: The scanner WILL NOT work on wireless due to the technology. I just got this printer because my old one would no longer support scanning with Lion. It was about time for a replacement anyway. Out of the box to printing and scanning was 20 minutes. I downloaded the new drivers directly from Canon - the install disc included warns that the drivers are not supported with the OS. Setting up the wireless was a snap, the menus are very intuitive. The print quality is excellent for both pictures and text. The ability to scan and print wirelessly from both my desktop and laptops is pretty slick. Once the printer is on the network, installing the printer on all of my other computers was no hassle at all - 2 minutes, maximum.I haven't tried to fax yet, but I don't really do a lot of that anyway.I'm not sure what happened with other folks who had difficulty, I had no trouble whatsoever. I've always been happy with Canon products and this one rewards my faith in them.

I've had a few satisfactory HP printers. Didn't desire anything else. That is, until I acquired the HP Photosmart B8550. It was inconsistent in its response and very frustrating to operate. HP replaced it and the replacement was also challenging to operate. I threw it away and got this Canon Pixma ix6520. I like it very much and recommend it.Canon Pixma iX6520 Inkjet Printer (4895B002)

I see that there are dozens and dozens of bad reviews on this product and alot of good reviews that I am sure are from either limited use individuals or ones that rush to review it after owning it only a few days.Be prepared for this design flw from you know where.This printer WILL tell you that you dont have paper installed in tray in back when printing even though you do.How screwed up is that.Than you wiggle paper around and it recognizes it prints one shjeet than stops recognizing it.Unreal.Have this happern to you and you will want to throw this POS out the window.I would have but I am keeping it for fax and have HP printer stacked on top of it for all printing that works flawlessly.Cannon is absolute garbage avoid !

In order for you to use this printer 'wireless' you have to first connect it with a USB cable.In the past printers came with no cable. This printer comes with a USB cable that you one use once!So when you needed one, you had to buy it. And now you don't need it and they give it to you.I liked the HP wireless printers much better because you could set it up 100% from the printer.Also "Windows Fax and Scan" does not detect the scanner. I downloaded the printer driver from the website, and I don't want to install the canon software. I know HP's scanner works with "Windows Fax and Scan" just by installing the basic driver. Maybe I will just scan to a SD card. Wait, there isn't a SD slot, lame.Other then that I have not tested it much yet, only printed out two pages.Update: I just downgraded this to 1 star because you have to go over to the printer and turn it on every time you want to print! On wireless it goes to standby and will not wake up. Time to send it back to amazon.

Needed it mostly for scanner features over wi-fi. Installation was easy, though manual is boring and misleading. Following DVD prompts was easy enough, wi-fi setup easy too, not much required in terms of knowledge. Did not print anything yet but scanner works over wi-fi perfectly and I had no problems so far. Would buy again and again if needed.

I bought this printer to replace an old photo printer but needed the ability to scan, copy and fax as well. Cannon makes great products and this printer was so easy to set up and works great. The buttons are large and bright and the WiFi feature works great. I am very happy with this purchase and Amazon sold this printer at the best price.

We've had this printer for two years now. Ever since we got it, we have very disappointed. Every day, it disconnects from the wifi, and if you need to print a document with a usb, you can't. The quality of the photos and documents are very low, as well.

I had very positive results with this printer, until it just gave up the ghost one day. I used it on my mac for about two years. I certainly didn't abuse it or use it heavily. One day it just stopped responding -- I couldn't even turn it on. Now its going to our local electronics recycling station. For the price I paid, I expected more.

I just purchased this for $32.98 plus free shipping. Read all the reviews, plus checked the star ratings. I gave a scathing review for my last printer a Epson Stylus 125. This one is so much easier to operate and download and the ink cartridges are so much easier to install. I have had printers before and I would recommend this one overall over the Epson Stylus 125. That printer was so temper-mental installing the ink cartridges that I wanted to pick it up and throw it through the window. One review for this printer said it was noisy, well so was the Epson. The only space for the printer is on the top of my computer desk next to my monitor-I have a Apple G4 "Flower pot". I have more than enough room and as for no paper tray to catch the printouts-there is enough room left over that they do not shoot out on the floor they land on the desktop. I would highly recommend this printer overall. As I look back at it all I should have bought this one from the beginning_ I made a drastic mistake.

I bought this to replace a 12 year old HP Deskjet 722c, which had stopped printing in color correctly 4 years ago (but was a champ in black), and also to replace a scanner that doesn't work with Windows 64-bit; Unfortunately this printer stopped working at all after about four weeks (two system errors on startup). Canon support shipped out a refurbished replacement after a one day 'backorder'; but the replacement won't recognize the ink, so I still can't print. Ugh. Update: Canon sent me a new set of all five inks (only needed to replace two of the originals, so I have 3 extra ink tanks), with quick shipping, so I'm happy with their service; I just wish I didn't need to use it.

A piece of garbage. It takes MINUTES sometimes for it to start. Very difficult to change functions. If there were less than 1 star, I'd give it that. I run a very small business from my home, and don't expect much. This deliver considerable less.

Haven't tried color, even though I've used it for 6 months now. Does great technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.Cons are minor, it's big, noisy and a bit slow on start up though its fairly quite and fast once it finishes the start up routine.

I purchased the MX 420 for home use. I was a little concerned because my Prior much more expensive printer and it was very difficult to set up in a wireless enrivoment.The MX 420 install disk was so easy, just put in the install disk and follow the picture is the order they show and it was up and running no sweat.I am pleased and would suggest it for most home uses.JTD

I was hesitant to buy this after reading reviews of how hard it was to set up, but I found it extremely easy. I have Windows 7 and didn't need to install any software or even connect the printer to anything. I am very pleased. It's printing great and copies look good. I can't talk about durability or ink usage as I just got it less than an hour ago. and like I said, already up and running. Terrific $50 buy.

I finally gave up on my HP all-in-one because it wasn't ready for prime time. This one had great reviews all over the web, so I bought it. Set up was a breeze, and the instructions, though a little obtuse, were easy to follow. It's a big guy - but fits neatly on the corner of a desk away from the computer. With wireless, that's not a problem, but it would be too big to snuggle next to you on a normal desktop. I love the big buttons for the fax - not as easy to make a mistake.

This is a great printer, no hassle set up. I had another wireless printer and could not get it to work wireless. The Canon Pixma MX882 was so easy to set up, took it out of the box, follow instructions, and started working right away. I was pleased with my purchase and recommend this printer.

This seemed like a good deal & it is. The wireless feature is very convenient & the picture printing capability is too. I love the quality of the print jobs & the speed is fine. I give it a 4 star rating and recommend it to anyone. I really like it. The only problem is when more than 4 different jobs are selected for print, the printer sometimes pauses. I'm not sure why that happens, whether caused by the network or printer but I like the product. A friend of mine also has one & loves it. Get it!

Printer overall performs well. In set up I think for not much more money Canon could have manufactued an LCD screen with something you can actually read rather than the "codes" needed to change setting, not user friendly. If you are just doing basic printing without the need to change settings with any regualrity for photo's etc it will be fine, otherwise you will need the maual as a cheat sheet.

I ordered this printer as a replacement for my Canon Pixma MP600. It was a workhorse that finally met a timely demise. Prior to ordering, I did my homework and compared several Canon Pixma models before finally settling on the MX882 as the best option for my home office.The MX882 arrived within days after ordering. The first thing I noticed out of the box is that it was a bit bigger and heavier than my MP600. The footprint was approximately the same, however. Setup was a breeze. The wireless connection to all four Win 7/Vista computers in my home was effortless.Document printing is crisp and clean. Wireless scanning works like a charm. I haven't yet tried the fax or photo printing capabilities, but expect them to be on par with the other functions.The only two minuses would be that the MX882 is quite a bit noisier than my MP600, and the ink tanks are about half the size than the ones my MP600 used, but cost the same. I also would have preferred not to have the piano black finish, as it shows every fingerprint and is a dust magnet so requires more upkeep.I'm completely satisfied with my purchase overall and would definitely recommend this printer.

I've never had a Canon computer but I decided to buy this one because of the price, and in spite of all the half-negative reviews. Yes, it takes a bit of time to get the printing started, but why does everything have to be instantaneous? Would you like us to speed up the demise of the United States? No? Then you can wait a few extra seconds for your printer to start printing - it won't kill you.I love the Canon MX882's size, its black shiny color, the shape and size, the multi-purpose buttons, the way the printer door opens itself when it's time to print. Setup was a breeze, and I LOVE the scanning feature, it is SO fast! My HP scanning totally reeked (talk about having to wait for something to happen....)I've had no problems with this all-in-one; however, I haven't yet used the fax machine feature so I can't comment on that at this time.
