Великолепно

This was purchased as a replacement for a previous Canon printer that had become tired and worn-out...... Excellent photo print quality, fast plain paper printing - My preference would be for a top paper feed as in previous machine, otherwise excellent.

Great printer, works well over wifi, has everything i want (photo print, duplex, edge priniting, cd printing) well thought out but pretty big. Some nice features like auto switch on and auto open output tray. The only downside is that it takes ages to get going when you print, takes a long time to warm up and get ready for printing, but once its on and printing has started its fine after that. Works on both Windows and Mac. I haven't tried Ubuntu/Linux yet but drivers do exist on the Canon website/

I bought this as a replacement for a Canon iP4600 which had given good service but finally packed up after a lot of use. The iP7250 has been reviewed elsewhere quite exhaustively and my only comments would be that I find it not as handy as its predecessor due to the absence of a rear hopper loader which was very useful for popping an envelope in while the new machine uses internal magazines. Also, the wi-fi was a bit tedious to set up but USB cable (supplied) does get it sorted in the end. The 7250 is a bit deeper and a shade wider than the 4600 but not as high. It's too soon to tell how the ink consumption will work out but the print quality is good and definitely quicker than the old printer.

Prints beautiful pictures even if the start up is a bit long winded. BUT can't get the wireless to work. My other HP printer mated with the router straight out of the box, this Canon just refuses to recognise it.

Beautiful printer....delighted with the purchase (you'll need a little bit of space as you'll find it twice the size of a normal A4 ink jet printer).

Print quality is astonishing - you'll think the printing was done on a printing press...

Prompt delivery, one day in advance of estimated date. Well packaged and simple to set up. I have used Canon printers for some time and I like the separate colour ink cartridges which I consider very much more economical that a single colour cartridge.

Very satisfied with this printer, which has greatly helped in the ability to print direct from my IPad. Twin paper feed trays also a distinct advantage albeit that I would have preferred a capability to print on a range of card weights; current recommended weight slightly lean for some domestic purposes.

I wanted a wireless printer to replace my Canon Pixma ip4300, wired to an obsolescent XP desktop on my home network, which had given good service over many years. I already have a separate scanner so did not need an all-in-one printer; I could get a better quality printer in the same, reasonable price band as an all-in-one. My research led me to this model.
From the box it took me about 45 minutes to put things together - I read and follow the instructions! I ran the installation CD with the printer about 5 yards away from my BT HomeHub 3 wireless router and the two connected immediately, as if by magic, to my surprise and delight. I then moved the printer to its intended position upstairs, switched it on and within seconds it connected wirelessly to the router and I was able to print out from my laptop downstairs. This continues to be the case.
I also wanted good print quality, 5 separate ink cartridges and duplex printing which are all provided so my brief has been met.
My only criticism is that the printer sometimes, but not always, takes a minute or so after switch on clicking and whirling away before printing but is fine thereafter.

The printer works fine as a USB printer. Wireless set up it is useless. Although the Cannon utilities can find the printer , and the IP can be pinged. Printing amounts at best to the ejection of a blank page. The wireless communication is via an Access point that is fully functional as it is concurrently serving other devices (smartphones) .Bottom line if you want it as a usb printer then OK. for networking it's a piece of junk

Paper feed creased paper as it went through the print process and refused to work at times. They had other printers that you could load from the top as well as the bottom tray and worked very well.

Великолепно

I could not review this earlier as I was still using the Canon cartridges that came with the computer. Having now installed 4 of the 5 cartridges and can only say I am delighted. So much money saved and apparently no difference to the quality of prints. I will certainly purchase these again in future

we have used the iP range in our studio for a while now. All great. simple, work fine.
print heads have died on both of the iP4950 we have been using for a year, both the same week so we needed a new one fast.
Only iP printer available now is this.
Easy to install.
But we work in Photoshop and this iP7250 now has 'borders' on all prints. What that mneans is all of our artworks/ photos are slightly shrunk and have a border around them.
We don't want that we want a full out print.
Select borderless printing. Wow The border goes. But it goes because they have enlarged the photo. So I lose 5mm around the edge of my artwork.
I don't want a border or a stretched photo.
I have spent 1.5hrs testing all of the settings for borderless and 'fit to page'
I have spent ages on the phone to Canon support.
So far no one can say how to switch the border off and just print what I have on screen. Both have said they'll ring back. neither have.
Canon recommended installing 'My Image Garden' which comes on the disc. Great if we wanted to make my photos into collages or calendars. I don't I have photoshop and just want a simple thing.
To print what i have on my screen.
if it's not fixed soon this one is up for sale with two sets of inks.
If one of you knows where the 'switch off' button is, we'd love to know!

The Printer is big and heavy. The Ink Cartridges are tiny. Theres nothing in the spec that tells you that you have to load A4 then change to A3 if you want to print different size photos. Two hours to set it up is a joke....

Not too sure if I have a problem with my printer but it absolutely drinks ink. I thought I had on site warranty but Canon put me onto their 3rd party service centre who told me it was a back to base warranty. They were very helpful and had time to go through the issues and query how I was using the printer. They said I should leave it on standby all the time because I told them the warming up cycle (where the inks are shook up prior to use) was taking over 5 minutes.
Printing quality is excellent and its a very silent machine but I've nearly got through a complete set of inks after only printing 10 A4 prints and 4 A3 prints which to me sounds excessive ink consumption

Entirely as advertised. My MG 3250 printer didn't like it at first, but instructions were supplied on how to coax it into acceptance and they were both painless and successful. Only downside is that the cartridge arrived marinading in its own ink, which may be a delicacy in some parts of the world, but was a rather messy to install.

Perfect printer for me. I like the front loading and can use the top as extra space...they take up space so that is useful. It looks good. It is quite big but canon are surely the best printers around for the money.

I pondered long and hard over which A3 printer I should purchase and eventually decided on the PRO 100 as it was the least expensive of their top of the range printers. As I do not do a great deal of black and white photography the PRO 1 was excluded simply because of financial reasons, but the compromise is that I still get outstanding results from my prints. The PRO 10 may be more economical in the long run but I am only an enthusiastic amateur and the costs of these prints (and paper) are within my budget. All in all I am delighted with my purchase and look forward to many years of quality prints.

Appalling. Never, ever works properly. Had to use a pair of pliers to remove the jam this time. Wil have to buy a replacement. So that when I print something in a blue moon I don't have to fight the blasted thing. Canon sucks.

Cannot recommend this printer, it may work for some people, would not work for me.

This is my 3rd Pixma printer in about 15 years, I bought it because my first 2 were superb. Fast, quiet, economical.

But this iP7250 has given me numerous connectivity problems. It works on wifi ok when first installed and then immediately cannot be found on network. Error messages of printer unavailable, printer switched off. Spent a lot of time re-installing printer on 2 lap tops & tablet, but always ends up losing the connection. Doesn't even work on USB connection.

Canon support were helpful, but always the same old problem, the network loses the printer. Sending it back in total frustration.

Another complaint is the racket it makes preparing itself for action when you do finally successfully send a print job to the printer.
The eventual printout is good, if you can refrain from throwing the printer out the window first!

Very disappointed.

Took ages to set up, instructions made no sense so had to use google and a canon complaints forum to work it out. Paper jams every single time so end up printing in multiples of no more than five pieces of paper at a time. To top it off was delivered by yodel instead of royal mail so took a month to actually get it. Not impressed!

but high quality paper is important to maintain this

This printer has a very large footprint - 370 x 460mm - given that it's just a standard A4 inkjet. It spends 55-60 seconds cleaning heads etc before it starts printing. When it finally starts it's quick and the print quality is good. Setup was difficult and required a lot of time speaking to Canon helpline. It seems the WiFi sensitivity is low so it needs to be very close to the hub and PC to operate. 3metres is too far in this house! If set up for WiFi you can't easily change to USB connection. First you have to uninstall the drivers, then the printer, then re-install everything from the start using the CD supplied. I don't know why, but it won't print invoices from the Amazon website; it claims the printer is not connected. So I have to cut and paste into Word, when it will print. This printer was purchased to replace a Canon IP 3600 which failed permanently after only using one set of ink cartridges. My next printer will be a different make.

Having used Epson printers in the past, I borrowed my sons Canon ip4300, i used it for some years and have worn it out. I now this Canon PIXMA iP7250 Colour Inkjet Printer and love it. I heartily recommend Canon printers and Canon cameras - I'm just disappointed that we in England can't make them and this good.

This is an impressive printer. It works very well on my home network and 'does what it is told', this was a pleasant surprise compared with my recent experiences of Epson and HP printers. The ability of the printer to produce CD/DVDs using the supplied gadget is something I have become used to having purchased several Canon printers in the past, the iP4000 and iP4950 most recently for home and business use. The Canon completely outperformed the HP Photosmart B210. Reviews in the PC/Apple magazines were encouraging, although I prefer printers which take the paper through without too much turning. My Ricoh printer at school follows a U-shaped path.

This printer is rubbish. Not a patch on my old Kodak.
its noisy, flimsy and temperamental. You insert the paper and without fail it will tell you that the paper tray is empty. I will never buy Canon again.

this printer is terrible and canon's help desk even worse - cartridges run out in no time at all - diagnostic functions are impenetrable - error messages equally so - build quality is zero.
i am going to cut my losses now and take this to the dump

Великолепно

The paper feed trays/cd tray are a bit plasticky and feel somewhat flimsy, and I feel that I need to be careful in handling them, but I guess this is a sign of the cheap plastic times we live in. That said the printer was easy to set up wirelessly and the printing is excellent. Printed cd's look terrific!

Not had it long or used it very much yet, so can not comment on reliability or longevity.

Ordered these cartridges and were given delivery one week later but arrived in four days. The parcel was well wrapped and safe. The cartridges are original Canon and work well. Would have no problem ordering again and would recommend to anyone.

Best printer that I have ever had for my photography.
One minor complaint is that user manual is on disk/on line and is far too big to download as it is 200+ pages. Would have been better if smaller or included with printer.

Infuriating! Useless! About to put it through a window. Connecting to wifi involved endless phone calls and downloads, canon even where at a loss to fix it. When connection was achieved it loses connection periodically so we can never know when it will work. Endless paper try's empty messages, when it's full, regardless of which paper is in. Have been trying to print out my son's one page of homework for two days now, to no avail. Worse printer I've ever had the misfortune to own

The printer arrived early this afternoon and was set up and working within half an hour to operating system Windows 8.1. It instantly detected my wireless router and connected to it. As this is an old house, we have a number of access points and were given the choice to connect to multiple or single points.
The software was installed without problem and a test page printed. The colour print is faultless and the black very clean and clear. It was easy to set up to another computer in a different room.
There are 5 separate ink cartridges with the black being larger than the rest. All are clearly labelled and colour coded to make fitting them in very simple.
The paper is placed flat inside the printer which means it doesn't curl at the edges - a problem with my older printer.
The printer was a little slow to start off but that isn't a problem in our circumstances.
Very happy with this purchase.

I previously had a Pixma 4500 for 7 years but had to get a replacement when it cost so much to repair the carriage belt. I chose the 7200 as it had the same resolution as the 4500, I didn't want WiFi and I have a good scanner. The printing is excellent. I have only given it 3 stars as I think the paper feed is ridiculous in comparison to the 4500. The noise is also annoying although one does get used to it. The software is useful for printing out 6x4 prints but otherwise for cards and calendars I use Ms Pub.

Do not buy this printer! The cartridges are ridiculously expensive and it gets through them quickly. It keeps getting paper jams by pulling in extra paper when it's finished printing, you clear one error and another pops up, it constantly goes through it's warm up even when you've not asked it to print and the heads are out of alignment and I cannot remedy it. I've not even had it working more than 4 months. Please note this is not a reflection or comment on the seller.

Wheezes and sputters to life, taking near 3 minutes to be ready; printing takes far longer than my old IP4200. Most important of all, the wireless connection rarely works. Have to reboot and/or plug directly in. What's the point of having a wireless printer if you have to plug the laptop in?

MAJOR disappointment, Canon.
