This is one the the best printers that I have ever owned and I have owned many. What can I tell you, all of the pros, cons, and graet features have already been covered by other reviewers. Buy it!!! and you will see that the very high user rating here on amazon is quite accurate.

I've owned several HP printers and had the impression that "this is what to expect from a printer". On the advice of my techie son I went with the Canon this time and am I glad I did. I read all the reviews and the only negative I picked up on was griping about having to install the print head. Nothing to it. The setup was a snap. The first thing I did was print a photo, another piece of cake. Scanning is automatic. I've used it for about a month and had no paper feed problems, no jams.My only tiny gripe is that the setup puts about six icons on the desktop. Could we just put those in a folder ...hey I can do that. It is slow to warm up after no use for a while, doesn't bother me, I'm retired. Best quality, best performance and best price of any I've owned.

i was able to set-up my wireless printer and it took me awhile because i'm not really that good in computer. the good thing is that i was able to use it. the printer arrived this pm and after 30 minutes to an hour i was able to test it. and for me its perfect...luv it..

I needed a new and more efficient all in one to use with a home network. My older Epson is still functional but is a pain to get paper to feed properly (Rx 500) as it has been since day 1. The new Canon was a breeze to set up in wireless mode, and I use it along with the older printer depending on the job. I have used it for about a month.

Sweet printer. WIFI scanning and printing on the pc and the mac. No USB cable required. Plus cool free iPhone app for WIFI photo printing from the iPhone.

Великолепно

I bought this printer as a replacement for a big and bulky HP all in one that was loud, slow and unreliable, not to mention not wireless. I was a little disappointed by the size of this printer only because it looked much smaller in all the photos. However it is still smaller than the HP and set up was a breeze even for someone like me who is not the most tech savvy knife in the drawer. The wireless works great and the printer is quiet and print speed is good for home use. The jury is still out on the economics of the print ink cartridges, but they seem small and OEM replacements seem quite expensive.

I ordered this printer for my high school daughter. We all are enjoying all of the features. The quality and speed are just fine. The printer is much smaller than comparable models and this is a bonus to us.

I use mostly black ink to print Docs. Printer does the job well. Good price, works like a charm. I have it connected to my wireless router and via usb to a desktop. Works equally well with both connections. I can't speak for it's color picture quality because I don't use that feature much.

First off, I want to warn everyone that this printer DOES NOT COME WITH A USB CABLE. I even contacted Canon directly and was told that these don't include the USB cable! What a crock--I had to buy a cable before I could even test it!Next, I finally got it going, and after all of the noise of the unit resetting itself several times it, finally, reliably prints out great and at a fast speed.So, this printer would have gotten 5 stars if it a) came with a USB cable; and b) doesn't have to reset itself so many times before printing the first page of each print. However, reading the reviews of other printers, these are the best you can find around the $50 mark for an all-in-one so I'm moderately happy with my purchase.

Just a cursory review after getting it set up a moment ago. Straightforward setup following the instructions. Wireless connectivity via Airport Extreme with my Windows 7 64-bit desktop and Snow Leopard MacBook without any problems. I've only tested wireless printing on both machines thus far. So far it simply works.

I used this printer for about 2 weeks and then it broke down. The paper would not load and enter into the unit; it would just make a poor attempt by just grabbing and wrinkling the paper but the paper would not enter the unit. I called Canon to troubleshoot and they said that it was defective and they just sent me another unit, upon receiving the refurbished unit that was sent to me, it worked approximately 1-week before experience the exact same problem. I refuse to contact Canon again, its not worth the headache.....instead, I am throwing this piece of junk away and will never purchase a Canon again, regardless of what the reviews state, that's how I got tricked into buying this one. Terrible and agonizing, absolutely ridiculous!

I've needed a printer for a very long time, but I was reluctant to purchase one, as I've been so disappointed in the past. This printer is so excellent, I wish I had purchased it much sooner than I did. In fact, my grandson bought one as he saw how wonderful mine worked and he loves his as much as I love mine. Glad I bought it!

Pros* holds 2 black ink cartridges* lights up INSIDE the printer when new ink is loaded properly. (INSIDE of the printer, this is definitely cool)* easy set up (took me a couple of minutes to realize I had to take the large orange plastic caps off of the ink).* USB cord or wifi compatible* smaller size than most printers* loads paper from the front (so you don't have to have paper hanging from the back of the printer)* looks awesome (chrome and shiny black)* scans well* user-friendlyoverall, it's the best printer I've ever owned! very happy with purchase.

Numerous problems. Cruddy Mac software; frequent errors trying to print wirelessly; won't scan (says "Preparing..." but never scans). Boy they screwed up this one.

Великолепно

I have no affiliation with Canon. Bot this printer because I HAD to have a wireless printer that was decent and it does not disappoint. I have Verizon Fios Internet and the printer easily connected with the router. It was easy to set up the other laptops in the house. The photo print quality is fine for my scrapbook needs. The flatbed copier is just what I needed. Everything about the printer is easy / intuitive. Highly recommend.

The printer and copier is okay but the scanner is not great. The on printer interface (copier & scanner) requires at least three screens for any function request. I'm going back to HP photosmart which is more streamlined and intuitive. To be fair the photos and prints are decent for the price.

Cheap printer and a lot of bang for the buck. Easy to set up and the wireless function is flawless. Very good quality but it's relatively noisy and pretty slow. Still, since I don't do much printing, I'm happy with my purchase.

I like the way this printer prints and scans and copies in black and white, but don't use it for color. Unless the color cartridge is brand new, you'll get a washed out picture. Most every thing I print is color, so this was a bad choice for me. The only that makes me feel better is I only paid about what it costs to get new ink. I'll be dumping it soon!

While this printer has good features and is a nice package, it absolutely guzzles ink. It is so bad that after having it a couple of months, I am ready to toss it out and buy a different printer that does not run me broke with ink cartridges!

Великолепно

Canon does it again. This is a fantastic unit for a home office. Print quality is excellent and the 600 dpi scanner works like a charm. Setup was easy, it found my wireless network right away. I love that I can place this unit anywhere I have power rather than tethering it to my PC. Canon inks are reasonably priced too, you can get the 5 cartidge set for just north of $40 at Costco.

I have had two other Canon printers before this one, and have been very happy with each of them! This printer continues my satisfaction with this brand! It can do so may different things, and the wifi printing ability is great! The picture quality when printing pictures is amazing! And, as always, I truly appreciate the fact that Canon offers printers with separate ink cartridges for each color! Makes it economical to use this printer! I would highly recommend this printer!

I had the Canon MP390 FOREVER! It was a great printer, but a small plastic piece broke on it, and I couldnt fix it, so I finally bought a new printer and this Canon is great too! You can buy the ink at SIMPLYINK online. You can get 12 cartridges for $58 on sale. These printers do use ink rather quickly, but when the cartridges are between $4-$5 its not bad at all! Highly recommended, Im sure it will last as long as my other Canon all-in-one.

For my application, this printer has good utility. I sell on eBay and need a good scanner and printer which this product posesses. I do not want wires running everywhere so I like the wireless feature also. The by-pass tray is a plus becauce I can use it to print envelopes. Like all ink-jet printers, the cost of the ink is inflated. I don't know why they just don't give us the printers because they make so much on the ink.

The iP2702 Printer is an excellent Photo Printer at the price. The photos are professional looking. Canon has always been a very good product. It is very easy to set up and use. I would recommend it to any one.

I recommend this printer. Has almost everything that I want and is compact! Great features with duplexing. Scans and prints nicely (haven't used the faxed yet). Only one Con: (maybe I haven't figured it out yet) I can't feed multiple documents to "Scan" and have to put each document on the flat bed. Again, not sure if I am missing something. So, if this is important to you, just check into it. I am still pleased with my purchase and hope I am mistaken with the Scan issue.

This is a great printer. So easy to set up it pretty much does it all by itself with a few clicks from you. We purchased this to replace our HP photosmart. We are so pleased it prints easy great quality pictures. It is quite large though. Also we did find it $10 cheaper at Wal-Mart a few days later but all in all we'd buy it again and we reccommend it!

The printer met all my needs. The wireless set-up easily and I can print from my mac, pc, and netbook.I have 3 main complaints: the software isn't great, the printer is just a bit slow to start printing, and it's not at all small or light.But everything works really well. It copies well, it scans well, the screen is crisp, and it found my internet right away.

This printer was look great and easy to set up, etc. However, the ink usage was sadly inefficient. One brand new XL size ink did not last me more than 3 weeks. I was getting a lot of fax but my other old fax's ink went at least 3 to 5 months. I was so disappointed with this printer so I got rid of this eventhough I only used for less than 2 months. This printer also has memory but this is so small that it was not that useful.

I have nothing bad to say about this printer. It meets all the expectations set by the advertisement. It does the same amount of work as one of the larger all-in-ones in a much smaller package, so I don't know why you WOULDN'T want this model instead.

When I got the printer I simply inserted the CD in my Laptop, plug the printer into a outlet which even gave me step by step instructions on the printer's screen it's self. Connected the wifi of the printer to my network then to my laptop. . . Done. Print's very nicely, pictures are good and the futures are better. I would recommend this for anyone.

Prints high quality photos,scans quickly, and has tons of wonderful functions that I thought was only found in the more expensive printers! Can honestly recommend this Cannon PixmaMP560!!!!

Although I haven't used it much yet, I am very impressed with this printer thus far. The wireless set-up was very easy and I was up and running inside of twenty minutes. I'm switching from an HP specifically for the wireless capability; I didn't go with the wireless HP because I wasn't completely satisfied with the one that I have. For the ease of use and all of the available features, you just can't beat it for the money.

This wireless printer is excellent so far. It was very easy to set up, including setup of the wireless features. I also really like that the software is installed on the printer itself. I've scanned pictures and documents, as well as used it as a copier, and have liked all the features. The price was great as well. Overall, I like it much better than the HP all-in-ones that I've owned.

This printer works well. There was one point in the setup on opening the carriage for cartridge installation that was confusing but a call to customer support was answered in a minute. They provided help completing the install.

The problem with these reviews are that they send them to be filled out before you have a chance to see how the item will perform in a few months. Regardless, it seems to work really well. I just can't seem to figure out how to set it up for the double sided printing, which was one of the reasons I bought it. I really like how you can close up the entire thing when not in use so it becomes this closed shell. No dust gets in it that way, so imagine that's good for the long run. I'm happy I got this one :)

I found this printer to be just an awesome printer. it installed so easy , and works with the network, fast and good prints too unless doing duplex. I dont mind that tho, as I do a newsletter and really appreciate the duplex feature.I have the Canon 9000 Professional Photo Printer which I paid much more for, yet I would say these photos rival the clarity of that for only a portion of the price. I thought I would use this one for mostly printing in B&W, yet I find myself doing color photos as well.

This is the best photo printer I have used to date. It has great picture quality, scaner works great, WIFI, and I really like that it will print duplex it helps to save paper. It prints 4x6 photos in about 30 seconds and an 8x10 in a little over a minute. I highly recomend purchasing Canon's Pro Platnum photo paper if you think you will print photos it makes the best looking photos I've seen. This is a great printer for the money. Seting up the printer on WIFI was a little complicated but once it is set up it works great.

This printer produces excellent results with photos. I sought this printer out because of the cheap, generic cartridges that are available for it. I print a lot of photos and this is a cheap way to accomplish the task.The printer is easy to set up, relatively quiet and very economical to operate. Chipless printer cartridges are a non-entity nowadays. Hence the need to get an older printer that used that technology. This printer will not disappoint. No downside in my opinion.

It seems as though many people have had luck with this printer, I guess I was one of the unlucky ones.In approximately a month after purchase, there was a plastic grinding noise that really didn't affect the print quality, but was extremely loud; others have had this problem, I found.After about a year of dealing with that obnoxious noise, I was repeatedly told that one of my ink tanks was installed incorrectly (XP told me that there were two Cyan cartridges installed). This affected any functionality that the printer had, and I could not use it for anything. If you're wondering, I purchased Canon brand cartridges and did not attempt to refill them, they just did not work anymore.Now, the printer is a gigantic obstacle on my desk, and if I feel like tinkering and poking and prodding at things for about an hour I might be able to get it to print one page. It is effectively worthless after swallowing nearly $300.My opinion, it sounds like a number of people have had great results with this printer, but there have been a lot of negative reviews all around the net. If you have something else in mind, I would probably recommend thinking twice before picking this up. You might get one of the good ones, or you might end up like me: taking satisfaction that you got to type out some frustrations which like 5 people might read.

My third printer. My i9900 finally died. While I don't expect this printer to compare in the print quality, and honestly, i haven't printed pictures yet, the normal printing is just fine. The wireless setup was so easy!!! [my old printer was on an apple airport using bonjour and my dell 948 was such a pain to set up wirelessly.] This just worked. I connected it to 2 computers in minutes - no hick-ups!!The scanning wirelessly works so well. Makes me really realize what a piece of cr@P the dell 948 was!!! I could NEVER get that thing to work. And, this scans fast.I've only had it a few days - I'll try to print on photo paper and see how it does. but so far, I'm very pleased!

This is an excellent printer. Plenty of printing options and ink savers. Perfect for the SOHO. I have yet to try photo printing but any web image I've printed is a clear and representative copy of the image. Best of all, unlike the Epson this replaced, you can continue to print even if one of the ink cartridges is empty.
