I could not have asked for more in performance, speed and overall ease of use out of a multi-function machine. Not only does the build quality feel sturdy, it gives the impression that it is built to last unlike other all in one printers I have owned in the past. Set up is a bit confusing if you read their quick set up guide, but once you earn your degree in Canon engineering, it's a snap. Functional performance of the unit has been great, the black printing is lightning fast and color presentations and photo prints come out beautifully. Ink usage is moderate so far, not quite as good as I had hoped, but acceptable. Scanning and fax work great, with the fax features being one of it's best attributes if you are using this for business. The only down side that this has, is that using the provided CDROM to install the software, caused quite a bit of headaches on all the Windows Vista machines. For some reason the software hijacks the Wifi signal of the laptops running that OS and prevent them from connecting to the internet at all until you fully uninstall the software. After downloading the basic drivers and features from Canons website, that problem was resolved.Pros: Fast printing, professional results on presentations and photo printing, built durable yet it's lightweight, simple to use with multiple computers at the same time, decent ink usage.Cons: Included software has issues with Windows Vista, you will need to download the software from Canon to correct this problem.**UPDATE 10-05-2012** Well it lasted all of two years and one month before finally ceasing to work for good. It had been repaired twice prior with paper issues being the biggest problem (not taking paper in). The rollers were replaced and it would work fine for about 200 or so uses before the rollers were again worn out. Being two years old now it's kind of moot to say all of this, but since it is still available on the market (as of posting this), I thought I would update this review with the length of time it lasted and problems that were had. Beyond that, once I upgraded all my computers to Windows 7, the aforementioned issues with the manufacturers software drivers went away.

I have owned an MX850 and MX860, and did a side-by-side comparison with an MX350, so I was positive that the MS340 was the absolute bargain basement type of AIO available. But to my surprise, Canon packs a lot of features and quality in to such a low price.As it turns out, the MX340 and MX350 are so similar (almost identical, in fact), that just about everything I had to say about the MX350 applies here.With the previous experience, setting up the MX340 to work on my home network was pretty straightforward. I'm using three Macs and a Windows 7 machine in my house, and anticipated that Canon would put ancient drivers on their installation disc. Not willing to chance it, I downloaded the latest software from Canon's site, and was on my way in a matter of minutes.If you're planning to skip the disc, and use a Mac, you'll want to install the IJ Network Tool first, to reduce frustration. From there, go with the driver, and then the MP Navigator software. Trust me, you'll skip a lot of frustration this way, if you're not using the disc.As expected, the text output was "cheap laser" quality, if not a touch better. Scanning was surprisingly quick, for text and simple graphics. Not surprisingly, doing any sort of higher-res photo scanning is on the slow side, though the image quality is better than acceptable for most home users. Printing out photos produced better than expected results, though not without some edge bleeding even on decent-quality paper.One thing you may be contemplating is whether to go with the MX350 or Canon PIXMA MX340. If you're trying to decide between the two, here's the only difference I found after a side-by-side comparison: the MS340 doesn't have an LCD screen.What's the LCD screen worth? That really depends. If you're planning on connecting your camera directly to the MX340, it definitely makes it easier to find your pictures on the color LCD that's on the higher-prices MX350 (assuming your camera isn't capable of displaying the pictures when connected to a PictBridge-capable device). On faxing and scanning, the on-screen instructions on the MX350 can also be helpful to less technical users. That's not to say that the display on the MX340 is lacking, though. The display on the MX340 is easy to use if you aren't expecting illustrations.Ultimately though, they're both solid printers that are a steal if you're going to use the scanner and / or fax.

I've had this printer for a little over a week now, and I can say that I'm fairly pleased with it. We just got rid of a Brother MFC-665CW printer/scanner/copier/fax that finally gave up the ghost. The price for the Canon PRIXMA MX-340 at $79.99 was awesome, twenty dollars less than the big box retailers are selling it for...and free shipping, too! I've never had a Canon printer before, and I liked the idea that it just used one black and one color cartridge at a time...not four, as the Brother printer did. This Canon printer was easy to set up (took me all of 15 minutes), even though the manual layout leaves something to be desired. I also didn't know the paper feed was at the top back of the printer, which makes it hard for me to set it up under in the space under the window in our home office. But that's a minor "con". We predominately print black and white copies, and this thing is SUPER FAST when it comes to printing text. I've noticed less than five seconds to print an entire page! I haven't gotten too much into the software yet, but it wouldn't let me register the product from the software when I installed it, which I thought it was supposed to let me do. And the monochrome LCD readout on the printer is a little hard to read and understand the terminology on it if you didn't install it yourself. Plus, you have to have the front door on the printer opened if you don't want a paper jam while printing. Hence the four out of five stars rating I gave this product. Other than the manual being somewhat hard to understand, the LCD and door issue, and the software being a bit "wonky", this is a great product.

I have been using this printer for a year. The price has gone up by a lot... It was around 80 bucks when I bought it. This printer definitely isn't worth any more than that.Cons:Scanner is not good for picturesCheap built quality, all plasticSoftware is not goodCheap design, paper sticks out in the airBulkyPros:Good for price (80bucks back then)I only needed something to print documents and this does that no problems.I was looking for the cheapest temporary printer. I didn't expect this printer to last long-term and this fits what I was looking for.If you are looking for a good quality printer that settles in your home, I do not recommend this. However, if you just need something to print then this is for you.

General: The Canon Pixma iX6520 Inkjet Printer seems to be everything it's supposed to be - so far - and is a lot faster than expected. I was looking for a color printer that I did not have to use several times a week to keep the cartridges from drying up. So far, so good, but I will do an update in a few months.Installation: When you get to the "Line up the print heads" part of installation, it takes forever. You can hear the roller turn and turn and turn some more, but the paper never drops so it isn't pulled through to the print heads. At this point take a 5 minute break - yes it says 3 minutes but mine took 5 minutes - and when you come back it will have lined up the heads and printed. The rest of installation is easy if you closely follow the instructions (pull out the tray where the paper ends up before printing and connect the cable to the printer at the correct time). After set up, the paper drops down just like expected and everything works very well.

I have bought nothing but canon printers for many years and was pleased with this mp560 until it gave me the b200 error.....While it worked it did a good job.........What this error seems to mean is the printhead is dead, 1 year old and the printhead (seems to me anyway) designed to die. Not only does the printer die, the scanner also dies.... SO I have a big silver and black paperweight....I cannot see how this couldn't be by design, are we to the point that a printer only last one year........So now I have to buy some other brand of printer, I can't see buying another canon if this is what to expect.....

I purchased this printer from Amazon about a month ago. It arrived, and I had it unpacked and connected to my wireless network in about 5 minutes. The installation of drivers was easy and painless. I have a multi-OS environment, and getting connected via OS X and Windows 7 was equally easy.The bundled software is a little slow to load, but I have lots of applications I prefer to use, so I often skip the vendor-supplied programs. They do have a nice suite of programs, however. I print a lot of pictures, and the speed with which this printer handled 8.5x11" prints was quite satisfactory. The print quality was great.So far, I haven't had one issue. Printing is fast and easy. The printer handled a variety of paper sizes (none greater than 8.5x11, I believe), and pictures printed on glossy paper dry immediately.I was very pleased with what I got right out of the box, and with how easily it installed. Just be sure to follow the instructions.

I consistently come back to Canon, as they rarely let me down. I needed something for the occasional print and scan and this is perfect. I never fax (only e-fax). The printer prints quickly (I don't print extremely long documents, just a few pages here and there) and sharply. The scanner works quite well and fairly quickly; the document feeder is great. Unlike many printers I've had in the past, the ink doesn't seem to dry out quickly, so I end up using the same cartridge for quite a long time.If you are the casual home office user, need to print occasionally and scan some documents here and there, you can't really beat the price and functionality. Even for the casual home user who needs to scan a picture here and there, it's quite good.

Former HP printer customer, I received this "printer" and taking it out the box was unimpressed by the cheap plastic quality. Guess you get what you pay for. I think they make them cheap so they need to be replaced often. Set up was okay, not great, have to work hard to find the English instructions. Once I got it plugged in, set up and ran through the alignment process it didn't work. Error messages. The bit of print it did spit out was pale and SLOOOOW! Spent an hour on the phone with tech support and they couldn't troubleshoot it so they're sending a replacement...in 5-7 days. Too bad I already gave my old HP to a friend. Now I'm printer/scanless for a full week. That's bad business IMHO. At the end of the day, once I get the new one I may just return it to Amazon as I'm so totally not impressed with this printer. I wonder what so many reviewers saw in it. It's cheap, clunky, heavy and large. Not the sleek, efficient office machine that I expected.

Purchased this product. This model seems to use up ink very fast and 99% of time only use black and I think is high on price compared to my other Cannon printer/copyier and the colored cartridges are drying up. My husband and I hooked this up to our phone for the using the fax. Took some time to do. A year and half later still have problems reading info on operation of unit. It will do till it dies. Next purchase I will check out purchase of ink cartridges before I purchase.

After upgrading to a Windows 7 - 64bit PC, I found that both my old Lexmark printer and Canon scanner were not compatible with the new OS.Researching this Canon MP560 unit, there was conflicting info about it's compatibility with Windows 7, 64 bit, but I decided to take a chance since Canon did have drivers for 64 bit Win-7 OS posted.I am happy report that using the driver and MP-Navigator software download from the Canon website, without using the software disk that came with the unit, I had a very easy and trouble-free installation of this MP560 on my Windows 7-64 system. Printing and scanning are working extremely well, much better and faster than my old printer and copier. Printing is very fast and copies are crisp and sharp.Some information that may be helpful to others, since I could not confirm all these things by reading reviews before I made my purchase:1. It works perfectly with Windows 7, 64 bit machines if you use the appropriate drivers/software downloaded from the Canon website.2. Scanning resolution is available in 75, 150, 300, 600 and 1200 dpi. Some of these choices only show up if you switch to the "Advanced Mode" tab of the twain driver screen, but they are all available and the scanner will scan at 1200dpi resolution. On the box, it claims the scanner has a 2400dpi x 4800dpi scan capability, but I could not access anything higher than 1200dpi on any software. Perhaps this is a deficiency in the Win-7 driver/software, but the limit of 1200dpi is more than I need. Users hoping for the advertised 2400 x 4800 dpi may have to contact Canon to figure out how to actually get that advertised resolution.3. The lid does lift up past the 90 degree angle, and is even removable. I needed this feature to be able to place tall boxes on the scanner bed to scan the labels. Many other scanners, including many of the other Canon Pixma line, can only open the lid about 70 degrees before they stop, and are not removable because they have controls in the lid. This one has the controls on the side flip-up compartment, allowing the lid to raise up fully, or be removed altogether if you need it.4. When setting up the wireless network, the initial setup has to use the DHCP of your router to get an initial IP address. Once that is done, and it is communicating, you can reset the IP to a static IP address using any web browser to go to the printer's IP address, where you can change several settings, including the network IP. The "Canon IJ Network Tool" software utility also gives you this capability.So far, I have found it to be a great printer/scanner and well worth the price. It is clever enough to open the front output tray if you forget to do it when making a copy or printing. The dual paper feed (rear feeder or bottom tray) is a nice bonus.It is still new, so I can't speak to reliability or ink usage, but so far I am extremely pleased with the performance, as well as the ease of setup.

I've owned something like 20 printers in my life and used many more in the context of work environments. The Canon MX340 has terrible ink economy - right up there with the worst I have ever seen. It's so bad that it makes irrelevant all the other wonderful features that make this printer a breeze to use and a true pleasure to operate. There's no damn excuse for such lousy ink performance. It's obvious that Canon planned to make the balance of their money from ink sales, not the printer. All companies are like this today. That is to be expected. But this unit is horrible.In most other respects, this is a nice printer. I'll let the other reviews stand when it comes to the discussion of features, etc. But the total count of a four star average posted by most here is not justified. People that have posted have not owned the printer long enough to know what the ink performance is like.Canon, I can't believe you'd risk screwing up your brand equity with performance like this. I for one will never buy another printer from Canon unless I get direct confirmation that that unit doesn't share the lousy ink performance of the MX340

This is a great printer. I am liking the wireless. One of the best things is the two sided printing. It used to drive me nuts when printing from the internet I would always get a second page with one word on it. Now I just get one page. For the most part it looks good. Not sure why they use such shiny plastic because it shows finger prints.

This is a GREAT little printer. I've had it about a year now and it does everything I need it to do for my small business and personal use. The ink is easy to come by, lots of sources that offer great prices. I had a Canon laser printer that lasted 13 years with NO problems and very affordable toner cartridges. After that for some reason I bought an HP multi-function machine. BIG mistake--expensive ink, software problems that could never be resolved....it was always something. After a year I replaced the HP with this Pixma. Easy to set up, scans fast, prints fast, copies fast. And I got it from Amazon at a great price. Oh, I know there are faster printers, but you have to add in the time you save in not having to troubleshoot. This one has saved me hours and hours! Someone donated an old fax machine--I seldom need a fax machine and always had trouble with the one on the HP. The Pixma doesn't have a fax, but that's it's only drawback. For the price, I certainly can't complain and now I have all the functions that horrid HP failed to offer. I use this little Pixma for everything. You will LOVE it. It will likely save you a lot of time, frustration, and MONEY!

This printer works great. We've used it for photos, as a workhorse, copying, and the scanning functions. I've owned a lot of printers and used to only buy HP. Ironically, I've always had some type of issue with an HP. However, I've had this printer for 2 years now and not one problem or issue. The wireless function works great and have not have any problems with connectivity.

just got the printer today. it's nice and lite and doesn't take up too much space of the already crammed dorm room.printed out some photos and came out nicely.ink is reasonably priced.i'd say this was a pretty good purchase.i did read alot of comments about it being loud, but maybe it's bc im used to the loudness of my dell printer back at home, it's not that loud.

I just got this and there was no issue setting it up. My computer found it and through plug and play (through my wireless network) installed the drivers. Then used the cd to install the various programs. Id say about 10-15 minutes to set it all up. Its great to be able to scan and have the image sent to me over my Wifi. I have not had it long enough to report on the ink consumption, so ill leave that alone. I will say that this is the quietest printer that i have ever experienced. Probably not the fastest but thus far the quality of its work and ease of use makes it number 1 in my book!

It has done what we want it to do so far. Set-up was easy. So far, using it has been as easy as putting in the paper and pressing print, or pressing Copy to make photo copies. So far, my experience with it has been positive.It's a little bulky, so make sure that you have some room near your computer where you can set it.

This has to be the loudest, noisiest printer I have ever owned. OMG, if someone is sleeping in the room, forget it. You're going to wake them up and maybe the neighbors too. Gosh, I cannot understand why this printer needs to clack, wump, whine, clacker, etc. The range of sounds is baffling. Don't get this printer unless it's really cheap, it is very annoying. It functions fine, nothing special, it's just a printer, but if I knew how noisy it was, I would not have gotten it.

Just got mine a few days ago, its big for a home printer but the fact that its a scanner/copier/fax/printer makes up for it. The design looks very attractive as well.I bought it due to the WiFi capability which allows any computer on the network to print on it. Setup manual was long and not the easiest to follow, but I am a tech guy so most of the stuff comes naturally...the built in menu system is actually quite easy to use, it even gives you some direction (diagrams) on the screen to guide you through the mechanical setup. I had some issues initially with the WiFi setup where the printer can't connect after I choose the network and entered the passphrase. I am not sure if that has something to do with the WPA2 personal security setting. But my router and the printer supports using a PIN mode (where printer generates PIN and I enter into my router and it auto connects after scanning for a while) so it turned out ok.I can't comment on performance because I am not a big printer guy...I only tested out that it prints letter straight and pictures has color with decent resolution. The flatbed scanner also scans well. Self feeding copier is slow compared to the commercial ones you use...but can't complain for a $50 unit.Overall, I bought the printer/scanner for the convenience of being to print some stuff at home when I need + use it with any computer on the network. But if you are looking for quality prints/pictures...this might not be the right model for you.

As I write this review, I'm waiting for this printer to print. I'm sure I did something wrong in the setup, although I have no idea what, and have worked hard to correct the problem. I'm used to buying printers, and with very little hassle, they...print. Not this one. You click on "print," and it may print. Usually it doesn't. More likely, you'll get prompts telling you there's an error (that you can't figure out). Then, if you ignore the prompt, the thing may eventually print. Maybe.I read the reviews and decided this a good buy among many highly-rated printers. In retrospect, I would buy something else, and there are plenty to choose from.

Unfortunately I am not thrilled with this printer. I usually buy HP printers but was impressed with the reviews for this printer. I only use wireless printing and I've found that setting up this printer wirelessly was problematic. It took a few tries and now it works occasionally but I've found that I can't count on it and have had to resort to connecting via USB when I was in a crunch to get something printed. A friend was over at the house with her laptop(with Vista) and she was never able to get it to work. Also, the printer is quite large and takes up a lot of desk space. This product just wasn't the right one for me so I'm going to donate it and pick a different printer.

I wanted an all-in-one printer to replace a scanner, an older, huge laser printer and a color inkjet. I reviewed dozens of printers but kept coming back to the Canon Pixma MX882. So far I'm very happy with it. It flawlessly connects wirelessly to our computers. All the functions work very well, and there's a pretty decent OCR utility bundled with the driver disc. I'm wondering how long the relatively small ink cartridges will last, but in a way their size may be an advantage. On other printers I've had ink dry out or get clogged up on me before I could use it up. I got a good price on the printer through Amazon (my go-to place), and I would recommend it to anybody.

This is a review written after 3 years of ownership. This printer is an over priced piece of garbage. I've owned 3 of them. Canon replaced it several times under warranty. I print very rarely and the printer is used on the desktop and never moved. Every time I needed to actually use the printer (once a month) it was clogged or the ink had dried up. 30 minutes needed to be spent hooking it directly to a computer to perform maintenance and figure out what was wrong. Finally, last night when I really needed it, the black print head died all together. I took the thing out and washed it by hand with alcohol and water. Scrubbed it raw. Pleaded with it. Screamed at it. It still wouldn't print black. I have a $250 brick sitting in my cabinet now. My next print with cost a lot less and have lasers in it and no clogging parts. Canon can kiss my print head.

My family was in need of a All-In-One for occasional home use. We do not print a large volume, but every now and then we needed to print out directions, a recipe, online forms, etc. I did a little research and went with the Canon Pixma MX340. Had a 4+ rating and the price was very reasonable. I also picked this one because it is a Canon as is my wife's camera so I figured the ease of use for AirPrint type features would be compatible, which it is.The main negative point in all the reviews I read were in regards to the setup and installation. I did not find it very difficult at all. I used the CD that was included to download the software,drivers and manual and then I just used the menu and settings buttons on the front of the printer to setup my LAN access. Way easier than I had thought it would be based on the reviews I read. I would say it took 30 minutes from the time I opened up the box, unpacked the unit, downloaded the software, and connected to my network. Then I was up and running for general printing and scanning. I have since tweaked a few settings on the unit and messed around with printing photos and different scanning methods and it works great for our family.It is a little loud and when you send something to print and makes some noise while it's preparing for print and the print speed is faily slow, but the print quality is great. If you need something that is easy to setup and you don't do a large volume of printing, this is a great printer. I would recommend to my friends and family.

My 14 year old set this up easily and the machine looks good but it will only hold about 4 pieces of paper -- if we put in more, it doesn't print. And even with 4 pieces, it keeps telling us there is no paper in the machine. when the printing does work (about half of the time), it looks good but when we tried to copy something, it only works about 1/2 of the time. I'm going to buy an HP...

Bought this one for home use. Setting it up on the WiFi network was easy (carefully following the manual). The included ink lasted 4 months, I guess we don't print much. Printing photos and docs, scanning and copying works well. The WiFi capability is great - just drop the printer somewhere, plug in the power and print from any of the laptops, wherever they happen to be. Really convenient. Haven't had a need for the USB cable yet.

I purchased this printer after using HP printers for the last decade. So far, I've been very satisfied and would highly recommend buying this printer. It's very easy to setup and printing wirelessly from multiple computers works great (including scanning wirelessly). The colors are much more vibrant than any other HP printer I've used in the past. If you're looking for a solid business printer for printing photos and documents, look no further.

The machine is a great upgrade to prior pixmas, although slower on volume work. I use aftermarket ink and as long as the machine is used regularly, like once every couple of days, the ink works great. When you factor in the low price from Amazon and aftermarket ink, I'm confident that this is the lowest cost way to acceptable color volume printing. I'm doing as much as 200 color prints a day, (not photos) and can assemble color prints for pennies not 30 cents apiece.Yeah I know the drill about voiding the warranty, but I have had four pixmas doing volume for years, and the first one finally dried up and I can't use it any more. My fault, I let it sit for two weeks without printing.It would be nice if Canon could use a native English speaker to write the manuals. I was quite impressed with this printer when I first received it. It had all the features I was looking for and the setup was easy. I was able to connect it to my home network within a minute or two and that was it. About 3 weeks after receiving it I was trying to print something from one of my laptops and the document was sitting in the print queue going nowhere.I went down and checked the printer and it was powered off. I checked the power cord and tried to turn it back on but it was deader than a doornail. I just returned it. I will stick with my old HP for now because at least it works.

There are so many great things to say about this printer.1. Wireless set up a snap. It took me 45 minutes to set up two computers with the printer and that included unpacking the printer and loading in the ink. It found my network easily.2. The feeder not only works with copying but scanning too.3. It automatically became my default printer and has no Windows Vista or Windows 7 issues.4. The buttons on the top are big, easy to use and see.5. It fits nicely on a small printer stand and the document tray is substantial, not flimsy. I actually close it when I am not using it.6. The user can press black or color and that starts the printing. It does not have a default color mode.7. It compresses PDF files that are scanned better than my Lexmark.Two small cons:1. The feeder holds only 30-50 sheets. A tray for a ream would have been nice.2.I still have not figured out how to set up two-sided printing. It is not in the printer settings BUT the box had a manual with it-yet to read. Most electronics have the manuals only on a disk, which this had too, or online. The printed manual is an added bonus these days.All in all if you are looking at this printer or the Epson Workforce 840, buy this. More bang for the buck. The Epson has a tray for a ream of paper but in all other categories it pales in comparison.

I ordered the i320 Canon printer because I used one for 7 years till it quit feeding paper. The 1st one I ordered was re-furbished and would not feed the paper The seller gave me my money back and did not want the printer returned as they had another one & tested it & it did not feed paper either.So I ordered a 2nd i320 from another seller that was brand new & cost way too much. It arrived still in it's original box and packing, removed all packing set it up and paper would not feed. I contacted seller they do not want to refund my money. I checked with Canon and they said these printers are no longer fixable & they sent me a 20% off coupon.I am in Canada and had to pay shipping even though it was advertised as free shipping plus $68.00 for duty fees. I can not afford to send it back. The company is The Quick Ship Warehouse.

I waited about a month and 1/2 for this printer to become available after its release earlier this year. I purchased the printer at Staples for 199.00, but returned my 'old' one and received a 50.00 rebate, so my net cost was 149.00 for this product. I found the 3" LCD very easy to read and also very user friendly, as it takes you step by step while installing the printer to your network for the first time. It took about 30 minutes from out of the box, to fully function properly. I was torn between purchasing a laser vs an ink jet, but determined my needs were better suited for an inkjet and I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the pictures I created via the printer. The colors were amazing! I will upload a sample shortly. I found the wireless connection which allows me to print wirelessly without having to connect using a cable from the computer was awesome, as my wife usually works on her laptop, and this is great feature! The Canon MX882 operates with five ink cartridges; so when one specific color runs out, you just need to replace that one cartridge and not the entire array. I also noticed Canon installs easily to reach 'shortcuts' on your pc to easily manage your function for your printer. The scanner worked well, as I was quikly able to scan an old 4x6 photo and upload it to my pc for easy sharing. You can also scan to e-mail as it will open up your e-mail and attach a scan to a new message. In a nutshell, very, very user friendly and the quality of the prints were great.

Right out of the box, the printer could not be set up because of a C000 printer error. I called Canon who, surprisingly told me that they would only replace it with a refurbished unit. Of course, I declined.Since I bought it new, and I really like Canon products generally, I will ask for a replacement and give it one more shot. Fortunately, Amazon will replace it with a new printer and not a refurbished one.I will update this review once I have received my replacement from Amazon.Update: 7/25/11. I received the replacement unit. This time set-up went pretty smoothly. The app manual was a little hard to navigate, but I must say there were lots of settings that could be useful, with options to double fax number entry (to prevent misdialed faxes), prevent paper abrasion, reject faxes from specific numbers or types of caller ID, a quiet mode for nighttime printing/faxing, mobile phone printing etc. The network setup was smooth with the only glitch being the computer's date/time settings were not automatically transferred.

So far so good with regular (to be expected) features. Setup quite easy. But I am really brassed off that the box features "mobile printing" but no actually useful mobile print capacity. I'm thinking of returning it on principle.

Великолепно

Loved the first one (MP 460) which was damaged by the Movers in recent relocation. Bought the newer one as replacement. Have not used the wireless function, but set up and running are simple and reliable so far!! Purchased this model as it uses only two cartridges and I didn't want to mess with four-five-or six cartridge models.Amazon price was better than anything local, including shipping.

Великолепно

I've had this printer for awhile now. I used it to compile a photo album (over 100 pictures) and the print quality was great. I do not have an issue with paper jams, and changing the ink is easy. This printer takes Cannon 210 and 211 ink cartridges, if you wanted to buy replacements with this printer. The scanner/copier is good quality and I have not had any issues in the time I've had it.

Великолепно

This printer meets all our families needs and it does so wonderfully. We have had not 1 issue during the month that we have been using it, and I don't expect to either. The Canon Pixma series is great and should meet the needs of any family. My wife loves that she can print from any room in the house with multiple devices(especially her cell phone)using the wireless function. With two kids crawling around, you don't necessarily want them in the office, but with the wireless feature she doesn't have to go near the office.

The first one I got wasn't created properly and never worked. Sent it back and got a new one. This one stopped working after about four months. It is now simply collecting dust.

I purchased this printer when my fax machine at work broke and I wanted to replace it with an all-in-one. I thought I researched this printer pretty thoroughly, but I was disappointed when I received it and realized the fax settings did not have a forwarding option. After a little more research, I now belatedly know that the fax forwarding feature is not available on Canon products. This machine is now used for scanning and printing. The auto feeder consistently feeds without pulling multiple pages or jamming! The print quality is very good for black and white. It is still pretty good with color printing, but the quality is much better when using photo paper. Color printing and duplexing are slow compared to other machines in my office.

I bought this printer to replace an older Canon that it was getting impossible to find ink for. Got the product fast and without any hassle...set it up and was in print mode in a few moments. Love the options for printing pictures built right into the printer (choosing 8x10 vs 4x6 photo paper, etc). It was a huge help when it came to printing all my pics for my scrapbooks as Christmas gifts! The software, paired with my Olympus software, made the projects easy and quick!

I home school my children and this all-in-one makes things a bit easier. It was a breeze to set up and works like a charm! I have had 5 HP all-in-ones and they are CRUD! HP always gave me problems or was never full function, while this Canon has done everything I have asked of it with out one problem.

Here's how to get bluetooth in a position to work.First, realize that the paper Getting Started guide has nothinguseful to say about this. You must install the Canon softwareon your PC and read the on-line manual. There you will find outthat even though the optional and necessary BU-30 dongle is a USBdevice, it does not (and physically cannot) plug into the USB portin the back -- this is good actually. Instead it has its ownspecial port in the front. When it is plugged in, it can be configuredon the printer. Then you do Add a new Bluetooth device on Windows 7 Home Premium.Next, realize that you cannot print postscript/pdf via Bluetooth -- only.jpg and .png files (as the Specifications in Getting Started clearly say).Then sadly, it just doesn't print anything -- even .jpgs. Not for me. It tries to --the blue light on the dongle flashes and flashes but nothing comes outand then the whole process times out. I'm sorry I spent time and moneyon this Bluetooth feature that doesn't work for me. Otherwise the printeris pretty nice.
