This printer does an excellent job with both text, graphics and photos. The key to good quality is using the right paper. Text looks slightly fuzzy if you use regular paper (e.g. 20/24 lb paper). But move up to coated paper or matte paper (37 lbs and up) and text is very sharp without any jagged edges. Likewise, graphics and photos look dull on regular paper. But use the Canon photo paper (Epson's also works great!) and, wow! This printer turns out excellent photos, despite only have four ink cartridges.This printer has many other good features. The separate ink cartridges for each color eliminate the need to throw away an entire color cartridge which may only be partially empty. Refill ink is plentiful and inexpensive. And the AC adaptor is not a bulky brick as some other power adapters are. Oh, and the fast printing for text and photos is another plus.In conclusion...buy this printer! You won't be disappointed.

I bought this a year back, and take it everywhere. It easily slips into the pocket. Takes great photos. The only rawback is that it has only 2x optical zoom. Anyway most digital cameras have this much only. Dont forget to buy more memory when you buy this camera. It comes with a 8M memory, which can hold only 10 photos of high resolution.

I recently had my first child and took a bazillion pictures of her with my Canon S40. Then came the daunting task of making hard copies. I had a printer that came with my Dell. It was so slooowwww and LOUD. After reading reviews on CNET, Amazon.com and Consumer reports, I decided to go for a Canon and eventually ended up with the i850. I couldn't more agree with all the positive reviews. This printer is amazing. The Photo pictures prints in 2 minutes and look like it came from a photo lab. You may need some tweaking if you have a darker picture. But the default is perfect normally.I am by the way, concerned about some reviews that the pics fade away faster than an Epson print. But I promised myself to stay away from Epson due to its noise, speed and clogged nozzles. Canon says that the pics are good for 25 years in a 500lux environment (I guess in an album they will last longer than me). If you need pictures that last that long on exposed condition, like on a fridge, then you one eccentric person with a very lonely life and maybe five pictures. I change my pics many times and don't have time to wait that long. For framed pics I will always goto a photo lab.

I bought this printer based on the consumer reports rating and have been extremely dissapointed. It jams just about every time I try to print anything from plain paper to photos. The few times I have gotten it to work, the photos look pretty good. But it is so unreliable that it is basically unuseable. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk.

This is is the ONLY bad product I've bought from Amazon in three years of shopping. What's worse, I CANNOT fathom the preponderance of positive reviews!! I've been working with computers and printers for eleven years -- so forget about my ignorance. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing. This thing has not accepted a SINGLE sheet of 20-lb. plain paper. Not a single sheet! I don't what's going on with all these great reviews?! Are they using magic paper? This thing is going back into the box, back to Amazon. I want my money back. One good thing, Amazon has always treated me right -- five stars for customer service.

This is an excellent value in a digital camera. I bought one after admiring a friend's, and then bought another one to give to my daughter for her birthday. After years of owning high quality film cameras, I am impressed with the S200's excellent optics. For prints up to 8 x 10", you're in great shape. But, what I like almost as much is the camera's diminutive size and wonderful portability. You can stick it in your pocket and take it anywhere. Because of that, you'll tend to shoot more pics. So, be sure and buy at least a 64 mb flash card, because the 8 and 16 mb cards are far too small.

I bought this because of the rebate, and I just wanted a simple printer that will print decent photos. From all the reviews I read, I thought I was making a wise decision. When I tried to print pictures, they came out all grainy. It's loud (which I didn't mind), extremely light (material feels cheap), portable, LIGHTENING FAST print speed (even when printing pictures, perhaps this' not a good thing), and picture quality cannot even compare with HP 940C that I used to have (which is now obsolete, and costs around $60). I guess this would be a really good printer for someone who wants to print text occasionally (since INK is really CHEAP!), but definitely NOT recommended for photo printing! Hey, it costs only $45, what more do you expect? I'm going to return this one and pay twice the amount for Canon i550, which I hear is 1000 times better!

I have other digital cameras with higher pixel count but I bought the Canon primarily because of its size. I am very pleased with the camera, although I think a 3 zoom would have added much more to its value instead of the 2 zoom. I just took an extended car trip through the northwest and carried the camera in my back pants pocket very comfortably.

The Consumer's Reports review detailed how sparing with ink the S300 is. That same rating gave this printer high marks for print quality, both photo and text. I have run off probably 1000 pages so far, mostly MS Publisher, text and photo combined. I say the ratings are true.Don't worry about the noises some people report. Sure, it does click and clack when hybernating and waking up, but you'll quickly get used to it.The S300's output on regular paper seems to benefit from generations of technology beyond the HP 697C (about 5 years old, I guess) that it replaced in my home.Plug and play with my XP operating system was simple and fast. By the way, I do order replacement cartridges online, 3 or 4 B&W and 1 or 2 color at a time. Ink costs are very reasonable if you shop around.All my experiences have been positive with this printer, I highly recommend it, for photos or text.Update: January 2004. Color will no longer print. Tried cleaning heads, reinstalling drivers, NEW INK CART, etc. It just half died, still prints nice B&W. It had hard use, but only lasted a little over one year...

I believe that the Canon i850 printer is the overall best in its class for several reasons.1st: Quality. I use the i850 mainly as a photo printer and the photos it prints are virtually perfect. I have a 2Mp camera and even the 8 X 10's come out very nice. If you study the output very very carefully, you will see some dots. But, in general, the prints are as good as those done at the photolab. 2nd: Ink management. The i850 uses four seperate ink tanks that are easy to install, and last for a very long time.3rd: Functionality. The printer is easy to setup and install. The software packages included with the i850 are enough to get you going, although Jasc's Paint Shop Pro or Adobe's Photoshop are irreplaceable....Overall, the i850 is a great home printer for the amateur photographer/student looking for great quality at an affordable price.

This printer replaces an older HP color ink jet for me. Installation was quick and easy using my USB 2.0, the printer is backwards compatable with the slower USB 1.1 ports. The USB 2.0 is about 20 times faster than the older USB version 1.1 ports.The printer includes six ink cartridges, software, and two different cables to connect directly to Canon cameras but not the needed USB cable to connect the printer to the computer. A nice feature is the included media adapters that will take your camera memory and plug them into the printer's PCMCIA port. My package included a Canon adapter for CompactFlash and another by Dazzle that works for four different types including SmartMedia.The prints are simply beautiful using the sample of five sheets of included glossy paper. The colors are accurate and sharp. The 4x6 frameless prints take less than a minute to print out, 30 minutes to completely dry and they recommend 24 hours before putting them under glass or in an album.The printer can be used without a computer connected to it using the LCD screen on the righthand side of the machine and a camera's memory card. The image adapter available for [X] connects to a port on the top of the printer to allow you to preview pictures when used to print without the computer.

I acquired an S830D recently. You don't need the auxiliary screen to print directly from the memory card slot. To access the cropping capabilities, yes, you need a screen or a compatible camera, but not to print from a memory card. Inserting a memory card (and I've used both CompactFlash and SmartMedia from both Canon and Olympus cameras) causes the S830D to go into a mode that activates automatic print functions on the printer control board. You can print an index sheet of thumbnail images, print all images in a wide variety of multi-print-per-page formats, selected prints using the index and vary the print media and quality from plain paper to Photo Paper Pro. I have been very happy with both the color and the contrast produced by the printer with no computer intervention.As for the rest of the printer's features, photo lab quality, good ink economy, fast and quiet operation.This is the best printer I have ever owned.

This is a great printer for the home, home office, or an extra at the office. It is has an adequate resolution for most jobs, even photos. It is easily compatible with different size and thicknesses of paper (envelopes, 4x6 photo paper, etc.) The best aspect of this printer, and rare on a printer this inexpensive, is the separate ink tanks for the three primary colors (cyan, yellow, magenta) and black. This feature allows you to replace the individual color when it is empty instead of having to replace a cartridge that contains all of the colors when a single color (or black) runs out.I've been using the printer for three months and have had no problems with it. The software accompanying the printer has a handy feature that allows you to monitor the ink level in the tanks. With moderate use over the past three months (maybe 5 pages a day) the tanks are still almost completely full.It isn't very loud and starts up and prints a lot faster than my last printer (HP 660C, which also had numerous technical problems). While it isn't a photo-quality printer, nor is it the fastest or quitest out there, for the price, this printer can't be beat.

I bought this printer because of its speed. I use it mainly for drafting, so I wanted really quick, very crisp black and white images. I was not dissappointed. I haven't tried to print photos on it, yet, but judging just by it's performance on B&W, they should be great. This printer is fast. The only drawback is, if it sits unused for a couple of days, it has to go through a "warming up" routine that takes a minute. However, it's always whisper quiet and after it warms up it's really fast. I recommend it.

With inkjet manufacturers dividing the line between business and photo printers, it's become harder and harder to find a good all-around printer, but the i850 fits the bill. It's amazingly fast and quiet (especially compared to the Epsons I've owned) and the output is outstanding for a ... printer. If you're looking for a printer that can handle text and photo printing without guzzling ink, this is it.

Even though I am normally all thumbs trying to set up any electronic equipment, this printer was quick and easy to put together and working. I am an avid scrapbooker and very happy with the quality of my photo prints. However, the inks are not archivally safe and acid free so I still have to use my photo developing store for important prints. This printer is wonderful for instant gratification from my digital camera though and great for printing greeting cards. The colors are superb and black text is fast and clear. The price is excellent!

ProsThis camera is excellent for college students, its relatively cheap, compact and takes good quality photos. The other plus of this camera is that it can take short video clips with sound, so it's definetely an advantage. I would recommend to buy spare batteries and a 128mb compact flash card.ConsThe downside to this camera is that you cant tell when your battery is gonna die as there is no battery indicator until towards the end when the battery beeps 10 times and then the camera shuts down. Pictures taken Indoor are of low quality, even with flash button on. Most pictures taken indoors are dark and dimm. However, i still recommend this camera to anyone who wants to have a great time snapping photos.

I am a real estate agent and use this printer to print out contracts from my laptap. It fits in the front flap of my carrying case, hence negating the need for another bag. Slick, prints fast and easy to set up.Here are some cons:- Infrared sometimes does not "connect" as fast- Ink dries up FAST!! Granted my contracts are lengthy, but I can't get thru one complete contract (about 25 pages) without it drying up on me.Besides the two complaints listed above, it is great.

I have the original Canon Digital ELPH, the S100...and over the past year-and-a-half, it's been great! The pictures are, for the most part, perfect (I ran into some problems in Vegas, where the contrast of the dark, night sky & the obnoxiously bright neon seemed to confuse the CCD and resulted in some dark, out-of-focus shots).This camera fulfills my two most important requirements: 1) high resolution, so that I can print out photos and have them look like they just came from Ritz Camera, and 2) small size, so I can comfortably carry it in the pocket of my jeans...I hate having to hang a camera around my neck and look like a tourist when I travel!I do have a couple complaints, which hadn't been addressed in the S110, and most likely haven't been fixed in the S200 either:- Greater control over shutter speed: there is some control over shutter speed, but it isn't enough to really take any artistic pictures or nighttime landscapes (such as a city skyline at night, which is what I was trying when I discovered this shortcoming).- No battery life indicator (just a low battery symbol, but by then it's too late). It would be very handy if the Digital Elph could display the minutes of battery time left, or even a small bar showing the approximate amount of battery life remaining. In my opinion, there's nothing worse than suddenly having the low battery warning pop up (with the S100, this means ~5 minutes until total shutdown). If you want to see what I'm talking about, I would suggest checking out a Sony Cybershot digital camera (or any Sony InfoLithium-powered camcorder).Other than these two issues, I LOVE this camera...it's definitely more than proved its worth.

I received this printer in the correct delivery time. I was glad to see everything was there and I set it up easily. I use the MacOSX so the directions are not great for us. I called tech support directly with a question about having to download a driver which was not on the CD. They were super friendly and listened to my concerns. I called the following day about ink level viewing which again was unclear in their manual. Tech support was patient, caring and knew their stuff. The printer is super for its price. and I am having a ball. I am now a Canon customer for life...

The i850 produces the best photo prints I've ever seen from an inkjet. I looked at the HP 7350 and a few from Epson because I've never owned a printer from any other manufacturer. When I started to read the reviews about this printer, I decided to check one out in person. I was immediately impressed by the quietness and speed -- and WOW, the finished print -- I couldn't find any flaws. I thought my HP 970 printed great photos but the Canon blows it away. I'll keep the HP because it still is a great all-around printer and I've only had it for a 2 yrs. Inkjet technology has made some great advances the past few years! And Mac users, this is a great printer because it works perfectly with OS 10.2 Jaguar -- including borderless prints. Just download the current drivers from Canon's web site. This is a fantastic printer for the price. A side note, one reason I decided to go with this Canon printer is because I've been very pleased with their scanners too. I have the N1240 and it produces great color tones with all my photo scanning. I highly recommend the i850 printer.

After owning 6 different printers in as many years, I was totally depressed to think about buying another. With 200+ printers to choose from under $200, I researched for a week and finally took the plunge! All I can say is, "WoW!". The installation was flawless, the bundled software is capable and fast. Formatting and printing is a breeze. The printer is so quiet, even in standard mode, that nobody knew I had it up and running before the photo came out in 1:05 minutes. For those folks who are totally overwhelmed by the choices out there, LOOK NO FARTHER! I'd rate this 6 stars if they'd let me.... As a foot note, I have a rather dusty environment and the Canon i550 has feed and paper path doors which can be closed when not in use, eliminating the need for a dust cover.

i bought this camera a few days ago (10days),got a special deal from amazon, especially the price drop right now.GOOD PRICE and GOOD SERVICE. i decided to get Canon S200 because of its "some manual" control (which i'm really looking for) plus the size. I had a chance to compare this camera to Sony CD mavica 300, which we owned but its bulky. The picture quality...mmm.. the quality is good but i still like the quality of the Sony MVC 300 (using 2 megapixel), maybe this is due to the "Carl Zeiss" lens. I took about 250 pics(10 days), my only complaint was that i been getting some kind of "snowflakes or "spotting" on my pics, about 1/3 of my pics have this. I'm not really sure whats wrong with it. First i thought there might be some kind condensation on the camera or in the lens but couldn't find the culprit. i also notice that the "snowflakes" or "spotting" only appears on a telephoto and dark shots.i'll be returning and exchanging this camera for a new one, i'll give it another try. One more thing i noticed is that the camera has some difficulty focusing during a low light + moving subjects (takes longer time to take a pic). well thats it for now....i'll tell more about it when i get the replacement.

Cheap and easy to use printer with no hassles. Just make sure to remove all packaging tape from inside the printer before installing the cartridges (otherwise it won't print).Ink cartridges are very small but also easy to buy & very inexpensive. The print quality is very nice for such a small printer. Recommended if you don't print much at home, occassional use only.Update: Used it for more than a 1000 pages over 6 months and absolutely flawless. Not a single paper jam. Thanks Canon!

I spent the better part of a week gawking at digital cameras, and ultimately ended up purchasing the Cannon PowerShot S200 Digital Elph. Overall, I am happy very with it. Unlike the other cameras, this one had some additional features to put it over the top: it is the smallest camera in its class, has a rechargeable battery (the others needed AA or AAA batteries), and it uses Compact Flash cards. Some of the other camera manufacturers only used pricey proprietary memory sticks or memory cards. Software is included for Windows machines and there is support for Linux. Redhat Linux 8.0 supported the USB camera connection, out of the box, without needing to install additional software. There is only one annoyance - there is a delay between pressing the button and when the picture is actually taken. Aside from that, the camera is basically a point and shoot camera, with good clarity and color. A carrying case isn't included, so I'd recommend purchasing a small camera case and an extra compact flash card. I'm happily using a 64MB card.

For home use, this printer does it all! You may have read the editorial reviews stating that the text quality is lacking, but I can tell no difference ,using a magnifier, between the text from the i850 and the laser printers at the office. The photo quality is outstanding! Everyone I show the pics to is amazed. As for the ability to print directly from the memory card? Come on, do you really want to spend the money on ink and paper before cropping or scrutinizing the picture for lighting, focus, defects?? To me this is the biggest benefit of a photo printer, being able to print only the photos that turned out. Otherwise, it's more economical to go to a photo lab. I think that option is only good for the "gee whiz" factor. For the money, you can't go wrong with the i850.

Installation:Installation was a snap. Remove the unit from the box and the packaging tape that protects the unit's vital parts. Install the two inkjet cartridges provided, then install the power cord. Power up the unit and install the driver provided on a cd. The whole operation took around 5-10 minutes. REMEMBER that you will need to purchase a USB cable if you don't have one already. Next, I aligned the printer heads, which was fairly easy to do with the provided illustrations. Now, you're ready to print.Performance:The unit is no speed demon , however it's quick enough to get the job done and looks good doing it. It's amazing how good this printer is for such a low price. My first printer was a laser unit, because I couldn't stand the print quality of inkjets. The text print quality and image print quality really demonstrates how much better inkjets are today. The print quality is just as good or even better than my 600 dpi laser printer.Pros:Cheap price Looks nice sitting on the deskGood print qualityCompact sizeCons:No USB cable providedNot super fastConclusion:Great inkjet printer for those on a really tight budget

Like a number of other reviewers I have experienced the same problem; I have to perform a deep nozzle clean for the black ink before EVERY print job. Once this is done, the output is exceptional, especially photos, but this cleaning wastes time, ink and paper. From the number of other reviewers who have experienced the exact same problem it is clearly not a fault with my particular unit, but a fundamental design flaw of this model. Be very wary.

Two words: Buy it! This printer is one of the best in its class. It gives great print quality, text and photos, and is faster than most in its price range. I also love the design of this machine. The paper tray and holder both fold neatly inside the printer to conserve desk space and make it easy to transport. As in most Canon printers, the ink tanks are separate which makes changing colors easy, convenient, and affordable. It's also very simple to use. Within ten minutes you'll be printing your favorite pictures with surprising results.There's not much else to say about this printer. I highly recommend it for home use and casual photography.

This camera is worth the investment. 2Mpixels is good enough for developing photos 4x6 max.. anything bigger becomes blurry.. great BUY!!! and after that i put my photos on ofoto.com .. it's a free service by kodak films..

Pros:*Small and compact.*Decent picture quality.*Very solid, quality construction.*Feature laden camera.*Excellent software & documentation.*Looks great, nice feel.Cons:*Zoom stinks!*You need to walk forward ten feet to a quarter-mile to zoom this camera.Note:I use this camera as my "second" digital camera ("first" is an Olympus C3040) - great for snapshots, not for anything that requires any hint of a ZOOM. I love this camera!

This is a great first digital camera-- but I wish someone would have warned me that you should only use this camera outdoors. I can't for the life of me get autoflash to work and I can't make the flash go on by choice to take pictures. Beautiful outdoor pictures- woudl love to use it indoors- but even in broad daylight in the house the pictures come out dark and I end modifying them with software--If you are planning to buy this camera- beware that indoor pics don't turn out so great- my disposable camera does a better job.

This printer is just amazing for the price !! This is my first photo printer so I can't really compare. But so far I've printed 300 4x6 prints, and about 10 8x11 prints and the toner is still as new ! One thing is if you look close against the print you can notice that the lines are not too smooth and some colors do not come out too well. But like I said I have nothing to compare too so all the photo printers may do this as well. Another thing I found was that this printer prints best on the Canon Photo Paper they provide as a sample. I've tried HP and Kodak on it so far and the Canon by far prints better. They're just too expensive. But all in all I am quite pleased with my purchase

I bought this printer for basic home use because it was highly rated by PC Magazine. A lot of internet research was performed as well (about 2 weeks worth). I debated between the Canon i850 and the i550...The only discernable difference between the two was print speed. This was confirmed on Canon's website. I am very impressed with its photo printing. Since we went all digital photography at our house, my wife kept complaining about not being able to get a good quality print. PROBLEM SOLVED!! It prints a beautiful, 4x6 borderless photo in no time at all! It would take a magnifying glass to distinguish it from a professionally developed photo. 4x6 glossy photo paper is only 15-20 cents a sheet. The individual tanks, and ink cost was the deciding factor as well. The cost of the Canon ink replacements vs. the other leading brands is a no-brainer. I had my last Canon for 4 years before I decided to upgrade to the newer technology. Bottom line - great printer, great photos, great price.PS-The text printed by the i550 is laser quality, just in case you need to actually use it as a "regular" printer:)

Великолепно

After fighting with the Compaq A1000-All-In-One for almost three years, I am so satisfied with this printer.I received this printer yesterday and had it up and running in under 10 minutes. The quality is excellent! I recommend this printer to anyone looking for a new or replacement printer like I did.

Having been through several HP and Lexmark printers, all modelsvery noisy, I was pleasantly surprised by how exceptionallyquiet this Canon printer was. It works well with my Linksysprintserver, and allows all 3 of my home office computers toprint with no extra cables (the printer cable goes to my printserver,which is basically an ethernet hub with a printer port). 5x7 photos are really awesome; I touched up the eye color ofa picture of my daughter (a little extra green) and people oohh'dand awww'd over how pretty her eyes were....they had no idea itcame off my printer.

I think for starters who's never used a digital camera before like me would have absolutely no complaints with it. For graduate students like me you don't need a professional camera to click images....all you do with a camera is click beautiful and sharp images to keep it for longlasting memories and for sharing with your other friends. So i felt that portability is the main factor along with very good pictures and well ofcourse economically friendly enough....I'm very much satisfied with this. Frankly speaking, I'm not really aware of the techinical jargon associated with the digicams so bought it just by reading the other reviews and BELIEVE ME......People are not joking......They are talking sense and are happy with it and probably want to share it with the others just as i'm doing it right now.....Have fun with your new camera though......hopefully canon powershot.

This is a real good camera, but there are butter choices than this. I would consider Canon PowerShot A60 is much better choice than this. It has all the features this one has + it has more optical as well as digital zoon + it's cheaper + we can record video upto 3 min. (it's max. 30 sec. in S200)Also playback on LCD has sound in A60, which is not present in S200.Although disadv. of A60 are bigger size (not that much), it uses AA size batteries, I always prefer Lithium Ion Rechargeable batteries. and it is not yet released ;-)

I have been a dedicated digital Elph user since the first S100 was released and have really gotten my money's worth from that camera. It is a rock-solid, 2 megapixel, 2X optical zoom, pocketable digicam. It was not, however, a perfect camera, and the first update, the S110 attempted to address its major shortcomings, most significantly by fixing the poorly designed power switch and by adding a movie function. Next came the S200, which added to the movie function (60 seconds max., with sound) better battery management and higher amperage and several new user controls. It did *not* add the anticipated 3 megapixel resolution, nor improve upon the 2X optical zoom. The series continued with the S300 & now the S330, and these indeed do offer the 3X optical zoom (forget about digital zooms; they're nearly useless, especially in lower resolution cameras), though not the 3 megapixel resolution (this is important *only* if your intention is printing enlargements greater than 8" x 10"). So with all 5 of the digital Elphs still widely available, which would suit you best? Personally, considering their prices graduate only slowly, and given my experience that a better optical zoom makes for a more useful camera, I'd go for the ... S300. However, if size is not a major factor in your decision process, skip the premium one pays for the Elphs' compactness and consider the fact that you can buy other digicams that are only modestly larger but rather better equipped for less money.

I love this camera! It takes really fantastic photos. Highest resolution is 1600x1200, and all pics are taken at 180 dpi instead of 72 dpi like some digital cameras. At the highest setting it's about 900 kb per picture, so just figure 1 picture per MB on your memory card.Why is the camera so great? For me it's two things. First, the size. This is a wonderful size for a camera. Small enough to carry around with you, but all the controls are easy to reach and nicely sized. It's small enough that even in the optional case I can fit this sucker in my pocket or keep it in my bag and carry it everywhere. For me there's no point in having a 4 or 5 megapixel camera if I don't have it handy all the time to take pictures.The second thing is that it takes really fantastic pictures. With its highest setting you can print out 8x10's without noticeable artifacts. It has a 2x optical zoom (never use digital zoom, it's like cropping and then resizing your picture) and a really good optic system. Colors are crisp, and it snaps pictures extremely fast, so what you snap is what you get. Some digital cameras take a second or more after you hit the button to take the picture.Anyway, for its small size and great picture quality I highly recommend this camera!

I too bought the i550 based on the raving reviews and had nothing but trouble.When we first installed the printer it printed a beautiful 4x6 picture on the free sample paper. After that it never worked again! I uninstalled, reinstalled, called tech support and got nothing but problems for 2 weeks. In the end the computer illiterate "tech support" at canon told me I had a bad print head and needed to go to a local area provider to have it replaced. I packed it back up in the box and sent it back to amazon.

We bought this printer to go with the canon G2 we bought.Excellent choice.First I must say if you are considering buying it from anyone other than Amazon[.com],DON'T.I have dealt with Amazon[.com] for years and they are the best at what they do,no one comes close.The printer is so easy to setup,not like some of are other printers.We are using Window XP,it went like a breeze.in lees than 30 minutes I was printing pictures.... I am still learning all the features,but the quality of the pictuers is as good if not better than any other.. And it is fast fast,printed 2 4x6 pictures in less than 4 minutes,I have found that you do need to buy quality paper.I used the Canon 4x6 bordless paper first until I ran out, then I switched to another brand,big mistake.Use the right paper and you to will be amazed.

I was desperate for a digital camera of my own, and found this one. I compared it with many others, even though this was only 2.0 MegaPixels, low for today's standards of a 5.0 and above, it was just right for me. I loved the design, it was a bit heavy, but small for my style. It's perfect for someone who just wants to take fun photos, though I only recommend this for simple photos. It's great when on the computer as tested. I don't regret purchasing it at all for it's promising price.
