After having a nightmare time with an HP 8600, I returned it and got this Canon.I just installed it easilly, in under half an hour. Great easy to follow instructions. Pictures print great.I haven't had it long enough to comment on ink longevity, but so far I love this printer.Well worth the price.

I've had it with this printer. So many times I have been dependent on this printer to print something important and it has failed. Whether it is random WiFi connection problems which plague my printer and forces me to search for my printer cable or whether it is how this printer runs out of ink without warning and will not print a single page afterwards until you replace the cartridge. I would definitely not recommend this printer to anyone.

I wanted a white all-in-one printer for my home, and this Canon PIXMA MX350 was a good compact size. The printer arrived in a timely manner, and was very well packaged. The instructions were clear, and there was no problem with the set-up. However, it didn't print in color; everything was yellow. I tried repeated cleanings of the head, but I had to replace the color cartridge with a new one before I had good color printing. This was a nuisance, but I am now printing happily, and the print results are very good.

Canon Pixma MX882 Wireless Office All-In-One Printer (4894B002)Amazon delivered the printer in two days. Previously had a Canon MP780 for over 6 years and finally the Print Head went and needed a new machine quickly.This printer was very easy to set up if you followed the instructions closely. Having had a Canon previously I was ready to go. Connected it to my computer and am not using it wireless. Installation only took a short time but needed to set up different functions on the machine. Programing was much easier than my old machine. Have had no problems to date with the printer. Find it prints a little slower than I had expected but the print quality is very good.Only one complaint was the way it was packaged by Amazon. Box came UPS and was half open when it was delivered. Box was too big for the machine and only stuffed with a little paper, machine rolled around in the box but machine was well packed in original case so there was no damage. It was worth every dollar I spent on it and Amazon's service and delivery was great.

I say so far because I haven't used all of the abilities yet. I am not an expert in computer things, suffice it to say this Canon Pixma MX882 has functioned perfectly for me. It was very easy to set up and I found the directions to be easy for a person like me to follow. Far, far superior to the HP I had before that the flimsy hinges for the copier top broke for no apparent reason.

I looked at the reviews for this printer and was pretty impressed. I figured that Canon makes good cameras, so why not try their printers out? Wrong choice. While this printer has been able to handle most things I ask of it, it doesn't do anything well.Scanning: can't auto scan without a program open on the computer.Printing: I leave my printer off most of the time, so when I turn it on and need to print something it takes 5 minutes of whirring until it is willing to print.Ink: Won't print if one ink color is out. I was trying to print in greyscale, but Cyan was out so it refused to printAlso, ink is super expensive! I don't recommend this printer.

In short, prints great pictures up to A3+ size. Quality is exceptional. I could get it to match the color of what you see on screen very easily.Only negative point is the way it drinks inks. I could get only 29 US Letter size (8.5 X 11) photos with first set of cartridges. And that too 50% of them printed in standard quality setting and rest in high quality. New set of ink costs 44$ !!!! So it costs you nearly 1.5$ per print and this is excluding paper cost !!!

The only reason this printer does not get 5 stars is because of its size and weight. It looks fairly sleek in pictures, but I was unpleasantly surprised by its heft. Having said all that, setup was a breeze - Canon has certainly improved in that regard from my past experience - and the print quality is exceptional. Document and photo printing is sharp, colors are very realistic and most importantly - the printing is very fast.What remains to be seen, and I will comment on it after testing it over a period of time, is just how much of a hog it is on the print cartridges.I also used Canon's iPad app to print photos - the results are superb.

I'm using this printer for almost 2yrs and it's the best printer I've bought so far. No problems so far with printing/scanning/copying. Best feature, wireless printing! Really good at picking up wireless signal. I've mine ~30ft away from a Wireless-N router and it never failed in printing a document. I mostly print documents using this. So, I've never tried the photo printing feature of it. Still, highly recommend this AIO to anyone that's looking for a budget AIO printer.

I've had horrible printer experiences in the past. I was under the impression that all printers were evil. This printer is amazing. It was so easy to set up, I got it set up on all the machines in the house(some are pretty old and XP, others are new and Windows 7). Everyone can print wirelessly, with no trouble at all. I am in love with this printer. The only weird thing about it is that it has two black ink cartridges. One skinny and one fat. You have to have both of them, so you have to be careful when you buy/order new ink. It's a good price for what you get...which is an amazing printer.

I have had this printer for a while it worked great until my router died. I purchased a new router got everything hooked up except the printer. I have changed setting on router, I have loaded the latest drivers and I can not get this printer to connect to wifi. Other than that it is a good printer, however I purchased it for it's wifi capabilities.

Review update (September 2011):I contacted Canon support and was told that a B200 error means the print head is dead and it would be less expensive to replace the unit then to have it repaired. So I ordered a replacement -- of course the current equivalent uses different ink so the ink in the MP560 could not be reused. Left the MP560 unplugged.When the replacement unit came I decided to plug in the MP56 one more time and it worked. Printed without any problems. Call Canon and said I wanted a pre-paid shipping label to send the unopened new printer back as it was not needed and the support department misdiagnosed the problem. First I was told that I would have to arrange return shipping and pay for it. I then asked the representative to check with his supervisor about the fact that Canon misinformed me about my printer being dead. After five or so minutes on hold he came back as said a prepaid label would be sent by email.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Review update (September 2011):Bought the printer in October 2009. Used it mostly for scanning -- 20 to 30 pages/month --- and check printing -- one or two a month -- and an occassional page of text. Tried to print a check today (September 3, 2011) and the display says:B200Printer error.Unplug printer and contact support.So over the life of this printer I have scanned 500 to 700 pages and printed less than 100 pages and it has died.-------------------------------------Original Review (November 2009):I have only had the printer for four weeks so I cannot comment on Ink usage or long term problems.I unpacked it, plugged it in and installed the software. The only painful part of the process was entering in the WEP key in hex. The character selection process was a bit awkward. Other than that it was a breeze. Of course the printer is sitting four feet from the wireless router.It works well with Windows XP and Windows 7 x64 both as a printer and a scanner. I have used it to scan in documents for WinFax Pro 10.03 (Windows XP x86) and FaxTalk Messenger Pro 7.5 (Windows 7 x64).Photos printed on photo paper are incredible.It allows for manually feeding which many all in ones seem to lack. This means you can print on checks, envelops, different size photo paper, etc.The standalone copy function is easy to use for single sided copies and produces excellent results even for color copies on standard paper. The only drawback is if you want to make two side copies. It is painfully slow. It does not start the printing process until you have scanned both sides of the original. Then it spends a good deal of time digesting it before it prints the first side, draws the paper back in and prints the reverse side. It does not appear to have enough power/memory to allow you to continue scanning while it is printing.I bought this to replace an aging bubble jet printer and an aging scanner. But the print quality is such that I may retire my Okidata 10ex laser printer when I use up the spare toner cartridge.

It is a great printer/scanner/copier/fax. I love the wireless part where one canprint from any of the laptop/desktop setup at home. Not just that, when somethingis scanned, you can send the scanned document to any laptop/desktop. The qualityis really good.The printer driver does not keep updating itself every day unlike HP's photosmart printer.I have a HP Photosmart printer which keeps updating its driver everyday as you boot themachine! This takes about 7-10 minutes. So, nothing can be printed right away. So, if you arein a hurry, things won't work out!

This printer jams every single time I use it. Usually, multiple times per print job. It is unbelievable how often this thing jams.Do not buy this product. It is awful. Today it jammed 5 times on a single 7 page print document.

i hate anything that you have to pull out the manual when you want to do something like align the cartridges. the on screen display is a joke the lack of buttons makes you use the manual all the all the time. the WiFi set up is less then optimal. the ink cartridges run out like lebron from Cleveland. i would pay the extra couple of bucks and get a better system.

After years of stubbornly refusing to quit buying HP printers, I've finally switched to Canon and am very happy. The performance, features and design of this machine all grade out high. The only thing I am waiting on is cartridge longevity. I highly recommend this quality machine to anyone who can get by with an inkjet.

This was an easy setup, up and running with a pair of Macs and a Windows PC on a local network. All setup in about ten minutes. The printer itself looks pretty good, shiny black finish, and the paper handling plastic trays seemed reasonably strong to withstand normal (careful) handling.Although this is an inexpensive printer and is aimed at the business, rather than home photo, market, the image quality on photographic prints is quite good. (This was a good quick test print, a full-sized photo print. The 13x19" print took a little over two minutes to print.) The darker tones were especially well-defined in the color photo printout. A quick test print of a large excel pivot table also looked good. For a smaller office, infrequently printing large images, this could be a good deal. It also collapses to a reasonably small footprint with the paper trays retracted.So, if you need large format printing at a low cost, this is a good option. Works well with Macs and Windows, setup is quick, and the quality of the prints is quite good.

I had a Canon PIXMA MX770 all-in-one printer and would have purchased another if it had been available. I opted instead for the newer Canon PIXMA printer, MX882 and love the features. I often have a need to scan documents and it can scan and print documents in duplex mode. It's like magic!!! I really like my new printer and recommend it to anyone that needs an all-in-one color printer.

So far it works great. We no longer have to go to the printer to plugin the usb. Setup went smoothly. I connected it via Ethernet so I cannot comment on setting up the wifi connection. I know some previous reviewers had trouble setting it up for OS X. I was able to quickly install the software from the included media and print from both a 5 year old Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard and computers running Windows 7.

I got this printer in August and I just ran out of black ink, fast I know but considering all that I was printing it lasts a long time. It is noisy but not as much as any other printer out on the marketGreat all in one functions are perfectThe wireless I haven't gotten around to setting that up seeing as though I have a netbook for personal use and a house computer that everything is hooked up to but I plan on getting another computer so I can finally hook up the wireless

Purchased the MP560 and it worked fine, but got an error this week: "U052" which translates into malfunctioning printer head. This printer is not even 1 year old, and the print head costs nearly as much as a new printer to replace... and even then, I'm not sure if replacing that will be the problem. When browsing through Fixya and other troubleshooting sites, this seems to be a defect with this printer series, so if you do buy it, get the warranty plan because you may need it!

I just finished setting up my printer. As many others have noted setting up the wireless connection requires close attention to the instructions. In my case, as others have reported, my computer (an HP Elite running Windows 7) could not detect the printer during the standard install. I connected the printer by cable, used the software disc to install the printer via USB and printed some documents. Later I successfully completed the wireless installation by attaching the printer to the PC's USB port and following the directions in the manual. I was not happy when I tried a few hours later to print documents and got an error message saying the printer was offline.After some frustrating attempts to correct the problem by myself, I called tech support as a last resort before boxing the printer and returning it to Amazon. It took the tech no more than 5 minutes to discover that my PC had two versions of my printer listed in the Control Panel. One was connected to the computer by wire and one was wireless. The wired version was listed as the default, and since I had disconnected the USB cable, it was truly offline.Given the horror stories I have heard from others and experienced myself about tech support for computer gear, I think it is important to record that the hold time in my case was minimal, the person I talked to was not reading from a script, he spoke American English, and he knew exactly how to identify and fix the problem. I was a little doubtful about buying a Canon printer, but I think that the quality of the tech support alone justifies my choice. As a bonus, the quality of the printing is outstanding.

Wow, so I'm "in computers" and this thing is the worst ever, I will NEVER buy a Cannon printer again. I will stick with HP or Epson, probably HP. The wireless never stays connected, it about killed my wife's Mac. It never worked with my son's laptop (Win7), and it always says it's out of paper when it's not. THE WORST EVER!

I wanted an All-in-one printer that printed quality photos and had a low ink cost. I did a lot of research and this printer has lived up to my expectations. The photo prints are excellent and the cost of ink is good compared to other printers that I researched. I haven't used all the features yet, but I did some 2-sided copying and found it easy to use the display panel. I would definitely recommend this printer.

I ignored other reviewers and bought this despite the fact that other reviewers had trouble setting up their wireless connection. I'm a pretty handy computer person, and I cannot figure it out. The printer is connected to the network, but the driver will not install. Every time I set up the printer for wireless use on my computer, the set-up deletes the wired connection driver and does not install a new driver. SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY AND BUY THE NON-WIRELESS VERSION. THIS WIRELESS IS USELESS!

I purchased this as one of Amazon's special offers (something like 40% off). I had needed a new printer for awhile and the price finally nudged me into this one. Couldn't be happier.I did think that the printer would be smaller than it is. The description said it was compact, and it is, in fact, not very tall. The footprint of it is pretty wide, though. It is deep, but it does have to accommodate for a second (rear) paper feed.The scanning capabilities are great. After having an HP printer/scanner/copier for the last 6 years, I had come to think that using a scanner meant a little fussing, a little post-scan cropping, maybe some color correction, and putting up with a noise 5X louder than any you thought could come from such a little machine. The PIXMA MP560 is quieter -- you can still hear it, but it's not even close to offensive. It has an auto detect option so if you place 4 3x5 pictures on the plate, it can scan them in one-by-one -- no cropping each out later! Granted, sometimes the borders aren't perfect. Quality? I scanned pictures for my girlfriend and she commented on the quality of the image, knowing I'd gotten a new printer/scanner.Printing doesn't happen at break-neck speed, but heck, it does duplex! Photo printing is excellent, as one expects from Canon. It came with a trial pack of 6 or so Canon Photo Plus Gloss II (?) 4x6 sheets. They look excellent. Color correctness, sharpness, and overall quality are impressive. The rear tray is a little misleading in how it appears to indicate paper should go into it, but you get that sorted out pretty quickly.Wireless printing is pretty easy to set up. I am running a router off of Verizon's router (I don't like theirs), so it took me a little while to realize I couldn't use my router since it is not its own access point. Once that got sorted out, voila.Overall: Highly recommend unless you're looking to put your printer in some very small space. I was, but it was worth finding a different place.

Loved this printer until I got the dreaded U052 error after the warranty just ran out. Cost more to fix than it is worth. In my opinion, along with samsung, Canon has gone downhill. I will be looking at a Panosonic or Epson.

I love this printer. Print speed is great. The scanner works really well and the feeder does not jam like the Epson. The built-in wireless function works well with Mac OS. We love it so much we have several MX series printers.I just wanted to report here that the printer and scan functions work fine after upgrading to Mac OS-X Lion.HOWEVER, the drivers downloaded by Lion automatically do not work. When I started Solution Menu and click scan, I got an error window.Then, after some searching, I found that you have to download new versions of the following rather than relying on Lion's automatic software update. (Canon sure does not make it easy. They have a OS Lion page but it says nothing other than that the printer is supported.)Download The Drivers, Solution Menu EX and MP Navigator EX from this link:These drivers are listed under 10.6, but the fine prints say that they work fine with 10.7(See link in comments. Seems like Amazon's editor does not allow url.)

There are days when I wanted to beat this printer to pieces Office Space style. It uses a ridiculous amount of ink for even simple jobs. I think one of my printer cartridges yielded less than 50 pages. The cartridges are expensive and just slightly larger than my thumb. If you use it frequently, you'll spend more money IN-A-YEAR on ink than the printer costs.

Have only had this a couple weeks, but great so far. Set up was easy, took a few extra minutes as I was putting it on out wired network (had to go into menus on printers screen). It does have a large footprint on the desk, print is crisp and fast, faxing is very easy. Lets hope it lasts as it is replacing an HP8500Pro that was 2 years old but had only printed less than 100 pages in those 2 years (have a laserjet 4000 for most print jobs). Bought this for several reasons: cost, previous canon printers, WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HP INKJET, uses same cartridges as wifes pixma mp250, does all I need it to do for basic family-small business use.

I returned the Canon M300 after being utterly dissapointed by it's low light capabilities and graininess and decided to jump the gun and go w/ the S200. It was a night and day difference and I'm glad I made the switch. For one, indoor shooting is a priority for me and the s200's capabilities were sufficent in that department, MUCH better than the m300.It also looks much more refined and the fact that I saved so much $$ on this version as compared to the s20 and s21, I can spend the saved $$ on accesories that will make the camera a better value than to simply have built in memory.. Some of the must haves w/ this camera are: longer life battery + charger(already bought) and an external mic (dm100 on its way). I'm also seriously contemplating getting a wide angle lens for the camera since the built-in lens is not wide enough for my liking. That coupled w/ a custom built stabilizer rig, I think I'll be able to start my amature movie making business, j/k..Overall, I love the camera so far and look forward to putting it to use this summer for activities, events, and family time.. This is a great upgrade from my 1st camcorder purchase back in 2000, an 8mm Hi-Fi Sony Handycam..I would definitely recommend this camera to others and would buy again if I had to..

I bought this for $40 at an Office Depot during a sale. Regular and photo printing (and ink usage) are much better than the previous HP throwaway printer I had been stuck with. The wifi setup seemed to have been a bit harder than it needed to be but eventually everything fell into place. Good buy.

The printer worked great for 4 months. Now it keeps telling me there is a paper jam. We took the printer apart and we still can't figure out why we keep getting that code. We then did some searching on the internet only to find that this is a common problem for this printer. So now we're back in the market for a printer. :(

I was surprised by just how nice looking this printer was. Feels very well built. It did take about an hour to get my vista computer set up to print wirelessly. However, while setting up my vista computer, i found, downloaded, installed and set up Canon's android app in about 2 minutes(with my left hand). The android app allows me to print wirelessly from my phone and scan wirelessly to my phone in pdf or jpg. Printer came with a sample pack of 4x6j photo paper. Does a nice job on that paper. Very happy with this purchase.

This review is simply to assert my satisfaction with this product, which I have now had for well over a month and have used it for printing from multiple computers set up on our wireless network as well as used it for scanning. My needs are relatively simple and so I probably have not put this device through its paces as much as other users, but it works exceptionally well and is probably one of the best printers I have had for home use, especially for the price.The set up time does take a little bit, which is not really a drawback, since this is the case with most printers. We are using it with windows based PCs that have an assortment of windows operating systems running-XP, Vista, and 7, and there have been no issues. The only challenge I faced was when I replaced my old router (a Netgear device) and set up a Linksys one in its place. I had to do some testing with the printer, but after all was said and done, it worked like a charm with the new router just like with the old.I am a home user and have to say that I am satisfied with this device's print quality for both black and white and color, as well as the quality of the scanning. This device replaced a fairly inexpensive HP printer and scanner (sorry, can't remember the model numbers). I had the scanner for many years and it still worked just fine, but I was having fits with different printers and trying to set up a print server-it worked with my older printer but not with the newer ones I got. Replacing all the wires and devices with this device, which doesn't have to sit on my desk, which is already crammed full of other devices, is a nice added bonus. I don't think I will ever go back to using a USB printer at home, or a separate scanner either.Again, I have only had this device for a little over a month and the setup with the WiFi network we have was easy, the overall setup was a breeze, and I have enjoyed using it a great deal. To clarify, I would rate my computer skills as modest-I can read instructions and can figure most consumer products out. I would think that someone with that level of skill should have no problem at all with this device.

Canon Pixma MX882 Wireless Office All-in-One Inkjet Printer (4894B002). I order it one day and received it the next! It was easy to set up & install. I've used most of it's features & found them 2B excellent. Duplex printing has been problem free. Very satiisfied with both printer & Amazon service

This is my first Wifi Printer purchase, but not my first Canon Printer. I'm a die-hard Canon Chick! I love this printer except it does print a little slow. As a photographer I wanted something I could make an occasional print with and this printer delivers high quality photos. It's easy to set up on your network and then everyone can print from it. The ink cartridges are about 20 each at Walmart, so that's not horrible either.The printer comes with a 5 pack of 4x6 glossy photo papers to try it out with!

Великолепно

The Canon Pixma MX882 Wireless Office All-in-One Inkjet Printer simply does the job. The set up was extremely easy no trickery involved what so ever. It's quite and looks really good sitting over in the corner of my office with no wires attached minus the power cord and telephone line of course. It also works perfectly with my entire Apple lineup (iMac, Mac book pro, iPhone, iPad) as well as my PC products. The only thing I found to be different from the advertisement is the printer is much heavier and bigger then I noticed but that was my fault for not looking closer at the dimensions when I read the advertisement.
