These things have nothing but bass. I like bass, but it's ridiculous. You can't turn it down or control it. Forget about using these on iPods or anything where you can't really adjust the base pre-amp. And even when you can, the bass is so strong, it's impossible to get decent sound. You may hear no words to the songs, and you may not be able to distinguish any instruments, but you will hear and feel the base 18 houses down the block. If you are not using this with a computer which gives you full control of the sound, DO NOT BUY.

Small, with a very nice box for travel. I love the one USB line that connects to the computer. The sound quality is very good for the size of the speakers and the price.

Like other reviewers I got these speakers to use with my laptop. I have an aluminum body Macbook and was looking for a quick and easy way to get more volume and audible bass out of it. These speakers do the job admirably, though I have found some small issues that make them a little less than perfect:Pros:- The speakers are relatively small (though not tiny), and come with a cool travel case.- They run on USB power. There's only one cord to plug in and you get both sound and power through it.- They sound really good for their size. I can hear bass lines in my music again (something I couldn't do through my laptop speakers).- They are quite loud for their size--much much louder than my laptop's built in speakers.Cons:- On the Mac it's not exactly instant plug-and-play. You have go to the sound menu in system preferences and switch the sound output to USB before the speakers will work. Also, it doesn't always remember the setting. I've had to go back and re-set it several times.- I've noticed that most times I plug in the speakers they have a fuzzy, distorted sound initially. I have to unplug them and plug them in again before they put out normal sound.- (Note that both of the above cons seem related to how the speakers work with Mac OS 10.6. They may not be a problem at all on Windows.)Overall: I'm happy with these speakers and expect to get a lot of good use out of them. They don't work quite as seamlessly or automatically as I had hoped, but they remain more convenient and portable than most other computer speakers I've seen.

I was a bit hesitate after reading a review about it has problem with netbook, but I still give it a try and I disagree with the guy posted.The clip is about 19mm (3/4") deep, and I even worry it doesn't attach well with my Toshiba T215 and NB305.The sound is nice for its size and loud enough in loud enviornment.The clip can attach my netbooks but it covers the webcam hole, so I have to shift a bit when using the webcam, it's not a big deal.The reason not to give 5 stars is the USB jack location because it's prone to be broken (I even bent the supplied USB cable the first time I use!), so you must be careful when using the clip.The soundbar gives a decent sound boost for my netbooks and it's pretty convenient to store in my backpack, but the carrying case only protects speakers from dust or scratch.If your netbook's screen has more than 19mm (3/4") margin on the top, this speakers is for you.

The speakers on our Westinghouse TV are rather limited, especially if any other kitchen machine is sounding. I thought these speakers would be ok for the TV but as it turned out, we had to buy adapters for them to work. My fault on not realizing the TV needed stereo speaker hook ups. They are now hooked up. The sound is a little tinny and echoey (a word?). However it works for my husband who is hard of hearing. This is not a place where we wanted symphonic sound. We just wanted to hear what the folks on the TV were saying without maxing out the volume. Sound only comes out of one of the speakers. The speaker with the volume controls has no sound. Perhaps they are not meant for this hookup. We did not hook them up to the computer for which they are designed. They are nice looking. They work for us. If you need speakers for your TV ask someone who has knowledge in that area.

Overall very good speakers. I like how all the dials/ports are physically on one of the speakers and not on a separate module. Sound quality is decent for a set of 2.0 speakers and the relatively low price. They do not require a separate power brick. The speakers are kind of tall (nearly 12 inches) with a sizable footprint, but should fit just about any computer desk without issue. If you're looking for decent power in a smallish package, these are the speakers for you... they certainly beat any built-in laptop or TV/monitor speakers!

Not too, too, lengthy here. But folks, please be advised that this awesome system is/was designed for use with a computer versus as a home theater system with a TV, etc. Even so, it functions wonderfully as a general home theater system in my experience. I've owned half a dozen HTX's and haven't been nuts about any of them and all of them had bugs or flaws, true story, except this one. Simply said, IMO, it just the best made and best on the market. Yeah, you'll get reviewers who say that the mid-range, the balance, the this and that, etc........are not as good as this system or that syatem........but I don't know what University they got their engineering degrees from and what they are using for ears.......because IMV, they are looking for something fully 99% of the people can't hear anyway.Now for the con - but it's really not a con, per se. You see, like most other people I am using the system as a home theater set-up with my Plasma TV system, etc. I had a couple of issues sorting out the wiring but got it done without much trouble soon enough and, more specifically, I have wanted the control module to be much closer to me........like on end table or coffee table in front of me when I'm watching a movie or a video, but the cord to the control module is only about six feet long (attaches the control module to the rear of the sub) and it won't reach that far. I tried to use VGA cables and even tried to have a cable made to splice in, noting that to do so, that is, use such a modification voids the warranty and may cause damage to the innerds of the sub so they say, but I couldn't get it done - I couldn't find an extension cable. I even called Logitech and spoke to their CSR's who told me not to modify it that it wasn't designed to be modified....... In any case I am using the remote control for all the functions I need from across the room and, frankly speaking, just let me conclude by saying that if someone , anyone really, IMV, is not satisfied with this incredible system (build, fit, finish, features, performance and price) I haven't a clue as to what they would be looking for because this system, I firmly believe second to none. I'm a Logitech fan and have been for a long time and I never been stung by any of their products, but just the same, this system is a winner.

Boosted the sound of my Samsung netbook considerably (less so for my HP laptop, but volume wasn't really an issue there anyway). Couldn't be easier or faster to get it up and running (literally a matter of plugging it in and waiting about 10 seconds while the software self-installs). The aux input is a nice touch. Would highly recommend this product.NB: There's a one-star review here where the author reports Logitech said that the front of the clamp extends down further than 1" and would break a screen. Firstly, it only extends down about half-an-inch (I measured) and - even if it did reach your screen (*highly* unlikely) - the pressure would certainly be nowhere near enough to damage your monitor.

I gave this product a four as an act of faith. I have been very pleased with Logitec products in the past. I ordered these speakers for my daughter for Christmas. Worried that she might see the package, I put it away out of sight. Well, you guessed it - time came to wrap the package and it's nowhere to be found. After searching for hours, I finally gave up and bought her a different gift. Here we are in January and the speakers have still not been found. I have high hopes they will surface by her birthday!

So I will tell you right now: these speakers blow the LS21 and S-220 out of the water. For simple/casual computing, music listening, and YouTubing, this set is perfect. The sound easily fills a small room.I'd keep the "Tone" dial maxed though for some bass simulation.

I travel frequently, and carry a netbook with me everywhere I go. I hate the sound of the built-in speakers in laptops and netbooks and resorted to listening to music using earphones. However, being tied down with earphones or headphones while relaxing in a hotel room proved to be very inconvenient. I wanted good sounding speakers that were lightweight, easy to transport, with a volume loud enough to fill up a room. I didn't want to carry extra power supplies or batteries due to the extra weight (airlines are becoming very strict about the baggage weight limit and charging extra for being overweight).I purchased the Logitech V20 USB powered speakers about 4 months ago, as they seemed to meet my requirements. They were lightweight and came in a very nice carrying case, which protected the speakers when being transported in my check-in baggage. Because it is USB powered, it uses the netbook battery for power. No extra power supplies or batteries to carry for these speakers. I have a Samsung N110 netbook Samsung N110-12PBK 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - 6 Cell Battery (9.5 Hours), which is small, lightweight and easy to carry in my hand-carry bag, and has a very long battery life, so it runs the V20 speakers a long time at a good volume; over 6 hours on the netbook battery power. This is very handy during power outages as the speakers are not affected by it, using netbook battery power instead of external power.These speakers use one USB port on the netbook to operate. They work well and I've had no problems whatsoever. The only setup required is to plug the speakers into the netbook before opening the computer program you're going to listen to. This ensures that the sound goes to the V20 speakers instead of the netbook speakers.The sound is very good for such portable speakers. The bass is surprisingly good and the overall sound quality is good. I am really enjoying these speakers on my travels, listening to iTunes and internet radio. These speakers travel with me everywhere I go.

The overall quality of sound is very good - much better than my old speakers. They're not as loud as my old ones, probably because the individual wattage of the L&R speakers is less, but they're still better. Matrix mode button on the remote basically forces 5.0 from 2.0. If someone is looking for really loud speakers they should probably get ones with more than 80 watts per channel.The headphone jack on the volume control is kinda lame, though... the control is too light for any movement of your head/body/rolling around in your rolly chair - it just drags the volume control all over, which pulls on the cords. So I just use the jack on my tower. The L&R channel speakers could use longer cords. L channel cord barely reaches from the sub to the left side of my desk. They're about 48 inches, but the rear speakers have about 15 ft to play with and I have them on the other side of my room.

Subpar sound quality, but it's ok. Chances are, you existing speakers sound better (and the built-in speakers on my Macbook are certainly better and actually just as loud). These are excellent as portable speakers because the only cord involved is USB... no power cord, and there is NO setup. But I do not recommend these for permanent speakers for two reasons. One: not great sound quality. Two: It is hard to switch between these and headphones. This means switching between the USB drivers and your built in video card. So every time I want to use headphones, I have to go right click on the volume icon in the task bar, click "Properties," "Audio," and switch it from Logitech to my sound card. BIG hassle. And I have to switch it back when I'm done. For mac I have to go to System Preferences and click on sound to switch it.One thing I do like is that it keeps system volume and speaker volume the same thing. i.e. When you turn up the volume from the computer, it turns up the speakers, and when you turn up the physical button on the speakers, it turns up the volume on the computer. Usually the knob on the speaker and the system volume are two separate settings that do not sync together. But with these speakers, they do sync.

I've tried two of these now, and the power / usb chord breaks easily at the speaker unit. Bad design! I wouldn't try it again unless the company does a re-design.Update June, 2011: the company was VERY HELPFUL and replaced my speaker with one of better design. I am very happy with the upgraded design and with logic customer svice! I would definately choose their products in the future.

I have a network marketing business which requires making presentations/trainings all over southern California, etc. Before getting the HP Mini 1151 NR, it was cumbersome with my laptop & the support information used to promote my business /products... ...thus the much smaller/lighter/faster(no Word, Excel, etc.) notebook which is to primarily view DVD's & quickly get online. Big Problem: The built-in speakers on the HP were woefully inadequate, especially in coffee houses, restaurants or any noisy/busy location. AC powered speakers presented obvious problems re. outlets, extension cords & were totally useless in parks, the beach or anywhere outdoors.After paging through the reviews, I finally found a notebook user/review of the Logitech V20's vs. the previous laptop users. Given HP's limited USB ports, I also purchased a Belkin mini hub to power my HP wireless mouse.It's such a cool set-up because the HP (open) & the V20 speakers (the same height) plus the Targus DVD player all fit on top of my briefcase. But most importantly, the sound is excellent, loud enough in any environment & no need for any AC power. And the HP & V20's fit nicely in my messenger bag. Very nice job Logitech!!!

2 sets of these speaker systems have broken and customer service is worthless. They are good speakers until they break and then you are out of the money you purchased these speakers with. Logitech customer service is not only hard to understand since they are in India but have poor knowledge of their products and will try to convince you to buy another system from them. I have owned the z5500s, harmony remote and wireless mouse/keyboard combination from logitech and all have broken with no customer support. Buyer beware and buy at your own risk. I would recommend buying from another company if you can. I will not buy a third set of speakers from logitech. My next pair will likely be an altec lansing or harmon kardon which both offer superior support in the event of a problem. If you buy these speakers, you will see how poorly they are made and the ease in which they can break. My neighbor also had the z5300 which of course, broke. Logitech offered to give him half off a new set but he refused and bought another brand. Again, buyer beware. I urge you in the most empathetic terms to go elsewhere.

I was very plased to be able to order and receive these speakers from Amazon. The price was really quite good and far below what I could have bought them locally for. As for connection and hook up I was somewhat concerned to find out after I had ordered them that the connection options to my Mac were somewhat limted and not optimal to take full advantage of the 5.1 capabilities. I should have researched before ordering but did find some options such as USB devices to connect better with. However I went ahead and unpacked and hooked it up just to the single output connection and using the matrix option think it sounds terrific and certainly well worth the money. I have not tried movies etc. but really think for music these speakers are perfect. If when I try movies and find the sound lacking will proceed in ordering the USB digital sound adapers.

If you're looking for decent reasonably priced speakers for a computer system, this is a great choice. These speakers are far better (with much greater volume) than the wimpy speakers built into my laptop. The volume is not ear-shattering, but is more than adequate for most uses.features:1) The right speaker has two jacks (for aux input and headphone output) and two knobs (off/on/volume and tone control). If you attach headphones to the speakers, the speakers themselves are disabled and the entire signal goes to the headphones.2) The speakers seem very sturdy. The front is covered with a mesh of metal, not fabric. The heavy plastic base that juts behind each speaker makes them quite stable, not likely to be knocked over.3) The power cord is a simple AC plug, with no "power wart." On the other end, a wire from the speakers plugs into the computer's headphone output. No USB ports are used.4) The three wires (to AC, to the computer, and connecting the speakers) are permanently attached. You can't carry one speaker separately from the other.5) The right speaker has a bright orange light to show power-on. I find this light annoyingly bright if the room lights are dimmed, so I've covered it with aluminum foil.

Item was recieved in a busted up, poorly taped box. When I took out everything a screen was busted off one of the speakers and there were scuff marks all over everything. Judging from what the box said, the user manual and at least one of the cords was missing. They responded quickly to my complaint offering to take it back, but I would have to wait a while to get my money back and at that point I didn't have time to find something else.

I bought these speakers because of a lot of good reviews and the low price, because I wanted an inexpensive set of speakers to take to my office and listen to my IPAD. I was so amazed by these speakers, sound quality and appearance that instead I placed in our living room bookshelf and ordered another set for the office. The sound quality and controls are great for my listening preferences, and the volume is more that sufficient to carry the music throughout the whole room. Highly recommend, they perform at least as well if not better than speakers costing much more. These are NOT tiny cube speakers either.

There is no reason for so many high reviews. The Logitech 140 speakers have good mid-range, may be ok for classical music or acoustic, but for any modern music with amplified bass they will sound very tinny and underpowered. My original speakers are Logitech s220 2.1. When I compared the 140s I couldn't believe how much worse they were, absolutely no bass. I understand that no 2.0 will compare to a 2.1 system with sub-woofer. The only excuse for these speakers is portability. If you are going to have fixed speakers in one place, buy a 2.1 system.

This is a good size for a frequent flier. Big enough for great sound and small enough to fit in the laptop case. The "bag" that holds the speakers & cable is okay but I would have preferred a hard shell case.But the important thing is the sound. It is incredible. The depth of sound is impressive. With surround sound sources it does very well at the 3D effects. This could also be a factor of my laptop having a great audio system too. But I couldn't hear that level of 3D with the built in speakers.Logitech also put some thought into mounting. This can either clip to the top of the laptop or sit on it's base on a table. Very well designed.The power and volume controls are easily manipulated. The USB drivers also self installed on my Windows 7 laptop. There is another plug on the unit for an alternate sound source (i.e. iPod) but I haven't tried that yet.[Edit 18 months now and still working great even though it travels on the road with me just about every week. I keep it in the cloth sack it comes with and haven't had any problems with damage. I also switched to a Macbook Air and can verify it works great with the Mac.]

The positives:These are great speakers - fairly lightweight & compact with a well built carry case. The sound quality is great especially considering their relatively small size. Pleanty of bass which is what I like.The negatives:The controls (volume +/-, mute, etc.) are difficult to use - small (I have very large hands) and lacking in feedback so that you can't tell from the feel whether you have successfully made an input or not. A simple turning knob to turn on/off the sound and to adjust the sound seems like a far simpler way to accomplish these basic tasks. Design criteria 101 - first day of class ------- KISS (keep it simple stupid)!Re: Amazon - I had no difficulty at all returning the speakers "because there were things about them that I was not satisfied with) AND FULL CREDIT WAS ISSUED VERY PROMPTLY - 2 DAYS. NOTE: I took good care of the packaging when I unwrapped them in the first place and was careful to return them in the same condition in which they were received. Did this make a difference?????????Logitech make good products - I have several & I swear by them. Amazon is an exceellent company to do business with!

I'm a college student and was in need of some speakers for my dorm room, so I purchased a set just like this from Wal-Mart nearby just for $70, brand-new. I don't care what anyone says. This system sounds great. As soon as I plugged them in, my hall mates were asking to buy these things from me. They are a keeper!!! I recommend them to anyone!!!

This speaker is very good quality. Sounds great. However, I could not figure out a convenient way to switch between using this speaker & using the laptop's internal speaker. To use the Logitech speaker, I had to go into an audio menu & choose Logitech from a list of options. If that were the only speaker I would ever use then that would be fine. However, if I decided to just use the internal speaker, taking the Logitech plug out of the laptop usb jack would not make the internal speaker come back on. I would have to go back into the audio menu & select my internal speaker as the default speaker.Logitech should change this speaker so that it is CHARGED by USB but delivers its audio signal through the headphone jack. I returned the Logitech speaker that I am reviewing & have bought capsule speakers that do indeed charge their batteries by USB & deliver audio into the headphone jack. It is nice to be able to switch very quickly between internal speaker & capsule speaker just by plugging & unplugging a headphone plug. I just wish I could clip the speaker to my laptop as I could the Logitech speaker I am reviewing.

Great sound, but had to use some extra cash to get the adapter in order to connect the speakers to my computer and to my xbox. Not sure if it was mentioned in the post, but it should show the three connections or give the choice for getting the adapter also. Overall is great and sound quality is great also.

I was looking for speaker for my laptop to use within my dorm room at college. These are great I've had them for 3 year they have an awesome bass quality. I love how I can plug them into my laptop/ipod(whatever has an headphones output). For laptop speakers they take up more space then I wanted, which means when packing them using the original packaging (which is a medium rectangle box) they came in b/c of their shape but the sound quality makes that a min. con.

I ran across this item in the "best sellers" list in Electronics while searching for something else. I am closing in on the 2 year mark after my purchase of this system. I was surprised to see a negative or so-so review on this item. My system sounds as good today as it did 2 years ago; I've never experienced a humm or buzz (as one reviewer puts it)& I'm guessing my neighbors would probably call the police on me if I raised the volume enough to cause distortion.Its been a while, but I remember narrowing my choices between this system, and a much, much more expensive Bose system. Although I'm a big Bose fan (and owner of Bose products), this system sounded better to me.Perhaps the previous reviewer should check his connections or his sound card. If there are no problems there, then maybe he has a "dud" set of speakers that should be returned.I do have a custom built system that revolves around media (Intel DG965WH), but usually I'm running only a 2.1 audio setup. Anyway, the speakers are the most important component of an audio system, and a similar Logitech setup at my office on my laptop sounds great.I would say they are rugged and durable (as I have moved my system around many times), and even though I'm somewhat an audiophile, they sound great. IMHO, you could double the price of this system, and still get a big bang for the money.Next to the sound (which easily compares with my, well high dollar, home theater system)is the handy wired control. That has to be the best idea since a pocket on a shirt!!!In summary, this system jamms!!. Good for me when I'm at the computer, not so good when I'm trying to go to bed and my kids are on the computer :-) My wife hates this setup, along with my home theater system. What better recommendation could one offer?

Best thing you can get for this price. I use it in a mid-saize bedroom and the sound is mindblowing.Its easy to install and to use, the remote has a great range.I plugged it to my HDTV adn my Bluray so I pretty much wont go to the cinema ever again. Totally recommended.The packaging it big but not so heavy.

I loved these speakers. I had been looking for something portable with quality and good sound for a while, and these are great. No power necessary, USB connection. I purchase mine today from a military exchange that price matched with Target at $26.00. Can't beat the price for the quality speakers.

Bought these speakers for my father, who at the age of 84 has just started computing. He has a laptop, but with his hearing problems, often has trouble distinguishing what's being said over the laptop's subpar speakers. These logitech speakers worked great. They plug into a USB port for power, clamp easily on the top of the laptop lid, and their clarity and additional volume means he can hear videos, talk with us on Skype, etc. Good job, Logitech!

I've been looking to upgrade my speaker system for a while and had my eyes on the Logitech X-540 and a good deal to go along with it. As usual, I found everything I was looking for on Amazon.com.This system totally rocks, and at a very affordable price point - currently less than 75 bucks, PLUS free shipping, PLUS a $10.00 manufacturer's rebate! The X-540 is more than adequate for everything from gaming to DVD videos to music, and I've been completely satisfied since purchasing it in early November, 2009. The cable lengths could have been a bit longer, but I was aware of this prior to purchasing this system and the cable lengths were quite sufficient for my particular installation. Otherwise, an inexpensive set of RCA extension cables will easily solve the prolem.At first the speakers sounded a bit "tinny", but that was due to the sound card adjustments for my previous 2.1 channel configuration. Once you properly configure your PC sound settings to 5.1, these speakers will knock your socks off. Even if your PC is not equipped with 5.1 surround sound, the X-540's "Matrix" feature will fill the air with amazing 5-channel sound from standard 2-channel stereo sources.The other feature I like is the corded control pod which allows you to control power, volume, bass equalization and the matrix feature very conveniently from one location. It even features a headphone jack, so there'll be no more reaching down or around the back of your computer. Everything's right there on your desk!Overall, you will be hard pressed to find a more feature-packed PC speaker system at this price point. I give it a solid 5-Stars for sound quality, features, ease-of use and value. You won't go wrong with this one!

The speakers arrived DOA. Just got a buzzing sound from them. I tested the computer with known good speakers and everything worked. So these were DOA. Seems like poor quality control.

I looked around for a long time looking at speakers until finally purchasing these speakers. My computer's speakers are really old ones that came bundled with a computer so they are pretty crappy. my original plan was to buy a less expensive 2.1 speaker system but these were not very much more money for some nice extras. After receiving them and hooking them up to my computer I was very pleased. I have a sound card capable of utilizing the surround sound and everything worked great. After a couple days I decided to use the included converter to hook up the speakers to my Playstation 3. These speakers are compatible with anything that has a red/white audio output so hooking them up to my playstation was no problem. After hooking them up I was extremely pleased and have them still hooked up that way right now. I play a small amount of games on my computer and music but I play a lot of games on my PS3 and can even play music through it also(everything is in the same room too) so I enjoy having these hooked up to my PS3 more since they are an improvement over my speakers built into my TV.Now hooking it up this way with the red and white cables is only two channels, that means that there won't be true surround sound. Actually sound will only come out of the front speakers and sub woofer unless you turn on matrix mode when you are only receiving audio through the green cord. So my games aren't in true surround sound though I do hear the sound coming from all angles, which is nice.Also these are no high end system or going to replace a true TV/home theater set up. But for a teenagers room, a college dorm, or just something cheap these are great speakers to have.Also I have had no problems with the speakers malfunctioning, no humming or crackling and they are plenty loud.Overall great speakers for this price range and are definitely speakers to consider if you're on a budget.

Great sound and very loud. For thirty dollars these were definitely worth it. Easy to setup, very sleek looking and just swell speakers all around. If your looking for some great speakers for a great price, I have great news for you. The Logitech X-140 2.0 speakers are the best buy.

The speakers arrived just a few days after I ordered them. The price was very reasonable. The sound quality is good. There is plenty of volume. These are so much better than my old speakers. I am very happy with my purchase.

I originally bought this product to prevent further damage I was causing to my laptop speakers. When I dont have my laptop hooked up to my stereo, I use it for everything. Music, movies, TV. As long as you don't plan on pushing its limits and blasting the speakers then the sound quality is great. Use it for what it is intended (bedrooms and other small areas) and you have a perfect device.

I had an idea of what I would be getting for $70 and I am delighted to have gotten more than what I had expected. If your only option is stereo output on a headphone jack on your laptop the Matrix surround feature of the Logitech system is actually quite good at playing surround (background) sound on the appropriate speakers. The audio quality is definitely better than what you would expect for $70, but you're not buying yourself a top notch performer. I've got a REALLY good stereo system back home and the two system are hardly comparable.If you're not an audiophile, you want to listen to music (sometimes loudly), and you are looking at this price range I would highly recommend this set.Just FYI: I have been listening to the speaker set for about a month now.

i bought these speakers as a gift for someone, i really liked the fact that you could have used it on your laptop, without having to plug it into an outlet. within the first week of using the product, she complained about a scratching noise, whenever you turned the speaker up too loudly. now the reason why i bought them in the first place, is because the speakers on her laptop are horrible, and she wanted additional volume. Now, the fact is, when you play the speakers too loudly, you hear a horrible scratching noise, which defeats the purpose for which they were bought in the fist place. in addition to which, every so often it just stops playing for no apparent reason- i am really frustrated with these speakers, and stuck with them because the return date has expired. this is a very honest opinion, coming from someone who wishes he had made another choice- dont be stuck like i am, choose another pair of speakers.

This system rocks! The sound quality cannot be beaten, I have wanted these for over 4 years now when the previous model was out and these are just as good, fast ship. I also recommend buying a Optical Audio cable for higher quality sound.

This is a fantastic speaker system. The sub woofer is huge for computer system, but then again I use my computer for everything, blue ray movies, gaming and music. It has a control panel that lets you adjust setting with remote or touch and the best feature when listening to music is surround sound 2x it uses all the speakers yes all 6.1 of them

This is an amazing system for the price. The only full system that beats this out in my opinion is the klipsch promedia 5.1. Unfortunately they no longer sell that system. This is a very good replacement. Placement is everything.

I have owned this product since it first came out and have never had problem number one with it. I recently accidently fried the speakers when my generator put 220V to them. I am replacing this system after five years with the same system because you can't get the same sound out of something in this price range. Love these speakers.
