Had this little camera battery in use for over 9 months to date and it is used in my machine shop camera to photograph components and assembly records on a nearly daily basis.It still has plenty of charge capacity and my only regret is that I should have ordered a 2nd one at time I placed the first order.

I'll be ordering a second one very soon,very happy with the quality and value of this product......Howard.

Великолепно

Very compact and versatile photo machine. As with all my cameras,
I go straight to manual mode to run it through it's paces. The stabilized
Super zoom is great. A sleight amount of barrel distortion and
Heavy compression exists yet is workable. WB and ISO over 800 could use improvements. I still might get the Panasonic fz200 for low light shots.

Very cheap batteries, will no hold an over night charge. Only used twice and battery was dead in morning. Items sent back for another brand. Do buy unless you frustration and anger for a friend.

Very happy with this purchase. I lost my original charger when I moved so when I came to Amazon to purchase a new one, I was thrilled that it came with two extra batteries. That means that when I go to Thailand to visit family this summer, I won't miss any action while I am charging a battery!

Well a little about me, i'm a backpacker and was looking for a light weight, long lasting battery. Kinda stumbled on this battery and company on amazon.

My opinion of the wasabi battery by blue nook

I took a chance and ordered 3 of these wasabi batteries. Well i'm defniately very happy with my purchase. Well as you may notice the mah on the wasabi battery is 1100. This is basically how much power it will hold. The battery that came with my expensive camera was only 750 mah. I went to a few chain stores and they had after market batteries but they were only 650 mah and were double the price of wasabi batteries. After looking online at other batteries from other companies they were even less mah and even more expensive. These other online retailers and chain stores do this so you will have to purchase more batteries. Well I made the obvious choice of the cheaper priced wasabi battery. But I honestly worried about the quality. Well those fears were unfounded, awesome battery. I wanted to test them to see what they could take. I put one in my hot car and one in the freezer. They performed and lasted just the same as the battery at room temperature. I'm sure the manufacturer woudn't recommend this, but I wanted to be sure they could take it. As you'll see the wasabi batteries have a cool looking black label with green flame, but more telling is all the specs are printed on the battery. Notice other online batteries dont put that info on there battery. To me this shows that wasabi batteries want to brag about there specs and I love that. These batteries are lithium and quality ones at that. A cool fact about these batteries is that they WILL work with your stock charger. But I recommend getting a charger from blue nook. There priced just as low as there batteries and the quality is there to. But the main seller is they charge stock and wasabi batteries at a fraction of the time of the stock charger. Also blue nook's chargers come with the adapter to use in car and home. Also they come with the travel adapter. A big difference in there charger to other online chargers is the fact that the blue nook charger will automatically stop charging the battery when it's charged. So no keeping a eye on the clock and worry about damaging the battery. A small red light indicates still charging and a green light signals it's charged.

my opinion of blue nook

Well what's better than a great battery? Well how about a awesome company. Before placing my order for 3 wasabi batteries I called the company blue nook to ask questions. Well they knew everything about the battery, like I was talking to the engineer of the batery. Then the rep on the phone even asked about me and what I was using this battery for. Well we had a conversation about backpacking and etc. It's really rare now a days to talk to a company that wants to get to know there customer. Well ater that I placed my order on amazon. The next day I was looking online and I saw blue nook offered a bundle package. (2 batteries and a charger for the price of 2 batteries. I was like dang I wish I would have know that. Well I though what the heck and called blue nook and was told "hey no problem we'll throw it in your order and dont worry about it" Very cool blue nook! "big props" I recieved my order DAYS before the estimated delivery date. At the time I placed my order they even covered shipping on my order. Most companies only cover shipping if you spend like big bucks. Nope not wasabi they know the average guy isn't guna order tons of stuff all at once. In a couple months i'm going to be going on a week long trip and will be filming and taking allot of pis with my camera. I will be using these batteries for sure and will defniately pick up a few more when I can.

I'm surprised this wasn't supplied with the camera when I bought it (a few years ago). I wanted to use it for animation and needed the remote to avoid slight movement caused by pressing the shutter button. This works perfectly...and was very cheap. Excellent.

I am not a photographer, but have had a ball trying to figure this thing out. If you like working with bells and whistles, this camera has them at a very reasonable price. I have taken some really good pictures that I would not have known how to do prior to purchasing this camera, and have also had dozens of failures as I worked through the possibilities of the various menus. It seems to be well-built, and looks like it could be the last camera I'll ever need.

My husband bought a fuji camera about 2 years ago but never used it. When he decided to open the box the camera only worked when plugged up to the mains. I decided it was worth a try to see if a replacement battery would solve the problem. It did, and so proved a cheap solution to problem with a good camera.

I always owned one of the $100 Canon cameras. They were great at still shots that were close, and scenic pictures. However my kids are now in sports and I needed something more powerful because all my pictures were now fuzzy. I did not want to pay for a DSLR as I knew I would need another lens. This camera so far has been great and the price is perfect. I am able to capture action shots with the continuous shooting mode and I can zoom with great ease. If you are looking beyond the $100 cameras but not a serious photographer, this camera is well worth it.

I have used a D300, owned a Nikon D200, D60, F5 and D7000. Oooh Fuji!! Where have you been all my life!! This camera is just amazing, i don't know how i didn't discovered it before! Let me just put it in one phrase, the skin tones are AMAZING, and the colors, dynamic range and highlight recovery power is just UN-BE-LI-VABLE! I don't care if you put a D800 beside it, yes, the camera is not for indoor low light or for high resolution, but the Fuji wins in the skin tone department, hands down! I cannot believe there are only a dozen reviews on this camera. I am speechless once again. This camera when shot in RAW and put together with LightRoom4 is unbeatable, and the colors are just wonderful and contrasty. Another reason why i love this camera is because it can make my photos to look so much like film, so i think i got a half digital and half film camera. I searched ALL OVER the place for an S5, i have gone to camera shows where they sell tons of used equipment, and NOBODY had a single S5 camera. This camera is very difficult to get.

Yes, when shooting outdoor you HAVE to be careful not to over expose the photo too much. You would do the EXACT same thing if you were using ANY camera. Is best if you shoot in RAW, but even in jpegs software will definitely help. I completely disagree with some reviews bellow, it is preferable to over expose instead of under exposing(this way you avoid noise also) then in PP you get way better photos when you lower brightness, and BOOM!! That's when you see the amazing power of this camera.

Fuji, all i can say is that you made a BIG mistake by not continuing to produce more modern DSLRs.

After worrying about adverse customer reviews I finally took the plunge and made my purchase. I have now had the camera since Monday 25th Nov. So far the camera has done everything I have asked of it and to a pleasing standard. Hand held I have taken photographs at the longest extension of boat names which I could not read with the naked eye. Sharp and clear, and even when digitally enlarged still sharp enough to satisfy me. Indoor shots of people - no flash amazing. Well pleased with all I've tried thus far.My model has SR 33******* .My other camera is a Canon EOS450D ( UK purchase ) in combination with Canon lenses..

So far I'm really pleased with this camera. It has settings that are easy to use. The shots are sharp. The rechargeable battery is great. The only flaw I've found is that the sunset setting doesn't work that well. It makes the shot darker than just using one of the auto settings. For the price (and bundle with extra battery) I got, this was a great deal and I look forward to learning more about effectively using this camera for personal and professional use.

I started my photography with Tri-X in 100 ft rolls and a Nikkormat that I thought was fantastic. Missed the early days of digital but recently purchased the X-S1 and couldn't be happier. Handles a wide-range of situations with no problem. Still learning all of its capabilities but I couldn't be happier.

The X-S1 is simply a great, perhaps the greatest, of the bridge cameras. Literally everything that a much more expensive DSLR can do. The build quality is second to none, none! I used next day delivery and it arrived the next morning! Well packaged, with everything present and in tact!

Well I tried. Yes lighter than my D7000 with 18-200 and the super zoom "fun", but the electronic viewfinder not for me. Fuzzy once you are used to a pentaprism. The speed was just OK and did not enjoy having to choose burst mode to capture moving targets. I guess if cost is an issue and DSLR's are a bit much for you, this could be a good choice vs pocketable cameras. obviously many love it... if its your first step up to "more" this might well be your camera. Not sure what I was hoping for, perhaps a DSLR-ish experience in a single lens camera package...

I bought this mainly for it's car connector lead. Fujifilm X20 is a very comprehensive camera which means that you can sometimes use a lot of battery. I therefore have two batteries used alternately - being able to also re-charge one in the car during a day out with the camera can therefore be very handy. Works well, good value.

Fast focus ability, picture quality are very topnotch. No purple finching, auto white balance seems to work very well, gives crisp pictures and colors are not overly saturated like my Canon T2i's are. X-S1 has the ability to take pictures with nice Bokeh effect with its Fuji lens, it has nice manual focus mode which helps in many low light situation either in picture mode or movie mode. Nice movie features with true 1080p 30ftps capability. Love the tilting LCD screen and the very useful electronic view finder, which has 1.44 million pixels, better than the one in my old Canon T2i. I also love its ISO 400 and 800, pictures are very sharp under these ISOs. Until ISO 1600, it shows some softness, and ISO 3200 shows some graininess. Love the 26x manual zoom lens, the action is fast and focus is fast up to about 15x, which is very good and more than acceptable. With tripod, I can take stunning photos of faraway objects at 20x - 23x zoom. For 23x zoom and beyond, the focus hunts a bit, but still acceptable with a tripod. Flashes are bright, and I don't have white balance issue with this X-S1 camera from Fujiflim. Battery seems to last a full day of shooting (300+ pictures plus some movie clips or 400 pictures plus). All in all, I am very satisfied with the purchase. And, Amazon shipped it very fast in just 4 business days. Thanks a lot and will do business with you again when I will buy the D5200 or T4i soon.

This battery worked first time, but did not last long... It does not hold it's power and is now virtually completely dead and Im lucky if I get more than one shot out of it. My original Fuji battery lasted for 9 years and this one did not last 9 weeks !! This is very poor and it was a waste of my time and money buying it !

I have used the Wasabi Power battery packs for several cameras that I and my wife own. They work just as well as the factory batteries, they come with their own charger (and dc input for charging in the car - especially helpful on road trips) and cost a fraction of what original equipment does.

I now order these as soon as i buy any electronic device. You can't go wrong at these prices.

I wanted this to take my Finepix HS50XR but it was too small by about an inch.
It was not very well made either so I returned it and got a full refund - so full marks for that.
I then ordered a Lowepro Toploader Zoom 50 AW - Black and it is perfect for the job.

What else can you say about a battery...? It charges... and seems to last quite well (no complaints)... and gives me peace of mind when I'm taking pictures at my grand-children's school programs knowing that I have a spare! Remember... you only have to miss that one special picture to kick yourself over and over for NOT having either a fully charged battery OR a spare.

Thrilled with this camera. So much easier to use than my DSLR and picturesare coming out great. Taking pictures without flash and having them come out so well is amazing. Picture shot across a large banquet hall without flash and handheld came out terrific. Really enjoy learning how to use the camera. Paper manual with larger print in my only wish for improvement. Have not used the CD that came with the camera thus far.

I Really wanted to Love this camera as most of the reviews were Good,Camera has a large sensor others lack which is important for a big zoom.But after taking several hundred shots I found just about every pic to look a little plastic which is a shame,Also as a fluke one side of the stereo mike on the camera was doa..Bummer..Might try another if they go on sale.

I have been in photography for many years ~ 37+. I've owned and played with many cameras. Even though I have a DSLR Canon 20D and 40D with a great line of lens, my favorite camera was the Sony F828. Yes, I know about the bad reviews that it got for its CA and high blooming effect, but it was the most versatile camera I have ever owned. Yes, occasionally I would get the pictures that people were complaining about for the CA and blooming effect, but not often. Ever camera has its strength and weakness, and I knew how to work around this when it needed. It took amazing pictures that I could have never gotten with any other camera. The rotating body was ahead of its time and blows away any camera out there. You could take candid/stealth picture of the subjects to get the most amazing and natural shots ever with this camera because of this rotating body. And the IR pictures are just amazing. All was good till the CCD just went dead on me late Aug of 2010 on vacation.

I was devastated and didn't know what to do as I have been watching the camera scene the whole time since I've had my Sony F828 back in 2004. Nothing appealed to me as nothing out there came close. Now being forced to look at cameras in greater detail as I need a replacement and doing hours of research lead me to the FujiFilm s100sf.

Does it take better pictures than my DSLR----No. Does it have the versatility of my F828---No. But it sure is a nice compromise. I don't like carrying a bag of lens to switch all the time, which is why I don't take the Canon out too often. The lens on this camera is amazing. The 28-400mm is great for composing all kinds of shots and the macro mode isn't too bad either. My Olympus C5050 is my macro king, but this thing is pretty descent. The picture are very sharp (not as sharp as the F828 but very close), but certainly sharper than the-straight-from-camera Canon jpeg images. Post processing raw pictures on the Canon is a different story though, but I don't like post processing every single picture to get this kind of sharpness; I just don't have time for it. When I shoot a Wedding or something special like that, then I'm willing to take the time to do some post processing. That being said, the pictures are truly amazing on the Fuji. The colors are accurate and vivid, the contrast is snappy and the details are excellent. Shooting a subject out in the distance and zooming in on the lens at 400mm, I am amazed at how sharp the picture is when zooming in on the computer to review the shot. And the CA problem is nowhere near as bad as the Sony F828 was, so I'm very happy about that. And remember, I loved my Sony. The flip up LCD, though not as good as the rotating body, is working great for me. Some people, like the rotating LCD screen, but I hate them and I'm glad that this has the flip up only. This is as close as you can get to the F828 rotating body feel, as I can flip that screen up fairly quickly to take a shot. The auto white balance on Fuji is amazing. It is very accurate in a many different light settings. I hate that the white balance adjustment is buried deep in the menu system, but maybe this is why, as I don't have to use it that often. Otherwise, all the most important functions are with buttons on the body of the camera. I almost bought the Sony Nex3 or Nex5, but it fell short for me due to this reason of everything needs to be accessed by menu and it doesn't have a view finder (I hate that!!).

The only reason why I took a chance on this camera was due to one reviewer who was crazy about the F828 like I am and felt that this camera was an excellent replacement. He was right. Although I miss my Sony so much that I sent it in to get repaired, this camera is a solid keeper and is here to stay. I'm very picky about my cameras and the pictures they render, but this one certainly passes for me. I wouldn't have sent the Sony in for the repair if this camera had IR capabilities, as it fills the bill on all the other areas as far as picture quality is concerned and very close to the rotating body with the flip up screen.
You will not be disappointed with IQ of this camera and it feels like a real camera in your hand, not some plastic toy feel. I hope this helps with some of you thinking about getting this camera. I glad I took the chance and have no regrets..

The camera does everything a camera supposed to do. things are all right.the only defect is that the manual prints only French, I know French stuff are elegant, but there is only one problem with that.I am not from France, and I cant read French.

These chargers and batteries are so great to have with your cameras. Whenever I pick up a camera (or cell phone) the very first thing I do is I buy a set like this from Amazon. So nice to have a separate charger and the option of 12 volt charging. I take hundreds of shots when I go out - and one battery is never enough. Best investment you can make in my opinion.
