Was a bit concerned about low price and sizing, but it fits my S8400W perfectly, a snug fit padded on all sides and at base (where lens sits), water proof cover is handy and convenient.
Does the job with two pockets for memory cards and batteries inside the lid and a large pouch (vertical zip through the middle) at the front, that's a good place for an instant camera or wallet, though not sure why a horizontal zip wasn't designed there instead, That aside this is a great value case and I recommend it.

The batteries came charged, and I'm 100 shots into the first one without any dropped battery bars or change in performance. The X10 is kinda notorious for getting less than 200 shots per charge, and this battery exceeded my expectations for an aftermarket product. You really can't complain for the price.

I was worried with a brand I wasn't familiar with and it covering so many different style cameras that it might leak in the camera or fry the camera. But it worked! The charge didn't seem to last as long as the fuji battery that came w/the camera, but maybe we shot more movies with it. We bought this as a back up for our fuji xp70 water camera. For the price, I'd buy it again and use it as my back up for sure.

This Fuji is as big and heavy as a DSLR with a medium sized zoom lens. It's saving grace is its excellent image quality all the way from close macro to 624mm (35mm equivalent). I especially like it for wildlife on safari and in national parks. It's sensor is considerably larger than you get with most other super zoom cameras, but still falls short of APS-C. So, in good light it's great and noise only starts to appear when the sun is over the horizon or in darker indoor settings. Fuji has found the perfect compromise for most of my needs.

Sorry to all of the 5 star reviewers, but it doesn't make my grade. I have a Sony NEX-5N with a 55-210mm lens and wanted a superzoom camera for distant songbird shots. At any distance, this camera cannot produce anywhere near the quality of my present camera. So far, the only way to do that is a very high level DSLR with a very expensive and massive lens. I don't want to carry around that much equipment for an occasional long shot and I will not accept blurry images. When I zoom in on a picture of a bird, I want crisp, sharp feathers and a clear sparkling eyeball. If you don't care about the level of quality, this camera may be acceptable. Very disappointing, but not surprising. I'll keep looking at bridge superzooms as new models are introduced, but I'm not optimistic about any big breakthroughs in their IQ.

works perfectly and the two batteries last longer than the one that came with the camera. they don't drain, or very little, when not in use either. charger is so much bag friendly than the one that came with the camera. and great price!

I've had my Fuji camera for a few years now and the original NP-50 battery has lost a lot of its ability to hold a charge. I was wary of buying a non-Fuji replacement battery and I have never heard of Wasabi before, so I thought I'd write this review to reassure others who may have the same concerns. I've had a great experience with this kit so far and would definitely recommend it to others. The batteries work perfectly in my camera and are totally interchangeable with the original Fuji battery and charger. I recently traveled internationally and they performed wonderfully. Each battery lasted for an entire day of sightseeing and I never had to swap out a dead battery mid-day. The charger came with an international adapter which was very handy on my vacation. I have not used the car charger yet.

I get between 20-40 minutes more life out of this battery than previous one. I am not sure if that is because that battery is a year old or this is better? After 4 months of use no issues with the battery. I have also never had my camera freeze up on me with the battery. The stock battery the camera will sometimes freeze and require me to pull the battery to reset it. It has never done that with this battery.

I wanted something more than a compact, but not the full SLR. This camera seemed to fit the bill.
The problems:
Fuji celluloid film always had a bias towards blues and greens making their film ideal for landscapes with greenery and blue skies. This has been replicated into the bias of this camera, but the digital version of nice Fuji blue/green doesn't translate well. The blues and greens are a little sickly in hue, and actually detract from most photos, even as a sailor with a lot of blue in my photos the blue is too overpowering, as is the green.
Worse than that is the excessive chromatic aberrations that happens when using the video function. I shot hours of film at sea and during tours overland in the Alps. The aberration is so excessive that at times I can see literally about 3 - 5 % of the scene I filmed, there are white and blue lines which erupt from the pinpoints of reflected light on the sea. These lines extend across the entire screen to the extent that nothing is visible at all.
I contact Fuji about this, sent them screen shots of the film, got fobbed off, and escalated the issue to a manager who also agreed that there was nothing that could be done.
So, both camera and customer services have failed to deliver anything near acceptable. Would I buy a Fuji camera again, no never. Do I think the camera has any value - no, because I can never be sure if my subjects will have a sickly blue or green tinge, or even be visible at all if I am filming.
Extremely disappointed and thinking seriously about binning the camera and cutting my losses.

I have had a silver one of these for years and years. I carried it through high school, through a year in Iraq, and it has never failed me. My wife bought me a Canon camera that I took to Iraq with me as well, and it stopped working about a month, and the Fujifilm Z5 took a lickin' and kept on tickin'. The only problem I've noticed is that if something is moving really fast it tends to blur, and it's kind of hard to record decent quality video in low light situations. Overall though, it's a great camera that I hope continues to serve me for many more years to come.

I had been looking to purchase this camera for a while because I had read some very good things about it. I am not a pro nor do I do photography as a serious hobby. I do however like a nice camera for those times when I want to keep special memories alive. I have only had the camera for a few days, but it seems to be great so far. There is definitely a learning curve here, but I am confident that I will be able to learn what I need to learn to get the most out of it. It is heavy in the hand and a little on the large size, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.Also, I got it from Amazon warehouse deals for a fabulous price!!!!! No way I could have gotten this price for this quality anywhere else (not even Ebay). Way to go Warehouse deals!

I lost the original charger for my Fuji Fine-Pix 210T camera. It is the one I carry around all the time in my pocket. As others have mentioned, the battery upgrade from the 750mAh to 1100mAh is nice and of course the battery lasts nearly twice a long. However, one needs to be aware when charging that the polarity is reversed on the charger:
The polarity of the charger poles are opposite of the battery! Yes, Negative and Positive are swapped. If you look at the batteries you will note that one side has two connectors and the other has one connector. If you look at the charger you will find the same. Two connectors on one side and one on the other.
You MUST insert the battery in to the charger OPPOSITE from the way you would expect. Flip the battery 180 degrees so the two contacts are on the side of the charger with one contact, and the one contact side of the battery is on the side of the charger with the two contacts on the battery. You will know you have it correct when the battery snaps in to place and begins to charge. If you insert the battery incorrectly (that is with the two contacts on the battery matching the two contacts on the charger, the battery will NOT SNAP IN TO PLACE, and you won't be able to charge the battery. Consider this a safe guard.
For the price you are getting two batteries of 1100mAh capacity compatible with all the listed items and the charger. Light on the charger will be orange, and turn green when fully charged. There is no overcharge concern. The charger shuts off when the battery is fully charged.
Works very well.

This truly is an amazing camera and very well built, I really like the all-metal lens hood. The camera strap is nice and battery longevity is superb. The manual zoom is very smooth and all the controls are great. For $350, I don't think you find a better camera. I also purchased the Case Logic DCB-306 camera case and the X-S1 fits in there great even with the lens hood attached. I am extremely happy with my X-S1 and case. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, this camera takes outstanding photos! I have only owned the camera a short time, but at this juncture, I have not one negative to report. The only issue some people might have is it is very solid and not a light-weight camera, but to me, that just tells me it's made well and not just a piece of plastic. I think if you do purchase this camera, you will be very satisfied.

I'm enjoying learning how to use the camera and all it's functions but the included battery charger is a different story. I haven't seen any reviews concerning the problem I have. The camera comes with a NP-95 battery which does not fit the Fujifilm BC-65N battery charger that was also included with the camera. The charger was made for a battery that is about a 1/4" longer and the battery does not stay in touch with the contacts to recharge without my having to wedge something into the space to keep the battery seated correctly. Has anyone else had a similar problem or did I received the wrong charger? It's very inconvenient, I have to constantly readjust the battery to charge it.

I use these batteries in my Fuji X10, which is known for eating batteries at a pretty fast rate. I haven't measured them precisely, but as far as I can tell these batteries last about as long as any others I've used. They have taken maybe a dozen re-charges without problems, but I can't speak for their durability beyond that. The charger works well, and I like the fact that the kit includes adapters for cars and European-style receptacles.

We usually carry at least two spare batteries for when the battery inside our camera runs low, in case we see the shot of a lifetime and want to shoot multiple stills or shoot a movie of a scene or event.
This Wasabi Power batteries-plus-charger package is offered here at an excellent price and it is a real value for what is included in that price. We have scant basis (yet) to evaluate the Wasabi Power batteries' longevity in the field, but we do not doubt that the Wasabi Power batteries will be the equal of Fujifilm-branded batteries to keep our camera running.
We do, however, have an issue with the MARKETING of these batteries, which is the reason that we gave the product only three stars. The phrase, "Premium Cells from Japan," is printed right on the FRONT of each Wasabi Power NP-50 battery. The Amazon product description includes the phrase, "Japanese cells." On the BACK of each Wasabi battery, however, is the legend, "Made in China." (We posted images of the front and back of the Wasabi batteries on Amazon's product description page.) These batteries are Chinese-made batteries masquerading as "Japanese cells" or as batteries "from Japan." Decide for yourself if that makes a difference to you.

I Love This Camera. I HAVE USED IT ON A TRIPOD AND MONOPOD AND THE RESULTS HAVE BEEN STUNNING. i HAVE EXPERIENCED NO IMAGE SOFTNESS AT THE EXTREME TELEPHOTO SETTING. I HAVE ONLY TESTED IT AT ISO 100 FOR THE FINEST QUALITY AND I CAN TELL YOU IT PRODUCES VERY SHARP PHOTOS AT EVERY FOCAL LENGHT SETTING I HAVE TRIED. AT THIS PARTICULAR PRICE POINT OF $349.00 IT IS AN ABSOLUTE STEAL AND WOULD SUGGEST YOU PURCHASE IT BEFORE AMAZON MOVES THE PRICE UPWARDS. MY SERIAL NUMBER STARTS WITH 33 AND HAVE EXPERIENCED NO PROBLEMS SUCH AS LENS DROOP OR WHITE ORBS. A GREAT CAMERA AT A SUPER PRICE.The X-S1 IS SOME BABY. The more I USE IT THE MORE I can't wait to use it and Love it.

This camera has a real quality feel to it. I can't believe I got such a great camera for a little over $300! I think this camera was over $800 when first released a few years ago. I haven't had a chance to take very many pictures yet but I am confident it will perform well based on the many reviews I read about it across the net. I am an amateur photographer that is moving up from a point and shoot camera. I am not expecting this camera to perform like an SLR because it is not an SLR but should be a perfect bridge camera for the price that I paid. Amazon delivered it in perfect shape and it is one of the later serial numbers that had previous firmware problems resolved. Kudos Amazon!

This is the battery charger that the manufacturer sells with the batteries as a unit. The charger does not fit batteries therefore the batteries will not charge. What a waste of money!!

Throw the batteries away, as they are JUNK, the charger is good though. It does take its sweet time recharging

Well a little about me, i'm a backpacker and was looking for a light weight, long lasting battery. Kinda stumbled on this battery and company on amazon.
My opinion of the wasabi battery by blue nook
I took a chance and ordered 3 of these wasabi batteries. Well i'm defniately very happy with my purchase. Well as you may notice the mah on the wasabi battery is 1100. This is basically how much power it will hold. The battery that came with my expensive camera was only 750 mah. I went to a few chain stores and they had after market batteries but they were only 650 mah and were double the price of wasabi batteries. After looking online at other batteries from other companies they were even less mah and even more expensive. These other online retailers and chain stores do this so you will have to purchase more batteries. Well I made the obvious choice of the cheaper priced wasabi battery. But I honestly worried about the quality. Well those fears were unfounded, awesome battery. I wanted to test them to see what they could take. I put one in my hot car and one in the freezer. They performed and lasted just the same as the battery at room temperature. I'm sure the manufacturer woudn't recommend this, but I wanted to be sure they could take it. As you'll see the wasabi batteries have a cool looking black label with green flame, but more telling is all the specs are printed on the battery. Notice other online batteries dont put that info on there battery. To me this shows that wasabi batteries want to brag about there specs and I love that. These batteries are lithium and quality ones at that. A cool fact about these batteries is that they WILL work with your stock charger. But I recommend getting a charger from blue nook. There priced just as low as there batteries and the quality is there to. But the main seller is they charge stock and wasabi batteries at a fraction of the time of the stock charger. Also blue nook's chargers come with the adapter to use in car and home. Also they come with the travel adapter. A big difference in there charger to other online chargers is the fact that the blue nook charger will automatically stop charging the battery when it's charged. So no keeping a eye on the clock and worry about damaging the battery. A small red light indicates still charging and a green light signals it's charged.

Well they knew everything about the battery, like I was talking to the engineer of the batery. Then the rep on the phone even asked about me and what I was using this battery for. Well we had a conversation about backpacking and etc. It's really rare now a days to talk to a company that wants to get to know there customer. Well ater that I placed my order on amazon. The next day I was looking online and I saw blue nook offered a bundle package. (2 batteries and a charger for the price of 2 batteries. I was like dang I wish I would have know that. Well I though what the heck and called blue nook and was told "hey no problem we'll throw it in your order and dont worry about it" Very cool blue nook! "big props" I recieved my order DAYS before the estimated delivery date. At the time I placed my order they even covered shipping on my order. Most companies only cover shipping if you spend like big bucks. Nope not wasabi they know the average guy isn't guna order tons of stuff all at once. In a couple months i'm going to be going on a week long trip and will be filming and taking allot of pis with my camera. I will be using these batteries for sure and will defniately pick up a few more when I can.

I bought this has a replacement. On arrival the battery looked the same except for the outer covering. I am unsure whether this is an original but it does work as a replacement.

When I decided to upgrade my HS20 I carefully compared the HS30 with the X-S1. Even though it was bigger and heavier I decided to give the X-S1 a try even though, at the time, the X-S1 was about $200 more. I have never regretted that choice. The much better, larger EVF view finder, the "Ultra-Smooth" zoom lens and the the larger 2/3-inch 12 MP EXR-CMOS sensor were, in my opinion, the most significant advantages of the X-S1. All the other camera's features are great (I still have many of the features to explore and become familiar with). Now, at a comparable price with the HS30, it's hard for me to imagine why anyone would not buy this model (unless the 0.7 lb and modestly larger size are of primary consideration).

This camera is a real winner. Oh there are those out there bashing this camera for it's high cost, when compared with a mid range true SLR, but feature for feature, and factor in the positive advantages this camera has, and this camera shines.Yes, it is not a true SLR, but that is a good thing, ... No extra lenses to lug around, and no possibility of dust getting into the camera while changing lenses. Been shooting and using SLR cameras for over 40 years, and have lugged my share of extra lenses here and there, ..... Not with this camera. More than enough zoom for about any situation, and always ready to go. Fuji lenses are second to none and by the way, the bashing of this camera regarding lens droop or wobble is nonsense. Yes some X S1s have a little play in the lens when fully zoomed, but that is when purposely grabbed and wiggled, and if the truth be known, a little Lens droop is not uncommon on many makes and models of high quality zoom lenses. Certainly not new with this camera, and has no impact on the image quality.Bottom line, the Fuji X S-1 is an outstanding high quality camera with all the features of a high dollar big name SLR, and none of the disadvantages.

Very disappointed that it doesn't last long before it has to be recharged again. Almost like the old one that was tossed. Now I have to remove it from the camera when not in use. I am hoping that this action will help me not having to recharge it often.

We ordered this camera for our son, he needed it for school. Of course, our son tells us last second that he needed this camera for class less than a week. To our surprise we got this camera so quickly. He got the camera in time for his class thankfully. All information described for this camera was accurate and we are satisfied with our purchase. I would order from them again and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Bought this camera for me, and a compact superzoom for my wife. Wondering if this camera was worth the extra cost. I took several types of pictures with both cameras, so I could compare. I couldn't believe how much better this cameras pictures are. It wasn't even close. The viewing screen, despite being the same resolution, has a far better picture. The battery lasts way longer. Build quality is amazing compared to the wifes. Can't compare owners manuals, wifes doesn't have one. I think most of this cameras negative reviews were do its initial problems and price. The price now has come way down and those problems were fixed. So if anyone else was like me and was hesitant to pay a little more on a camera. Give it a try, its an awsome camera.

Only used for about two weeks, but they seem to be charging and working well. They discharge a little faster than the OEM battery, but not to much as to be a problem. Don't know how long they will take a charge, but we'll see.

Product is defective. Return process is very confusing and time consuming . If they don't honor return I guess I will just throw it in the garbage and learn a lesson. Only buy what Amazon ships directly.

I am very pleased with the overall build quality, features and image quality of this camera. The zoom lens is very smooth and easy to use, and as I predominantly photograph birds, I can now zoom in so much closer to the subject. Macro feature allows you to take really sharp close-ups. This camera has so many features, that it takes a while to really get to utilize and learn them. You can use the XS1 as a point and shoot or really take the camera to pro level functions. I did extensive research before I purchased the XS1, and for the price this has to be one of the best bridge cameras on the market.

Looking back, I purchased two Canon DSLRs immediately after this camera. However, the Finepix was one of the best during its time. It was easy to point and shoot because the results were clear, especially for outdoor photos.

This camera is SO impressive. I had a Fuji S9000 before and loved it, until it dropped off the table and broke the battery compartment. So, Fuji was the first choice for another one. The improvements over the S9000 are unbelievable.My friends have DSLR's and spend SO MUCH on lenses. This camera has a chip almost as good as a DSLR and can take pictures from super macro to very, very long zoom. The low light handling is incredible, the view finder and monitor are very bright and clear, the functions are more than I will ever master, but it's still great in full-auto, shutter priority, aperture priority and manual mode.It is everything I could need in a camera. Just a great bridge camera.

I just recieved this camera today on New Year's Eve, and just to let everybody know, so far this camera is every bit a five star deal. I'm somewhat new to photography,so this camera has a lot of features I'm still learning on. The camera is very well built just by the feel of it. I've been buried in the manual for around 3 hours, and gaining. so far, the camera works very fluid,very smooth. A lot of nice features on it. For the price, this camera is well worth it. I know their is features on this camera I will probably never use in awhile, but they are nice to have if you are planing on advancing.

Good value for money and help incase you out for a full day and going to do a lot of shooting with Flash ON. i hv them for fuji X20 and they work very well.
