I guess like any other small technological device, you usually get a good product, but understandably a few people get a lemon. I was fortunate enough to get a great working product whereby all the batteries hold their charge for a long time. Considering the great price its a winner.

Perfect camera case. This is a well made camera case, really rugged and should last for years. I bought it for my Fujifilm s8300. It fits it perfect. Not too big - will not slide around - just right fit.

I love that it has a hand held handle along with a shoulder strap. It also has 2 pads inside that I put the larger one on bottom to help cushion my camera and the smaller one on the side where the lcd screen would rest comfortably. There are several different ways to put this in the case. They all fit nicely without being to snug. 4

Also has a smaller pocket that can amply hold your extra batteries. I put my phone in there with its wallet cover and extra batteries and keys. That way I just carry this with all I need . I was very surprised that this case at that price would be so nice.

I highly recommend this camera case.

great price, should do us great on long road trips
took my son on a road trip, he took his own kid's camera and I took my fuji camera as a back up,
after he ran his batteries down he grabbed the fuji and quickly depleted the battery on it as well
I bought these as a backup to the backup for those who are snap happy!!!!!!

My wife though she had lost the charger for my camera so I bought this. (She later found the original charger) The batteries were a bonus and have turned out to be a must-have. My camera eats batteries when it has to use the flash so having 2 spares in my pocket is great. The car adapter works too so if we forget to charge one night we can catch up on the drive.

This little ditty whistles dixie for a bit of time; not sure as to why. I cover the area with a barrier in case of heat and bursting. Other than that, no heat up on camera for charge...nice price, efficient mailing turnaround.

I bought this so I could have a camera with the same megapixels as my iPhone 4s... thinking I could get the same quality photos (similar was my lowest expectation/hope), without carrying my valuable phone with me when I go to a third world country this week where I will be doing some research and need a camera to take detailed pictures of data I collect (fairly close up shots).

I was wrong. This is an 8.2 megapixel camera, but it is NOTHING in comparison to my phone. I should have known better. The pictures are very poor quality, I'm disappointed it's too late for me to order a different camera before I leave on my trip. I might pull out my old digital 2.5 megapixel camera from High School photo class to use instead. The quality will look the same overall but there will be more features, as well as less blurry pictures!!!

Cons:
-Noisy - camera beeps on every photo, no option to turn this sound off (not to mention all the gears grinding makes it feel like I went stone age)
-Image stabilization is extremely poor, meaning you have to have tripod-like (not human) hands if you want a semi-crisp picture (even bracing my arms against myself, I was unable to take an appreciably clear photo)
-Images do not look like 8.2 megapixels (apparently I'll have to research megapixels because I learned today that they are not universal)
-Camera struggles to focus at all distances but very close up, but if too close up all focus is lost again. Examples: at anything closer than 6 inches away, there was no focus ability, at distances of 12+ inches, focus quality increased. My advice for close shots is to go between 12-18 inches away, then zoom in to the image you want a picture of and hope it's close enough to get the details wanted.

Pros:
-Great for someone's FIRST EVER camera
-Cheap
-Lightweight/compact
-Big LCD
-Battery charger is compact and charges battery quickly

If you are buying this as a go-to for decent quality pictures and a good price, I DO NOT recommend this. Or if you're a pampered iPhone owner (reluctantly admitted, I just discovered I am), then I don't think you will appreciate this camera. Thanks for reading and happy camera hunting!!

I've owned an SLR for the past 14 years and have wanted to "upgrade" but without spending a lot of money on a new camera. Digital SLR's are just too expensive, especially when you throw in the lenses that I would have liked to use.The Bridge cameras really caught my attention about 5-6 years ago and Fuji-film has always been at the top of the list.From the first time I saw the X-S1 I fell in love with the looks and the different things it could do.I purchased the camera for a trip to Disney a few weeks ago. I am not a high-tech "geek" so I was a little intimated by some of the reviews on this camera. The manual is very user friendly and after spending some time reviewing the basics I took some experimental shots.All the pix came out great. Deleting the photos I did not want, was fast and easy. The zoom range on the X-S1 is absolutely amazing, as mentioned in other reviews the lens alone is worth the price.I must have taken close to 150 pix on the trip to Florida, not to mention 2 short videos. Again reviewing images is simple and easy and the video quality is great.... at least by my standards.I've since taken another 100 or so pix all of which are really clear and sharp.I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. For the current price on Amazon this is a great value and anyone who wants to capture family memories, or anything in nature will not be disappointed.Needless to say I am very impressed, but keep in mind I've been using the same SLR (canon rebel) for a very long time. Developing film is just too expensive today and this camera just does so much more.

A little snug on my Fuji FinePix S9400W, but it fits, keeps it protected, and is way less bulky than a traditional camera case. If you're planning to use this for easy access to a larger camera, this isn't the right product, but if you just want to keep it from getting banged up between photo locations, this is perfect!

I purchased this card only eight months ago. It was supposed to have twice the memory capacity of the previous memory card that was originally in the camera. The camera has been unusable for the last month, because of a "Card Error" message that I keep receiving, which started happening back in June -- only 5 months after I had purchased this product! After countless trips to the camera repair shop to try to fix the problem, the "problem" has been diagnosed as being a defective memory card. Nothing can be retrieved from the card. I had pictures of a terminally ill friend on this card, which are forever now lost to me. I have a family birthday event tomorrow that I will now not be able to photograph, because of this card's being defective. I purchased this memory card online, since there are no local retailers who sell it -- and, believe me, I have looked everywhere. If you purchase this product, you do so at your own risk. I will never purchase this product again.

I wish I knew how to take great photos with a super cool SLR, but I've never had the patience or the knack for it. So I always use the automatic settings even when I've had some pretty nice cameras. When you're always on "auto", like I am, you just need a simple camera and other factors start coming into play more than they would if you're wanting all the latest bells and whistles and interchangeable lenses and blah blah blah. For us, size was a pretty important feature. We take a TON of snapshots in our travels and even just for family events. So, when a camera easily slides into and out of your pocket, you tend to take it along more and you can take more photos. We bought this camera in 2007 and straight-up abused it. We had this thing all over the world. We shot tens of thousands of pictures with it. Of course, we do photography by keeping 1 or 2 good ones for every 100 we shoot. But XD card space is cheap and this camera is so convenient. We lost this one at one of our daughters' volleyball games and never got it back. We've had 2 or 3 different similar but newer cameras since and none of them take as good photos as this little Fuji seemed to. We'd actually just like to have another one of these, but 7 years later they seem to be actually MORE expensive than when we bought it when they first came out. What's with that? Bad things? The worst thing I can say is that the lens is in the corner of the camera. I can't tell you how often someone gets their finger in the way of the photo. It's an annoyance. Also, it only takes xD cards (I think). Battery life is good, it's solidly built and surprisingly rugged. And we get lots of compliments from people on our family photos and people frequently ask what kind of camera we used to take photos. They're very often surprised to learn it's a little pocket camera.

I bought the camera like many others as I didn't want to cart my DSLR body and lenses around and relished the chance to go from macro to infinity with a twist of the beautifully smooth lens ring.When I originally looked at this camera it had some bad press and its cost, although not exorbitant for what you got, was "up there' and made me hesitate. When it came on Amazon at $349 I couldn't believe it and bought it straight away. The bonus was that the earlier complaints had been rectified and the true potential of the camera could be realised. No 'droop' (although I think this was grossly exaggerated for sensational self serving reasons) and no "orbs" (again exaggerated by operators who didn't come to grips with how this thing operates) and images printed at A3, as good as gold. Serial number begins with 33.I really like the colours produced by the Fuji sensor and with a fast, Class 10 SDHC 1 card it flies. My observations are that RAW is not really necessary as the Large, Fine setting jpegs are great, and files a lot smaller! Video... entirely suitable for my requirements and bit of a bonus really as I mainly shoot stills.The build quality of the camera is superb and matches or exceeds that of my Canon in my estimation. If they ever bring out an x-s2 or similar it would have to be damn good to beat this. Honestly. In comparison the Panasonic FZ200 I tried out, while better in the video department, felt like a toy, too light, too small and plasticky with blown out highlights in the images.Amazon sent the camera quickly and it was well packed. The payment went through smoothly and I'm vey pleased with the way the whole transaction was carried out.All round a very happy customer.

Was very happy with this product, worked fine in my FinePix Fuji J-20 compact camera. the batteries last quite a bit longer than the stock battery and that is a plus. I especially liked the package deal at this super low price with the two battery packs along with the triple option charger 110 VAC, 12VDC and the European option plug conversion! Now we are ready where ever we happen to be.
