THESE BATTERIES ARE WORTHLESS.
I guess there's a reason the real NP-45 batteries cost (much) more.
I ordered a replacement for NP-45S, and you sent BTR-L140-JWP which replaces LI-42B, EN-EL10, D-L163, KLIC-7006, NP-80.. The batteries do fit my camera but go dead more quickly than the original battery. I was traveling and now it is too late to return them, although I have not asked about an exchange. Hopefully next time I order batteries I will get what was posted on Amazon and not A different number.
It is even the wrong charger, says it is for OLY Li-40B/30B, NIK ENEL10, KOD K7006. Even though it is not matched to my original battery it seems to give it a full charge but it gets hot. The batteries that came with the charger do not seem to hold a good charge and go dead more quickly than my original battery. Also they lose some of their charge just sitting.
I checked again where I ordered <http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004THA3PW/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4> and it says it is for NP-45S.
They were cheap enough so it is no big loss. Thank you.
The packaging and logo and even the name sound great. BUT! The batteries DO NOT FIT into the charger. That's what is important.....I was able to get one of the two batteries to sit in the charger, but the other one doesn't want to stay in at all and pops out once the charger is plugged in. And the original Fuji battery won't stay in as well.
The batteries themselves seem to be well made and charged quickly and seem to be working fine. As I get more experience I will come back and update if I find any issues. So far, they seem excellent. One of the least inexpensive sets as well. I have tried several others and these seem by far the best.
They are rated 1100mAh and 4.1Wh, vs the 740mAh and 2.8Wh for the NP-45S battery that came with my Fuji XP70 camera. That's a capacity that is 148% higher.
Given that higher capacity, I expected they would last longer than the original battery when I was using them. They did not.
With my original battery I was able to record a 29-minute HD movie, followed by another movie about 10 minutes in length (the file format limits the size/length of the movie). With the Wasabi batteries I was not able to record 20 minutes in HD movie mode before the camera shut down because it was low on power. I had hoped it might just be a bad battery, or they were in need of conditioning. Nope. Both batteries behaved just as poorly, even after depleting and recharging them a couple of times.
These are going back.
The only slight negative comment is that the video sound is not as sharp as others I have had. I will write an update after more usage.
I take lots of pictures of many different types and conditions but I will never use a lot of the fancy capability this camera has.
Thanks FUJI!!!!!!!!!!
Another reason I purchased this one is it useful for many different Cameras. I have a F200 EXR and it is good for that Camera.
They are always updating cameras.
One detail though, I find worthy to criticize: The old 5600 could be easily connected to a power supply but with this new one you first need to buy an adapter. If you want to actually use it, you need to take the batteries out and insert the adapter into the battery compartment. This is by no means use-friendly and clearly a step in the wrong direction.
Summing this up, I'd clearly recommend the camera to anybody who wants to take good pictures at a reasonable price.
I give them 2 stars...because I expected more after readdin 3 year warranty ...because I rely on this to buy ...because it talks about quality....and not working .
But they all charged up and I tested them. They worked as well as my first group in my Fujifilm 800 EXR camera. I am very satisfied.
These batteries are the same price as others that do not include the charger. The advantage is that since NP50 batteries are not as long lasting as some others, having extra batteries as back-up makes sense. Therefore having an extra charger to make sure that ALL the batteries are charging at the same time also makes sense - especially if the extra charger (included in this deal) may as well be free. I hope I have a chance to go back to Europe and verify that the charger works there, too, but the fact that I can plug this into a car outlet (which I know is universal to European cars) gives me the option to travel all over the place, including road trips across our vast U.S.A. (and Canada) with bunches of "back-up" battery power. Even a power-hungry Fuji X10 can be sated with 3-4 batteries.
P.S., As a side tip, find an old tri-fold case like they used to make for holding three memory cards (in the days when they were measured in megabytes). I have a case like that strung on my neck strap, which I slide to behind my neck or the top of my shoulder, and it holds three back-up NP-50s just fine. That's enough shooting power for 500+- full size jpegs plus raw files or 150+ minutes of movies, even allowing for lots of composing, flashes, viewing and editing.
It feels VERY cheap, but then again it WAS pretty low cost. I like the straight cable instead of the coiled, and the USB plug & cable feels substantial.
But the switch feels like a .01 cent piece of garbage, and I really don't see it holding up for a long time.
I will update after I have used it for a month or so.
