This headset is one of the best sub $30 headsets I have ever used. The sound quality is really good, the bass is good for the price, and the comfort of having these on your head for an extend amount of time is comfortable as well. The ability to hide-away the mic is also a nice little feature. The microphone picks up your voice fairly well and according to my friends on vent/skype, my voice comes out clear. The size of this headset is big, so makes it a bit difficult to travel with.So if you are looking for a good headset that wont break the bank or if you're on a budget, look into this one. The only thing is, I suggest this purchase to be for desktops only due to the size and the pain it'd be to travel everywhere with these, but more power to ya if you can haul these with you. These get 2 thumbs up for me.

The goodThis headset is nice for average use. I play games often, and sometimes listen to music. I don't focus on audio quality, as long as I'm able to tell where stuff is coming from, I'm satisfied, so these meet par for me there. The mic I never had problems with, so also satisfied there. It's not uncomfortable, and I keep it on for hours at a time.The badThis headset has a very low life-time duration. I bought it once, and after maybe 2 months, the left headphone ceased working, likely due faulty wiring. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and bought another, as I was quite satisfied with it while it was alive. I'm now on the second one, and I'm glad I got the extended warranty, as the exact same thing happened on this one. I'm definitely going to be returning these. I ended up having another pair of headphones from these same people, and it ended up being very fragile and the headphones themselves breaking. Plantronics seems to have a recurring theme of putting very little focus on the design of their headphones. I'll definitely be avoiding Plantronics when searching for headphones in the future.

If you are a person that likes to wear headphones for videos, games, music etc. for long amounts of time, this is one great headphone for you. I've been using these for 4 hours now, and my ears feel no different, and nothing has happened to the headphones. Comfort is great, Sound quality is good, mic is great. The bass is a bit low, but its the BEST you can get for around $20. Yes, you can spend $60 on good sound quality headphones, and they will be great; but if you only have $30 to spend on headphones, they these are the best available. It works great for movies, games, and music. Stereo is fine for music and movies, but seems like these days everyone is using 5.1/7.1 Surround sound. But don't get me wrong, I can hear footsteps of enemies fine, and also suppressed gunfire in-game. You can't quite make out if the sound is above, or below you, but the direction is clear as glass The casing of the actual headphones is pretty great. It's made of very hard plastic, and seems like it wont break ever. It is a closed-ear headphone, so it does go all the way over your ear, but you can still hear outside sound pretty well (when nothing is playing). It has a nice thick wire which wont break unless done intentionally. The ear muffs are made of soft velvet (couch type material), and not leather which I like. It does attract fallen hair sometimes, but it's no big problem. I gave it 4 stars because the sound quality isn't at it's best, BUT it is the best you get for this price. Don't hesitate to buy them!

I would recommend this headset to anyone who enjoys good quality products for low prices! Great headset for the money, almost purchased the World of Warcraft headset, but decided not to because of the price of this. I got these headphones a little over 3 months ago and I've been very pleased with them so far. The cord is sturdy, the ear cups are quite comfortable, and the sound seems great to me. I'm a musician, but I don't do any studio work so I've never used any high quality headphones before, but the sound quality on these is great. The volume goes loud enough that often times I turn it up all the way, put the headphones on my desk and use them as speakers. As a gamer these work great for me, the microphone works great and has built in noise-cancellation, and when you aren't using it it slips right into the frame.The only possible drawback to the headphones themselves is that they don't block out outside sounds at all. For me that's fine, although at times I've wished I could mute out my roommates when they blast their own music, but like I said before the volume goes so high that I usually just turn it up until it drowns them out.I highly recommend these to anyone looking for good headphones at an affordable price.

the sound is perfect and feels wonderful.i can seam to take them off, even when i don't have them plugged into the pc.yet it's hard to take a shower with them on.I just put a wal-mart sack on my head so they don't get wet.i think i need a longer cable................

I bought these headphones to use for extended amounts of time at work. They are extremely comfortable and the sound quality (good treble, deep bass, loud) is far better then I expected for the price. The in-line volume control is a nice addition too. On a aesthetic note, I believe the headset is constructed beautifully and the cord is different then most headphone cords. It seems more flexible and durable. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone; you won't be disappointed.

You have to be sure you have the proper connectivity equipment, this headset requires a dual audio in/out adapter in order I function properly..If Im not making my self clear there is one cord with 2 male connectors one is for the audio in and the other is for the audio out (mic)

i love this thing. it is very soft and it will take a few days or hours to get used to it. SOUND QUALITY: It's ok. i think its good for gaming and stuff. APPERANCE: its pretty big on my head but the colors are so awesome looking that they make a huge headset look good. Bottom line: Buy it.

This is my second pair of this headset, and it just broke in the same way as the first one did. The audio quality for both microphone and headset are marvelous. But the mechanical design and quality of the material is below sub par. My first pair broke at the slide-out area for sizing the headsets; and because it was three weeks out of warranty it couldn't be returned to them for repair/replacement. If I could find the same type of headset from another manufacturer, I definitely would buy their product instead of from Plantronics.

I purchased this headset to replace a cheap one that continually hurt my ears. I wear headphones for a large portion of my day both at work and at home, usually as long as I can before it becomes painful. The most important thing I was looking for was a headset that would be comfortable when worn for 5-6+ hours at a time, and this headset has exceeded that at a price significantly less than what I was expecting to pay. The headphones sit totally off my ears and the soft material covering them is very comfortable and does not get too hot during extended use. The sound response and microphone quality are totally adequate; I use these to listen to music and movies with no complaints, although sound quality is not something I'm very picky about. I use the microphone frequently and have had no problems with voice quality. If you are looking for a comfortable headset, I doubt you could do much better at this price point. I was expecting to pay $50-$60 but I am very happy with these for half the price and I just purchased a second pair as a gift for a friend.

I needed (and still need) a headset which had a good sound filtering microphone for dictation, ear cupping headphones to block noise from getting in and from sound getting out only to be picked up by the mic, and I needed it to be, at the very least, not-painful because I use it for significant stretches at a time.The mic on this product picks up everything and not in a clear, crisp, useful way, but in a way where dictation software has a field day, either unable to pick anything out or just making stuff up. dictation software is finicky but this is clearly not the software.The ear cups on this product are not made for human ears, except, maybe, little baby ears. So maybe these are good for baby ears but I am sorely disappointed. Which brings me to my final critique.My ears are sore, very sore, it has been less than an hour and because my ears are not baby ears the edges of the cup sit wholly on top of my ear as apposed to around it. This leads to constant pressure on the edge of your ear, pressure which quickly becomes pain.This product is a waste of my time and money. In an attempt to save money I wasted money on this.

My hubby has a large head. I was skeptical of buying these because I use them for gaming which means I wear them for looooong periods of time. I also do online schooling. I'm pretty much always online with these on.The squares are really weird and don't contour to the noggin at all. There is pressure created by the design of the headset but it doesn't usually bother me. It can give me a headache and there's no way I put them on when I already have one. My hubby notices the pressure a lot more but it doesn't bother him at all. The other reviews were right about sound bleed as well. I sit in my living room on my comp and anybody in the room can hear when I'm listening to music. That doesn't matter to me but I wanted to confirm that this is true.The real reason I take stars from this headset is the sound. It's just terrible. For gaming, that doesn't matter so much but I like to listen to pop-type music while I play games online and these headphones are horrible for it. It sounds just as bad as if I went out to Dollar Tree and got a $1 pair of headphones. I'm nowhere near an audiophile and usually don't notice sound imperfections when others do, so when I've noticed it, it's bad. The sound quality is tinny at best. I'll likely end up buying another headset and just using this for backup.

I am not trolling or hating on the company. I love the products and I have use Plantronics .Audio 355 Multimedia Headset and the sound lowers it self or turns off and the mic the same way. I have them for 3 months. I am buying Plantronics GameCom 777 instead because this is the only poor/bad headset from plantronics ever made from them. Even the cheaper headset from the company had made is better then this headset hands down. Look somewhere else to find an headset you like to get for whatever reason it may be.

I bought these as a backup for my plantronics 955 wireless headset.First the thing is huge and comfortable on my small head. I liked that. People could hear me on mic I liked that. Thats where it ends. THIS IS A GAMING HEADSET? The bass is horrendous. 2 minutes of BFBC 2 and I had to quit. The bass doesnt exist. An explosion next to me I could barely hear on 100% sound I even boosted the sound in enhanced options. I am no audiophile but what this isn't is a gaming headset. My 955 wireless will blow me out of my seat sometimes. This thing makes me want to throw it at the wall and scream GIVE ME SOUND ITS WHAT I PAID FOR. You'd think with 50 MM SPEAKERS it could do that. But it just can't. For skype calls its fine. For gaming its a piece of crap and you're better off getting something else.

Compared to the Logitech headphones that I had previously (and I'm a fan of Logitch) the Plantronics GameCom 367 has to be the best yet. The reason is for the price: you get comfort, how they muffle sound from outside interference, durable cables, and the ability to hide the mic on the inside when not in use. I would recommend them to those looking for a good gaming headset that is not over priced.

The product itself was great when it arrived. I shipped these to my husband in Afghanistan so we could Skype. He said it was comfortable enough for him to wear it for long periods of time. Unfortunately, after 2 months, the microphone no longer works. It was great while it lasted. Good thing we didn't pay full price for it..

These headphones work great, and mic too. I use it for playing WoW and Ventrilo, and everyone says how great I sound, the noise cancelling does a wonderful job. Plus the earphone sound quality is superb! for a $25 unit, there is no better, it works like a $75 unit. Super comfortable and really eliminates outside noise well. IF you have a super large head, the tightness will take getting use to, but you will, and be thankful for it in the long run. Even the wires are high quality, and thick/sturdy. Volume control and mic mute button work extremely well too. If you are looking for ultra deep base, you will not find it at this price point, but these Plantronics do a good job considering. Do not hesitate to buy!! Enjoy

I Like the fit of this particular headset, the sound is a decent quality and the microphone worked great, I got My set in July and i wish i could return them now since the microphone no longer works. All in all good for sound but dont depend upon that microphone lasting, at least not in my experience.

Headset is great for the price. I use it on a xbox 360. Since headset is a PC gaming headset it has separate mic and earphone jacks, I had to get a xbox controller adapter that had inputs for separate mic and earphone jacks. The adapter works perfectly and with a bit of a modification with an audio splitter for the earphone part, I am able to get both game audio and voice communication at the same time while having clear mic voice communication with the people that I am playing with. The headset has large cushioned ear pieces that completely cover the ears and a padded band that goes over the head making the headset comfortable to wear. I will agree with other reviews that the bass isn't as great as it could be, it does have base but is a deep low base, just not a loud bass. During gaming I can tell from which direction gunfire is coming from (left or right) just not front and back as this is not a surround sound headset but a stereo headset. If you are a PC gamer (or an xbox gamer with the ability to modify connectivity) and are looking for a decent headset, I recommend this headset. If you want a headset for xbox and don't want to modify connections, I would recommend a Turtle Beach headset. Otherwise this is a great headset

The headset operates perfectly with clear sound and comfortable ear cushions, but from regular usage, and taking the headset on and off over the course of 5 months, the plastic bends incorrectly, which lead mine to snap on the left side.If, through simply taking it on and off, the device can break, it is a terrible headset. Only buy it if you are perfectly willing to only have a headset for a few months.

Easy to use and no issues. A little bit stiff, but overall not too bad. I've used these during 3-4 hour stints with no problems hurting my head or ears. My sons X11's are much more comfortable but these do the job at 1/2 the price.

The bad: it is bulky, and it doesn't fold in to travel well. The good: Everything else. The sound is the most magnificent i have ever heard, the sound cancellation isn't absolute but you need to be able to hear someone intruding in your house, so it is completely forgiveable. The comfort on my head is awesome, the fold in microphone is a wonderful feature though i feel like i'm going to hurt it when trying to extend it sometimes. For the quality matching the price, i would recommend this to anyone who likes to enjoy music, movies or video games on a computer.

These headsets are just what I was looking for. The closed-ear setting is very useful when family or friends around you can be quite loud. Compared to my 2.1 speakers, this headset allows me to hear where my enemies are. I've even been accused of hacking when I can hear enemies walking/running behind a wall. The microphone works very well. My voice is very clear to other games. The microphone does take some time to get it just right. I had to change the settings both in and out of the games. In terms of sound quality they are very good for a GAMING headset. As the name says, these are meant for gaming, not for music. You can still listen to your music and it sound pretty good, but no where near more expensive speakers or headphones.There are only 2 cons I can really say. When you first wear it, it is really tight on your head. After about an hour my head started to hurt. This goes away after you keep using it and it "stretches" out. The 2nd con, which isn't really one, is that the plastic it comes in is extremely hard. I cut myself on the plastic and scratched my headset trying to remove it.All-in-all, if you are looking for a gaming headset that can give you the edge in online games, this is the one for you.

I love these things. The adjustable volume knob is a good feature that actually stays in place even if you knock it around (unlike on my X31s). Sound quality is good, I will say that the sound isn't contained in the headphones very well. So if you're looking to use these to listen to loud music right next to someone in a quiet library, forget about it.I've used these for several 2+ hour voice chats and I've noticed that my big ears start to get a little irritated around the 2-3 hour mark. It's possible that it's because I'm wearing them too tight on my head but I like how snug they fit so it's about trade-offs. Since they fit kind of snug and the earmuffs are huge you might end up with some "hair dents" if you're wearing them for an extended period of time. Overall, I've got a pair of $100 Turtle Beach X31 headphones and these, and honestly I could care less which one I'm using. Would recommend to anyone.

TBH the headphones dont blow me away. I have a friend with a 150 dollar pair, those blow me away. But really? 30 Bucks... I am replacing a razer ch(something or other) I bought a couple years ago for over 100 bucks. The razer mic just stopped working for unknown reasons. Anyway they sound great when I am gaming, better than my Razer even. Probably the best Value you can get. They are huge though, so dont think you can be comp gaming in front of family and look cool cause you cant. And I dont know what people are talking about as far as not fitting or straining to fit. I wear a 7 1/4 cap and these dont even have to be extended on my head. I dont feel any stress at all. If i extend them as far as they go they nearly come off my head. So either there are some pretty big grapes out there or maybe they are not extending them. Either way..30 bucks, no brainer.
