Великолепно

Easiest digital camera I ever used. I bought the camera because all my other cameras were slow to respond. When I took my fist flash picture I jumped because it responded so fast. I am used to taking pictures and the subject has moved on by the time my camera finally goes off.
The zoom capability with Image Stabilization is unbelievable. I took a full zoom with a tripod and another hand held. Can't tell the difference. Both great. Fast, great pictures, large zoom, very easy to use and Image stabelization, there is nothing more. No room for improvement.

I found the camera(Kodak Z812IS) to be better at taking picture than I expected.Well worth the money.
The only down side is that Kodak doesn't have a rechargeable battery come with the purchase. I was a little disappointed since the last Kodak camera I purchased did have a rechargeable battery. In this area Kodak let me down.

Great camera. Snaps pictures immediately without that delay some camera use. Dynamite telephoto lens and 8.2 MP. Don't know why the newer model of this costs so much more, this was the one to get.

I chose to buy this camera over the Canon with similar specs and after spending days trying to get a good picture, I decided to return it. The face recognition is garbage and recognizes everything but faces. For example, my daughter was holding a stuffed animal and it chose to focus on that instead of her(and I took at least 6 or 7 shots to try and get her instead). The zoom is nice, but it is not very stable and most of my pics came blurry. I just bought my parents a Canon for Christmas and will now be buying that for myself as well.

I researched and purchased a Kodak Easyshare camera a little over a year ago. I chose a camera with excellent reviews and awards. Today it is discontinued by Kodak and broken (broken, not damaged). Repairs to my $200 camera would be about $150. Buyer beware. I bought an expensive "disposable" camera.

I own earlier versions of this camera and they have performed well. The upgrades to the Kodak Easyshare Z812IS 8.2MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoomhave made it an even better camera! The upgrades referred to are the higher resolution, a more powerful optical zoom and a big one for me, the image stabilizer feature which is great when using the zoom lens at higher powers. It also appears to have a more powerful flash with greater range than my older models.

The camera is fine and takes great shots in all conditions. I was particulaly impressed with the video mode. For a still camera this takes great HD video. The down side is if you are considering lens attachments don't waste your money.
1: you need an adapter to attach the lens to the camera this you have to buy seperate from the lens as it does not come with one.
2: the Kodak Telephoto lens is only a slight improvement on the 12 x zoom.
3: The Kodak wide angle lens is a waste of space you can take better shots without it.

This Camera is not built to have lens's attached because of the adapter and the tunnel vision it creates so don't waste your money.

The zoom is so much better than our old camera, so I'm thrilled at how close this camera can bring distant images, but I am not as impressed with the image stabilization as we still get some blurry shots.

I purchased this product as a Christmas present for my wife. She loved it and keeps finding new things that it will do. The main reason for wanting this particular camera was the 12x zoom. We have a large supply of wildlife that lives cross the road from our house. We enjoy being able to take great shots from a long distance away. The added bonus was the 8.2 mp. What great shots! Although we have only had the camera for a short period of time, it has been wonderful. I'm tempted to purchase another and get rid of the other cameras that we have. Then we both can carry the cameras with us.

I like the camera. Would be nice if it came with a power cord rather than having to buy rechargeable batteries and a charger. The only other problem I have is the lens cap doesn't stay on very securely. As far as functionality and such, it's a great camera for the price. Next time I might step up and pay more for a higher level camera.

Ordered from Beach Camera thru Amazon, and camera arrived as scheduled, no complaints. Opened camera box and dismayed to discover that the flash was in the open position and would not close.

Received return # and sent camera back, and in good time received second camera. It is great and no complaints on it.

My only complaint is I am out the $22 return ( I bought insurance - didn't want to be out the camera price) cost, which was no fault of mine.

The pictures are crisp clear and beautiful. I know very little about cameras but the Kodak Z812IS makes taking pictures so easy. It is so user friendly that when you turn it on the lens cap automatically flips off. IDIOT PROOF!!! I love it.

This camera was an upgrade from a Kodak EasyShare DX7630, giving us more pixels and higher telescopic images, plus the option of being able to put on an even higher level telescopic lens. We haven't used all the bells and whistles yet, but we are very pleased with the ease of operation and the results so far.

Good price with great quality. I got it here for US$200. I'm just enjoying it. I'm not a professional but this camera makes really good pictures in a easy way to operate. The zoom is amazing, the screen is also good, otherwise, the camera is not so discrete, a little big to bring it together any time, I really dont care about that, because in my opinion, good pictures and video are the most important thing.

I have owned several digital cameras over the years. The Kidak Easyshare Z812IS makes taking quality digital pictures very easy. Although some features that I would like to have on this one are nor present (cropping on the LCD screen), I have found it simple and the ability to change formats are a couple of clicks away. I purchased it online which did not give me the opportunity to physically check out the features. For the few things that I need a digital camera for, this is a very good choice. Thanks Kodak!

This Digital Camera is very useful for you. It can make a beautiful picture with its 8.2MP. Moreover, its 12x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom is very useful. During my New York trip, it helps me to take many pretty picture. I love this kind camera. Important point is its price which is lowest price in this knid camera.

The Kodak is a fine camera without a doubt...this would have been an upgrade of a previous model. Its easy quick, and takes excellent photos. This particular unit was sent back because it had a factory defect. I am writing mostly to say the seller is first rate...return was easy without a problem...credit came quickly.

I went to several stores to try out different cameras. This was the only one that worked great for a camera beginner such as myself and my husband. It has an auto setup that works GREAT. I got it here for about $95 less including shipping costs. What a great find.

As most of the others have written, this camera has a great feature set, takes excellent pictures and has a stand-out video (HD) mode. And all for $50-$100 less than the closest competitor. It is something of a battery hog, but if you get the rechargeables you'll be ok.
Overall, I am delighted with this purchase.

I upgraded from the Kodak DX7590 to this camera because I was looking at getting a digital camcorder. This is a 2 for 1 since I am able to video tape with it, which I could with my other camera as well, but I was never able to zoom in and out. This camera snaps pictures fast and easy and has an image stabalizer to make picture taking so much easier. I love the 8.2 megapixels and the 12X optical zoom. Perfect camera for the avid scrapbooker who takes tons of pictures! Best of all this camera is less than $300 which makes it quite affordable for what it does, which I don't even know half of what it is capable of yet since I have only owned for a couple of weeks. Very light weight and easy to use. I highly recommend this camera to anyone who loves photography as well as scrapbooking. Love it!!

For the price, you can't beat the picture quality of the camera. My only complaint is that the AC-cover (small rubber part) fell off somewhere in Mexico on a recent trip when the camera was only 2 weeks old, and Kodak says the only way to get a replacement is to send in the whole camera under a repair order, even though it is just a small, simple, snap-on piece. We all know how much shipping would cost - so the 2 cent part would end up costing me $20. I will just leave it uncovered. So the camera is great, but Kodak customer service doesn't please me.

I have shyed away from a digital camera because I found them somewhat confusing and the pictures were always too small on the screen. However, wanting to join the digital age, I said I'd like one for a gift. This camera is so easy to use and the pictures are great! It has enough features to give a total amateur choice but doesn't overwhelm. I look forward to taking thousands of pictures and then weaning out the ones that don't fit my needs without having to wait ages to develop film. The ease of use with this camera is exceptional!

Has lots of features and takes great pictures. The optical zoom is powerful and the camera allows you to set the exposure as you prefer or it will do everything for you. The panorama setting is a really neat feature. I have already recommended this camera to several family members.

I am not expert on Cameras, but have had several over the years. Never really happy. This camera is easy to use,takes great clear pictures. It is not to bulky to take everywhere. My son plays sports and I love that this has the continuous picture taking feature. I get all the action.

The camera works really fine. The optical zoom is really awesome. Plenty of built-in options are available for taking pics at different light intensity...something which has been its plus-point. However, even though Image stabilizer option is present, some pics need a very steady click..for which a tripod stand is recommended. However, I think with the price tag it has, its one of the cheapest and the best make one could ask for!!

I bought this camera mainly because of its zoom lens, I plan on taking pictures at sporting events. This camera is perfect & practically foolproof. I went from oa old style instamatic 35mm., to this one, it is the first digital camera I have owned. It is very easy to use & with the included software it is easy to download your pictures. I couldn't be more happy with it, make sure to get a rechargeable battery & charger, as the battery included will not last long!!!!!!!

The Kodak Easyshare Z812IS camera is excellent. Everything that was advertised was exactly what I received. The camera is excellent with 8.2 MP and 12x optical zoom. The camera has many positives for a camera that is so small in size. Pictures can be sent to the computer very quickly without any problems.

This camera take nice pictures, and is very easy to use. However the video mode is supposed to support HD resolution 1280 x 720. the movies appear ok on cameras screen but when downloaded to Kodaks Easyshare software the video's appear choppy and are unusable. (revised) After checking the system requirements my processor is too slow. I tried on a faster computer and they worked. Amizon won't let my change my star rating but here it is ***** with this issue resolved I am very happy with the camera.

Bought this Camera and it was breathtaking. Absolutely love this camera. Takes wonderful pictures both indoors and outdoors. The only drawback is that the camera comes with a non-rechargable battery. It's additional cost to buy a charger and a rechargable battery.

I bought this camera to replace my Z740. After reading the specs I got it so it would be compatible with the printer dock I already had, after receiving the camera I found that it did fit on the printing dock, but it would not charge the batteries on the dock, I had to buy a separate wall charger to charge the batteries. That's my only complaint about the camera. It takes beautiful pictures it has many more features then the Z740 has.

I've had this camera for a little less than a month and I love it! It does everything. I posted my very first you tube videos thanks to this camera. It's easy to use and it takes great pics and video. The only little issue that I have is that I'm still trying to figure out the formatting stuff.

Huge improvement over our other camera, a Canon A410, in its recovery time between pictures. We love the quality of the Canon images, but are very glad we upgraded to the Kodak.
