I love this camera! I have a bigger digital camera but this is much easier to use. Digital zoom and can work with one hand. Bought this for a cruise where we can only use fixed lens.

It doesn't work very well. I plugged it into the USB ports on my laptop and my PC and then I tried it from the mains supply via the adaptor into the electric socket and it takes ages for the battery charging light on my camera to light up and sometimes it doesn't come on at all, no matter how much I wiggle the connector around. I have another one - which DOES work - but I wanted this as a spare so I could keep it in my laptop bag to charge my two camera batteries when I'm away because I forgot to take the charging lead on my recent trip abroad and had to buy a very expensive charger (which I left with my hosts) to use while I was over there. Now I've put the original cable (which does work) into my laptop bag and I have to keep taking it back out whenever I need to charge a battery.

Wish I had read the comments before I ordered. Doesn't fit my V1003 either. Lesson learned, read comments first. However, it was only $3 and some change and shipped quickly. I'm sure I have something around here that it will work with.

I received my item after tracking it down witch was my fault for not checking my mailing address for typos. Anyway product works & functions the best part is I called like 10 local retail stores to purchase a charger for my digital camera & all of them quoted me prices between $30-40 bucks!! If I was made out of money maybe but since I'm not Amazon is my go-to for good product's at a good price.

I got 6 years out of this camera before it started giving me trouble. Six years people!!! That is amazing for anything to last that long these days. One day this summer I was taking a picture and the flash made the loudest sound you've ever heard, the screen went black and after that it wouldn't open when powered on. :( It was a sad day. So I'm currently on the hunt for one exactly like it. Hard to come across them still in mint condition but I am confident. It is absolutely THE only camera I will own. It has taken thousands of photos from trips, holidays and our four kids. You won't be disappointed if you can find one of these. Really one of the best models.

Product is good. Very fast shipping through prime, but the original description said it would have the battery pack, the item we received has no battery. I guess I have to find a battery pack and buy it separately???

Snapped after a few days. I would give it no stars if I could. I felt I was damaging my camera every time I stuck it in. The USB end was sticky, it was shorter than advertised, and the U-8 end failed to charge my camera - nearly snapped inside the port. DO NOT buy anything from this seller.

The power adapter arrived quickly and works perfectly. I inherited a Kodak Easyshare camera without a charger and was taking a vacation and needed a small camera that would fit in a pocket. Without a charger, it would have been impossible. This charger worked perfectly and I was able to grab some great pictures.

This battery & charger set have enabled me to use my digital camera without any fear of a low battery. The charge lasts for numerous pictures and the charging takes only a couple of hours whereas my last charger took overnight.

I've had this camera for about five years, I got it refurbished for about $130, which was a good steal back then. It's still in great shape, with whatever small glitches I blame on the refurbished factor. I've never owned a Canon, but I know they are all high quality cameras, but I feel like you can make this Kodak work in wonderful ways.

Photos: The pictures from this camera can be awesome if you use the right settings. The SMART mode is helpful especially if you're trying to take a nice quick picture. It has auto focus for macro or landscape, low lighting, etc. But I've found that under the SMART setting, you get really noisy photos under low light. So in order to get a nice shot in that case, you'd have to use one of the Scene modes or the Program mode. I love messing around with the Program mode because you can get all the settings however you want and your pictures can come out great. I would even compare some of the pictures with some DSLR photos. You just have to know how to take them. This Kodak camera came with a mini tripod which I've used on occasion, and it's really nifty! It has adjustable legs, and I've been able to take some beautiful long-time exposure pictures of scenery in low light. I wish I could share some of them here. The hardware is easy to use, however, some people have trouble distinguishing the shoot button from the power button when I ask them to take a picture for me. The flash is bright but good. The screen is very nice, bright and clear - I've had a screen protector on for most of the time, but overall the camera is extremely sturdy. I've definitely dropped it a few times, even on concrete, and there's barely any damage except for tiny scratches.

Video: The quality is pretty good, it can record in 720px which is HD. I really like the sound quality from the mic. I've recorded some artists at concerts and it sounds pretty good. Sometimes the focus goes in and out, but there are settings if you want auto, still, or continuous focus, which helps out a lot.

Battery life: I haven't had a problem with the original battery. I still use the same one. And like I've mentioned, I've taken this camera to concerts and I've been able to record a good amount of footage on one battery recharge. It's hard to estimate battery life though. I've taken it to many events such as weddings, sporting events, hiking, and usually it'll last me the whole day.

This camera was an impulse by at Giant Eagle. I never had a digital camera before. I have had a Polaroid but they don't make the film any more. I have my mother's 35mm film camera and like it. But for my first digital, this camera is great. I take great pictures while on the biking trails around Pittsburgh PA and many pictures of my cats. I agree that you can't see the image in the viewing screen. But otherwise, I love this camera. I found this model while searching for an additional memory card. I use the zoom quite a bit and even a selfee feature. I just recently tried the video feature in the house and can't wait to try it in a real situation. I have had this camera for many years now.

I have Nikon dslr camera, very heavy and expensive, not for everyday use who likes to take pictures a lot, so I wanted something easy and simple after my Samsung exhibit phone lost its mind, which used to take great pictures. I read some of the reviews, and some said picture quality is good. So, I bought the camera but if you have taken picture with iphone or Samsung galaxy or Samsung exhibit, this camera is nowhere close to the picture quality of the above mentioned ones. And currently I use blackberry Torch, picture clarity of even torch is better than this camera, not happy.

I carried this camera with me on motorcycle trips all over the country for 6 years. I didn't have a single complaint about it. The zoom was detailed, with a stop to let you know when crossing from optical to digital. The AF was fast and accurate. The battery system is quite versatile, allowing you to use a rechargeable OR standard AA alkaline batteries.
