This is advertised as a Samsung ML-2010D OEM toner cartridge. OEM means manufactured by the original manufacture. It does not say "compatible" in the advertisement.This was offered by Unbeatable Sales Inc. (not Amazon)It is in reality a LD-2010UNIV. I brought 2 and could of saved $25 by buying it elsewhere IF I WANTED a "compatible" cartridge. I've had bad luck in the past with non-OEM cartidges and chose this because it was a good price for the Samsung cartridge.BUYER BEWARE of UNBEATABLESALE

I HATE this printer. We have had nothing but problems since day one. The very first day we hooked it up, the transfer unit/belt was bad. We would have to wait days for a new one (never been used before) so we opted to exchange the printer. We chalked it up to poor shipping methods.The fax machine steals our phone calls all the time! We have spent hours on the phone with technical support and they cannot solve this problem. And I mean, I've made outgoing calls and been on the phone for 20 minutes when the machine transfers my voice call to the fax machine! We've had to unplug the machine because it has interfered with business more than helped! We have been on the phone WITH support when the fax machine stole our call! And, as far as customer support is concerned, we have even been transferred and left on hold for 45 mintues only to be disconnected! They have made empty promises to call us back on a number of occassions, and then have no record of making such promises!The manual feed tray constantly jams! This is frustrating and concerning since, after the jam, that d*** "transfer belt error" comes up again. We go thru a routine of unplugging the machine, allowing it time to warm up and starting the process over. Even more frustrating, we cannot override the manual feed option! The manual cannot help us and their own technical support cannot help us! I've never used another machine that wouldn't allow you to override your manual feed option. I do not want to manual feed, especially with the headache it causes!This machine was a poor choice on our part. And I thought I did my research! I will NEVER buy samsung again!POOR QUALITY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/SUPPORT!!!! BUYER BEWARE!

I have two of these printers running constantly. I have run at least 20K pages through each. I like the quality of the printing, the software that comes with the printer, and even the easy way to register the printer with Samsung online. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PAPER JAMS! This seems to be a common occurance with some reviewers; it just has not happened to me.Cons: cannot do auto duplex, although it will do "manual" duplex and walks you through how to do so. Also, as the toner runs out, there is no on-line indicator that the toner is low.Pros: running a page through twice is EASY. Also, putting in computer cards, envelopes, etc. DOES NOT require removing the paper tray. I really like that.I have ordered two more of these printers - for the simple fact that the cost of the printer (and possible future failure of the fuser unit) is CHEAPER than buying the toner cartridges itself. $70 is a STEAL for this printer!!

If you bought an early version of this printer like I did, the day it came out, you have experienced some frustrations, but it works OK and for me it saved a ton of deskspace, so it was fine.It had some issues with network scanning and dropping jobs so I was happy to find a firmware update in July.Unfortunately, there is a typo in the example indicating that L4 date code is April 2007 when in fact it is April 2006.The instructions say to apply the firmware to all printers before March 2008 with a warning underneath not to apply it to 2006 printers.Long story short, it still prints, the other functions work better, graphics print fine or better, but text looks like it is in bold.Since the warranty is expired, diagnostics cost $80 with the total repair $80 to $160 if they can reflash the firmware and more if they have to replace the main board.Lovely!

Purchased this from Staples for $49.99. I have had it for 6 months and absolutely love it. What was Staples thinking when they sold it to me so cheap?Used the USB connection for the first 3 months until opened a small office. Now it sits on the network with 12 other Users. The speed is just right for a color laser jet. Quality is good. And installation on all computers was a cake walk.Very happy.

This product was an actual Samsung toner cartridge, so it worked perfectly with my ML-2510 printer. I have tried the "same as" cartridges before and they seem to cause too many problems with my printers. It's worth the extra bucks to get the real thing.

I'm not sure about Samsung printers anymore. I bought the 2010's predecessor, the 1210, about five years ago (I think it was about $120 at the time, which seemed like a pretty good deal for a laser printer). It performed decently for about three years, and then one day, it stopped sucking in the paper. Because I had a home-based business and really needed a printer, I went out and bought the then-current 2010. This was exactly two years ago. Now, the 2010 is giving me a cryptic "LSU error" message. It seems to function normally, sucks in the paper, and before it can print, an error message pops up on my screen. A cursory search for information suggests a grim diagnosis: the laser scanner unit probably needs to be replaced and would cost as much as a new printer.I have had pretty good luck with Samsung products generally, but it does seem that printers these days are more or less disposable. Two to three years of light to moderate use, and then they croak. At my last job, we had an ancient Hewlett-Packard printer that weighed about 25 pounds and printed 8 ppm, but it was indestructible and still printed out nice clean copies. Not too many printers are built to last these days, I don't think. To be fair, I didn't pay a whole lot for either Samsung printer, but sheesh--what pieces of junk.

Great performer for text etc., haven't printed much graphics with it. We have used this for about 6-8 months now, with 2 Macs and one Win XP machine. Prints flawless with XP or OS X Tiger and Leopard.It's a little noisy when printing, but immediately silent afterward. Very fast to print the first page and every other to follow. Have to mark one star down as it does not have a toner saver function button on the device, as the former ML-2010 we had. This one you can do toner save mode only via software print settings, which only works on PC, not on Mac, which are the main machines in our place. Stupid!Anyway, the printer gets 5 stars for printing performance. We use 100% recycled paper and did not have one jam yet, probably printing about 300-500/month for 6 months so far. We even use old prints for printing on the backside to save paper and the environment and it eats them all flawlessly. Very small. I preferred the ML-2010 beige color over this grey but that's cosmetics, this one has the larger paper try (250), which is nice.

I learned years ago to stick with the OEM toners and inks and they have kept my equipment running like new. It cost a little more but really saves in the long run. I can't tell you how many printers etc I had pitched before.

I bought this machine from officemax for its sale and very please so far. The machine is easy to install. No paper jam. I use this to replace my Brother -1440. The brother need to change drum right after the toner. It is just too costy and I decide to get rid of it when I see this on sale. It is a little bit noisy. But by the price I paid, I am very happy with it.

We have had the machine for about a week now. Overall, it is a great machine, and does everything we need it to do and more. I have tried quite a few MFCs in the past few months, and this one is by far the best. Some items to note:Pros:- Envelopes have a separate manual feed on the front and prints them with minimal curling.- Fax from PC - According to the Samsung Website, this machine does not support Faxing from the PC through the machine. However, if you install the SmarThru software that is included with the printer, you can fax from the PC directly with no problem. There is actually a large amount of control over the machine that you have from the PC. You can set it to print fax confirmation pages for send or receive, modify the phone book from the PC, etc...- Easy to set up over the network. Using the included software, it took about 15 minutes per PC to set up. Set a static IP out of the DHCP range of the router using the included SetIP software, and is working great. One problem with installing noted below.Neutral:- Scan over Network works great, but the driver is limited. It can only scan up to 300DPI. It is already a favorite feature here for documents, and works seamlessly. Is great for documents, but this isn't something for scanning your pictures over the network.Cons:- It appears to use the same laser printer mechanism as the xerox phaser line, so it has the same issue with the paper that is printed being slightly curled on the top and bottom.- SmarThru software did not install during the installation process, even though it was selected to install. After installing the drivers, etc, I had to explore the CD and install SmarThru software separately. Works great after it is installed though.- The USB port on the front is good for printing from a thumbdrive, but scanning to the USB drive doesn't really work well. Only scans as JPG file, can't name, confusing.- The paper tray is 150 pages. I mean, seriously. It is way too small for a network, small-office machine that this presents itself as. There is no option for an additional paper tray as far as I can tell.Overall, this is a great machine, and I am recommending it to all my clients in the future. Does everything it says it does, the way it is supposed to, and haven't had a problem with it yet. Surprisingly easy to work with after dealing with other MFC's on the market which appear to be designed by drunk monkeys.

I bought this printer 2 months ago after doing couple of days of intense survey to find a printer that is cheap and reliable. The reviews I read, on various reputed websites, regarding this printer were mostly positive. Apart from the fact that the printer's graphic printing is below par, the text printing according to various reviewers was very good which is actually true. In addition printer, according to the manufacturer's provides cartridge for around 4000 pages which is great amount for an individual user. The printer however, does NOT comes with 4000 page cartridge but 1500! Please keep this in mind before buying this printer as the reviews by the manufactures are mis-leading.I have restrained myself writing a negative review but the problem started only 10-12 days after I bought this printer. Apparently the paper has a habit of getting stuck in the machine while printing. When this happened first couple of times I thought it was accidental. However, this has been happening much more frequently and it has now come to a point that it takes me an hour sometimes to get the paper removed from the machine as it gets all torn while coming out and most of it is stuck inside.The reason for this is, from my understanding, that the Samsung ML-2250 model gets very hot which affects the paper printing and paper gets all severely crumpled when it comes out.After re-reading other reviews more carefully, I realized that quite a few folks had same kind of problem related with this printer. That is why in my opinion, although this printer looks fantastic from the outside, it has some serious mechanical design problems.For people who already have this printer, my suggestion would be to open the back lid for printing paper. Apparently when the machine gets too hot (~380-400F) its easier to get paper come out un-stuck if the back lid of the printer is open but the trade-off of doing this is that the paper comes out from back than the proper front side.July 2007: Now less than 2 months after I wrote the above, my printer went dead on me. I also phoned Customer service of Samsung and had to deal with an un-polite representative who was of no help. Now I have ended up binning the printer as I got no help from Samsung and have bought a new laser printer from Dell.Overall I had a terrible experience with this printer and Samsung's customer service. Please ignore this printer at all cost...

The printer is fairly quick for its class, although it slows down a bit when you use it at 1200dpi. Text output is crisp 600 or 1200dpi. The toner save function lightens the text, but it's OK for general use. For resumes and correspondence, turn off toner save AND go to advanced settings and darken the text too. I found that even with toner save off, the text was lighter than what I'm used to with expensive HPs. Graphics just plain suck, so please stay away from this printer. The warm-up time is quite long, especially if the weather is cold, ie. I have my desk near the window, so it's a little drafty, so it takes more than 45 sec to warm up, a little unnerving when it normally takes about 10 sec. This printer is quite loud in it's warm up too, but not terribly more so than your regular workgroup printer. This printer get hot, and a little disturbingly so. Haven't had a problem with overheating, but it does worry me occassionally. Because of the high heat, the printer tends to put out an strong odor, like what you're used to with a laser printer, but it's much stronger. I had only one paper jam while I've had this printer for 5 months. But the paper jam was very difficult to clear, some of the rollers were locked in position, so I had to use good old brute force to rip the paper out. The manual feed tray is very convenient, but I found that lower quality envelopes tend to get wrinkled even when you print thru the pass thru. The problem is that some cheaper envelopes are not perfectly square, and this printer seems to really like flattening the paper, so any imperfections will be "ironed" out, but then you have this wrinkled edge when it comes out the back. Also had a problem with smearing with some envelopes. Some of the toner did not stick properly and I'm not sure why this happened. Maybe it was my cheap envelopes again. Another gripe is that this printer does not have a low power standby mode. In other words, do not leave this printer on all the time, because it uses a LOT of electricity even just when it's sitting there on doing nothing. I checked this using a Kill A Watt meter, and to my surprise, this thing was drawing a lot of current just sitting there. And the fan keeps whirring when you leave it on too. I am not a huge fan of the white glossy finish, but at least it's not bad looking. So in summary I bought this printer because of the text print quality and the claimed high toner page count (which I have yet to verify cause I haven't printed nearly the claimed 10K on toner save). But I truly hate that it's loud at warmup, gets very hot, smells bad when printing and uses a lot of electricity. Personally I would buy an HP next time, which is what I was upgrading from.

I have owned this printer for about a year. We mainly use printers for black ink output and occasionally for color. We decided on a laser printer since we were going through deskjet cartridges like they were water.The problem with this printer is it consumes cyan (yellow) ink along with the black ink for black & white only copies. It also seems to consume the blue and red ink, but at a slower rate.At the end of year, we went through 2 black cartridges (as expected), a yellow cartridge and about 80% of the blue and red cartridges.What made this situation worse was that the printer would not allow me to print using only the black cartridge. Once the yellow ran out, I couldn't print anymore, in spite of having plenty of black ink left.After pricing the colored cartridges, it was evident that I no longer wanted a color laser printer, as the three color cartridges totaled over $400 with tax. I ended buying a Brother multi-function unit (print, copy, fax, scan) for about half the price of the Samsung cartridges.It is clear to me that Samsung designed these elements into this printer. In the process, they lost a customer, as I will never trust Samsung products again.

This printer has given me nothing but agony. It is nearly impossible to get it to print without jamming. I've had it for months. I've tried all types of paper, I've made sure to keep it on a perfectly flat surface with support under the paper feeder, etc etc - but it will not stop jamming. In fact I just got done fixing a jam which required me to take apart the front pieces and really stick my hand in the back to get the stuck paper out, which of course ripped and I had to pull it out by small sections. I've spent way too much time on this junker and I'm ready to send it to the recycling depot - I'm afraid to put it on the sidewalk on trash day because I wouldn't want someone to pick it up and think they got a great free printer, only to go through the torture that I've endured with this hunk of junk.

I have been a very satisfied user of a Samsung ML-1210 laser printer for several years. Samsung really had made a reputation for manufacturing top-quality inexpensive laser printers, and my ML-1210 was a prime example of Samsung's attention to design and usability. So when I urgently needed a new laser printer after a recent move, I could not wait until my ML-1210 arrived with the rest of my belongings, and bought an ML-2010 immediately. After all, it was a Samsung design and probably an improvement over my trusty ML-1210.What a huge disappointment. When I go through the reviews here at Amazon, I noticed that the majority of people praise the printer for being inexpensive. These people obviously never used a previous generation Samsung laser printer, because there actually was a time when Samsung made quality inexpensive printers, and there actually were inexpensive Samsung printers that were excellent in every aspect. Unfortunately the ML-2010 is not one of these good Samsung printers.I have to admit that the installation is much easier and Samsung has to be given credit for attention to Mac and Linux compatibility(Just use Samsung ML-1710 drivers for Linux). But this is about the only good feature of the ML-2010. In my opinion, its shortcomings are:-NOISE. The reviewers who complain about the noise are right, folks. We're not exaggerating, this printer emits an incredible sound during the warm-up period, and a very noisy cooling fan keeps whining for minutes. In contrast, my ML-1210 was ultra quiet. Samsung engineers really dropped the ball here: I believe the addition of the noise cooling fan was due to the unnecessary push for the impressive 22ppm printing speed and the hot printing engine necessary for these speeds. Dear Samsung marketers: In case you couldn't figure this out with your fancy MBAs from leading US and Korean universities, let me be the first to explain to you that the people who buy a sub-$100 laser printer DO NOT care for the 22ppm printing speed. They just want a quiet laser printer with high quality output. Which brings us to the second shortcoming:-MEDIOCRE PRINTING QUALITY: What's up with the GRAY text? Even in the 1200dpi quality setting and darkness set to maximum, the output from this printer is fuzzy and gray. Something went horribly wrong during the design of this printer, and you can tell by the print quality.-BAD DESIGN: I will not even dwell over the fact that the design is ugly: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and honestly a laser printer does not have to be a Le Corbusier masterpiece. But the poor design of the printer impacts usability: The printer literally spits out printed pages at the (unnecessarily high) speed of 22 pages per minute, and unless you deploy the ungainly paper retaining extension, the pages will not stay on the printer and will simply fall off, resulting in a mess of unordered pages. Why did Samsung have to change the design of the paper path? My ML-1210 could easily print a hundred pages and retain them on the printer, in order.In short, the ML-2010 is not the well designed, inexpensive Samsung printer that the company was well known for making. Please do not reward Samsung by buying this poorly-designed printer. Samsung has proven that they could deliver excellent printers in the past, but the ML-2010 is a total failure. I recommend an HP printer or even a used ML-1210 instead of the ML-2010.

This is my third Samsung toner cartridge in just under three years. It's a shame these original equipment cartridges cost so much, but none of the refilled toner cartridges I've purchased come close to Samsung's quality and value. And don't get me started on the hassles I've had with the refill guys! Bite the bullet and buy a real Samsung cartridge. The cost is more than off-set by the time and grief you'll save.

I'm pleased with the print quality and speed but am finding the printer to be very, very expensive to operate. Even with Samsung's Toner Saver feature turned on, we (a small business) are only getting approximately 5,500 mostly text pages from a 10,000 page cartridge. At first, I thought that we'd been shipped the 4,000 page cartridge by mistake. However, I called Samsung, and they said that such low yields are not uncommon for this printer.The low yield wouldn't be such a problem if it weren't for the fact that Samsung's cartridges are quite expensive. I wish I could give a better report, but our initial impression is that the ML-3471ND is not a cost-effective printer for a small office environment.If my operating experience changes, I'll update this review.

I've had this printer since Jan. 2005. I've been taking online college courses every semester, summer incuded, since then. I use it in toner save mode and print regularly classwork readings and assignments to take with me and it's worked perfectly. Yes, it's a little noisy, but so's my PC fan. If I want to duplex to save paper, I do it using the sheet feeder for the second side. I've had no jams or problems. Yes, I wish I had the network card, but we just got networked here at home. I also have filing cabinets full of assignments and coloring and craft sheets I've printed for my own 3 year old and a preschooler's story time and I have not replaced the toner cartridge yet. I was checking online for cartridge prices, because I feel I should have a spare soon for when it's needed.This is a great value for the money, and those who have had problems may have either bought an individual lemon machine or have environmental problems. Lower house humidity does help prevent paper jams. :-)

The key to longer printer life is use of original manufacturer toner. I have not deviated from this and my little Samsung ML1710 has been "bullet-proof". I've gone through 6 cartridges now and the printer is like the "little-engine that could". Toner output is consistent and very reliable especially in crucial moments when you absolutely need every bit of toner out of that drum. Ok, once in a while I have to shake it sideways to get more but truly, when it's empty, you better have a spare ready. Soon, I will need another ML1710 but for now, I'll buy another toner.

Right out of the box and like many others the paper cannot feed. The whole printer just feels beyond cheap and now I have to deal with returning this.Many others on many sites have had this problem... I'm sure some are just fine, but why risk it. I had a brother before and will be going back... frankly the quality level has turned me totally off to Samsung products.

After a little reading on line, the CLP-550 is a wonderfully inexpensive duplexing color laser printer. However, the eye on the toner bag goes bad. The simple solution is to use your (or your neighbor's) dremel or whatever to cut off the piece that the magic eye "sees". Seal with duck tape and WALLA! it works!. Just remember to check the toner bag from time to time or it could be very messy.

Overall it's fine, not quite up to the New York Times reviewers description. Erratic suction but lightweightand very portable.More suction than a dustbuster although the emptying the bag feature means the cannister always looks dusty so you wnend up spending more time trying to make it look less filthy .Although the fact its clear or at least opague aftet the frst time you empty it - that windoww does let you know when to empty it. So far, unsuccessfully. (Until i met the DysonSlim, I must say i had nevr thought much about cleaning the interior of my vaccum. basically iup until now i concentrated on vaccuming the floor, rugs and upholtry and blinds.On the other once you figure out it's numerous iodiosyncrictic subtleties its got co pact nature makes it a good investment for a small aprtment. i ended up ordering the overpriced mattress attachement as well.

This cartridge has been working just fine for us, but you should know that in spite of the picture of a Samsung box, this is NOT a Samsung brand product. The only place the box or the cartridge mention Samsung is for stating compatibility. I feel I was mislead.

This is the first regular cartidge for my Samsung ML-2510 printer after the one the printer came with. I decided to go genuine instead of generic. Its yield is great and it's worth the extra cost if you don't print a whole lot at home. It will last 2.5-3 years (1,000 pages per year) making the cost about $25 per year (as opposed to $30 per ink cartridge for my old ink printer). I still might consider refilling it for $35 at the local ink place when it's over :).

I first tried a no-name, compatible cartridge from a different source. It was about $20 less, but it didn't work. It made a horrible sound as the gears on the rollers skipped and jammed. So, I ordered the original Samsung replacement cartridge from Amazon, and now everything works great! Be careful of a cheap knock-off, it could do serious damage to the moving parts in the printer.

I've been a graphic designer for over 15 years and just started my own business. I bought this printer thinking it would be a good all-around deal - print/scan/copy/fax. Unfortunately, the print quality is just awful. I've used so many different printers in my life that I do know good from bad. I also called Samsung and they were no help. I have a Mac and when I said i was upgrading to Leopard this week, they said DON'T. After explaining that everything was printing heavy - no matter what setting/paper/computer... they said they would send a new drum. I just bought the thing 3 weeks ago. Then they called back to say their boss said they wouldn't send a drum and that I needed to call Apple. Luckily, I didn't waste my time and printed from a PC - and it was just as terrible. Also luckily, the store is accepting the return. No more Samsung for me.

It makes portions of white paper black thereby showing sometimes graphic or explicit images and text.Save your old cartridge and refill it for the next time, you can get 2-3 refills out of the empties before the cartridge dies and needs a proper rebuild.

It is compatible with PC - Vista and XPThis printer is compatible with Apple computers - both Intel and PowerPC processors, also it worked great with OS 10.5 (Leopard) as well as OS 10.4 (Tiger). Installation was superfast and printing was also superfast. The first page printed in less than 4 seconds, faster than manufacturers specification.I can print to an Samsung ML-2510 using my Intel MacBook Pro. I did not find any problem printing and it was super fast. I also hooked my wife's Macbook (Intel) to the same printer and it could print. I am using Leopard OS 10.5 and my wife is using 10.4 Tiger. It does a great job for the price. It will give Brother printer (HL-2040) run for the money and I found it more economical to use compared to HP or Brother.

We have used four of these for our small business network in the past several years. Two have been lost to electrical storms. But, this printer is a little workhorse. Easy to network and easy to service.It also supports Linux.

I purchased this printer as a replacement for an HP laserjet 1200 which is getting old. I know that laser printers are notorious for drawing a lot of current but like other previous posters I had the dimming lights and even though I did not have the printer connected to my UPS, the UPS indicated that an event had caused a drop in voltage. Also, I too experienced problems with envelopes. Very unprofessional reults. Every envelope printed came out wrinkled. Stay away from this printer. It may be cheap but spend a few more dollars and get a quality unit.

Like some others, I've been experiencing paper feeding problems with this printer that I got less than 1 year ago. It somehow doesn't pickup paper consistently anymore. I usually need to open/close the front cover on the printer 10+ times to get it retry and pickup a single sheet of paper.It prints fine when it's able to pickup the paper. But due to the paper feeding problems which a lot of people seem to be experiencing, I wouldn't recommend this printer. Doesn't seem to be reliable in this aspect.

This product took almost 2 weeks to get delivered even though it was listed as being "IN STOCK". The savings was not enough to make it worth while. I do not recommend you purchase this product. Just go to your local office supply store and pick one up!

I originally ordered the product for my daughter. After setting it up, it jammed the first try I made a printout. Sad to say, not even one printout came out. I have had several printers already, but this one really sucks. Worse, the store I bought it from will not allow a refund once you already opened the box. Worse more is that the ink toner I bought with the printer cannot be returned unless I prepaid the shipping cost. Avoid this printer at all cost.

I bought this on recommendation from my brother who has the ML-2010 model and absolutely loves it. This one is equally fantastic! I have had no problems with it. The paper doesn't curl like previous cheap laser printers I have used, and it prints very fast (about 5-10 seconds until first page comes out and then much faster after that). The relatively small footprint is also nice.I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a personal laser printer!

This is real, OEM, original toner for your Samsung ML-2010 laser printer. I was reluctant to use remanufactured or generic toner with my printer. If you are willing to roll the dice, you might be able to save a little money that way.Remember than the toner package/drum that came with your printer was a 1000-page deal. This one is 3000-pages. PLEASE factor that in when you hear the "buy a new printer and get the ink for free"! It doesn't work that way - inkjets do the same thing! I figured this comes out to 2.3 cents per page. Even if you buy the printer for $50, the cost per page is 5 cents per page with the included toner.Enough of my rant. Do the cost-per-page. This toner has worked fully up to my expectations.

I bought two of these printers because they are cheap and fast. Both started having the same paper feed problems after I replaced the initial cartridge, which only lasted 500 pages on one. When the mechanism tries to pick up the paper, it moves a little bit, then stops. After two attempts, the printer stops and signals paper jam, which requires pulling the paper out and putting it back in to try again. Very frustrating. I've tried several different papers. Tech support was unhelpful and I gave up after holding for 45 minutes when they referred me up to the next level. Only the fact that I just spent $70 on a new cartridge makes me hesitate to throw this thing in the trash.

I'll start with the cons. I bought this solely for Envelope printing. I have only had it for 1 month and already I'm noticing that the print quality isn't great on some spots on the envelope. It's as if the toner was not properly applied to the envelope, so the printed text appears grainy, almost like the static on a TV. Also, this "grainy" text rubs off easily (probably because it was not applied properly). So, there could be some problems during transit of the envelopes that this printer prints on.The next con is that, in MS Word, when I choose to print, the status monitor will say I need to press the "Cancel" button for Manual Feed. If I wait about 10 seconds, the printer will print the paper, without me even touching the Cancel button. Something strange is going on, and I even have the latest device drivers from Samsung!Last con is, when I press the Cancel button to cancel a job, it doesn't cancel it. Also, I cannot cancel it using Samsung's status monitor, nor the Windows' "Printer and Faxes" utility. There's no way to cancel a job but to unplug the printer!Now for the pros, it is indeed fast and it has a cover for the paper tray, so whatever you stick into the manual feeder has something to rest on, and your paper won't get dusty so your toner should stick to the paper better.

You could not print 3 pages continously without jamming ( the printer would pick up 2 to 3 pages from the paper tray at the same time and end up jam itself ). The only way to get around is to manually feed the paper one by one. I have noticed this problem ever since I got it as a gift( it's the reason I did not return it ). I think it's a product design flaw.I hope anyone who is thinking about buying this printer see this message.
