Великолепно

This product was just what I was looking for. Black and White only and very fast which is what I wanted. It was easy to asemble and the print has excellent contrast. I must wait to see if it saves printing dollars over a normal cartridge printer. The toner is double the price of a normal cartridge but I fell it should last over twice as long.

Puchased this printer recently since it is networkable and I wanted to replace my old Brother printer.It looks great out of the box- nice and small, and black on silver. That is where the good news ends unfortunately. When I first turned on the printer there is a loud whirling noise and it comes on again everytime you print. Also, the paper curls unbelievable due to the sharp curve in the print output deck. These things never happened with my old Brother 1440.I guess Brother is just trying to make cheap printers, both in terms of cost and quality. This one is a shoddy product and I would spend the money to get something decent!

Bought this for light duty printing. 5-6 pages per week. Toner ran empty quickly. After about 2 years, the paper feed just stopped working. It was a cheap printer but I did not get my money's worth. Not recommended for any type of printing.

On Jan. 9, 2007 I wrote: I ordered this for my ML-1430. It came quickly and works fine. I'll come back here for the next one.It's now July 31, 2008, and I *did* come back -- again and again. This is genuine Samsung toner -- no smudges or leaks like some refilled cartridges I've tried. And it's still a good price, too.

I have had it for a few months now in my classroom. I have my computer hooked up to it and I have had to use it as my main "copy machine" several time because of the copy machine being down and it has performed just great. No problems. Good quality. Great for the price.

The printer is great for its price at printing on regular paper. The quality is good and it's pretty compact - excellent for college use.Once I started feeding it envelopes though, it started choking. Using the manual feed takes forever if you have more than one envelope to print, because you'll need to press the "Cancel" button for each print (that lets it know that you're ready to manually feed). On the other hand, using the auto feed resulted in a ridiculous amount of jams. I estimate an envelope loss of 60-80%. Either subsequent attempts would also jam, or the next 1-2 envelopes would become unacceptably smeared with excess toner from the previous failed attempt.I found a "hack" to improve reliability though. You can rest an envelope on the paper stop for the auto-feed so that it feeds at an angle. This dropped loss to about 10%. I should note these were the envelopes with the pre-stick seals.And finally, the features are pretty minimal. It gets the job done, but as far as I could see, there was no print queue (which is especially handy to have if you're getting print failures), so you'll have to activate Window's print queue (if you're using Windows).All in all, a great introductory laser.

This printer worked fine for about 2 months and then I had one paper jam, which seemed to clear easily enough. But the "error" LED never cleared, despite turning the printer off, waiting 15 minutes, turning it back on, resetting the network connection, reinstalling the printer on my computer, removing and reinstalling the toner cartridge, etc.... Now the printer is completely unusable. I wouldn't bother repairing it even if someone came to my house. It is going in the garbage (well, to the hazard waste recycling) and being replaced by an HP.

I recently received this printer from another store. Not sure if it was the shipping or something else, but I ended up spending half an hour cleaning the excess toner spilled out of the cartridge.My previous Laser printer was a Lexmark e210. I had to replace it because it was printing badly due to whatever reason and the cost of a new cartridge was more than what I would pay for this Samsung.Some have complained about light text. It helps if you set all the printers preferences to their dark settings. And in the advanced section, you can tell it to print all text in black which helps the most. I'm satisfied with it after changing those settings. It also is slightly noisier than my previous Lexmark e210 printer, but its only noisey while printing.There IS banding when trying to print photos. I know its not a photo printer, but was hoping that it wouldn't do that (banding) considering it has 1200dpi print. That is a negative for me, and after checking some online reviews, they have stated the same thing. I also can't tell any difference between 1200dpi and the 600dpi setting, but maybe its just me.The price of this printer is cheap if you get it on sale with a rebate, that it almost makes up for the negatives. I will use my Canon IP4000 inkjet for the excellent quality stuff (photos and higher quality prints). HP probably still makes the best Laserjet printers, but you have to pay more for it.

I have read all the reviews and comparisons and settled on the low priced Samsung ML-2010. The product is easy to install and use. I was concerned about other comments suggesting the print quality was not dark enough. I can only compare this Samsung to the HP 1020 laser printers that I use at work and I feel the print quality of the Samsung is EXCELLENT! It is simple to switch from the toner save mode (lighter print) to standard (dark) print with the touch of a button. This machine is super fast. The machine emits a low noise level for apprx 5 minutes after the last page printed... I assume the machine is waiting during this time for the user to send other print jobs before going into a deep energy save mode. Once the 5 min is up the machine is silent until summoned once again. I took a close look at cost per page (toner costs)the Samsung beat most of its competitors--another plus. Machines that have a separate drum and toner (the drum will cost you dearly i.e. Brother printers) are deceiving in their consumption costs. Samsung thankfully uses a one peice toner/drum cartridge.

This toner cartridge is expensive. But, you can buy toner (the black powder) in the secondary market, and refill. The refilling is done by flipping open a round cap on the side. This gives good result upto 3 refillings. On the 4th filling I found problems like a dark line on one side. It looks like the drum gets bad and it picks up extra black powder , here and there, and you get light black blotches.Of course, they say you null the warantee.

It was cheaper to buy the replacement toner on Amazon (with the free shipping) than buying it here at our local Circuit City. And name brand, nonetheless. eBayers: shop smart. Compare with Amazon first to see if you're really getting a good deal with the compatible toners. You can get the real thing on Amazon for LESS....including shipping!

I got this printer to print official correspondence on, mainly resumes. However, every so often (every 20 pages?) I don't know why it leaves a dirty mark. Usually a smudge at the top. I have to print again and dump my expensive resume paper. Quite annoying. Also, keep in mind these small laser printers tend not to be as dark as inkjets. I got mine for $[...] after rebate, so look around for that deal.

The ML-2010 is really LOUD in my small workspace, but it fits very nicely. A great printer for a college student because of its small footprint and clean, inexpensive printouts. It does print lighter than larger laser printers, but if that is really a problem, just bold-text the document.

I bot this one at a deep discount, $50.It has been used for a few days, very good in general.I really like:1. small size but quick and quite action. I get a 10 page print job done in less than 2 min. This is even faster than my office printer at >$500.2. easy set up in XP. Not much effort to do it.3. very good printing quality in terms of smoothness and sharpness. ( but a little grey, I mean, not that dark as an HP.)4. No jams or whatever so far. Very smooth action.I am not that happy:1. No usb cord included. I happen to have a spare one handy.2. The ink is not as black as HP. So I would not use it to print my most important doc.At $50, I do think this is a perfect buy.

I never write reveiws, but in this case I had to: the quality of the printing was so poor. Like other reviewers, it prints grey not black no matter what you do. Also, there's banding. Plus, you get nowhere near 3,000 pages with the toner. Also, I saw no difference between the 1200 and 600 dpi setting. It also disturbed my power source.What else can I say? Samsung should be ashamed of turning out such a poor machine. Too bad there are not lemon laws for laser printers.

I've had this printer several months and printed hundreds of pages for training manuals and probably hundreds of others copying web page content and scanned articles, including some graphics and photos. My results for graphics are apparently better than others have experienced, but I'm not expecting excellent results from a laser printer of this type. I use a Canon 8500 for photos and very high quality stuff. Once it starts up (and it does indeed take a half minute or so), it cranks the pages very quickly. I find the print quality excellent, even in the "toner save" mode which I almost always use. With much lower than average per page costs to print, I'm glad I made this purchase decision!

It works as well as would hope. For ~50 bucks after rebate, it's in the mid-low end inkjet range, but prints as good as a decent laser. what else is there to want?things to know:it's a little loud. when you print a document, a fan will turn on, and it will stay on for about 2-3 minutes after the document is printed. when the fan is on, it's definitely *loud*, think, a mini copy machine loud. not drive-you-crazy loud, but definitely annoying loud, esp since it stays on for awhile.a new toner cartridge will cost you more than the printer (after rebate) practically, but that's okay, since it still comes out to ~2.5c a page, less if you use toner saver mode, then about 1.5c a page.it does grayscales well, though i wouldn't use it to print out anything picture-like. but for googlemaps, it works great.other than that, it's worked fine so far!

I bought this printer a few months ago and it has been great. It prints really fast and the quality is pretty good. It is a little bit loud when it is printing. It isnt that big of a deal to me because it prints so fast. Once it finishes printing it is silent though. But if you are in an office or something and are printing things all day long I would probably not recomend this printer. I really like the toner save feature also. This printer is very economical and I would recomend it to anyone who wants to save money.

I've had the same problem as some others here...NOISE. In particular a high pitched whine that stays on for about 10 minutes or so when the printer is powered up. I think it's the fan thats the culprit. I thought it was a bad unit so i sent it back and the replacement had the same annoying whine.Otherwise an excellent printer. You can print a stack of envelopes and postcards and it's fast too.C'mon Samsung, quiet this baby down and you've got a kickass printer here.

Tried this printer. Not impressed at all. Quality not as good my previous one (Konica Minolta PagePro 1400W). Samsung is noisy and the replacement catridge is definitely more expensive than Minolta's.Samsung electronic products are cheaper than name brands, but the quality is not that good. You get what you pay for.

My wife prints her students' papers at home so it was time to dedicate a laser printer to the task. For our limited budget, this fits the bill quite nicely. Pros/Cons: It doesn't support USB 2.0 and the long warm up time is kind of frustrating ("Did I click print??? Oh yeah, there it goes.") Once it gets going, the pages come out quickly. It is louder than most other laser printers, but not louder than some ink jets. And yes, the room lights flicker when it fires up. No joke. Not worth the price without a rebate, and the price seems to be on the rise. Samsung has replaced this with a later model, and I can only hope that they'll support this one for a full lifecycle (although the cost of toner replacement rivals the purcahse price of the printer!). You can also get a Dell laser printer for around $99.

Fast, excellent text. But don't buy this printer unless you're deaf. For 10-11 minutes after each print job it emits a faint(but not faint enough)high-pitched whine. We couldn't believe this was a "feature," so we got our first unit replaced. Same noise. Probably OK in a loud office, but if you need to write or think in the same room with it, you're going to have to turn it off repeatedly. Fortunately, unlike some other newer printers, it DOES have an on/off switch.

This printer/toner is fine, but for the price of the toner, you don't get nearly enough print jobs to make it very economical. I've had this printer for a little over 2 years, and I'm on my 4th toner. I'm a student, so I definitely do a fair amount of printing at home, but my estimate is that this toner only gives me approximately 1500 pages. And that's with every level of tonersave on. So every 7 or 8 months, I'm dishing out another $80 to get more toner.

For the first few days after I bought this new printer, the paper would stop in the printer about 50% of the time and the red light would blink. But it wasn't really a jam because if I removed the papertray and then put it back in, the sheet of paper would feed through. Gradually the problem improved and now, about a month later, the paper rarely "jams". Other than that minor problem at the start, it is great.

This is a very good printer for the small price. What I hate most is the refill catridges often cost more than the printer itself. When are machine builders becoming more reasonable and sensible to consumer needs. Yes, refills are neccessary but its more like gauging the customer than providing a reputable machine. For instance, the Konica/Minolta Pagepro is $99 with a $50 rebate. The catridge is $74 plus tax. What's wrong with this picture. How can a refill catridge costs more than the machine. In this case, the Samsung printer is identical. $105 for the printer with a $50 rebate but the refill catridge is $70 plus. Ouch.

I found out about this winner @ Circuit City of all places. I was scanning the 'net there to find a matching price for a laser printer I was about to buy. After reading the reviews I decided that this was the one for me. Who can beat a 22 ppm laser printer @ $60 after rebates?! Circuit City could not match the price (it sold there for $99 matching J&R's price) because of its expenses as a storefront; it only matches other storefronts, so Amazon.com got my business. I ordered the printer on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. My ML-2010 replaces my HP Laser Jet 4, which was state of the art when I bought it back in '93. The ML-2010 takes up less than half the space and weighs about 70% less.

I purchased this remanufactured unit to replace an old off brand small laser printer. I just do standard printing on 8 by 11 regular copy paper.The tray hold lots of paper and I had no problems with it. The laser cartridge is extremely easy to load and the loading process was very well engineered.With the printer on and warmed up a single page completes printing in 21 seconds. After that the printing speed in one page every 4.75 seconds or 12.6 PPM. This was at 600 DPI. This is with an old non-directional parallel port printer cable from the early nineties.While it is true that the lights flicker a bit when the printer is warmed up the flickering is not bad and is intermittent. I get 2 or 3 flickers in five minutes. Under document defaults, graphic, printer option you can change the power save mode time to five minutes.The noise level of the printer is fine and has a nice hum to it.Checkout http://www.dealtime.com for the cartridge. Lot's are available for $50 -- 65.For the extra 8 MB of RAM check out http://www.memoryx.net/samlme1.htmlIt looks like the printer takes a single 8MB 72 pin SIMM (8MB 72-pin 60ns EDO Tin-lead FPM SIMM (p/n XEA8). The printer was easy enough to set up, but the picture quality, especially printing photos is fair to poor...in addition the main reason I bought this was to print on Vellum and Cardstock for my daughter's wedding invites which she had designed. The fee mechanism jammed about every 10 pages of vellum, and the cardstock would be inexorably curled up after feeding thru the printer...great for printing regular text pages as well as low res graphics...would probably buy a higher end LaserJet printer with an ejection out the back of the printer so the curling would be alleviated.

This is a great printer, but look for it on sale for less than 60 after rebate and its a great deal. Samsung again proves that it makes its products with quality. After enjoying its great quality cell phones, I was doubtful that it could live up to its standards for printers. But my doubts were gone on my first print (of ironically my rebate for this item). In the looks department it is plain ugly, but who needs a good looking printer? It makes up for it in the clarity of its prints. A laser printer is a must when you print as many documents as me, and a bargain printer makes the savings all the better. My only complaints are on its loud noises when starting up and when turned on.

I bought this printer because I needed a small ethernet laser printer. I ended up with this one because it was small and cheap, had good reviews, and the Samsung web page said it had an optional ethernet adapter. So once I bought it, I searched around to find the ethernet adapter. Finally I emailed Samsung and they said their site was wrong. So, as great as this printer is for a USB printer, I bought it because it was advertised as a networkable printer, and it is not.

First off let me ask, "Why doesn't Amazon have a picture of this attractive laser printer on the site?" It's certaintly one of the better looking lasers to have on your desk (for example: compared to the super ugly Hewlett Packards in the same price range) But enough about apperances. I'm a screenwriter, and I have been using an old HP laserjet 2p for the past four years until it finally gave out on me. So instead of spending 150 + to have it repaired I decided to shop around for something new. After two weeks on the hunt comparing various printers in the 200 dollar price range, I went with the Samsung ML 2250. HOLY TOLEDO!!!!!!! I won't bore you with the "out of the box" specs but to watch a 120 page screenlay spit out of your printer in about 6 minutes flat is enough to make me a believer. Especially when the entire script fits easily into the top "out" tray with room to spare. Also I get great, smudge free, crisp printing with not a whole lot of noise. (Although I must admit the HP 2p was a little quiter but it took 20 + minutes to kick out the same screenplay... and sometimes with bad pages... and I had to keep reloading the feeder tray in the process.) I've only had my new baby for two weeks, but with all the pluses (read about them in the description) why would you spend your money elsewhere. There's even a network version available or a network card that can be added to this one. Read the specs on this baby and try to see a picture of it somewhere on the net. And then remember I got mine for under 200 with shipping. Trust me, with what you get for this price and the quality there simply is no other monochrome laser to match it!

My friend recommanded this printer for me. I bought it in few weeks later. When it warm up, it is a little bit noisy. After few minutes later, it gets better. I'm very lucky 'cause my friend gave me the usb cord. That would saved me a lot. Entirely, I recommand this printer. It prints fast and clear.
