Пока сама утром не позвоню с обоих симок , мне дозвониться не могут, говорят людям, что, мой телефон отключен (перепроверяла сама дома с др.тел). Сообщение на самсунге Е730 гораздо легче набирать, чеи на этом(заглавную букву в середине слова быстро не переключишь), нет быстрого набора номера. Остальные минусы Дмитрий с Питера подробно описал.

За такие деньги очень хороший двухсимочный телефончик, пользуюсь недолго, но очень нравится, я не равнодушна к слайдерам. Муж похвалил его за хорошую прошивку. Меню очень простое для пользования. Нашла один минус-нет функции вкл/выкл телефона, на предыдущих телефонах она была, непривычно, но не категорично. Еще очень кнопки понравились, мягкие такие, нажимать приятно. Я пользуюсь телефоном только, чтобы звонить и писать смс, остальное мне не очень и нужно, пятёрка!

Достоинства: +Компактность.+Дисплей(не выцветает на солнце).+Держит карту на 16 гигов.+Батарея.+3.5 джек+разъем на торце+быстро ловит сеть(после лифта или при выезде из тоннеля метро)+долго не теряет сеть при въезде в тоннель(теле2 во всяком случае)+есть заметки(не надо парится и делать их в виде черновика смс),калькулятор,диктофон,таймер,секундомер(-сигнал правда на них заменить нельзя)+панель ссылок+открывается одной рукой легко(плотнее палец к экрану прижимайте)+хороший динамик(даже при закрытии пальцем слабо снижается звук)+двухсимочность+отдельная кнопка на боку для переключения между симками+плеер работает при включенном автономном режиме(сиречь режим Полет)+в плеере можно выбрать вариант звучания бас,концерт,вокал и т.д.,очень порадовало возможность включения автоопределения стиля трека и соответственно включение нужного стиля звучания;)!+на каждую из симок можно выбрать иконку,и дать название+отключается звук камеры+можно создавать группы контактовНедостатки: -Радио не работает при включенном автономном режиме(сиречь режим Полет)-нельзя синхронизировать контакты с компом(даже через пресловутые Samsung Kies и Samsung PC Studio 7)-музыка перекинутая на карту долго добавляется в библиотеку,но главный минус в том что если вы выключили телефон(невытаскивали карту и батарею),то после включения всю музыку он ЗАНОВО будет добавлять файлы в библиотеку.Соответственно после попытки включить плеер придется ждать.-Нельзя выбрать папку для воспроизведения.Можно Все дорожки,Исполнитель,Жанр и т.д.-Громкость в принципе достаточная чтобы не вредить слуху,но шум метро неперекрывает(вовсяком случае в вакуумных наушниках)-нельзя менять названия профилей и добавлять новые-нельзя редактировать контакты через комп-нет отдельной клавиши громкости-если камера настроена на максимально качественный снимок,то зум не применить-при кратковременном снятии батареи сбивается время и дата-в автономном режиме невключается блюпуп-сигнал на будильнике и таймере заменить нельзя-диктофон пишет в амr,лекции писать врядли подойдет,разве что голосовые заметки-блюпуп включается через настройки-словарь(я не про т9,а про приложение) наверно для вундеркиндов:),лично я не разобрался-внешний динамик при прослушивании музыки сильно по громкости проигрывает nokia 6233 и е75-индивидуальную мелодию на контакт поставить нельзя.можно создать для него отдельную группу,вот на нее уже можно мелодию выбрать,НО выбраная мелодия копируется с карты в память телефона,а она нерезиновая.Кстати фото на контакт также копируется в телефон.Комментарий: Брал за дешево с рук,для использования в качестве плеера и органайзера,в этом качестве отрабатывает на все сто.Как звонилка тоже вполне удобен.Огорчило что музыку после включения заново изучает,даже на моей старой старой nokia 6230 и то такой фигни небыло.И странно что радио в автономном режиме не включить.Возможности персонализации довольно скромные.Резюма-Рабочая лошадка+органайзер

Хорошая, добротная, очень удобная классика. Две сим-карты, что было очень нужно мне. Все интуитивно понятно. Удобный, красивый, не скользкий корпус (брала красный). Хорошо встали контакты из Нокии, раньше это получалось не у всех моделей, не совпадали параметры телефонной книги. Комплектация небогатая, поэтому переносила данные через блютуз. Хорошая модель для ежедневного использования. Самсунг - настоящий лидер в производстве двухсимочных телефонов. Приходится признать, что моей любимой нокии пока по этим позициям до самсунга далеко.

Покупаю этот телефон уже второй раз. Первый эта же модель, но фотокамера меньше, купила , а моя подруга посмотрела и себе такой же на день рождение попросила. Телефон действительно стоит своих прекрасных отзывов, кому интересно можно почитать на этой же модели, но там другая фотокамера, а так характеристики все те же... Пользуемся мы обе ими с удовольствием и я, и моя подруга. Вообще услугами этого магазина я пользуюсь вот уже два года, Выписываю много и часто всё, что мне нужно, вплоть до кухонной химии. Всем очень довольна, нареканий нет никаких. И я очень благодарна магазину Озону, работает быстро и оперативно. Спасибо Озону!

• + Безотказный работает уже 12 лет, в 2019 году заменил стартовый картридж на новый, до этого стартовый картридж заправлял сам предварительно сменив прошивку; напечатано 296 710 страниц, рефераты, курсовые, доклады и диплом, в итоге фотобарабан стерся пошла полоса по центру, пришлось заменить на новый картридж за 350 рублей, теперь ещё 12 лет проработает, Сейчас 2021 год апрель работает отлично без проблем, пришлось почистить соленоиды от старых прокладок, начали залипать за 13 лет использования...

И кодеки мp4 и avi не оченью Когда я проигрывал свои старые фалы с фильмами изображением было не очень Те же файлы на медиаплеере от ellion выгледели прекрасно. Фалы проирывались с BD-R Но одно то что можно свои фильы проигрывать с записанной болванки BD-R уже хорошо В общем мне в нем не хватает только skypа Но тех денег за которые он продается он стоит.

Микроволновка не встраиваемая, как указано в описании, пришла без рамки, где ее взять неизвестно поэтому встроить свч не представляется возможным. В качестве отдельно стоящей микроволновки весьма хороша. Смотрится намного приятней картинки. Доставили достаточно быстро.

• + Купил лет 10 назад на авито за 500р. Почистил и перевернул резиновый ролик подачи бумаги и обслужил родной картридж. 10 лет гонял, бед не знал. Сейчас опять ролику тяжко цеплять бумагу стало, помогать приходится. И картридж тускловато печать стал. Кажись тонер кончился и барабан устал.
  Желания экспериментировать с современными поделками, заточенными под регулярное "обслуживание" совсем нет. Так уж и быть, поменяю ролик на новый. И картридж на переборку отдам. А может - даже новый куплю! Пусть дальше гоняет :)

Я уже оставляла здесь отзыв от 11 июня 2012 года. Прошло больше года. Принтер по прежнему работает. Перепрошила самостоятельно, заказав прошивку через Интернет, обошлось это кажется рублей в 150, так что теперь нет никаких проблем с заправкой картриджа. Так что советую.

Благодаря акциям Озона и накопленным призовым баллам, принтер мне обошелся примерно в 1 тысячу рублей. Выбирала долго между Кэноном и Самсунгом. Кэнон LBP 6000 (здесь, к сожалению, этот товар сейчас в продаже отсутствует) привлекал тем, что заправка картриджа без проблемна, не требует перепрошивки или замены чипа в отличие от Самсунга, но по характеристикам Самсунг все же оказался, на мой взгляд, лучше. Принтер довольно компактный и легкий, коробку с ним спокойно донесла из пункта выдачи до дома в обычном "озоновском" пакете. Установка прошла без проблем. Печатает. Останется потом перепрошить его (в Москве это стоит 500-1000 руб; или прошивку можно купить за 200 руб. и проделать это самостоятельно) и можно без проблем заправлять картридж. Но если вы живете в маленьком городе, то выбор лучше остановить на том же нечипованном Кэноне, чтобы не мучиться с заправкой картриджа.

За эту скромную стоимость Вы получаете приятный внешний вид, относительно небольшой размер, хорошее звучание. Басы есть. Все как надо. 4 балла, т.к. задние стенки колонок - обычная фанера, ничем не задекорированная (даже черным лаком в покрыть поскупились). Порадовало то, что в комплекте идет ПДУ и все управление очень простое и понятно освещается в инструкции.

I am one of those coupon junkies that everyone hates to get behind when checking out at the grocery store. I have a nice 3-ring binder with baseball card dividers, all of my coupons neatly files and categorized. In addition to the coupons from the Sunday inserts in newspapers, I also like to print coupons from various Internet sites (all legit coupons, by the way! - I prefer to save money legally, not like those crazy ladies on Extreme Couponing, but I digress), and as anyone with an inkjet printer knows, you will quickly run your ink cartridges dry as page after page of savings spits out of your printer.The solution? I decided to purchase a Samsung Laser Printer (black & white only, color would be nice, but pricey) from Walmart this past Christmas. The printer came with a starter toner which worked great, but is about half the size of a standard toner and finally gave up the ghost in early March. I went back to the local Walmart but amazingly (or maybe not, that store has horrible supply issues) they did not have the toner. So, I came here to Amazon to see if I could find one.Now, there are many companies out there that sell generic toners that are meant to work in printers just fine. I have never had a good experience buying these, and while you will definitely save some money, if it doesn't work you generally cannot return them. I think that it is just better in the long run to spend the few dollars more for a new toner from the manufacturer to eliminate any problems.Packaging and Product QualitySince this toner is manufactured by Samsung and is a new toner, the packaging was snazzy and intact and the toner came in a bubble tube that has a "zip strip" to open the tube without deflating it. In addition, you can use this tube to ship your empty toner back to Samsung. The package includes a sheet with instructions on how to prepare the box (you use the same one that your new toner came in), how to tape it shut, and even has the mailing label so that all you have to do it set it out for the mail carrier. How cool is that?In regards to installing the toner in my printer, it was a cinch. The toner comes ready-to-use; there is an orange strip that I had to pull off. Installing it was easy:1) I shook the toner from side to side to redistribute the toner powder evenly in the toner cartridge.2) I removed the orange foam protector that prevents the head of the toner from getting hair on it and also pads it to prevent any unwanted damages to the toner head itself. As a bonus, you can put this orange strip over the head of your old toner to prevent any errant toner powder from getting all over your hands.3) I removed the empty toner from my printer, set it aside, and then I slid the new toner in.4) I closed the cover, hit the green "Start" button on my printer, and watched as the "Empty Toner" light on my control panel turned off. Success!I had no issues with the printer reading the toner to realize that it was a new one and consequently had more than enough toner. I read another review that indicated their printer didn't recognize the new toner installation; I cannot imagine why that would be unless they were unlucky and got a defective data strip on their toner.Printing and UseAfter the easy install, I hopped on over to Coupons.com and printed up a page of coupons. To my huge satisfaction the toner printed perfectly and there were no indications of lighter edges as the toner began its life inside my printer (i.e. - lighter printing that got darker further down the page as the printer "warmed up" to the new toner cartridge, & etc). So far I have printed about 150 pages of coupons and various other documents and I have had no issues in regard to the print quality or any errant messages from my Samsung printer regarding the toner.In re: the old starter toner, I slid it inside the bubble tube, inserted it in the box that the new toner came in, taped the edges up and placed the prepaid mailing label on it as indicated in the accompanying instructions for the new toner. I placed it out in my mailbox (I have a large box as I receive a lot of small packages) and the USPS carrier took the package with no issues. To date the box has not be returned to me due to mailing issues and I assume that it made it to the Samsung Recycling Facility intact. Who knows, maybe my old toner cartridge has already been refilled and the coding reset and is in a new printer box, ready to be re-used by a new customer!OverallThis is a brand new Samsung toner cartridge, so unless you manage to get a 1) defective cartridge or 2) realize that this toner is not compatible with your printer, installation and your printer recognizing the toner should be a snap. As I mentioned above, my printer realized that this toner was a new cartridge and read the toner level immediately and turned off the "Low Toner" warning on my printer's control panel. The fact that the packaging can be reused immediately to recycle your old, empty toner is great as well. Especi

First off I want to say that this is a great printer. I have a few minor quibbles, however I still feel this is a great printer.Please also note that I am not a big photographer or person that prints a lot of pictures, however I can speak to quality based on my own thoughts of what a picture should look like.From start to finish this was a very easy set up and I think even the least tech savvy person should be able to follow the quick start guide given with the printer.The basic steps are:A: Installing the Toner Cartridges. (They are already installed, just need to be shaken to get them ready.)1: Take off the tap holding the moving parts down for packaging.2: Open the door covering the ink cartridges. (Nice little picture showing how this is done. Super easy.)3: Take out the ink cartridges. (It shows pulling them all out, but don't worry, just one at a time is how its done.)4: Shake them 5 to 6 times.5: Reinsert the cartridges.6: Close the door.B: Loading Paper1: Pull out the paper tray. (Picture shows how to do it and its easy.)2: Remove the tap holding the moving parts down.3: It shows you what to adjust in order to fit whatever size paper you want in there.4: Insert the paper.5: Insert the tray back into printer. (Note: Using normal everyday sized paper the tray will not go all the way back in. It sticks out about 2 inches from now on.)Now, this is where I recommend you no longer use this sheet as this next part was confusing. I just wanted the printer to be wireless and the next step has you connecting to either the computer or with a network cable. Now in retrospect I could have connected it to the computer anyways as this needs to be done to set it up wirelessly in the end, but the sheet makes no mention of that.Regardless, if you just put the disc in your computer now it will direct you the rest of the way. Youll pick how you want it set up and everything and then it will ask you to plug the printer into the computer for a moment for set up and then when done it will tell you can unplug it.Then you can print a test page and your good to go.The process is painless.Now beyond that I can say that this thing is a power hungry machine. I know this due to the fact that my light in the living room will flicker when this thing is printing. (Now, this probably won't happen to you. We live in an older house and our light in the living room is sensative to other things drawing lots of power. I mention this because I can say without a doubt that this machine likes the power.)There isn't any physical documentation with the printer, not that it needs much, but it would have been nice, instead you have the digital version.Really all I needed to know was what the eco button did specifically. I mean, one can assume, but I wanted to actually read it. FYI: It saves on ink and such.Which brings me to ink. It looks to be expensive. However since the colors are separate on not in one cartridge this should cut down on how often and its likely that youll need one color and not another and it will rotate a bit. Also it seems that these cartridges hold a lot more than my last printer and will likely last longer just due to the sheer volume of ink inside. There is a nice program that installs when setting the printer up called Samsung Easy Printer Manager. It does a nice job of telling you the percentage of ink you have and even links you to ordering supplies, though I haven't played around with that and will likely just do an internet search for best pricing on that stuff anyways.Its a pretty fast printer. There is a slight delay as it wirelessly receives what you want printed but once it starts printing it does it pretty dang fast. (This is one of those printers that makes the paper warm.)I have no use at this time for printing from my mobile phone, but I suspect I will use it at some point or another and when or if I do I will come back here and comment on that functionality. Basically there is an app you can install on your smart phone or tablet that lets you print to the printer wirelessly from those devices.The picture it prints on the test page is one of a bunch of colorful buttons. The paper I used was cheap paper that I got from Kroger. ;)The picture still came out very very nice. Everything I have printed comes out almost shiny and I like the look. The text documents I have printed are very crisp. I truly love the quality of the word documents i have printed.I would recommend this printer to anybody in the market. Its high quality.

The process is a bit messy (as you might expect) and the instructions are not so great (as others pointed out, the cartridge for the 1865W requires three plastic "rivets" be cut out, not just one), but for $6.50 with free shipping it's difficult to complain too much. (With better instructions I would have awarded 5 stars.)

The instructions also say to use the correct amount of toner for your cartridge, but I was unable to find anywhere on the website where the amount of toner to be used for any particular cartridge was listed. I just used the entire amount that was shipped to me. I suppose I would have stopped trying to fill my cartridge if it had overflowed before accepting all the toner that was shipped to me. Luckily that did not happen.

After the cartridge was refilled, the new chip was installed, and the refilled cartridge was inserted into the printer, the printer went through a rather lengthy reset process before it came back online and was ready to print. (The exact same process may occur when a brand new cartridge is inserted, but since refilling my own cartridge was a new experience to me I was a bit nervous that the process would fail somehow.)

I printed a test page and everything looked great, then I used the Samsung utility to check on the status of the cartridge. It showed that a new cartridge had been installed and that I had approximately 1500 pages left to print. If I actually get anywhere near 1500 pages for a $6.50 investment in toner instead of a $65 investment in a new cartridge I will be very happy indeed.
I'm a bit skeptical about how well the tape will hold the whole thing together, but so far it's working fine.

I'm not too confident that the tape used to re-attach the side of the toner cartridge that needed to be removed will hold given the heat the gets generated by the printer, but after a week or so of use everything is as good as new.

If you don't mind rolling up your sleeves, putting on rubber gloves and making a bit of a mess, you can save yourself quite a bit of money using this refill kit.

My two year old Brother laser printer was acting up and when I had the chance to pick up this Samsung, I grabbed it. First, it's light. With most other lasers, you need to channel your inner Hercules - the things are a ton. The old Brother - not much of a larger footprint than the Samsung - weighed in at over 60 lbs! I can pick up the Samsung with one hand. My girlfriend can move it around. So if you're not the Hulk and don't have help moving office products, that alone would sell this printer. It weighs about the same as a same sized ink jet.Installation: I have to say, one of the best moves I made was to add a high speed wireless network to the home office. We're wired and wireless. So is this printer. It does have the nifty one-touch wireless setup button (WPS) so it's only the press of a button to link the printer to a hub that supports WPS. Out of the box to linked up with the wireless router - 5 minutes. Next I had to install the driver. This was a little trickier. In goes the CD, and you need to tell Windows you have the disk. Then browse to the INF file, select it, and install. That took another 5 minutes.Then I was able to print wirelessly. What's nice about wireless printing is that you only need power. Stick the printer on your desk, behind you, across the room or house. No Cat 5 cable required.Quality: Very nice. I compared it to the Brother and our $20,000 Toshiba monster. Looked the same - so a sub $200 printer looks the same as the over $20,000 printer. The Samsung offers an "Eco" mode. I assumed that it would be lighter - no, it prints two sheets per side. So if you print two pages, they print side by side on one sheet. The Eco mode can be set in the driver or on the printer. This caused some consternation - I turned off ECO mode and was printing fine. My girlfriend was printing full page from Photoshop, but her prints were only coming out 1/2 size. The driver was defaulting to ECO mode, even though I had turned it off.Two Sided: Nope. Take the paper out, put it back in upside down, print again. That's it for two sided!Samsung Mobile Print: This is an App you can download for a Droid or iPhone, or most tablets. This was one frustrating App. I downloaded it to my Droid. It did not appear on my list of installed apps. Installed again and received the warning that was already installed. It's not in the installed or running apps, but according to the play store and phone it's installed. Hmmm. So it's not an app that you run. So i tried it on my Droid tablet. Not showing up there either. Huh. Now I'm frustrated. So I borrowed by GF's iPad. Downloaded the app there. Installed fine and showed up instantly. Picked the printer (it was there instantly) set the options and printed. Worked perfectly! The app presents you with 6 print options: photo, camera, clipboard, Google Docs, Web and Document. All work flawlessly. Pretty impressive.But wait - as if by magic, 30 minutes later the app showed up on my Droid tablet. First complaint - it only displays in portrait mode - the app does not rotate. Anyway, apart from that it works as it should. The add will also scan, but since this printer does not include a scanner, I can't test that part.So it installed in the iPad instantly, took a while on the tablet. On the Droid Bionic. It's called simply "mobile print" - not "Samsung mobile print" - it did eventually show up. Now I see why the tablet app looks and works the way it does. It's an app written for the phone - they did not create a different version for the tablet. Lazy. Anyway, the app works on the Droid, but it can't find the printer. It's been a day and it still can't find it.So for the mobile printing, I was able to use it on the iPad II, Samsung Galaxy tablet but not any of three Droid phones.A definite recommendation for a home or small office. It comes with "starter" toner - no idea how long these will last. A full set of CMYK averages $150. I have read that some people would rather buy a new printer and use it until the toner runs out, repeat. The problem - apart from the waste - you're paying for STARTER toner. These typically have 10% of the print count of the retail toner. So by doing that, you'd be paying $1500 for a set of FULL toner cartridges.

UPDATE: The original review appears belowI finally got fed up with this Samsung printer and bought the HP 1102w, which is designed similarly to my old HP 1018. I haven't used the HP yet because I had planned to use up the cartridge on the Samsung before I placed it in storage. Yesterday, I was anxious to print the first sixty pages of my latest project and inserted about three eigths inch of HP paper into the Samsung. That was too much for it to handle, for it chewed up the first page and creased approximately two more sheets. Luckily, there wasn't a paper jam. However, that annoyance was enough to convince me to activate the HP and hold onto this Samsung for acetate printing or other stuff that could be a little rough on the favored HP.ORIGINAL REVIEWI have mixed feelings about the Samsung ML-2165W black & white/monochrome laser printer. I wanted to replace my almost six-year-old HP 1018, which still functioned, but needed serious cleaning that involved dismantling, something I can no longer do because of arthritis. HP has a model that is practically identical to the 1018, but I wanted something smaller and lighter. The Samsung ML-2165W fit the bill at under nine pounds, so I truly like the weight and size. I also like the fact that unlike the HP compact models, the Samsung's USB jack isn't recessed into a cavity that is difficult to access with arthritic fingers.After getting the Samsung out of the box, I discovered that it also has its drawbacks, and I probably would have been better off with an HP compact model, for I have encountered very annoying design problems with the Samsung. Two items on the Samsung were designed backwards.The first design flaw is with the cartridge. You remove normal laser cartridges by slipping your fingers under a handhold or groove and pulling up, usually at an angle - that works well when you're working against gravity. The Samsung cartridge's groove is on top and you cannot slip your fingers under anything to pull up at the correct angle. The cartridge is preinstalled, and you're advised to remove it, shake it, and reinstall it. I grabbed it as best I could, but each time I pulled, the entire printer lifted off the desk and the cartridge didn't budge. Luckily, I have a set of miniature crowbars, and I used them to dislodge and refit the cartridge at the proper angle.The second design flaw is the width-graduating lever for the paper tray. That too is backwards, and it wasn't easy for me to adjust the width to the 8 ? inch setting, which is as far as it should go, but fails to expand to that full size. To increase the width to the maximum setting, you need to squeeze a clip between your thumb and index finger and glide the clip all the way to the right. The problem is that the release lever is on the right, instead of on the left, where it would make the most sense and would permit you to flush the clip against the printer's frame to get the full 8 ?" width and hopefully allow for some play. The location of the lever prevents that from happening because your finger will end up pinned between the lever and the printer's frame. A pair of needle nose pliers may remedy that, but I don't know where mine are. The end result is that 8 ?" X 11" paper fits so snugly within the tray that it's hard to accommodate more than a few sheets at a time due to the lack of play.Other annoying little things: The printer is only about a week old, and I already notice that the top page can end up smudged while it sits on the feed tray under the pick-up roller. That's an indication that something may not be quite right with the cartridge or other mechanism(s). Secondly, compared to the HP 1018, the Samsung is whiney noisy. I hope I get used to it.SUMMARYThe attributes: It's light; it's small; prints well, but not great because the grayscale isn't up to par; has easy plug USB and power jacks; it's also wireless; driver Windows and Mac updates are easy to acquire; it arrived within twenty-four hours and cost me only $87.09 after a $50 instant rebate at Staples. You can't get an HP for that price, but an HP LaserJet printer functions nicely.Negatives: Has two annoying "backward" designs, making it difficult to remove/install the cartridge and paper; it doesn't have a separate feeder tray for envelopes and postcards; grayscale print is disappointing; and it whines.

It took me ~10 minutes to refill the toner. The instruction was not helpful at all. But my Samsung ML-1865W cartridge was much easier to refill than the included instruction page. There were no screws on my cartridge. It has 3 plastic bumps at the end. I just use a dinner knife to pop out the end! (easily and with little force). Then replace the little circuit board with the new one. There is already a plastic cap about 3/4" diameter. I pop it open to add the toner. I cut the tip of the toner bottle little bit more to have a larger opening of the nozzle. Don't forget to twist the cap well to avoid toner spilling out when squeezing the bottle. Since the nozzle is larger, you just have the toner bottle upside down and gently squeeze the bottle - toner just runs into the cartridge like squeezing ketchup. Do it slowly between squeeze to avoid toner flying everywhere. Put back the plastic cap. Align and push hard on the end plate to snap it back into place where the 3 plastic bumps (posts) were. DONE. Aside, I taped the little circuit board in place so it won't slide out to when I put back the plastic cap. When power up the printer it makes some noise for awhile then Ready. Printed out a few pages, they look perfect. No more complaint from the printer on low toner. I am going to buy one more $6 is dead cheap!

I'm a DIY, roll up your sleeves, hands-on kind of person, and I was really excited to try this refill toner to save some cash. I'm usually really good at this kind of thing. I should also mention that my cartridge was not the original that came with my Samsung Ml-1865W printer, but was one that I ordered on Amazon, that looks like it has been refilled a few times. I think this is the root of my problems.

1. The instructions were really confusing, but the pictures made it possible. (For example, Step #3 "You can make a hole using a hole making tool" Step #4 "Or depending on the cartridge no hole may be necessary")

2. As I removed the screws, 2 of the screws were completely stripped out, making it nearly impossible to take the thing apart. Once I got it apart, I couldn't get it back together "tight" enough.

3. I got black ink toner (which is a fine, fine black dust) EVERYWHERE while emptying the cartridge (carefully) and then the cap didn't fit the squeeze bottle at all, so the toner poofed out of the neck of the bottle while I tried to fill it. THIS PART WAS SUCH A HUGE MESS!!! It was easily wiped up, but still...

4. After I FINALLY got the cartridge refilled, it won't work AT ALL. It will ONLY print solid black pages, no words, no nothing. I tried to do some troubleshooting with the seller over email and he is also baffled. I've tried all sorts of things with no luck, no error messages, just page after page of black ink. I now have to buy a completely new cartridge and start over.

IN CONCLUSION: I will try this again because it really is cheap and not very hard to do (once you do it once, you'll be a pro).

I use the HP AIO printer for color printing, and the Samsung printer for all of my non color printing. Samsung advertises roughly 2,500 pages per cartridge. I print out a combination of full, half, and less than half pages. I could only get around 1,800 mixed pages on the OEM cartridge, and only around 1,700 on the much cheaper replacement unit that I purchased on Amazon.com around two years ago. I just purchased this unit because the replacement unit started misprinting with an indicated 10% left. I installed this V4INK unit two weeks ago, and the Samsung printer is working well. Who knows how many pages will come out of this V4INK replacement cartridge!

Print quality is good so far--I can't really comment on this since I've only printed 10-15 pages total since the cartridge arrived. I'll update the review if I start experiencing problems.

I will say that the housing the holds the chip the printer uses to validate the cartridge broke off as I removed the packaging and it took a little McGyvering to get it to lock in place. For that I took off a star because without that chip the cartridge is essentially unusable and I'd have to complete an RMA process to get it replaced.

Pros:-Excellent Android/iOS app for mobile printing over WiFi-Small footprint and attractive design-Wireless Protected Setup mode-Affordable wireless, color laser printer-Ships with a full compliment of toner-Mac-friendly, but only with 10.7+-Linux drivers and software availableCons:-Nightmare to set up. You need to download the 1) download and install the Samsung Universal Print Driver 2) Download the Easy Wireless Setup manager WHICH REQUIRES YOU TO USE A USB CABLE TO SET UP. FOR A WIRELESS PRINTER. This was a nightmare at my office, since I had to drag the printer over to 6 computers each time I set it up. 3) Download and install the separate Samsung Easy Printer Manager. I SHOULD NOT NEED 3 SEPARATE APPLICATIONS TO MANAGE A SINGLE PRINTER.-No LCD to display error messages. There is a single LED which turns orange, blue, red and green. Whenever there's a problem, you have to look in the Owner's Manual just to find out you have a paper jam.-Wireless Protected Setup takes forever and is highly unreliable.-Can't handle card stock paper, despite having a printing mode specifically for card stock-You need to tell the printer which kind of paper you're using if you use anything other than thin paper-Underwhelming image printing (inadequate for printing marketing materials, etc)-Windows 8 app "Samsung Printer Experience" doesn't work. Samsung told me to restart my computer (right then...)-Wireless setup is only possible with Mac OS 10.7+ and doesn't work properly-While waiting for a 5 page print job, one could get lunch, hijack a motor scooter and instigate a high-speed police chase, go into hiding in Ghana and fly back under a forged identity and still make it in time for the 4th page-No Google Cloud Print support, despite advertisement to the contraryThis is weird: The Android and iOS Samsung Print app works better than any of the desktop software Samsung provides for PC, Mac or Linux. It's actually a pleasure to use on mobile, but a nightmare on a full-fledged computer.Overall, the CLP-365W/XAC is an okay printer for a small office in need of a light-duty document printer with some nifty mobile-friendly printing features. Unfortunately, its attention-grabbing industrial design is hampered by extremely bad software, drivers and management utilities. On a Samsung Series 9 notebook, the flagship of Samsung's PC fleet, the Windows 8 app designed specifically for Samsung printers. Also, lethargic output speed and the inability to handle anything but the flimsiest printer paper cripple what looks to be a promising office peripheral on paper. These shortcomings might be forgivable if Samsung would actually pay attention to their products by releasing patches or updates instead of simply asking you to buy a whole new product on the promise that the new model will be better. As a long time, die-hard Samsung fan, I cannot recommend this printer unless you have all but the scantest needs and might benefit in some way from printing wirelessly from your phone or tablet.

This is one awesome little printer. I got it as an upgrade from my old Samsung laser Printer that was not wireless. Now, I thought my old Samy laser printer was compact and small. But this little guy is really the size of a large shoe box. It's crazy how small these things are getting. The Pages print out smooth and flawlessly in black and white, just like my old one. Doesn't make a sound until it's called upon to print. I had no issues with setting up the physical printer machine. That part was completed in 5 minutes flat. The windows installation was a breeze. Just pop in the CD, select the windows setup executable and follow the install steps. I wanted wireless printing, so I had to go through the install steps that required my network name and password key. I was printing my test page from my WIndows laptop in about 10 minutes.Now for the reason why this review did not get 5 full stars. The installation steps for the Macbook were almost non-existent from the manual included with the printer and they were actually inaccurate from manual that was downloaded from the Samsung site. Furthermore, There seems to be no option to install from the Macbook via Wireless Access point (utilizing the existing home network). Every time, I tried to install the software from CD on my Wife's Macbook, it never provided me a option to do a wireless access point install like the Windows installation on my Windows laptop. So after reading through the Online manual, which was way better then manual in the box, and reading through some Mac forums where there users describing their experience as a nightmare to setup wifi printing with this very printer model, I was about to give up. But then I tried the following steps below and it worked! Though not via Access point, its an Ad-Hoc direct wireless printing setup, which was fine by me as long as it worked. If I had knew this method which was not described in any of the manuals, it would of take me the same time as the Windows install, but instead, it took me 30 minutes..:) Hope this helps the Mac Users!How to setup wireless (AD-HOC) Network printing with a MacBook and Samsung ML-2165W Printer.1. Setup the physical printer machine according to manual. Then connect it your Macbook via USB. Make sure the printer is powered on and verify the Macbook is powered on with wireless network Access.2. Insert the supplied software CD and double click on the CD from your desktop.3. Double click and execute to Mac_installer folder >Installer OS X icon.4. Complete the license agreement and installation steps.5. This will be a standard install without the wireless option. This is your only option. You will not be given a chance to do the wireless installation like in the Windows version install.6. Enter in the admin password to install the software.7. Once the software confirmation screen pops up to confirm your installation was successful, proceed to DISconnect your USB connection to you Samsung Printer.8. In case you missed it, Disconnect the USB connection between your Samsung printer and Macbook.9. Navigate to Applications > Utilities >Print Setup Utility (For Mac OS X 10.5 - 10.7) Navigate to Applications > System preferences > Print & Fax.10. Click Add on the printer list (For Mac OS X 10.5 - 10.7, click the PLUS sign) and new display will pop up.11. On the "Default" Tab of the pop up display, select or highlight the Samsung printer. In the printer name column, it should be listed as "Samsung ML-2160 Series (NNNN)", then in the Kind column, It should be listed as "Bonjour"Note: DO NOT select the Samsung Printer with the "USB" in the Kind column.
