Was skeptical because of some of the reviews but thought I would only be out $6 if it didn't work. Followed the directions on their website and popped the cartridge back in. It ran for a few seconds and the red light went to green on the printer. Checked the toner level and it said 100%. Just saved $50. Also, shipping was phenomenal. Ordered on a Friday about noon and estimated shipping was Thursday to Saturday the following week. Said that it was coming through my nemesis "Smartpost" and thought oh well. It was free shipping. It arrived, almost all the was across the country on Monday, three days later. Thank you TM Toner. I will definitely be ordering from you again.

First of all They were not MLT-D105L. They were MLT-D105S.
One of them did not work. It'd blacken the whole sheet.
The other produced lines and did not last more than 200 sheets.

This is the 2nd printer I bought last April 2012. The 1st one which is exactly the same model, I got it last Nov 2010 and that is the one I have been using for all these years. The 2nd printer is for my college student daughter. Both machines are bought from Amazon.Her printer, I installed it to her new desktop Lenovo Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) and it is working. Her Apple laptop immediately pick-ups the wifi signal of her new installed printer. I presumed the wifi signals of both printers are the same. She will bring-out the Lenovo & Apple machines to her Condo in abroad once the overseas school will start next month.The 1st printer is still in excellent working condition. I use all the features but the most features I used are the print/copy/scan. The scan is color and impressive but it becomes black/white if you paper-print the image. The monthly volume is rated at 12,000 pages and maybe my monthly average usage is 3,000 pages.Side-bar: I bought the OBI-110 Internet phone in Amazon. I permanently connected the OBI to this Samsung printer and both the fax and phone features are working perfectly. Now I have a dedicated fax machine. It's truly a multi-function machine so far.Anyway, the 1st printer set-up was not friendlier to Windows 7 because Win7 just recently came-up at that time. It was hard experience. I'm sure Samsung must have added some features to make it more set-up friendly to Win7 nowadays (because it took me less than 2 minutes to install it to above Lenovo). The 1st printer, I installed it to a Compaq desktop Windows XP and I immediately set-up the wifi network. The brand name of my router is D-Link. My tech skill is minimum and I successfully set-up the wifi after 2 to 3 hours. After that, all 3 wireless laptops (Gateway, HP, Toshiba) and my daughter's Apple laptop are able to pick the printer's signal. All machines can print wirelessly.The functions of scan and fax are not readily available to wifi. This is the part I wasted so much installation time due to poor documentation in the users' manual. Additional simple set-up is needed. After installing the CD printer driver to each laptop and then; 1) go to Control Panel of each laptop, 2) on the very top-right side of the screen, click search; 3) type "Samsung scan and fax manager"; 4) Samsung scan and fax manager appears in the screen; 5) Double click it, to create a short-cut; 6) A scan/fax icon manager is created in the front panel. That's all, all the laptop users can scan/fax conveniently in their machines.I am a very satisfied user of this printer and highly recommend it. Due to competition, the 2nd printer price-point is almost 45% off compare to the 1st printer I got. Buy it while still available.

Works wonderfully. I'm not sure why you're required to empty out the remains before putting it in because there will always be some left in the toner cartridge. This product worked perfectly and it was easy to do. I used the whole bottle in mine. Excellent--I'll definitely be back for more.

I bought this printer to act as wireless standalone printer to be shared by two grad students --we need to run off ~20-30 pages not infrequently so laser made sense. What doesn't make sense is that this printer doesn't have a tray for printed pages to land on so pages would just get scattered across the floor if you don't want to sit by your print job to manually collate...which would defeat the purpose of having a laser printer. Also, before the firmware update, the wireless worked horribly --I believe the issue was that it would basically lose its connection when in energy save mode --meaning you couldn't just start jobs from your computer without rebooting the printer.However, I've fixed these two problems. The lack of a tray was fixed by duck taping the flap off an amazon cardboard box to the end, and this has held up surprisingly well, although it looks not great. Samsung's latest firmware update fixed the wireless issue.Last, I've been a long time generic ink user. I'm not sure what the deal with this printer was, but the generic ink I bought from amazon advertised to work with this did not work out of the box and required a 3rd party firmware update to "fix" this (that I needed Windows for). Anyways, after doing this, the generic $45/1500pg toner works fine and looks good.So, with these three fixes, which were indeed frustrating to figure out and involved a non-negligible amount of time, this printer ends up being a nice value --quick, compact, and reliable. So it's hard for me to give it less than 4 stars now that I have it working the way I want...but just be aware that you'll likely have to go through these steps.

I just received the package - 2 bottles with chips for ML-1865W. I refilled the ink and it worked immediately. I have a OEM toner which has screws on the end from which I refill the black power. The original toner is sealed with plastic. So if you have original toner you need to prepare 3 screws if you don't want to drill a hole on the toner. It is easy to refill the ink - 1. remove the 3 screws, 2. remove the round cap to refill the ink, 3. refill the ink, 4. put the cap back and put screws back. You are done. It is much cheaper and works well.

We've had our ML-1865W Samsung printer for almost two years, and it was down to about 10% ink (powder) when it started printing in streaks. We bought the toner refill because we didn't want to buy an expensive whole toner cartridge. Yup, we got our fingers and desk all powdered black even though we tried to be careful. The powder has a way of getting into the air. But it wasn't too bad. Easy enough to clean up. And we readily found the correct instructions on the vendor's website. The instructions were easy except for the one confusing part. The instructions made it seem like there was only one plastic rivet to sheer off, but there were three.

We're happy to say our printer prints like new again. It's been a few weeks, and it's still printing well. This was our first time to refill laser toner, and I'd say we'll be doing it again.

This product is great and still printing well, it's nearly one year after installation. Surprised that it managed one high schooler and one middle schooler home work printing jobs for nearly a year ! The printing capacity must be huge numbers. It seems initially expensive compared to others but worth of the money for going longer than others. Good job guys for making good product.

I purchased this item because I wanted a wireless color laser printer that was compatible with my apple products, MacBook Pro, iMac, and iPhone 4s. After scoping the web and reading reviews on cost and such I settled on the samsung clp-365w. as soon as it came i attempted to set-up the ad-hoc direct wireless printing without having to go through the networked printing process via the internet hub to my macbook pro (v.10.7.5). After attempting the trouble shooting that was provided on the cd i called samsung tech support. They had me download the wireless driver for model# scx-4729fw this solved the problem but also created wireless a fax machine in my wi-fi drop down menu.Next i downloaded the printing app for my phone and it was having trouble finding the printer so i put that problem aside because I could always just email files to my computer and print the normal non fancy way.Next i want to install in my iMac (v.10.6.8) and followed the same procedures at the macbook and this failed utterly though the mystery fax machine showed up and I was unable to connect to the internet. The printer keep spitting out error messages. So i attempted to print with the laptop again and started to get the same error messages. After doing so searching in forums and coming up with nothing i realized i had spent 5+ hours fighting to get back to square one. It just isn't worth it.I should have just gotten a cannon or Hp which are more mac friendly.im sure this product works fine for pc's but that doesn't help me.also the one print that i did get out was amazing best color laser print i have ever seen even better than most inkjet prints there was no color bleed that happens when you print images on plain paper it was as good as it was printed on a media coated photo paper.

While the print quality is fine, there are so many things wrong with this printer. First of all, while it isn't impossible to get the toner, it is not easy. And little did I know I would HAVE to replace the toner waste container. Emptying the existing container does not resolve anything. It makes using this printer as a primary printer impossible as I had to go a few days without being able to use this printer as a result of having to get a new waste toner container and the fact nowhere local carries it. Needless to say, Amazon charges twice as much for it as other retailers do (but seem to be the only one that has it in stock). Samsung doesn't even sell the toner on its own website. If it was easier to find the toner, I'd at least give this a three star rating. Some other downsides are that it only prints color 4 ppm (so if you are going to print a large document, even though there is no blatant color on it, make sure to pick grayscale before printing or it will take forever) and 19ppm isn't anything to get excited about for black and white either. It is not very good for printing envelopes.Pros: It is wireless, and works wirelessly. It is possible to use with google cloud print. For a color printer it has a very small foot print. If you do not do a lot of printing, this will work just fine. It is not good for someone who quickly runs through toner, and doesn't have toner waste containers on hand.

I've never had a problem like this with any other toner, but it may be that these toner cartridges do not like to be reused. Next time I'll buy the whole cartridge. Sometimes you get what you pay for. It was worth a try.

This printer is a GREAT home office printer; IF (and that's a BIG IF) you do not need a great deal of speed from it. It takes a while to actually start printing and you may think your print job has not spooled to the printer; give it time, it just needs a few moments to warm up. Also, if you are looking for high output (production) in best color mode, STOP here. Go find another printer.However, if you want quality at the sacrifice of speed, this may be your machine. I have an HP 1606 for most of my monochrome printing (b/w, greyscale) and it is lightning fast. But this machine produces color quite nicely. I printed out some small (3-5 page) online comics for some of my young relatives and the print quality was GREAT. It even kind of seems like I loaded the machine with a semi-glossy paper even though I am just using a good quality inkjet/laser paper. Color saturation is good, fonts are quite legible and sharp. Happy with the overall color and general functionality. The machine comes with some partial sample toner cartridges and so far they seem to be enough for my needs, no need for new as of yet and I have done quite a bit of color printing. CAVEAT EMPTOR: 4 new toner cartridges are almost the same cost as the machine. You have to be prepared for sticker shock when buying these.The wireless aspect of the printer was easy to setup and get going. Just follow the directions and you should be okay, although I saw a few reviews where they encountered problems. All-in-all, I'd buy it again. Happy with this purchase. Hope you will be too.

This cartridge is about a third the price of the Samsung cartridges. I tried refilling my toner cartridge once, but the printout was not good at all. This cartridge solved all of my problems: it was cheap, easy to use, and didn't take a day of twiddling to make it work.

If you find that your toner cartridge doesn't fit, look at the sides again. There's a black plastic cap that has to be taken off, just get a screwdriver or fingernail under one of the clips and carefully pry it off. After the side cap is removed, the cartridge will fit and work as intended. I think the cap is so that it can fit in a slightly larger cartridge slot for different models.

One small problem was the green roller needed gentle cleaning with a cotton swab and alcohol. After this, the cartridge worked just fine.

This is a review of a ML-D3050B genuine Samsung toner cartridge I bought directly from Amazon. It works without problems. You might think that is obvious. It is not. I tried to get a compatible cartridge to save the money. The vendor, who has since been dropped by Amazon, sold me an expired cartridge that would not work at all. When I complained, they exchanged it for an expired cartridge that would not work at all. Then I asked for a refund. All steps were perfect illustrations of how not to run a business. So after I finally received my refund, I knuckled under and bought a genuine Samsung cartridge at a much higher price direct from Amazon. It was new, unexpired, and worked right out of the box with no drama. Hooray for Amazon. It was cheaper through Amazon than from the local office supply store and the wait was less too. These toner cartridges should not be so darned expensive, but that not withstanding the genuine Samsung direct from Amazon was the way to go. Recommended and I will buy again if the printer keeps on working. It is very old. If you decide to buy, contact Amazon or the marketplace vendor selling it and make sure you are getting what you are ordering. I would never try a compatible cartridge for this printer ever again unless someone else who has the printer tells me it worked for them. Too much hassle for me to experiment. If you do find a compatible that works in a ML-3050 series printer, please post a comment below to help us all save some money. Otherwise I'm sticking to the genuine Samsung. Hope this helps someone.

From time out of the box to time printing was about 15 minutes. It would have been 10 minutes except that I misunderstood one instruction during the wireless installation. A message comes up after entering your SSID network information that seems to suggest that all physical cables to the printer need to be disconnected at that time. Actually the USB must stay connected because information still needs to be sent to the printer by the USB cable. So wait until the message comes up that specifically states that the USB cable must now be disconnected, and it should all go well. I will also say that there is one window in which you type your network encryption key, but the entry box does not highlight as other boxes do. So that is confusing because it looks like this box will not accept any entry, but it does.Because there is some ambiguity in the instructions, I'm taking off one star. I think the installation may not be easy for everyone to follow, but if you have installed other devices that use network encrytion, you will probably get it to all work on your first or second try.The physical appearance of the printer is very nice. I like the ridged sides that let you pick it up and move it without feeling like it will slip out of your hands. All of the controls are on the top. I wish that there was a power led on the front panel so it can be seen from across the room.The printer holds half of a ream. If using 8.5 x 11 paper, you have to lengthen the paper tray, which then sticks out of the back of the printer. It is not a significant amount, but do keep this in mind when you look at the dimensions of the printer itself. This is especially true if you are setting it up for legal size paper.The printer comes with a USB cable, which is unusual these days, but a good thing to have immediately on hand. Good job Samsung! Also inside the box is a power cord and a cd with installation software. There is also a paper copy of the network installation manual and a general installation guide on one large sheet of paper. Also an unpacking and installation guide is printed on one of the inner flaps of the box.The print quality is excellent and I'm happy with the speed of printing. I recommend this printer for homes and small offices.

After my trusty Samsung ML-6060 broke from a 5 cent piece of plastic in the paper handling system, it was finally time to get a new machine. Since my previous Samsung lasted over 11 years (11 years!!!), I decided to get another one from them after looking at HP and Brother. I didn't like the cheapness of the HP units and kind of liked the brother, but then I found this thing. This is a true enterprise printer with an enormous throughput (80,000 pages/month)and large toner capacity. And holy crap, it is FAST! I bought this as a refurb (as my old printer was), so it was far less than even the lesser model in the same range, the 3312.Don't let its small size fool you, this machine is a monster. It has a dual-core 600mhz processor and an amazing print speed as a result. Often, my print jobs are done before I get out of my chair and make it over to the printer. It just eats up big print jobs like they were nothing. I have printed several books in the hundreds of pages each from PDF without any sweat, thanks to the built in duplexer, which is absolutley fantastic. I use it all the time now to save on paper. Warmup is instantaneous, and it flys through single sided sheets with almost no processing time. The network install was the easiest I have ever experienced. You just put in the included disc, follow the prompts, and you are done. This is a real office machine, not a wimpy home printer (which is why you should buy one for home, its cheap to run and you can't kill it!) It has a real paper drawer, not the exposed paper tray like HPs, and a real bypass tray where you can place a stack of paper or envelopes, not just an envelope slot like other machines. And you can get additional trays (which I plan to do once the price comes down). You get a real amount of toner, not 1000 pages, then they charge you the same for toner as the price of another machine. This makes it worth while to buy the replacement toner, as you get 5,000 or 10,000 pages (about). The plastic will not discolor like the HPs, and it has a two-line LCD display. The web based tracking is also great.What a major upgrade from my old machine, which was very robust in its day. And it was just few dollars more than I paid for that one way back when. The Samsung ML-3712ND has made my life much easier.

Purchased the Samsung Electronics CLP-365W and was initially hesitant since it is newly introduced to the market. Overall, very satisfied with the color prints.Item was delivered two days after making the purchase.Set up took less than 5 minutes. In fact, it took longer to take the item out of the packaging than to actually install the drivers and set up the wireless printing.NOTE: When you plug the printer in initially, especially with Windows 7, decline the automatic driver set up through Windows. Install using the included CD, otherwise you'll have duplicate printers.Print quality is amazing. I watched a few youtube videos regarding their new software and toner technology. It certainly is worth the amount I paid. Colors are vibrant, edges are sharp, and paper is not curled (as they advertised!) after printing as with most lasers. Colors come out solid with no streaking or additional residue.I previously had a Brother MFC and this printer is light years ahead of it. Print speed is comparable to most color laser printers.Since it is a new printer, there is yet to be available OEM toner cartridges. Toner will come to about $150 for the set (CMYK).Plus: Downloaded the Samsung printer application for the iPhone and iPad and was able to print directly from those devices. Advantages of a wireless printer!Downsides: Printer does not have a LCD display for errors on the machine. Errors in printing are posted on your computer. What type of errors did I get? Printing on 32 lb paper seems to jam once in a while. 28 lb paper works perfectly fine.Switching between legal and letter sized paper is a breeze. No need to manually feed it. There is no manual feeder on this printer.UPDATE 8/14: 32lb paper doesn't jam any more. It was an initial concern but has been resolved. Printed about 150 sheets on the heavier stock with no glitches. Quality remains clear, consistent and precise. Changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. Although the equipment has limited functionality (only prints color and black/white, is not multi-function printer), it does exactly what it is meant to do and very well.

I purchased this printer for use in my office 2 to 3 years ago. I have used it daily mostly for printing packing slips, brochures, ads, and shipping labels. The printer has only jammed once, and that is when a book was sitting in the way of the papers exit path. This impresses me, as the first year of its life, it was used in a humid basement office.The initial toner cartridges lasted me a little over a year. My only gripe is, while I printed mostly black and white, the color toners all dropped at the same level to about 80%. I believe this is caused by the calibration it performs on warmup. New Samsung brand cartridges are a little pricey, but comparable to HP prices. The cartridges contain both the toner, waste bin, and drum, which drives the cost of the cartridge up. The drums outlast the toner themselves, and use the old style green metallic coating (like old Lexmark printers), so refilling is a viable option. I find this style drum to be more durable.I used mainly Ricoh brand papers in this printer, as well generic self adhesive shipping labels with great success. Glossy photo paper however, left a faint grey haze on the paper. The printer rollers do not show any signs of wear as of yet.This printer was setup on my network, and no issues were experienced with Windows XP, Windows 7, or Max OS 10.5 and 10.6. In fact, the Mac's automatically detected the printer driver. The web interface is clean, and easy to use. The Windows printer monitoring software included with the printer works very well, and uses very little resources in the background. The software allows for poster printing, and more.All in all, I am very happy with the performance of this printer. I don't miss my previous printer (HP Color LaserJet 4550) at all. I will say, I do like the layout, cheaper consumables, and print quality of the Oki C6100 in my other office.... But there is a huge price difference between the two when new.Conclusion:Pros:Very Good print quality (except for toner haze on gloss or semi gloss papers)Reliable printing; no jamming, no errors, no repairs.Quality parts; sturdy plastic and metal gutsNoise; Printing and paper pickup is very quiet for its classSpeed; Fast first page out time is excellent, PPM in BW and Color is impressive for the price.THANKFULLY, it does NOT use a carousel toner drive assembly like similar priced HP/Konica productsCons:Physical Configuration; side load toners, side load envelopes, front load paper tray. At least a foot of room is needed on the side of the printer, which causes issues in cramped spaces.Smell; This printer gives off heavy ozone, even far after the break in period. Very noticeable in a small office. Worse than an old HP LaserJet 4Noise; The cooling fan spins constantly, and pulsates from time to time. I find it very annoying in a quiet office.

This is the 2nd time we've purchased this.. and that says a lot about what we think of this toner. We print a decent amount of paper for our kids crafts and other family needs and the 1st toner worked and lasted more than a year. So, when we needed another we purchased the same toner from the same vendor. We've had the 2nd toner now for over a month and are very pleased.

I bought this printer Used for $20 + 17 to ship. So a $200 printer for $37 was a good deal?? now about the printer. its black in color the power button lights up in blue, I use Ubuntu 11.10 X64 and the ML-2525 is in the list when the operating system printer setting wants me to pick a printer from the list to add a new printer!. And it does work and print! However when you print out a page it wont show ink-level status but If you hold down the Red cancel button for 5 seconds you'll get a print out of the ink level! Nice! Mine is 96% for example. My used printer came with a full ink toner! Witch are $80 new on samsungs website but $25 refurbish on amazon :) I usually use it to print out mailing labels UPS to return things to amazon at times Because as awesome as amazon is sometimes a purchase just goes bad.. or to print out the coconut oil research center as the website has 2 pages long of health benefits to give to people. From my own life of losing all my health problems to coconut oil its just a nice thing to do for others. The printer did not come with a usb cable. Best buy wanted $30 and amazon wanted $2.99 with FREE prime shipping! UPS does not deliver on Saturday so I got it on Friday! Free next day shipping was great! Cable works good! printer is FAST! it will spit out your page in a good quick 3 seconds max! (Regardless of how much ink it uses per page!) It wont copy fax scan do Color But I don't really care. I print about 5 pages per year so the ink may last a while? Even though its for occasional use it works really good! Ubuntu linux has it listed in the driver list (add printer in system settings)! wont show ink status but it prints just fine. (Holding the cancel button for 5 seconds does print a status page with ink level as a % say 100% for example) Most printers have a "cheap" crappy dollar store-ish build/feel to them.. this one does not. (well maybe in a few places) As far as features and functionality think "Simple" If you like simple this is the printer for you! If you like every bell and whistle then no not this printer for you.. I went through 8 printers (Different brands models etc) so far as they tend to break so thats why I went for this $20 printer as it was not too expensive. Lets see how long it lasts. It did come with the driver disk (no linux drivers on it just windows) However the samsung website does have linux drivers on it for this printer + the manual also. Some of us have abandoned the world of windows/blue-screens viruses etc and once you use linux you wont go back to windows :) Because unlike windows just like this printer.... it works!

Was able to change the toner within a few minutes, changed the chip, put it back in and all is good. Print quality is great.

One small tip... Cut the plastic rivets and pour the powder/ink into the chamber... Put the cap to close both ends. Make sure to wipe out the cartridge before installing on your printer. Fire some trial prints... Great value, sharp prints...

Printer arrived quickly, in a double box, the manufacturer's, and Amazon's. Everything as described and in good condition.I like the printer, I like the features.I had a bit of a problem with the install. First of all: Disable your firewall. BEFORE you install.If the install doesn't work the first time, turn off the entire setup and try it again, disable the firewall again. I used the supplied usb cable to link to my computer to do the wifi install. Second or third time through it worked like a charm. (know your security pass word for the wifi!)Norton is almost always a trouble maker on installs, and I believe it was on this one as well. I set the firewall off but it was back on quickly, and I had to do it again. The bottom line on the install is prepare for it by turning off your firewall (turn it back on later) and be prepared to play around for an hour getting it working.--and if you are like me with printers....not really knowing what you are doing. Many people have had better luck so I regard this as my standard procedure with this kind of device.So I don't know if the install was a bit difficult because of me, the Norton Security Program (which is notoriously self possessed), or something the Samsung install routine didn't get quite right. But it went well with about the expected amount of problems for printer installs, and I'm satisfied.The point is that 'easy install' with a printer is a matter of luck and expectation (which should not be too high)

The Samsung ML-2165 B&W laser printer is every bit as good as the HP P1102W, once you have it connected. And that is the difficult part. The setup software is far inferior to HPs, especially if you use a Mac or Linux. It's not that the software doesn't install, it's that it requires a lot of effort to get the client software to work properly. The software has setup screens that appear to be written in Java. Sometimes progressing from one screen to the next results in a lost connection or a white page, and you have to power off the printer and start over. The instructions online and on the CD don't match and didn't help. But after about 90 minutes of effort over two days, I got the printer to join my home wifi network and it's been smooth sailing since.Once the printer is on the network, any Mac, Windows, or Linux laptop can connect very easily. The printer turns on and off automatically. And the quality is just as good as the HP P1102W. The reason I chose the Samsung is because it is available in white / dove gray and the HP printer is black. It looks better in my home office and doesn't show off fingerprints. And Samsung makes good products, for the most part.The price of this printer keeps falling. Samsung has to be selling it at or below cost. So their aggressive move to take a bite out of HP's market share results in a very affordable home office machine. It's compact. It's quiet. I don't regret my selection. I just wish connecting this printer to a home network could be done using a web browser and in IP address and not a bug-ridden app! It's an IP driven world, Samsung. make these things manageable via browser!If you have an Android tablet or phone, you can install the Samsung MobilePrint app and print just about anything from your Android device to this printer. That's a nice feature, although the ability to print via Bluetooth would be more direct.So if you are a Samsung loyalist, and up for a tech support challenge, this is a good choice. Great machine....once it's connected.

UPDATE 10/19/12: I want to update my review to say how much I am in love with the Samsung CLP-365W. What I enjoy most about it is its fast ready. Living in today's high tech home, most jobs we used to print are now handled paperlessly so we don't need a printer every day only for things like shipping labels and such. So we leave this printer off and when we power it on, it is ready to print by the time we walk back to the pc! Super fast ready! No waiting for it to clean its ink heads, yet the print quality is pristine each and every time! I just can not say enough about how much I love the CLP-365W.Nobody does printers better than Samsung if you live in this cutting-edge technology. Samsung has an app so that you can print from your android tablet, iPad, iPhone, or android smart phone wirelessly DIRECT without having to go through your PC/Mac! How cool is that! Saves me so much time!Set-up was super easy with Windows 7 with the easy one-touch WPS. NOt only is it wireless and ethernet ready, the USB connection is 2.0 and Samsung even included a USB 2.0 cable!I set it up right next to my HDTV and home theater system and it is super quiet. It would be great for the library and no one would be saying SHHHHHHHHHHHH! as it is super quiet!It feels super sturdy at around 25 pounds.If you do need tech support, you will want to know whether to select cloud printing or printer as the printer tech department can not help with your mobile app or cloud printing which I learned from the Samsung Color Laser Printer (CLP-325W) which by the way could not handle labels like the CLP-365W.Most importantly, gorgeous professional-quality print outs and this bad boy will also handle labels without jamming!Thank you Samsung and Amazon Vine for this AWESOME Samsung Electronics CLP-365W Wireless Color Printer!

I read the current reviews on this toner and decided to give it a try. It was easy but a little messy to install. While it does work okay, I can't say that it is as good as a new cartridge. The print is a little spotty at times which is ok because I only print things for my own personal use on this machine.

The replacement work is easy enough, tho a bit more than 5 minutes - it took me 5 mins to dig my tools out of my tool box :) After that it is just easy job, cut the 3 connecting plastic points on the toner side with gold contact pads - those pads are for the chips to talk to your printer, pry open the cover and replace the chip. Pry open the round plug and fill up the toner. Put everything back, give the toner a little shake before putting it back into the printer, turn the printer back on and it works!

The refill process took only about 10 minutes. Once the cartridge was put in the printer and the printer turned on it showed a full amount of toner. Printed two pages to test and there were no issues.

The printer works fine as long as the USB connection is used. When it is connected via WiFi there is a problemI initially connected the Samsung using the WiFi option and the installation software. The software makes the installation easy. I successfully printed a test page using the 'print test page' option of the install software. But I could not get it to print an existing Excel 2003 document (which previously had been printed on my old HP Laser printer). I could not get it to print, and then the WiFi connection would be terminated. All other types of files (Word 2003 included) printed just fine.I reinstalled the printer drivers several times, and checked that the router strength was ok, but nothing I tried would get Excel spreadsheets to print on the Samsung . Just to make sure I printed one of the spreadsheets on an Epson Artisan network connected printer with no problems.In frustration, I chatted with Samsung 'tech support' for a half hour or so and was finally told that the problem had to be with the software at my end. I was ready to return the printer when, for the heck of it I tried the USB connection. Lo and behold, the spreadsheet printed with no problem. A Google search turned up other complaints about using WiFi with the printer.Bottom line: The price is good, the quality is what you'd expect from an inexpensive printer, and the printer works fine using USB attached to a computer, but not as a Network connected printer.

This is the first time I have written a review for a product. But the quality of the Samsung CLP-365W printer compels me to write one. Here are the highlights:* Print quality is outstanding! I have printed several color and BW prints and I was astonished to see the depth and clarity of the prints.* Ease of use: It was very easy to setup the printer on my Windows 7 system. I connected the printer to the system using the USB cable and installed using the installation CD and followed the prompts. I was printing stuff within 10 minutes.* Installing on additional systems: I also wanted to install the printer driver on an additional Windows 8 system. The system seemed to recognize that there was a printer on the network but it wouldn't print. So I went back to the Windows 7 system and looked up the printer's IP address using Samsung's Easy Printer Manager. Then I downloaded and installed the printer driver from Samsung's website and entered the IP address during installation. Hope this helps anyone who has to setup the printer to work with multiple systems.* 2-sided printing: We have to manually put the sheets after printing on one side.* Toner usage: I haven't used up the toner yet. I will provide an update about this later.* Speed: Print speed is as advertised and the first color printout comes out within the first 9 seconds. Subsequent pages come out very quickly.

This arrived as a Christmas gift in a suitcase, and fit in a gift bag under the tree. But the feature set ends there. The price was delicious, too. But don't be fooled by it. Samsung's discounted it by $100.Printing takes patience: grass grows waiting for a page. It may save power when idle, but lights dim with the power surge when it wakes. Machines can't find it on a network that's not broadcasting its ID. There's no manual feed, so two sided printing isn't reliable, even manually. And in toner save mode, color is pretty washed out.And a single toner replacement (the startup cartridges were done in no time) costs as much as the machine. Worse: I can't find new black toner for it anywhere (Samsung, their parts retailer J&J, Amazon direct, J&R, Best Buy), and the best Samsung can do is tell me to call back every month.Online customer support is kind of spotty, too. On some tries, agents were attentive. But I tried live chat once and no one was in. The 800 number was down for a day. I sent an email and still have no response.

Looks like the stock toner to me.
Only reason I gave 4 stars is because I have to look online for them, would have been better if a set were printed in with the kit. Didn't like working with that toner around my computer. Couldn't exactly print a set to work from. :)
You pop the end cap off, pop off the filler cap, fill the toner tank, slide out the old chip, slide in the new, and you are done. Happy printing !

Unfortunately the cartridge that came was the wrong one for my printer even though the description on-line listed my printer as compatible. I am sending it back and Amazon has posted a refund. I decided to purchase it somewhere else. So, needless to say, I am not satisfied.

The chip set that comes with the ink somehow signals to the printer that there is not anymore ink in the cartridge, and the printer will not print anymore even though there is plenty of ink inside the cartridge when I check. The seller should either re-program the chip differently or send 2-3 chip sets for each bottle of ink.

I bought this printer almost a year and a half ago (March 2011) for about half of the current Amazon price, so this was a real deal. It has served its purpose well -- fast and excellent quality B/W laser printing.I have docked the printer one star because of the quirks with the wireless setup. First, the printer does not stay connected wirelessly to your (Windows 7) PC if you switch between user accounts on your PC or if you reboot your PC. You have to right click on the wireless connections icon on the bottom right of your PC taskbar and connect again. This is not horrible, but it is an inconvenience, however minor.Second, if you have multiple desktop PCs or a desktop and a laptop, only one will realistically be able to use the printer, at least if you are running what Samsung refers to as an ad hoc setup with a single wireless router. If, after setting up your desktop (by connecting a USB cable with the printer for the initial set up), you go to set up the laptop (also by connecting a USB cable with the printer), you will find you cannot go back and use the desktop PC without setting it up again (yes, by once more connecting the USB cable with the printer). There may be some way around this that I've not found, but it's certainly not clear from the Samsung documentation.However, if you just want an excellent -- and fast -- wireless B/W laser printer to use with one PC, you can't go wrong here, save for the minor inconvenience of having to reconnect after switching accounts/rebooting.UPDATE (Feb. 2013): I have since discovered via Dallas Software Guy's incredibly useful April 21, 2011 review here on Amazon that the USB setup is NOT the way to set up this printer for wireless use. It now never has to be manually connected to the wireless network and, even better, all of the PCs in the house can use it. Follow his instructions and this becomes a complete winner. I've upped my review to 5 stars.

I had looked at this printer before, but wasn't sold due to some questionable reviews. Now that I have it I really don't know why I hesitated.I've set up more than a few printers and I have to say that this was the easiest. It was the first printer that I've ever seen that had the toner cartridges already installed. The out of the box experience was literally: put the printer on the table, remove shipping tape on the outside, remove/shake/replace each cartridge, add paper and plug it in.The only issue I had was that, initially, I didn't use the supplied disk, but set it up via Win 7. After I did this, the printer would print a test page, but wouldn't print wirelessly. I put it aside and went to Santa Fe for the weekend. When I returned I removed the printer from Windows 7 and then installed from the disk. Then, it worked. The moral of the story is to click the "have disk" button.I'm printing on 28 lb paper and it works fine.Cons: The printer is remarkable compact. However, the paper try sticks out a couple of inches on one side. Not a big deal for most, but it may matter to some users.As some others have noted, there is not an LCD display for posting errors and status info. The PC application is a reasonable workaround.The toner cartridge cost is high relative to the cost of the printer. In fact, the printer list price $230 is about equal to the cost of 4 cartridges at $55 each. This would make color copies cost $0.22 each. Users who make lots of copies will want to do a careful cost analysis.Pros: Small, inexpensive purchase price, quiet, wireless printing, and available app for iPhone/iPad printing.

Simple and easy instructions. I used a vacuum to suck out the excess and worked pretty well.
The first 2 pages had some residual toner dust. No problem.
After about 100 pages, it's still looking clean and solid.
