Ужасно

Can hardly see through the viewfinder to compose your picture. Zoom tends to sticks when zooming in or zooming out.

Camera takes great pictures! Would have been a 5 star had an instruction manual accompanied the camera an d a better lens cap! The lens cap fell apart before a month was up. Now I have to purchase a replacement lens cover.

I bought this camera for a few reasons.1. I needed a good camera to take nice pictures of products for my company, takes nice close up pictures and can really get all the details of the product.2. I needed a good camera that had a really good stabilizer, since my hands shake pretty bad.3. My parents have cameras that are just a few years older (one is about 2 years and the other is about 5 or 6 years older) then this model and both my parents are happy with them.I use the camera mostly for my company but I have taken this camera out twice, once to the LA Zoo and took beautiful shots of the animals; and then out to Disneyland. Taking pictures on the Train was a snap, clear non blurred pictures while moving. I played around on it to figure out the correct shutter speed, but otherwise I am loving this camera

I was somewhat familar with Canon Cameras since I owed a couple of them. For first timers it may be a little complicated to operate. Does so many things difficult to remember it all. But overall this camera is amazing and does what it is advertised to do.

This camera takes pictures with a high quality without the need to know photography as a professional.Just set auto and shoot to get much better photos than a point-and-shoot camera.Also, I was positively impressed with the video quality and the amazing Image Stabilization! The end result looks like you are using those very expensive Steadicams.I am very happy with the acquisition.

This camera is a replacement for the Canon SX40. It takes beautiful photos even on the fully automatic setting. The auto focus is much quicker and more accurate than the sx 40. Of course the huge zoom lens is wonderful. This camera takes great low light photos. I have taken many indoor photos using existing light and all have come out great. I do not like flash photos and it is rarely ever needed with the SX50. I very highly recommend this camera.

This is a great camera! It has all the convenience of a point-and-shoot, but also has a great deal of the sophistication you would fine in a DSLR. No need to swap lenses as this is ridiculously powerful. Planning to get an external flash unit (it has a built in and a hot-shoe), but have not needed it yet, as the built in is pretty good. So far, this does it all.

I haven't learned all the ins and outs of this camera yet, but I am very impressed with the photos I have taken so far. I look forward to practicing and becoming more adept at working with it. I love the way it zooms in to see objects far away!

My husband has only started to learn to use this camera, but he's delighted already at the clarity of the pictures. And for a man who won't read directions to pick it up and start shooting in 2 minutes, I'd say they designed the camera well. It wasn't exactly "unbox and go"; I did have to charge the battery the night before and a mem card separately. Still, it's a fabulous camera and we're both really happy with the purchase.

The lens on this camera is impressive! No more carrying around a bag full of extra lenses. The features are fairly 'basic'. Still learing how to shoot things like 'fireworks' and get decent quality, but overall, this camera is a beast and the best value in the superzoom range.

My husband has purchased many cameras for me. I love taking pictures of the family, nature, our golden retrievers.... I was not satisfied with the zoom on my GE or the quality on my kodak. I wanted a point and shoot that took pictures like a dslr well this is that camera. The zoom is amazing, the clarity phanominal, and very, very user friendly. Still pretty light even for a larger camera. I absolutely love the consecutive shots I can take when the dogs or kids are playing in the sports mode you never miss a goofy face or the perfect jump with the dogs. I highly recommend this as user friendly and professional grade pics..

Being a camera "buff" and having an background for technology research, I was researching cameras for a neighbor's wife - it was to be a Christmas gift for her husband.He wasn't a serious photographer but wanted to begin learning some photography techniques.My research seemed to indicate this camera was really good alternative to a DSLR.- for his efforts.While owning several digital cameras - from a Nikon to Sony ultra slim T series - I was so impressed with this camera's specifications and reviews that I decided to purchase one for my self also. I love the outstanding photos even at the extended 50x zoom. Color is great, the details are great. Great features. I would recommend this camera to the basic to advanced photographer.

Carry 2 cameras with you, a Canon SX40 or 50 and use it when you need a lot of zoom and for filming. For all around picture taking use the Nikon D3100 with the kit lens (18-55 mm).- This is the best combination, the Nikon D3100 is the smallest DSLR on the market and the quality of the pictures is just amazing!!! Day and night !!! This is what I use and this is what I carry in my Tamrac 3444 rally 5 bag all the time, it's lightweight...SX40/50 are good if you have plenty of light, otherwise the pictures look slightly washed out...fix them in Picasa.

I take a lot of bird pictures and sit beside a table on my sunroom with the camera mounted on a table tripod. With the zoom I shoot birds at 4 different feeders at different distances The picture s are clear and sharp. at all distances. IVe also walked around the yard and taken amazing flower pictures. For the price this is an amazing camera.

I sold my Canon 7D and the lenses, and bought this to replace it. I am amazed at the quality and capability of this point & shoot! It is much easier to "lug" along, and I frankly don't see any difference in the quality of the pictures.

I had the Canon S1 (I think) 5 mp camera which I liked a lot. I admit that this camera produces better images and has more bells and whistles that I can imagine. The sensor must be greatly improved over the last few years as I get much better images at higher iso's.The stability control is also rather impressive.I didn't need the camera. I was impulsive to buy it. Not my smartest financial decision. I am so glad that I did. For me it is a great camera.

I had the SX10, which was great at the time with a 20X zoom. Then when the SX30 cameout with the 35X zoom, I got that one. It similar to the SX10, but the 35X optical zoom. This SX50 HS is the best of the group! I LOVE the 50X, 1200 mm optical zoom. WOW! And, not in the action mode 13 frames a second, compared to the previous 3. Others who are more knowledgeable will likely have other things they also like, but for wildlife, to get this zoom without carrying a lens that would need a cart, is really something. So far I'm very impressed with the images.I've also liked these cameras because of the ability to use the viewfinder or the display on the back, which faces the camera body when not in use. Great for protecting the screen. The display also rotates to allow for many ways to hold the camera.The Amazon price was amazing for a recent introduced camera!Bill

This camera not only has a super zoom lens, but is fast, smooth, and has so many additional features for creative editing, shooting in Raw mode, and the ability to add the remote shutter trigger. Also, does well in the design dept as far as ease of handling and moving through menu options. In comparison to Nikon, Canon's menu options far exceed Nikon's confusing and limited scene modes.

Takes really good pictures and videos. Have taken several videos with it and when I transferred them to dvd and watched on tv the picture and sound was really good. In door pictures are a little more challenging but can be done quite well. Very happy with purchase.

If you are a black rapid strap user, you'll have to unscrew the strap to get to the batteres and memory card. The plastic body does not have a sturdy feel to it that the sx 10 had. If you have filters for the sx 10 to 40 they will not fit the 50. The 50 times optical works great; This a great high end point and shoot for the person who wants to shoot wildlife, but doesn't or can't go the expense of a DSL.

I would recommend this camera as a perfect camera, for travel. If you appreciate, and can utilize, the many advantages this camera offers, it is a perfect combination/compromise between a good point-and-shoot and a high-end DSLR. It can give great results in full AUTO mode, but, has even more to offer, if you wish to fine-tune its performance. I like the fact that Canon doesn't make you pay for accessories you may already own. I spent less than $500 for the camera and all the added accessories I desired. (My second choice was the Nikon P510. Its features paled, in comparison.)

The controls are a bit awkward for my hands, but, I seem to be adapting. The focusing as the zoom distance, for me, so far, requires either a monopod or a tripod. The attached gorilla portrait was taken more than 50 feet away, there is no color correction or noise reduction, just cropping.

I JUST received this camera! I got home and openned the box. This camera has all the features that I want, the zoom is great BUT THERE IS DUST INSIDE THE LENSES!!! It's not a scratch is dust!!! This is my 3th canon camera and I never saw something like that.I'm going to replace this camera and will give a follow up as soon as I receive the new one.Just received another one without any problem! This camera is great!

Great features/price ratio;but, possibly not for the typical novice or first-time camera buyer. Although, it can certainly qualify for a camera that any serious, amateur would not outgrow for a long, long time. Really amazing the shots my wife and I have extracted and saved from the "almost-impossible" category. Only one pan: User Guide seems to be available only on an enclosed CD. Very unhandy for a new user in the field, looking for clarification with some of the more cryptic, albeit useful, feature titles - - - Canon: raise the price a few dollars if you must; and, bring back the diminutive, but powerful, pocket paper-back reference booklet. I would highly recommend or buy as an thoughtful gift to a close friend. My issue with the User Guide has no relevance to the excellent quality and powerful features on the camera itself.

Easy to use. Some quick-action options. The video is decent, though the camera itself can be loud during filming.This is the third or fourth Canon PowerShot I've owned or used. It's by far the most fun to use with this zoom lens.

I spent about eight hours testing this camera for it's sports capabilities. I shot fast moving jet skis, boats, etc and in quick rapid fire succession at full zoom it stopped the action. If you are looking for a camera to shoot the kids playing sports, then this is a great buy. If all you want is to take snapshots, then spend less.
