I have had the W2207 for about a year now. All I have to say is the picture it produces it beautiful. Usually, when I have something nice I get used to it and don't appreciate it as much. Not with this monitor, I never get used the awesome picture it out puts. It also makes my linux system look really cool. On a side note, when I first bought this I was worried about a glare problem since the surface of the screen is shiny. Since I have had this, I have had no problems with the glare what-so-ever!

I have four of these on my desk in portrait mode, mounted on Ergotron stands. The stands HP ships are nice enough that I've re-used them to mount other VESA monitors in my office.The display panel is decent. Colors are roughly on par with my Apple 30" display. I bought this panel because it has the closest color and dimensions to match the Apple display.The panels have dual DVI inputs and come with 2 DVI cables and 2 SVGA/DVI adapter cables. The shipping boxes are large and sturdy, which reflect the build quality of the monitor and the stand. The monitor case is plastic, but it feels robust compared to some of the cheaper panels out there.The on-screen controls are reasonably good and make sense. If you're looking for a 1600x1200 non-widescreen 20", this is one of the few panels left on the market.

I bought a DVI video card for $35 and together they make a great picture.I did have some trouble with the automatic Pivot Enable software, and it is moderately hard to rotate, so I leave it vertical. I really like it for internet browsing; it's just wide enough to show most pages, and I find it a lot easier to read long articles. And of course you see all of a page in word processing. It's impressively tall, bright - the brightness is even enough. And it's much lighter than the rotating CRT it replaced. I'm happy.

These HP 92 black and 93 color inkjet cartridges are very light, easy to install and they allow the printer to print out good quality, durable black and all colors of ink on the page. They store for about a year after you buy them so if you want to stock up for your office or personal printing needs that's great! (They even come with an expiration date!) HP also packs these well so that it is difficult for the cartridge to become damaged during transit. These ink cartridges are also compact so storing them is easy.One thing that I don't like is that the ink goes too quickly. If you print a lot, you might even need to replace this cartridge every ten days or so. My needs are about 15 pages per week and I have to change cartridges roughly every six weeks. That's not good; although to be fair to these HP ink cartridges I am printing graphics.Another caveat: in a store you'll probably save some money buying this two inkjet cartridge pack. On some websites (ahem) the savings is lost as another reviewer correctly notes.Overall, the quality of the ink is rather good despite my one complaint that the ink goes faster than I would like it to go. Nevertheless, the cartridges provide you with the ability to print a multitude of colors on your paper and replacement is easy.Three stars for this product. These ink cartridges lose a star for not lasting longer; and this pack of two inkjet cartridges loses another star for being a little overpriced.

I'm a 12 year veteran of design. This monitor is great for home use, but for professional graphic design (web, print, whatever...) beware:1. The color gets darker at the top of the monitor. Pixel wise, it's the same color, but what you see is darker.2. The HP BRIGHTNESS settings are hard to calibrate, even when I have my Apple 17" Macbook pro right beside it, you cannot get the color to match. YES, I've used my HUEY pantone calibrator and software--it just doesn't calibrate like it needs to for TRUE color representation.For those two reasons I cannot recommend it for true color printing. Even for web and photo correction the color is too saturated.I bought this because of price. I nearly bought the 800+ APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY, (which I use at work) but felt it was too expensive for casual home use.When the time comes that I'm doing more print freelance at home....I'll get the APPLE and use this as a secondary palette monitor.

I bought this monitor here - at Amazon.com, after having checked out an endless array of monitors in stores in my area. I had discovered it originally at a COSTCO (it was only avaiable as part of a package there, and after some very thorough Froogleling Amazon's price was actually one of the best!)Not one dead or stuck pixel. Colors are great. Calibrates very well with my ColorVision Spyder II. Desk appeal is not the only thing that makes me happy about this monitor - it really does have great display quality.My only gripe came with the software (HP's My Display), which was extremely buggy at first (I was aware of this when I purchased the monitor, as it was widely reported.) As expected, updates are available now that have taken care of the biggest issues. Every once in a while it still acts up, but of course you have the option to use the monitor without the My Display software, in which case the 90 degree rotation of the monitor would require you to simply switch the display driver's orientation manually. My problems now with the My Display software seem to mainly manifest itself with remotely connecting to my computer, beyond this things have stabalized considerably.There is not much else to say otherwise but "wow!" I've owned this screen for several months now, and now wish they would be purchasing these for my office! I'm spoiled....

I use this ink all the time my printer is a HP printer. Using genuine HP ink from Amazon is great.I did order the three pack for 34.00 but received the 2 pack for 28.00. I noticed you had removed the 3 pack off the site. I was not credited with a differance in price, which would have been nice.

Check the revision number on your box or on the back of your monitor. If it starts with "GSM" followed by 3 numbers then you have an S-IPS panel and won the "HP Lottery". Otherwise, you got the MVA panel which, while good, is not as color accurate as the IPS. I received mine on June 3rd, 2008 and got a "GSM002" revision so they're still out there. After calibrating with my Spyder3Elite, the color and clarity on this thing rivals monitors 2-3 times its price. I couldn't be happier. From what I've read on the forums lately, it seems that most 2065's these days are IPS panels so, if you decide to order, best of luck!

These cartridges are represented (and shown in the photo) as genuine HP. However, when I bought one (at that moment, cartridges were sold via Abacus 24-7 store) I have received a no-name box with a prominent "Remanufactured" sticker on it. Deceptive advertising at its worst.

Would you guess by looking at this item that it is non-OEM? Neither did I. It is represented as OEM, as an HP C4092 cartridge, with no obvious mention of it's status as remanufactured - I will not deal with Abacus again.

After reading the reviews, some good and some bad, I chose this monitor and I am so happy I did. I absolutely believe I couldn't find a better one at the price.The screen turned sideways gives me close to 19" to review over long pages of computer code and has really been a joy. The software has given no problems and I like the handy buttons on the front to change from photo to game and text lighting and color changes. The photo colors are enhanced and look natural, the game mode really makes the colors more vibrant, and the text mode dims the screen enough so you don't get as fatigued from long hours. I spend between 6 - 10 hours a day with this monitor. The 2 USB connectors located on side are very welcome. It saves me from crawling around on the floor to plug something into the back of the machine, that seems so caveman now. I have an expensive video card with a digital out and now i finally get to use it. All in all a super deal.

When we know we are going to need ink in the near future, I've learned to buy it online from Amazon. Like many items, it qualifies for free shipping over $25. The price is comparable to retail, and keeps me from having to drive 22-40 miles to shop.HP also provides free envelopes and postage to recycle its printer products. By ordering online and returning the spent cartridges, I get to do a double-whammy against waste, and change one more habit to help our planet.

I am not reviewing the product, I'm reviewing Amazon. I ordered this item from Africa, to have a friend bring these life saving black ink cartridges to me. And suddenly I'm getting a cancellation after I ordered the cartridges 2 days ago. No explanation. Just, We are Sorry. Now I will have to have this friend go to the store to buy them, which is a pain to her and makes me feel guilty for living in an area that doesn't sell reliable ink cartridges (and they cost twice as much). It is the first time Amazon has done this to me. But, it terrifies me for the future, since I rely heavily on friends to bring precious items over for my work. What's with this Amazon.

This monitor has a hight adjustable "swivel" base which matches my wife's desk setup, as well as having the landscape/portrait feature. So..... I ponied up the few extra bucks instead of some less expensive models I shopped for.WOW! This screen really pops!It's simple to set up. I have a VisionTek 7K video card in a Pentium 4 based Dell desktop (yeah, real basic), and it's just plug-n-play. A few minutes "tweaking" and the screen looks just like a picture window! (The contrast ratio is a little better than similar models out there)I'm a network tech, but when my brother (who's a programmer) stopped over for a visit, he was glued to the screen! The family was watching a movie, but he was happy soaking in the rays of the HP and stayed at the PC.Very pleased with the decision on this monitor!

I have not been disappointed with the purchase of this monitor. I did a good bit of comparing up front with the newer Samsung and LG models and even though those models look better on paper they did not compare in picture quality. This monitor has a glossy screen which makes colors more vibrant, especially for pictures and video. Some people may not like the glossy screen due to the fact that it can create glare in a bright room, but I have had no problems with glare. One thing I like on this model vs. the 20" HP model is that it tilts and and can be adjusted up or down. There is no noticable fading or discoloration around the edges of the screen as some people have noted on other larger screens. The monitor has 2 USB ports on the side which can be quite convenient. I have not tried out the speakers on the monitor because I had a nice sound system already. My monitor did come with a DVI cable, so don't waste your money buying an extra one like some of the other reviews recommend. The only con I saw to this monitor was that it only comes with a 1 yr warranty, though many credit cards will double the manufacturers warranty on electronics if you use it for the purchase.

This is one amazing flat screen. I added it to my cpu in a dual monitor setup. I had previously bought a View-sonic 22" screen. The 2 just do not compare. The HP totally blows the View-sonic away. In detail, brightness, contrast, flexibility, and price. It looks great, the screen is easy to set up, the buttons are easily accessible. It comes with software to tilt and rotate the screen. I don't usually like HP products, (hate all the "Bloat-ware" they load with their software) but this Screen should not be passed up. The Price cannot be beat!

This product never arrived due to Amazon's dumbheaded policy that third-party stores cannot change addresses once the order is placed. This is really weird since if you ordered directly from Amazon you could have changed the address, as long as you're willing to put in your credit card again.FedEx policy is that only the shipper can change the address, but they can do so trivially by making one 30-second phone call. The vendor for this product refused to do so, citing their agreement with Amazon. That's really stupid on their part, Amazon's, or both.In my case the product did not require a signature so it was dropped off at the old (wrong) address in front of the door. FedEx then attempted to go back there to retrieve it but of course it was gone. Now I'm out the money and have no cartidge. I ended up ordering directly from HP, which cost quite a bit more money but the product arrived promptly a few days later, and since it's an original product rather than being refurbished, I assume it will last longer at higher quality levels.

It has VGA and HDMI ports which makes it easier for those like me who have a VGA out on their PC and is also future proof by having an HDMI in (I am looking for a reasonably priced graphics card with HDMI out).

Product came exactly as described and in perfect condition. It's a great monitor for the money. Completely recommend. All the positive feedback is well deserved. I have no idea what the people who are complaining are even talking about. There is nothing wrong with this thing. Way better than $500 monitors and this one's only $300. It is a Beauty! Also the software worked great for me. It completely took care of all the hard programming to get the full potential out of the monitor. It did everything for me in 7 steps. Prior to the software I was only using half the resolution and all it took was popping in the cd. Also switching from vertical to horizontal mode is as easy as twisting the monitor and it automatically orientates the screen appropriately. I can't believe anybody has anything bad to say about this thing at all. There are a reason there are only like 5 of you alltogether compared to the 44 - 5 star ratings.PS - it came a day earlier than supposed to. Ordered it 2 day delivery and got it next day.

This monitor is good for the average ,,, but I sold mine to my neighbor because I saw the new LG Flatron L227WTG at BB this weekend for $3.19 do your research it is not advertised yet, it has a 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms refresh rate ,300 cd/m,1680x1050 res. not to mention 3 yr warranty by far the best out there as far as ultra clarity and sharpness. HP was just not up to my standards , not to mention they offer a 1 yr warranty , i mite be crazy but im not stupid , hope this helps ... my set up: Intel E6750, Asus P5E-VM HDMI mb, Corsair XMS2 6400C4 DHX, Corsair VX550 psu, 2x 160gig Seagate 7200.10 Raid 0 !!!

Sin embargo, la pantalla es tipo espejo, y la luz de frente a ?l puede complicar las cosas...Tienes que tener cuidado con los rayones de la pantalla, ya que es bstante delicado.... en terminos generales fue una muy buena compra. I've had the monitor for about a month now. I have not tried to adjust the colors from the native setup, so I can't comment on how difficult that will be, but I am quite certain that the screen colors are not correct. If I was a graphic designer, I probably would not be happy. However, the quality of the display is pretty good for the price I paid. I'm very happy with the monitor so far. I especially like how easy it is to adjust the height and tilt. I was pretty concerned about the reflectiveness of the screen because the coating does reflect light from behind me. On bright days, I can see my own reflection in the screen. However, after about a day, I got used to that, and am not having a problem with it.

I have researched this monitor for weeks. It is still hard to believe that I was able to purchase it through Amazon for $268+shipping with no sales tax. The quality is great. I would recommend this product to anyone in a heartbeat. I have to computers in my home office and already thinking to get a second monitor like that to match the first one.

I love this monitor, I've had it for several months now and haven't had too many issues with it. The only things I have noticed is that I can't get the DVI cable to work, but to be fair I tried once and said I'll try the old school monitor cable. Second, I get stuck pixels maybe once a week, but I do a pixel massage and it has worked every time. I'll be watching for a price drop and then I may buy a second one. It's nice to see that HP can still do something right every now and then.For a monitor it's size, it fits into the smallest space possible which helps eliminate the bulk. I live in a dorm and all my neighbors have been in the market for my monitor since I got it. The place for the lock on the back is strong and I feel safe leaving it.The picture is stellar, almost as if I have upgraded my graphics card. Very bright and crisp!

Very versatile being able to go from landscape to portrait. I have a Dell system and it was no problem at all installing the software and it automatically sets everything to the proper viewing experience. Buy,Buy,Buy!!!!

I highly recommend this product. I was a little taken aback at how large the screen was when I first received it, however it's really come in handy. It looks great, tons of real estate. Only odd thing is that the + and - buttons on the menu are not intuitive. Great purchase, and I'd get another one if I needed one.

I have had this unit just about 1 month.I had to upgrade the video card to ensure correct resolution. Not an HP problem, just the native resolution is so high some older video card can't keep up.Screen is clean and bright - No dead pixels - Colors are all bright -At cold start up the monitor starts out dim and gets brighter as it warms up over the first 60-90 seconds - I don't know if this is common with LCDs.Glare is not as bad as expected.Rotating the screen vertical is simple and creates almost life size portrait photos. I use my video card/driver for rotation.. The HP software seemed kind of buggy.Video is great and puts my TV to shame.AS OF 2-8-2008 I recommend this monitor

The HP 22207 wide screen monitor is fantastic. After doing a lot of research, we selected this monitor to replace our 17" Dell monitor for our Dell system. A larger screen allows you to see more of your document, photograph, website or spreadsheet at the same time. HP has made the installation simple and user-friendly. The HP documentation is great. The screen image is crisp and the color vivid. In scanning original artwork (using HP Scanjet G4050) the color rendered on the screen is excellent compared to the original document. Highly recommended.

This is the best monitor i've seen....just like a tv....the only thing is....besure to be very careful when cleaning...antistatic cleaners are good but streak....be sure to a very "soft" material to clean with...this is definetly the best monitor money can get...its big enough to view things...i bought one and had to return it for one of the pixels lights went out....one tiny little light...but exchanged with no problems....if you can I suggest a warranty....This monitor is like a shiny new car...

This monitor is a knockout. I'm in Advertising, and use it for Graphics, plus Video and Audio ediitng. Images and Text are sharp and crisp. Color fidelity is excellent. I love the flexibility incorporated in the design, which allows the user to position the screen at a custom viewing angle. The inclusion of usb ports is also a nice plus. This is a top-of-the-line consumer monitor that can be used quite nicely in a commercial environment. It was a major upgrade (in all respects) from the dual 19" Princeton monitors this one replaced.

I've had two of these monitors for just over a month now. These beauties are fantastic.Pros: Vertical Span Mode - you can run this monitor in standard (letterbox) mode or vertical span (portrait). This allows you to view webpages or full page documents at 135% size and still have room for all of your menus. They are very easy to convert between these two configurations.Bright sharp picture quality - Although they ship with their brightness settings turned up too high, the image quality rivals that of mid to high level CRTs.Cons: The HP software is still buggy as of June 2007. If your video card provides up-to-date drivers chances are that you won't have to worry about that. (I use the nvidia video card drivers to manage my displays)Speakers are low quality - don't get too excited about the built-in speakers. They are grainy and quiet.I haven't had them long enough to know about the power button issues written about by another reviewer. I simply have them go into sleep mode when not in use and this seems to work just fine. There is also a short latency between pressing the power button and the monitor giving any indication that it is powering on. This may lead to some impatient button pushing that could tax the button's durability.All things considered, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent picture! Most important aspect that distinguishes this monitor from others of the same size is it's perfect handling of text. All monitors will show you food pictures these days, but if you work with text, most of them will blur parts of letters in certain places. It may happen on different text sizes and is very annoying if work with text a lot. With HP LP2056 any text you view is SHARP!! I love it! It's the best! Also consider this:Smooth installation.2 video inputs so you can connect two PCs to it and switch easily.All cables and connectors you might need are provided.The pedestal is very solid and stable. No shaking. Position is easily adjustable.Overall excellent monitor at very good price!!! Especially for those of us who work on computer a lot.I bought another one for my wife, after 3 days of using it. It was just too good. And she likes it as well.

The HP w2207 is an excellent monitor for the price. I am still yet to find a 22" monitor in this price range with this type of quality and features. I've had my share of owning different brands of LCD monitors including Dell, ViewSonic and now HP and the HP is definitely the clear winner of the pack at least for the time being.The packaging was excellent! HP included all the necessary cables to get the monitor up and running in a matter of minutes. The out-of-the-box picture clarity with factory default settings was eye popping even with just a standard/low end Vista compatible graphics card. I do however have the nVidia 8800 GTS installed when the pictures were taken but even with the onboard video card that came in my HP Pavillion a6152N, the picture clarity was impressive. Dell, Samsung and ViewSonic would have to bring up their quality a level higher to compete with this monitor.So whether you are looking for a stand alone or PC bundled monitor, you just cant go wrong with the HP w2207. I expect this monitor to be the center piece of my system, at least for a little while.

Pluses: Image is sharp, color is quite good if viewed from straight ahead. Display has height adjustment, rotates and can be swiveled.Minuses: Very noticeable color shift if not viewed from straight ahead, though the image does not completely disappear as happens on some other lcd displays. Black turns purple. Seems to be quite a lot of "bleed" from the backlight, though I don't know what is typical for LCD display. A kind of "shimmer" viewable on most images (maybe backlight bleed?).I bought based on good reviews for color and viewing angle. It turned out to be not nearly as good as described.

I had no problems with this flat panel, no dead pixels. Had it for about a month now. It definately has the best base i have seen in a flat panel. Good buy.

I'll keep it simple. My new HP w2207 Widescreen, plasma looking LCD monitor is almost absolutely perfect. It is connected to an old HP Compaq nc8000 laptop. At first I was in the process of writing a HORRIBLE review. Then I read some of the other posts. I searched the web, and it took a while to find updated drivers. Had to reboot a couple times. Then I couldn't get the widescreen 1680x1050 resolution to work. I thought it was the laptop. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software that came with the monitor and Eureka. Everything works. The resolution, clarity, brightness is amazing. It's like I just got a new pair of glasses. The colors are great. All of my coworkers walk around marveling at how awesome the monitor is. One guy said he had the best on the floor until mine.I am not going to hold the monitor or HP responsible for the problems I had with installation. Pretty much anything I add to my computer setup causes problems. I see why people like the Apple computers so much.Anyway, once you get it setup correctly, this monitor is awesome and amazing. I am lucky to have found it.
