I bought this product because it offered more adjustments than most monitors. I was not disappointed. The monitor can be adjusted both up and down as well as the viewing angle. Very helpful with bifocals.

This laptop is fabulous. It cost LESS than what I paid for my bargain basement Acer, is much more rugged and durable, comes preloaded with Windows Home 7 Premium Edition, dual microphones, HD webcam, HP QuickWeb so you can get your work done without having to boot the Op System, I just can't say enough great things about this laptop.Some people have said they dislike the mousepad being off-center, to the left, but personally I like it MUCH better there then dead-center. It has a full keyboard WITH a numeric keypad as well, and what I like the best is the keyboard is SEALED. SEALED. This means no little crumbs can fall between and below your keys.Lightweight, super portable, super fan and amazingly productive! I plan to buy each of my three kids and my hubby one for Christmas presents this year!

This is a great flat screen. Huge! Just the perfect size. However, a week ago (I have had this monitor for 2 months now), a high pitched buzzing noise starts to occur after my monitor is on after an hour. I have to turn it off for 5 minutes then it goes away. Repeat while I use the computer. Kind of annoying, not sure if it is just mine or what...

Remarkably sturdy, Superb definition and super-heavy Duty. I got the HP LP2065 to match it to my HP Workstations 4600 and just as all the HP workstations this monitor is built as a freight train. I need my equipment to stay on 24/7 and this monitor has not let me down. I do lots of graphic intensive work and this has been a plus. Combined with the HP workstation is a marriage made in heaven. The 20" gives me plenty of room for both 16:9 and 4:3 screens and something that I have not heard mention anywhere: you can use 2, I repeat TWO computers with this monitor. You can hook both up and then it senses which is being operated and it switches to it or you can do it manually, I have 2 workstation hooked to it since I use one for designing and the other one for rendering and a third for Internet comunications. I do not know if the LP2065 works perfect because I have two HP workstations running Windows 7 with i7 on each but, so far it has blown any of the other monitors I have researched before, plus the price helps a lot too. This is the reason that I have been a HP loyalist for a long, long time.

We (I and my wife) did our own comparison with other brands and found this to have the best specification and also value for money. It is originally sold for 570-580$ in HP, so getting this at a huge discount from CircuitCity is really great.Our goal was to find a decent laptop for home use within budget of 400-450$ dollars. We compared HP-Pavilion g6-1b79dx priced at 429.99$, Toshiba - C655-S5128 at 449.99$, Toshiba - C655-S5212 at 399.99$, Dell Inspiron 15R i3-380M at 399$, Lenovo ideapad z560 at 449.99$.For this kind of price, i receive a HD webcam, anti-glare screen, bluetooth and WiFi. Plus i also receive a HDMI port for viewing images/movies on my larger LCD TV. It also comes with Windows 7 (64 bit) which enables the OS to handle large amounts of data (RAM) when compared to 32 bit. The only flaw if i could say so is that it comes with 320 GB Hard drive whereas others might offer you a 500 GB capacity, but who cares! atleast i find the storage capacity enough. Also only HP Probook 4530 XU015UT provides both, bluetooth and WiFi when compared within this price range. (so transfer files from any device to your PC hassle-free)This is touted as a business laptop in HP website, so you know it means business and not some decorative (read flashy) home laptop. It also comes with a brushed aluminium finish.This laptop also offers HP enhanced security comes with fingerprint, face detection and other security features which you can enable using HP proprietory software. I found it so good that i ordered 2 of these from Amazon.We have been using it for about 2 weeks now and thoroughly enjoy watching movies, using WiFi, Skype and other stuff. CircuitCity promptly delivered this to us and i have no reason to complain whatsoever.Hope you all will find the review helpful

I bought this monitor as upgrade to my 22-inch Samsung monitor for my home desktop PC as I needed a larger monitor for when I work at home on occasion. My former 22-in monitor was a good monitor and still works, but pales by comparison for the brightness, clarity, and added screen size. I almost wished I had bought the 27-inch version, but for a tad over $200 for this 25-inch, it was a very good buy. If I get a year's use out of it, then it will have paid for itself. I am pleased with the purchase of this monitor; it has excellent screen clarity working with documents and an excellent picture to stream movies on as well. Having had this monitor for about 3 weeks, I have no complaints about it. It was a good bang for the buck.

Very happy with this model. crisp clear view and very easy to adjust and customize to needs. may glitch out or black out but the solution is simple. unplug the power source let the light go off, then plug back in. if that doesnt resolve hit the window key or unplug from video card. by no means avoid this product because of the few issues. very rarely happens unless my computer decides to change a setting or there is an error in the communication. This is well worth the money and you will not regret.I have been able to resolve the glitching issue. It was caused by my graphics card being sent a message by my reciever and tv when turned on. I had to adjust the dual screening option. working fine now.

Awesome screen real estate and great viewing at many angles. I wouldn't use this for professional caliber graphics work, but for everything else this is perfect. All the workers in my office want one for their workstation now.One issue that has come out is that the web pages will show as intermittently blacked-out in Firefox. Sometimes if I click between multiple web pages the blackness stops and I can see the page. But most of the time I must click off and on Firefox a few times for it to show the page. This never happened before using this monitor, but it could be an issue with my video card.

I have owned a lot of LED backlit LCD monitors, and the color on this one just doesn't match the Samsung I had before it. The contrast is seriously weak, and it makes working on digital art difficult, since what you're seeing isn't anywhere close to the true color. Bad colors also make movies look worse. The refresh rate could also stand to be faster; fast motion blurs substantially, and thus it's not a particularly good monitor for gaming either. I would say this is a great monitor to write up documents on, but that's not entirely true either, because the white background is never quite white, and it gets to be painful to look at.It's a decent monitor, but nothing more. The matte finish on the screen is better than the glossy one that you will typically find now. The best feature is that you can disable the power LED.

Monitor acted funny after about a day. Would change color on half the screen. At first I thought it was the connection. If you would lightly tap on the top of the monitor it would clear but then come and go. I think the monitor looked great when it was working. Amazon was great on the return though. That is why it was so cheap. HP knows it is a lousy quality monitor.

Needed a good monitor without a big price tag and bought this. Color rendition is very good and easy to calibrate. Contrast range is excellent, images are bright and no glare. Running on 1980x1080 using Intel i5 HD 4000 graphics, the monitor is in constant use for photo editing and web authoring.Only drawback is no DisplayPort or HDMI connectivity.

You will not go wrong purchasing this monitor. They first monitor that I bought was an Asus. It did not take me long to realize that I was not going to be happy with it. The stand was not substantial and it allowed the monitor to wobble around when you typed on the keyboard. I ordered this HP 2211x monitor from Amazon.com because they have the best price and also for the fact that I have had great prior experience dealing with Amazon. I am very satisfied with the monitor. It would be great if it had an HDMI so that I could connect up my Mac Mini also. It would also be nice to have USB ports on the side. With the DVI-D port, you get awesome quality that is as good as HDMI.

This display looks great, and works well while it is on. When using with a MacBook Pro (2011 - 13"), the display will not turn back on after the computer blanks the display. Yes, I've disabled the screen saver, yes I've tried settings on the Mac and yes I've called tech support. I've had 15+ monitors over the years and many computers, but never seen an issue like this. If the display didn't look so nice and work so well while it was on I'd return it. The only way to get it to come back on after my computer has gone to sleep is to unplug the display power and then plug it back in. So, 5 stars for use while on, 1 star for power on issues = 3 stars overall.

I just got this yesterday and it's working without issue. It was the retail packaged HP 92A toner cartridge and the box it came in included instructions and a pre-printed UPS shipping label to ship it back to HP for free. I'm dropping mine in the box in an hour or so. Great price for exactly what I wanted. I'm coming back, you know, in 4 years when I need another cartridge.

I originally had my eye on this monitor the moment I laid eyes on it, but originally bought anotherm monitor an e-Machines E211H on the day after Christmas because it was on sale for 99.99 at Staples. I had many problems with that other monitor almost from the moment I bought it, oh sure, when it worked fine, which was for the short time of about an hour, the picture quality and scalability was great. However, after an hour, it caused my PC to freeze up, which was something it NEVER did until that point, and not only that, stuck pixels up the wazoo, let's just say I got what I paid for with that thing, I found out it was manufactured by Acer, and trust me when I tell you this, Acer does NOT make the best monitors. Read my review on said monitor to find out what I mean.Anyway, after 10 days of owning the thing, I finally decided enough was enough, and traded it in. Got a full refund, and needless to say, I was ecstatic that I did, and with money in hand, went to my local Best Buy, and convinced them to price match Wal-Mart's price of 144.88, as I was originally torn between this one and an LG monitor, and decided after doing a price match, to go with this one, I actually liked the picture of the HP more anyway, the colour was alot brighter and vibrant without me having to tweak anything, whereas the LG monitor? I had to tweak it some in order for it to even be remotely close. Needless to say though, after paying and driving back to my house and setting it up, I knew I finally had the monitor I was meant to have in the first place. The first thing I noticed was that it complimented my new desktop speakers, and my keyboard with the silver and black colour scheme, and upon booting it, no stuck pixels.I like the fact that unlike the e-Machines E211H, this thing has some weight to it, it actually felt sturdy in my hands, and the stand which was pre-assembled, was not flimsy. And did I mention the uber-sexy glossy finish with the black part of the monitor? Seriously, this thing looks as good as it functions. I installed the drivers of course, and set the resolution to it's native 1600 x 900. Needless to say, I was, and am blown away by this thing. The picture is crystal clear and vibrant, I can't speak for the speakers since I use external speakers, but man, the picture just pops out at you, no joke. You also get a great viewing area, I honestly have a difficult time believing that this thing is only 20" wide, as it certainly looks and feels bigger to me.The only major fault I can find with this monitor is that there is limited scalability, the only area that the e-Machines has over this monitor would be this, there's only three resolutions that this monitor can display, but when you view it at it's native resolution of 1600 x 900, you won't care, you'll just be marveling over the picture quality, and the quality of the monitor in general. I also heard the internal speakers are weak, but then again, don't internal speakers usually suck anyway? So that flaw can easily be corrected by using external speakers anyway.BTW, games look amazing on this thing. Civilization IV and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion look fantastic, you won't be disappointed. This monitor is great for games too. Trust me, if you're looking to get a quality LCD monitor at a rock bottom price, I would highly recommend you look no further than buying an HP. They make a quality monitor, trust me, I've owned three of them in the past. I got nothing but love for this thing, and can safely say that this is the one I should've bought in the first place. Definitely a five-star rating for this product from me!

I got this monitor so that i could play Ps3 and for dual monitoring with my imac.Pros~First off the monitor was way bigger than i thought, and was the perfect size for me.~Second the quality is amazing, I had read reviews about people being able to see their reflections on the monitor, but that is not the case for me.~Third the 5ms response time is FAST! I played a couple of online black ops games and not one bit of ghosting.~Fourth It came extremely well packaged and with everything I needed. I already had an HDMI cable so I didn't have to worry.Cons~No speakers or audio, that might be a problem for some, but i already had speakers and headset so I wasn't bothered at at all.~The menu navigation took a little bit of guessing to see which buttons did what, but got fairly easy as I get used to it.Overall This monitor went above and beyond the call. Im Going to be playing 1080P and am extremely pleased as a Customer!

I needed a new monitor for photography and I am truly surprised by the quality of this monitor. I have increased my editing area by twice the size of my old flat screen square monitor. I still find that for printing through the commercial firm I use requires an increase of one-half to one stop of exposure which photoshop does beautifully. The prints are right on target for color, contrast, etc. I cannot recommend this monitor highly enough. For all my other work, net, writing, etc. I simply reduce the width of the program to have them as useful as ever. A fine monitor and tool for all my work. Look no further if you want a monitor that will not eat up more than one paycheck.

On the very first boot, its takes about 45 minutes to install more bloatware/crapware than you can possibly imagine. Even though you paid for this computer, HP has already sold it to their advertising partners. You cant even use it for close to an hour after you get it and then barely after that. DO NOT BUY.

After searching for a new monitor to replace my HP2207 (which is still working great, just gave it to my son). I finally settled on the HP 2511x.It doesn't have vertical adjustments for height, but you can adjust the angle. The color was stunning, but a bit too bright for my taste. I first tried one of the built in adjustments Movie, Photo, Gaming, Text or Custom. After trying out each I finally settled on Custom. Once I got the monitor adjusted it was perfect.Inside the box you will get two video cables, one legacy and one DVI along with a power cable and adaptor, I thought the cord was a bit short where I needed to run power to, buy your mileage may vary.Colors are vibrant, the clarity top of the line, and text is very clear even at small fonts. On an excel spreadsheet you can view Row 40 and Column AC. Set up was easy with Windows 7, the system found the monitor and set it at the correct resolution without me having to so much as lift a finger. I did go ahead and install the drivers that came with the monitor, but couldn't tell any difference.I am very pleased with this monitor. No dead pixels, no blurs, just a clean wonderful picture. If you want to try LED at a reasonable price, this monitor is for you.

I returned this because it was just not usable for text work. As a secondary monitor for my (non-retina) MacBook Pro, the poor color saturation and jaggy pixellation really stood out when moving from screen to screen. The resolution just isn't good enough for a monitor of this size.

We purchased two (2) of these monitors for a software engineer and they worked great until about four (4) months in. With the first monitor, the digital ports went out - both the HDMI and DVI ports. We tried connecting it to multiple computers, both Mac and PCs - no dice. Two days later, the second monitor did the same thing. The VGA ports worked, but on both monitors, the digital ports wouldn't work at all. We're currently trying to get them replace by HP - we'll see how that goes. All in all, we have about 30 LCD monitors on site and these were the only two that have given us problems. We've been die hard Acer/Asus fans because of their price performance and we went out on a limb to try the HPs. We won't be buying any LCD's from them again. We'll stick with what works.

I read the reviews on this monitor at Best Buy as I was looking at it. I do not buy monitors online any more due to bad experiences in the past, but anyway. The reviews looked good, it looked good there. So I decided to give it a shot, especially with the 30 MGB BestBuy have. So I went ahead and bought it. I came home, hooked it up, and WOAH... BRIGHTNESS!!!! Exactly what I was looking for, and it is the closest I have ever seen to an Apple Thunderbolt Display. This is a ___GREAT___ product. If you are thinking about buying it, stop thinking and start buying. It is worth every penny.

I was back and forth between the 23 inch model and the 25 inch model. Realized after going in to a local best buy that the 23 inch model has a matte (not glossy) screen. I happen to prefer glossy screens since IMO they have slightly better colors and overall quality, although most average users probably wont notice a difference. Really it should all come down to your personal budget and preferred screen size. I do really believe though that this monitor offers great bang for your buck. Highly recommended for the price range. 5 stars.

My HP 2509 monitor died on me this weekend after only 14 months of use, coincidentally just after the expiration of the warranty. The screen flickered a few times and then went dark. HP designated three repair centers in my vicinity, and two of these were no longer in business. The one active repair center advised me to buy a new monitor, since the cost of having them even look at mine would be prohibitive. Although I was pleased with the image quality of my HP monitor when it worked, I am very disappointed that it failed so soon and in HP's customer service. I will not buy another HP monitor anytime soon.

First screen I ordered was with a defected backlight. The replacement displays a slightly trembling image when certain colors are there and when video is playing. It (the trembling) is like I bought a CRT screen and I work it at 50 Mhz frequency refresh rate.Also I cannot get a real black. It is always a dark blue, no matter the brightness I set. I have tried other LED screens and I get a much darker black

***Pros***I bought this laptop as a family utility machine, it sits in my living room and at least 4 people use it regularly. I was looking for something that was new and had new components, this has a 2nd gen Intel I3 processor along with a USB 3.0 port and bluetooth 3.0. The major pro to this machine is the price along with some new features. The screen display and keyboard are nice as well. It also has a 720P Webcam with facial recognition software and fingerprint reader(it doesn't always work though). For those that care about noise this thing doesn't really make any, my previous laptop fan ran a lot.***Cons***I took a star off because the machine has lots of crap software on it. It would be nice if you could have the option of just getting it shipped with the OS only. There are also 3 partitions on the hard drive, 1 called HP recovery, 2nd which is FAT32 for HP tools, and a 3rd for everything else. I'm still working on removing crap software, but it still runs fast and boots in 20 - 30 seconds.***Other***This is not a gaming laptop so if you want it to play the latest and greatest games look elsewhere. You should be able to play most web games or anything that doesn't require a dedicated video card.Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase. I researched for about a month straight and ended up on this one based on highest functionality for the price combined with the newest hardware.***Update 8/19/2011***I updated to 5 stars because I am very satisfied with this machine. The processor is really fast and I really like the USB 3.0 backups are super fast. I don't use the webcam or transport the laptop much so I can't really comment on that. For the price its an excellent machine.

I have had this computer for 7 months and have had nothing but problems. HP was no help. Now the computer will not even turn on. It comes with so much per installed junk with things running in the background all the time. When I tried to remove the junk the computer crashed. I will never buy a HP again, their support stinks. Lucky for me I bought Square Trade insurance, so the good news is I will be able to replace this computer.

My old ViewSonic died and I tried this as a replacement. The letters are fuzzy compared to all my other LCD displays. Tried playing with the settings and resolution and it didn't get better. I think it is just a poor quality LCD. I don't even have any fancy retina displays and my vision isn't what it used to be either. I don't think the unit is defective.

Only downside is that the stand is slightly flimsy for a monitor of this size. I would've liked a slightly stronger base. Overall, great product for the price!!

Bought this for my wife who is a technical writer and needs to see 2 pages side by side in Open Office. Even without an HDMI input, the text is sharp and really pops out at you, probably due to the LED lighting. She can look at text on this monitor all day without eye strain. Before I gave it up to my wife, I "broke in" this monitor on a gaming rig for a week, and it performed very well there, too. The power supply is a brick but the cable going from the brick to the monitor is long enough to let you put the brick away somewhere it won't be noticed. The monitor itself is surprisingly light, but is very stable on the desk. Overall, this is a very nice monitor, especially if you don't have HDMI and already have speakers.

It arrive ahead of time. It works great and we all love the large screen. FYI, shipping the monitor did have shipping damage. It did not hinder the monitor from working. The damage was on top of the frame, so you really cannot see it unless you were look on top. Just mentioning it for future shipping. The box was smashed in on top and one of the sides was also smashed.Thank you for your quick delievery, again we are all enjoying the large screen.Have a great day!

Especially when watching movies or playing games, this screen is a superb upgrade versus my old 1900x1080 LCD...guess the newer LED tech is the reason...even without 120hz refresh, watching sporting events online via ESPN yields excellent screenings.

My monitor is perfect and is exactly what I wanted......recommend you invest in one also. I can have the internet up on half the screen and my working document on the other half and cut, paste and footnote perfectly in my writings.......

Великолепно

OMG, the colors and sharpness are brilliant and I am just using the VGA connection with my older HP 17" laptop. I tried the HDMI cord I purchased but did not get sound out of my computer's external speakers and switching to VGA did not lessen the quality as far as I can tell. I did have a hard time inserting the monitor squarely into the stand but I am very happy with this purchase and the OSD menu is easy to use plus you can adjust the display settings on your computer and get the helpful user guide at the hp website.

Хорошо

This monitor was purchased as a replacement for an even larger one. Although it does the job the screen is highly reflective which is a bit of a distraction.
