The resolution of the monitor could not be easily adjusted from my Macintosh. The HiRes image did not fill the screen and was misshapen. On the plus side, Amazon allowed me to return it at no cost to me.

This is a very bright monitor and the picture is excellent. Great monitor for the price. Does not adjustable height, so you will probably want to get a monitor stand.

I purchased this monitor to replace a 19" one. When you think, only 2 1/2" larger, but it is just right for the space I need. I have always been an HP fan and this is just what I needed.

This netbook is just what I've been wanting, to keep me connected with family and friends when I travel. It is very light and simple to use. The keyboard is large enough so I don't accidently hit the wrong key and the screen is just the right size. Aside from all these great qualities, it is good-looking!

This was by far the cheapest source of hp printer cartridges, and they shipped very quickly. The only downside is the "freshness" dating on the cartridges, which is about one year from when I got them. I'd order again, though.

yes it costs more than the knock-offs; however these always work the best!!! I have not opened this one yet as it is an extra however it is a H.P. so I know from experience it will be fine. The company I purchased it from has fair pricing and fast shipping.

Excellent monitor has a clear, sharp display. The tilting stand is a added bonus. (I'm not using the speakers, so I can't comment on those.)For the size a price, a great deal.Recommended.

Just purchased this monitor to replace a good but 3 year old Samsung with 3:4 format. I am very impressed with the HP and happy that I selected it. The images are crisp and colors are great. Some HP monitors I have looked at seem to present a "washed out" picture. Not this one. It is bright and intense.I paired this with a new ATI/Visiontek Radeon HD 4670 with 1 GB DDR memory. Not the most expensive card in the world but an excellent fit with this monitor. I don't do a lot of gaming or watch HD movies but I feel that with this monitor and the HD card I am getting an extremely high resolution viewing experience with all apps.Two minor nits: the monitor does not pivot on the horizontal axis although it does pivot a little vertically.Also, could not connect a DVI-HDMI cable and make it work. Had to use straight DVI but I will try this again.Highly recommend.

I purchased this monitor as a X-Mas gift for my daughter's computer to replace her smaller monitor. It arrived on time and was simple plug-n-play set up. works great, looks good and she can see all of those "evil monsters" she kills on her game easier. Oh, she can see her term papers easier too! :) Great price!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He seems to enjoy it. The color is very nice The only thing that would make it better is a higher resolution but even that is not to bad.

This monitor was purchased as a gift.I chose the HP Brand based on my experience with 2 years of trouble free service using an Hp 19 inch LCD model # HP w1907.My son uses his 20 inch monitor every day.He too is delighted with the product.I have never had a problem with any HP product.

Opened package set up monitor and it automatically calibrated. I tweaked the settings a bit. Acceptable Monitor. Has trouble adjusting to different Resolutions in different games. I notice a kind of distortion that fuzzes out vertical lines. When it is set to the recommended resolution, it performs wonderfully. The speakers are unacceptable, Very thin sounding. Low Price decent picture.

I am very happy with this monitor. Was putting together a new system for photography, so my priority was color accuracy, but I didn't want to shell out $800-$1000+ bucks for a monitor. ID'd this model after researching forums @ photo.net & dpreview.com, hoping for an IPS panel but thinking I'd probably end up w/ an MPA, since in this price range mfrs use either one & don't specify. I lucked out and got the IPS. Out of the box, colors were a bit intense & too red, but after calibrating w/ Monaco Optix XR, colors are fine. Images appear rich & finely detailed. After calibration, I ran it through the LCD tests provided at http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/, and it performed extremely well. Color matching w/ prints from my Epson 2200 are the best I've seen from any of my monitors (this is #4), including my first Trinitron CRT. I love the big screen size (1600x1200) & 4:3 format; a 20" 4:3 screen is a lot more viewable area than a 20" widescreen. A couple of minor complaints: the stand, while easy to adjust, is *extremely* heavy. Also, the built-in 4-port USB hub was an added attraction, but in reality the ports are recessed in the back & almost impossible to find & access from the front. It's annoying but usable for permanently placed USB devices, but for anything requiring quick & easy access & removal (e.g., a flash drive), it's completely unworkable; don't even think about it. Overall, though, this is a fine monitor and a great find at this price. Would choose it again, no question. -- Peter McEntee

What does one need in a good monitor?, Well, this monitor answers the question by giving all that one wants with a monitor. Easy installation, great viewing area, a great company name and last but not least a great price tag..I paid $139 and I feel that the value clearly outweighs the price tag...

Like it a lot. Very clear and no bad pixels. A very sturdy base, which you oftentimes don't see on the new monitors. Only wish that you could control the screen menu from the computer, rather that doing it manually from the monitor. But thats really no big deal. I highly recommend it.

Works great with my Mac. The clarity and image quality are excellent and the price is incredible. The main drawback is the limp speaker system. While glossy screens are an issue in the computer world right now I found that using the monitor for computer work was problem free and I didn't notice reflections until trying to watch a show on Hulu. This particular program is normally made with a low atmospheric video level and then the reflections on the glossy front started to compete with the image. My older matte Viewsonic LCD on another computer plays this program fine. I'll recommend this monitor to anyone.

There are other reviews on this site that get technical, but I am just going to say that this monitor is fantastic. It has a bright clear image that seems huge. The built in speakers do not have enough volume, but as I have may own speakers, this is not a problem for me.

The local City Marketdoes not carry 92 & 93. They only carry reconditioned cartridges. They are very inferior. H&P does not deliver to PO Boxes. We have no home delivery of mail in Vail. I therefor have to order through Amazon on line.
