The first one I got developed a couple of vertical lines, in yellow and blue. HP replaced it under warranty. The replacement has a loud buzzing noise when it is displaying a picture. The noise goes away when the computer goes to sleep. I don't use the speakers.I called HP before one year from my original purchase. They said it was out of warranty. The customer service guy suggested that Amazon isn't an authorized re-seller, and so the warranty started from when Amazon bought it from HP rather than when I bought it through Amazon. HP's site says Amazon is an authorized re-seller, so it may be the customer service guy is wrong and it is really the case that they decided I only could have 90 days on the replacement, never mind the full year I should have had originally.I have no problems with it except the noise. The picture quality is stunning. But I'm trying to think who do I know that can't hear very well...

received the item in a timely manner...when I put it in the printer...it advised the levels were low and it has caused the printer to have problems ever since. would never buy like this again. I went back to purchasing from HP.

A really nice monitor except that the integrated speakers are on the back of the monitor which gives it a muffled sort of sound and there is no jack for headphones.

I got this monitor for several reasons. It is excellent for the price. It comes with an HDMI/VGA connections which was perfect for my Mac mini and allows me to use HDMI and up the display to HD resolution. I do a lot of image and video editing and it helps that colors on this monitor are bright and everything looks very crisp. The widescreen allows me to see more of my work. It looks really slick and the piano black finish and silver stand would make this monitor look great on any desk. It is wall mountable as they have the holes in the back to attach a VESA wall mount. I don't use the built in speaker as I have this attached to a pair of studio monitors.The only thing that I didn't like about it is that it didn't come with DVI. I should have gotten one with a DVI so I can use the HDMI from my Mac to connect to an HDTV. But overall, I am very satisfied with this and would recommend it to anyone.

I am very pleased with this product. I have poor eyes and the screen is bright and contrasty, vastly improved my ability to read and view images. The screen is glossy and shows reflections but one knows that going in and seems worth the trade for deep colors and blacks. Wide range of tilt, slightly wobbly but almost all monitors seem to be now.No complaint here.I like the clean simple design. I do wish HP would send a simple instruction book. Dumb me thought the on light was the power switch as did a computer tech friend. I sent it back to HP and discovered the actual switch was on the bottom, not the raised symbol on the front . Now I know and the controls work well. I am very pleased, great picture and viewing angles fine for normal needs. I do not think I could fine a better monitor for the cost.

I've used this product for a year and it has never missed a beat. Excellent color and very responsive. It looks as good now as it did when I first turned it on. I would highly recommend this monitor looking for an excellent product at an excellent price.

This display replaced an aging 19" Samsung 4:3 LCD that I was using in combination with my laptop display. The goal was to replace both with a single, large display. I must say this 23" 16:9 LCD from HP fits the bill perfectly.It only took about 3 minutes to unbox, adjust the stand, and cable to power and the VGA & audio ports on my docking station. Following some previous advice seen in other reviews, I powered down my laptop and didn't boot until the new display was in place and powered up.My laptop is an HP nc6400 corporate workhorse running WinXP. I booted-up docked with the laptop lid shut, and it was quite happy with the external w2338h. I loaded the new display drivers from the included CD. No reboot was required. Somewhere between the boot and completion of the display driver load, my display adapter res snapped to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz which is precisely what the display wants.This is the most beautiful display I've ever seen, bar none. It sits about 16.5" high, so it fits perfectly under my 18" hutch. The built-in speakers fire out the back which is fine because the back of my hutch bounces it back toward me. With all due respect to other reviews, the speakers aren't that bad. Though not worthy of a home theater, the built-in speakers are certainly adequate for normal "PC" sound and they beat the built-in speakers on my laptop for sure.The display coating is glossy vs. matte. This enables exceptionally vibrant colors and sharp resolution. It also means you'll potentially see reflections from lighted objects behind you, but it takes all of about 30 seconds for your brain to start ignoring those. Having this much screen real estate is awesome. The display has standard lock slot in the back which I've pressed into service to ensure the wife doesn't "reallocate" my new display.I've not tried the HDMI input yet and probably won't in the foreseeable future, so I can't vouch for display behavior using HDMI. With the VGA input, the display fills every pixel with no black frame or letterbox.If you're shopping for a big, gorgeous display, this is it!Disclaimer: I am an HP employee, but I don't work for the Personal Systems Group (PSG). I bought this monitor 3 months agono problems so far+1080P, highest Full HD-No HDMI cable included, but i bought this hdmi cableHDMI Cable 2M (6 Feet) which was on sale for less than $5 and it works perfectly, no need to but those $30 hdmi cable in stores which to me is a total ripoff, trust me i've tried an HDMI cable my friend bought for $45 and there was no difference+You can tilt the screen up, which is good if your tv is on the floor and you're sitting on a chair LOL+The built-in speakers are pretty loudPORTS1 VGA1 HDMI1 AUDIO JACK (TO PLUG IN EXTRENAL SPEAKERS OR HEADPHONES)One thing I really like is that it has a sleep mode, lets say you turn off your PS3, after about 5 minutes the monitor goes to sleep mode.I never have to turn off the screen because once i start up my PS3 again it automatically wakes up.HP makes great products and this is one of them

It is almost two years now since I have purchase this Monitor. From the day that i purchase it I am a very please customer. It has a built in speaker, and i also connect two extra speaker so it is a bit loud, which i love. the 20" screen it nice.I would advise everyone who is considering buying this monitor, just buy it, you will never be disappointed.

I own a Apple 21.5 inch imac, My wife owns a 27 inch imac. I also got a HP elite six core monster hooked up to a HP 2509m which I like. I got this monitor because of my current monitor for my PC the HP 2509M and it's impressive display.Now I know the HP 2511 isn't supposed to look as good as my wife's 27 inch imac,but it does.I called HP Tech support and they told me this panel is a S-PVA display. IPS is supposed to be better than S-PVA, but by looking at my wifes 27inch imac, which has a yellow hue to the screen, the HP 2511 looks better, the whites are whiter and the blacks are blacker. No black light bleed, no dead or stuck pixels. Even colors. This panel just plain looks better.I have this side by side in dual mode with my imac 21.5 inch and use this as my main display and i could not be happier. I would give this monitor six stars if I could.

Bought a HP 23" monitor from HP on Sept.3 2010. The thing went black on 4/21. Called HP and was told the thing was not under warranty from a Sept. 3 purchase because according to HP their warranty's actually start when the monitor is manufactured not when it is sold and the warranty on this monitor had 9 months expired the day I bought it, though this was not in any way communicated. I had a monitor 7 months old which is now junk with no warranty coverage of any kind from HP. Don't buy HP.

I ended up returning this monitor. Web pages looked awesome. No matter how much I tinkered with the settings, I couldn't get photos to look realistic. Any shadows in photos appeared very digitized, no matter what I did. I think I'll stick with Samsung. I was replacing a Samsung SyncMaster 932BW. This monitor looked great right out of the box, so I'll just upgrade to another Samsung. I'll still give it 3 stars, since there may have been a setting that I was unable to find but it definitely doesn't look good out of the box

Let me start by saying that I'm please with this monitor. Currently, I am dual-screening it with a Dell laptop running Windows 7. All good so far.My only problem with this device has been a "flickering" issue. It wasn't completely apparent but when displaying certain colors, it would be quite annoying. I did a little research online and found this page: [...] The issue, if you are having a similar problem, has to do with a ground loop as the article states. If the flickering goes away when you disconnect the AC adapter of your laptop, this is most likely the problem that you are experiencing. To fix the issue, you need a 3 prong to 2 prong grounding converter. I bought this item, [...], and connected it to my monitor. I haven't experience any flickering ever since.I hope this helps!

I own more than 30 of these - most of them setup for multi-monitor displays in our office. We aren't doing anything too complex but we are staring at these things for hundreds of hours per week (collectively). For the money these units are darn hard to beat. The picture is crisp, the units look very nice, and we have yet to have one fail. HP products are a little hard to understand when it comes to SKU's and model's (and SmartBuy vs. non-SmartBuy), but overall these units are a great value.

I bought this product, thinking it was a NEW item, insteadit came in a dilapidated box that suggests its been in a floodor other calamity. The seal was not broken, that is why I kept itotherwise I would have returned same.I am very disappointed as to howe this merchandize was presented

As others have noted, this is a bright, well sized, and crystal clear monitor. I appreciate the matte finish screen that eliminates glare. The wide screen is handy when displaying two documents, photos, or tax forms side by side. For those of us who are challenged by progressive bifocals, I recommend this monitor.HINTS:1. When ordering this monitor,and if your computer has a DVI-D output, order a DVI-D connector at the same time to save some cash. Amazon's price is much cheaper than Radio Shack (I found out after the monitor arrived).2. I discovered several years ago a residue removal technique that works on all those pesky super sticky labels manufacturers put on everything from pots & pans to computer monitors. Use the label itself to remove the residue. Peel the label off carefully. Then blot (with a little pressure) the sticky residue with the sticky side of the label. For some reason the residue has an affinity for the original label. Perhaps because glue formulas vary. I did this with the HP label and got all the residue off in about three minutes with no damage. Hope this helps.

I too noticed that the speakers were not performing to my expectations.So i purchased a set of external speakers the ones that come with a BASS speaker and 2 satellite speakers that hook to the BASS.Instead of using the 2 satellite speakers i hooked the output from the BASS to the monitor, this worked great for me.So i concluded that the problem is they should have integrated some sort of small amplifier into the monitor, but of course its a COMPAQ which translates to "CHEAP HP", but it more than serves its purpose, I am satisfied.Just for reference the speakers i purchased were "COBY CSMP67" which is only 50 watt.

This is a beautiful monitor with good colors and viewscreen. But if you don't like the 16:1 aspect ratio, you can change it. This is the first monitor of this style that I have and the settings are many to customize. But once I got this setup, it is the best looking one that I have seen. Looks like hi-def. Comes package from HP perfect and setup is easy. Just needs to have included a DVI-D cable (not included). Only con is the sticker (or decal) located at top. Very hard to remove so I left it there. I don't see it as I've raised the monitor up and the desk overhead shelf is covering it. But it does need to be removable. I would give it a 5 star except for the sticker.

I typically run twin monitors on my desktop PC's because it's easier to multitask with multimonitors. Unfortunately, I had a monitor die (a Viewsonic, old age) and so I ran out to buy a new monitor to get me by. The first one to catch my eye was this HP2009m with brightview technology. I'm familiar with it as my HP notebook uses it for a display and it's gorgeous. I wanted two, but the Wal*Mart store only had one so I bought the second unit from Amazon. Usually when a store is about out of something, that says to me it's good stuff. It's the products gathering dust on the shelves you got to worry about.The resolution is outstanding, at 1600x900 (1600x1800 with twins top and bottom) and using the large icon setting to get around the dinky look of icons on the high-res desktop, the display is crisp. With a 5ms response time, the video looks very clean with none of the streaking that plagued older LCD screens like the ones these monitors replaced.The price is incredible, the display is flawless, I'm almost at a loss to find anything bad to say about this monitor, but if I had any recommendations to improve them:The bright white power LED is something I'm sure HP thought was cute, but I've seen pocket flashlights putting out less light. That could really be toned down.Adjustable height would be nice. Adjusting the height pretty much consists of changing the height of whatever you set it on. The feet are fixed height. It's 2" up off the desk. If you want it lower than that, tough luck and if you want it higher than that set it on a phone book or something.With twin monitors, color does shift with viewing angle. I'm sure this is because of the glossy brightview coating and while it's not a showstopper, it's something a twin monitor user would notice.Overall, I'm very happy with the monitor, especially given the price to performance. It's an inexpensive monitor that makes me rethink the old saw about getting what you paid for. This monitor delivers beyond expectations.

We bought this ink cautiously, as I was a little concerned it would not last as long as the ink I buy in the store. But, it appears to be identical to the store-bought ink, and we have not had any problems with it. I was glad to have saved time and money for a product that is just as good!

Prints OK when it works. 95% of them work. But the blue and white air tight bags that HP seals the ink cartridges in DON'T have expiration dates. If the expiration date printed on the cartridge is past, and the cartridge doesn't work, then HP won't guarantee the cartridge and you are out $24. Thing is, you won't know this until you open the bag which says, from HP, "Keep sealed until ready for use." Although the box containing the bags has a date, HP leaves it up to the user to transfer those dates to the individual "Keep sealed.." bags. These cartridges do indeed "expire" so don't store too many in your drawer.

Originally this monitor worked great. The picture is pretty good, but the sound from the built in speakers was far from good. I bought this monitor as a desktop package and had issues with the system from the start. Then, 29 days after the warranty expires the monitor goes. I spent many, many hours on the phone with the HP computer support with nothing but multiple different stories and lasting frustration. I could not find a call center in the United States. All support was from people in other countries with difficult accents to follow, every time I got a different story and I was even told that I could not speak with a supervisor unless I paid since my warranty just expired. After being told by two reps that this model of monitor has had many problems but the new one is better, I was still denied any resolution about a faulty screen that happened to go out less than a month after the manufacture's 1 year warranty. I would not recommend this product both for quality and for the lack of decent customer support that steals away any integrity the company has.

I am the 'old-fashioned' Vacuum tube expert...I found my new HP GS918A8 L1910 19-Inch LCD Monitor here at Amazon for $130.00, NEW, plus shipping. This is my very first High-Tech monitor; a far cry from the CRT's I have known so well for many years. It works great with my new HP Compaq dx-2450 Business PC. The included CD software is extremely impressive! Set-up is simple; even for me...It makes my Digital pictures appear as if taken by a 'Professional.' I owe all these positive attributes to 'good-ole' Amazon; who fill my every need!I highly recommend my PC, Monitor, and Amazon... Happy New Year folks, and, God Bless America!

This monitor shows images beautifully! They just pop with color. I did have to turn the brightness down to less than half as the whites were way to bright for working for long hrs on the computer. I also am going to have to reconfigure my office as I get tons of reflection on the glossy surface which is really distracting. If I were doing it again, I would have gotten a more matte screen for every day computer use. That being said, it is beautiful quality and would be amazing if you were just using it for graphics, gaming, movies, etc.

I researched and researched and returned a dell monitor to get this one. It's AMAZING. So clear, so rich and sleek. It was a steal. I LOVE this monitor! Perfect size, perfet price. The gloss screen really makes it. Get one!

Must admit,I was surprised my order arrived so quickly--regular business delivery used. Fantastic job w/packing monitor--secured well--withstood overnight delivery handling! Monitor's quality is fantastic--using it now! Set-up instructions are clear--pictures used. Actually tilting the monitor so that it could sit on the desktop was a little tricky for me. Concerned with not damaging the monitor--I was somewhat tentative tilting the monitor back--but managed to do so.

This was an excellent buy at a great price! Arrived promptly. The picture quality (LED) is as good as the MAC I have at home. No problems so far. I may not have bought an LED if the price was not so good for an HP product.

I used to swear by the Dell Ultrasharp line of monitors, but not anymore. This monitor delivers the clearest picture for a VGA connection I have ever seen. It's a beauty to look at, and the stand beats stands from most of the other available monitors I've researched. Don't worry about lack of brightness either... I had to turn it way down out-of-the-box. I'm starting to become an HP fan. I have their Officejet Pro 8500 multi-function printer, and Windows Home Server. I've been very happy with each of these purchases.

Sorry to have to leave a negative review, but I was very disappointed in this monitor. While the external finish of the unit is great, and text is clear and sharp, and it's great to have a 1920x1080 monitor that doubles as a small HDTV for such a low price, there is one BIG problem: vertical viewing angle.It's important to keep in mind that there are two types of LCD panels - one is much more expensive but it has a much wider viewing angle, especially in the vertical plane. I don't remember the names of they two different types of panels, but this HP unit is definitely the cheaper type with a VERY narrow vertical viewing angle. As mentioned in other reviews, out of the box brightness comes set to 'sear your eyeballs'. But the problem is that, even after adjustment using a true test disc like Video Essentials, the brightness level shifts greatly if you move your head up or down just a few inches. And the 'proper' brightness is with your eyes close to parallel to the bottom of the monitor, which of course can't be done for regular use. I use Adobe Premiere for HD video editing, and use the very darkest work background - which on a properly calibrated monitor appears dark charcoal gray, almost black. On this monitor, it was anywhere from medium gray to very light gray, depending on if you move your head up or down a few inches. Also, despite all possible adjustments, colors look slightly posterized on this display.I was hoping to get lucky and get a great 1080p HD monitor for under $200, but as they say 'there's no free lunch'! To get a truly high-quality display at this size and resolution requires spending more for the better type of LCD panel. I wish I could recommend this display, I wanted to love it after reading the reviews, but the huge problem of viewing angle is simply unacceptable to me. Sadly, it's going back to Amazon.

Ive had this for over one year or more, using it now and ive never faced any major problems with it. the only thing is that one of the buttons wasnt functioning properly due to the fact that i never touched it but after a few uses starts working. great colors and thats all i have to say. i got this from pc richards and son at that time for almost $250 if i remember correctlyVery recommended

I have a HP PSC2210 All-in-one printer, which I bought new when they first came out; it's around 8 years old. A couple of years ago, HP apparently starting encoding 'expiration dates' into it's printer cartridges, which caused the printer to be stuck in an error message until the user replaced the ink with brand new (not refill) cartridges. At around $70 normal retail for the 56 & 57 cartridge pack, it seemed an exorbitant fee just for the privilege of having ink for printing. For someone like me, who doesn't print a whole lot, it is quite the gouge in my pocketbook for wasted ink.DataBazaar has a great price for the exact product I need, and they filled my order quickly. The only suggestion I would have for them is for them to note somewhere how old the product is; actually, HP should print that on the boxes themselves!The fact that my printer has lasted 8 years is commendable; however, this consumer gouging tactic guarantees that I will never buy another HP device again. DataBazaar has made it easier for me to continue using the printer I have until such time as I can get a different one.

I bought this monitor in June 2010. It was kind of a pain to setup. I had connections from a PC through DVI and a PS3 with HDMI. After a bit of button pushing it worked out okay. Nice picture and all, however after 6 months it died, black screen.Followed the troubleshooting steps on the HP website but no luck.I tried to see if it was under warranty but the SN and model numbers don't work on the HP website. It kind of weird that the warranty would expire after only 6 months. No other way of contacting HP since I can't prove its under warranty. They only talk to you if your product is under warranty. I still have to try working through a problem with a printer too, but I dread it. Looks like HP has gone down the tubes, I won't be buying anymore HP products.

Received this item in very good time and condition. It works just like new and looks as good as new. Since it was a used monitor, it did not come with a manual or CD. No problem. HP is very accommodating to it's users, so I picked up a copy of the manual and all software from their website. Very happy with unit and seller.

I'm upgrading from my Samsung 226bw 22" and have to say this monitor blows that one away. My Samsung has a faster refresh rate at 2ms vs this 5ms one which is my only complaint. I do notice the difference playing games but the quality and size of the picture makes up for it. The full HD makes this double as a movie viewer if I'm too lazy to go to the "big" screen! LED backlight makes the blacks blacker and colors more vibrant. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Just bough a couple of these monitors last Black Friday (2010)since I've been wanting to take advantage of using dual monitors to extend my desktop. These monitors are pretty good over all. They support full HD 1080p resolution and have a very attractive overall design. They have a set of rear-firing speakers, and because of this rare arrangement, the volume must be set higher than normal to be able to hear them clearly. The glossy screen is too reflective for my taste, and so is the piano black bezel. They tilt and pivot you cannot adjust the height. In conclusion, as long as you don't mind the reflective screen and the rear-firing speakers, these monitors are actually pretty good.

After checking through all of the specifications for various 19" monitors, I settled on this one. One of the primary concerns was was contrast - most offer 700:1, this unit offers 1000:1. Now, the ViewSonic offers an ENHANCED 2000:1 contrast, but its NATIVE contrast is still 700:1. I didn't want artificial enhancement that will likely cause color changes. That was a primary selling point for me as I'm used to using CRT monitors. Additionally, I found that the resolution is pretty much the same - 1440x900 on most of the 19" monitors - some are less resolution, though. There wasn't that much difference in price between this one and the lowest priced monitors with less contrast and, when you figure out the price difference over the life of the monitor, it amounts to nothing.I do a lot of image processing and have tended to stay with CRT monitors for their color. After I received and plugged this HP in, I'm finished with CRT! I use dual monitors to expand the desktop across two monitors. At the outset this meant one CRT and this LCD. If anything, the HP LCD is better than the CRT - unless you get to an EXTREME viewing angle. In fact, I liked this one so well, I'm ordering another matching one to replace the other CRT and will use two LCDs instead of the two former CRTs.The best part was the wide screen and resolution. This gives so much more space than the CRT! I use my CRT set at 1024 x 768 resolution - which does make things small and sometimes a little tough to see for an older guy like me. The HP LCD set at 1440 x 900 resolution gives more screen space and has the added benefit of having things just a bit larger than on the CRTs - making life easier to view if your eyes aren't quite what they used to be.Note for screen space comparisons: CRTs were 15" diagonal - 9" high x 12" wide; this LCD is 19" diagonal - 10" high and 16" wide. Setting a window at full width on the CRT at 1024x768 resolution then moving it to the LCD at 1440x900 resolution occupies about 2/3 of the LCD screen and even though the resolution is finer, the viewing size of everything is slightly larger. My CRT monitors were Dell and ViewSonic.This is a very nice looking monitor with an adjustable base, super-light-weight - especially as compared with CRT! This HP monitor works extremely well at all lower resolutions, but the 1440x900 is best for me.Oh, the LCD monitor uses only a fraction of the electricity of the CRT, even though BOTH are Energy Star certified.PROBLEMS: The only problem I had was when first attempting to set the monitor to 1440x900 resolution. The display went crazy! An email to HP Tech Support (they don't seem to provide phone tech support - or I couldn't find it) got a reply in less than 24 hours and they suggested an updated driver for my video card. I am using a Dell XPS Gen 2 with a 128 MB ATI Radeon 9800 card (3.5 years old). The driver updates made everything work perfectly.I checked prices everywhere and, considering taxes, shipping, etc. - couldn't beat Amazon's deal so I ordered the second one from Amazon, as well. This monitor has the HP 3 year warranty. I have seen a couple that were just a bit cheaper with a 1 year warranty - though they were not identified as such, that must be for a refurbished model... for the extra $15. I'll take a new one with a 3 year warranty every time! Walmart sells the same monitor under a different model number - checking the HP website shows the standard HP Model Number along with the WalMart/HP Model Number. WalMart is only $210 - but then add sales taxes and you've over the Amazon price - plus you have to drive to the store to get it - AFTER they ship site-to-store (not available in stores) and you wait a week or more for that! Either way, this is an excellent monitor.

These are expensive, but a necessity...neither ink seems to last very long, but, I've tried generic brands and they are worse. When I'm ready to replace this printer, I plan to thoroughly research to find one that uses less expensive, longer-lasting ink, if such a thing exists.

I would give it a 4.5/5 if you are planning to use it for photos/movies. But for text, I'll give it a 3 since it is a bit reflective and is not comfortable on the eyes.

If you are thinking about getting the 2509m make sure that you don't pay $300, because for $300 you can get the next generation monitor from HP.I was about to buy the 2509m model from HP, which I really liked.Just before the holidays I saw that HP released this new version of their 25" monitor and the specs looked good.I ordered the 2511x from Amazon and ... it's a beauty !The image is so crisp, and the colors are fantastic.I was concerned about the brightness (specs rated it at 250 vs 300 of the previous model) but this monitor has plenty of brightness.Highly recommended.

I had a perfectly good working 17" Gateway Flatscreen which came with the system, but somehow I couldn't get the screen bright enough to be able to watch movies or play games that are shot in the dark (night or dark scenes)without getting my rear-end shot to shreds!I won't repeat what good things others have already said about this monitor, but with me ... the difference is between night and day. Like I said ... I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW!I also love the fact that the screen is wide enough that I can display two things at once (side by side) and still be able to work comfortably.Some examples of what you can do with displaying things side by side:1) Cut or Copy and paste: You want to copy something from your email, web page ... etc. You can easily flip from one side to the other and accomplish that function.2) There are times when I'm composing something in my word processor and have to reference something in my bank account. By displaying both side by side, I can do it easily without having to rely on my memory to remember the data that I need to include in the document I am composing. Eliminates a lot of errors!3) How about just re-arranging things in your computer: i.e. dragging things from one file folder/drive to another? The drag and drop method works well for this!4) BEST OF ALL !! I can watch a movie on one side of my screen while I work on the other side ... Way Cool!The monitor is near perfect, not too wide that it takes up the whole desk and not too small where I have to squint to see things.One IMPORTANT thing to remember though before purchasing this MONITOR (or any other NEW monitor) if you have an old system. Make sure that the video/graphics card you have in your system is CAPABLE of taking advantage of what this monitor has to offer. An example of this is being able to view the screen in the 1600 x 900 mode or using the digital DVI connector.There's an old saying in the copy industry "Garbage in Garbage out!", Which means that if you are trying to copy illegible material, don't expect the copier to suddenly make it legible. So if you have a crummy graphics card to begin with, don't expect this monitor to greatly enhance your viewing pleasure. And of course visa versa. i.e. if you have a crummy monitor and buy the greatest super duper video card. You'll just be wasting your money!

Well packed by the manufacturer which likely accounts for it working without a hitch. Nice monitor - runs cool - which is nice. Color is great. Wide-screen (16x9 proportions) makes for great movie viewing and room to spread projects over an apparently greater workspace. Now it's on an articulated arm and looks like it's always been a part of the place - life is good ~:0)

The cartridge came quickly but has been opened and it was dry. Warm water bath got it working, but it should never have been sold as "new".

Very impressed!!! Light and thin yet sturdy and well built (unlike some many other flimsy LED monitors this size), AWESOME image quality. I had this out of the box and set up with an HDMI cable in a few minutes. Bought the Fanatic Digital HDMI-to-HDMI Cable Ultra Clarity 6' for $4.75 because this only comes with VGA and DVI cables. Outstanding monitor at a very reasonable price.
