Великолепно

Over the last three months I purchased a total of three of these monitors. They have built-in speakers that eliminate the need to have speakers sitting on your desk. Anyone who still is using a CRT monitor will be extremely happy with this replacement.

This HP monitor is high quality, with an amazing picture as well as a sleek look and HDMI as well as DVI inputs.I was looking everywhere for a glossy monitor and was unable to locate one because for some reason, people still mostly prefer a matte display. Glossy is 100 times better. The picture is brighter and sharper and just plain looks better. Think about it. Before LCD's, every single CRT monitor out there was a glossy screen! I don't know what the big deal is. The reflections that I do get are almost unnoticable and unless your monitor is sitting directly in front of a window, it really is a non-issue.The widescreen is awesome for movie watching and game playing and the blacks are nice and black and the colors appear true and sharp. There is not one single negative about this monitor.The only minor gripe I have is that whenever you turn it on, a status box appears on the screen for about 5 seconds. It is a slight annoyance as I have absolutely no use to know my status every time I turn it on. I have, as of yet found no way to remove it. If anyone knows the solution, please let me know.Also, I have not tested the speakers, but I imagine them to be just mediocre, considering that most integrated monitor speakers are very alike.All in all, I'm extrememly pleased with my purchase and with this size and glossiness value, you can't beat the price.

I was in the market for a monitor to replace my 17in LCD that came with my desktop, and although there was nothing wrong with mine, I wanted to have a bigger screen to be able to have two word documents open side by side for school and work purposes. I also wanted something that was reasonably priced, and also have the flexibility of playing games and watching movies from time to time, and this monitor by far meets all my requirements.The wide screen is perfect for viewing documents without having to change the settings on the resolution in which the letters would be so small to read, and for this price I was not able to pass it up.The build in speakers are adequate, however when I am listening to music or doing anything related to media I enjoy the full sound that my logitech speakers provide, needless to say I was not interested on the sound the speakers provided, only on the image the monitor has.The monitor comes with the software and drives on a CD, but I did not even open the package, I just pluged it in and I let Vista find the latest drivers for it and I had no issues updating the latest drivers and installing them (although it was not necessary).Overall I am happy with the purchase and I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking into upgrading without having to spend too much money. The case of the monitor itself is sleek and looks really good, and if it was not because of the HP logo, I would confuse it with the Samsung brands cause it looks like my plasma TV.

I researched this monitor for 3 months and found no common freq problems so made a purchase. EzPeez setup and of course excellent display, fully adjustable, and of course as it was replacing my old HP 17" CRT WOW factor is 10Xs my expectations. Have had it for couple of months now and WOW!!! You can not go wrong with this monitor, not too big for home use. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to replace their old monitor or add it to your next new desktop package. Many people complain about the speakers, but whoa. Just use add on speakers if U want concert hall sound! The speakeers are adequate for most online videos. Dick tracy would have been the most happy guy if he had one of these.

For most of you this short review will mean little, but I'm adding it for the few people like me. I can see a hazy sparkle (screen-door effect) on almost all LCD monitors, and it's so bad I can't use the monitors. My husband, standing right next to me, doesn't see it at all, and neither do most other people. Anyway, I was just at Fry's and looked at every 19-21" monitor in the place. The ONLY two with no sparkle at all were the HP2159m and the HP2009M. Clean, clear and easy to look at. Thank you, HP!

I purchased the HP 2009M 20-Inch HD LlCD Monitor for a Christmas present. It was a big hit and when he installed it, he said it was great and loved it completely! That, to me was a big success and I would purchase it again if it would get a big hurray again!If I needed one, I would get one for me, too.He said it was just perfect in size and was bright and you didn't have to sqint to see the words on the monitor, like he did with his old one. He said he was always trying to adjust the brightness on the old one and this is just perfect. He was able to sit and read like he was reading a book.Thanks for the monitor!

I was torn between these and a much more expensive ($75 more) Samsung. I'm very glad I got two of these. Totally plug and play, though they come with older single-link dvi cables. I replaced the cables with dual-link DVI cables bought here on Amazon. Switched the monitors on and voila. Colors and depth are outstanding. Excellent clarity. My eyes don't tire at all, even after hours in front of them. The build quality is very good. Even the stand doesn't feel flimsy. The HDMI input is very handy. Wish more manufacturers made it standard. The small speakers aren't going to make home audio speaker manufacturers tremble in fear, but they're fine for videoconferencing and YouTube-grade stuff. Great feature set. Would buy them again.

I've had the monitor for a week now it provides excellent colors. Just got a blu ray DVD player and wow blew me away. The one problem I've noticed with mine is when watching letterbox movies in full screen view (black bars on top and bottom) you can see a small amount of light bleeding through along the top where the top of the screen butts against the black border of the LCD which is a distraction for me and don't know if common with HP or LCD monitors in general. Otherwise the unit seems well built but the stand is very short so I have a phone book under it and the monitor came with the DVI cable which is nice. Customer support is off shore so hopefully HP will consider bringing these jobs home but othewise a very good purchase except for the problem noted above.

My iMac (17") developed some annoying vertical lines, so I needed a new monitor. I had to order an adaptor from Apple, but this monitor was reasonably priced, and I couldn't be happier with the final result. The recommended resolution did not fill the entire screen, so with a little experimenting, I found a resolution that looks great and fills the entire screen. My expectations have been met.

I was disappointed with items when received. Unless I am mistaken, I was lead to believe these ink cartridges were New HP #56 and #57 cartridge combo's by the description and the posted picture. They are "compatible" cartridges by two different companies (not HP), and clearly state "remanufactured". The expiration dates were not visible. They seem to print OK but won't know how long they last till later. I feel the seller is aware it was a deceptive sale, and thus gave seller a two star rating. I'm willing to apologize if wrong.

I purchased this monitor almost a month ago and is working perfectly,it gives bright,crisp images although some glare as well(depending on where you place it)the in-built speakers are nothing to be impressed about but get the job done,for the price I think is more than worth it.

I needed a new monitor for photo-editing (high level hobbyist) and my old Sony Trinitron CRT was finally giving out. So far I am very happy with my first LCD monitor. I chose this one after much research and weighing tradeoffs and prices. It's strength is excellent sharpness. Contrast is good. Like most LCDs, it lacks the ability to distinguish the darkest shades (0/255) to (5/255). Out of the box, whites and grays showed a very slight greenish tint. But that was quickly resolved with the initial setup adjustments. Overall, the image quality is considerably better than what I was getting from the Trinitron CRT. It arrived with far more cables than I will ever need. And no dead pixels!!

The picture quality of this monitor is amazing and for only [...] bucks? Ive done everything from basic computer stuff, to HD tv shows and movies, to editing and doing other things. The monitor is amazing.It comes with a disc to install it, but it installed itself. I got it with my HP tower and didnt have to do a single thing to the monitor at all, just works.Downsides? The built in speakers are somewhat quiet and not really good with detail. Basic 10 dollar Logitech speakers do a better job. Its not terrible sound, if thats all you have its perfectly fine, just dont expect it to sound like a TV. Thats pretty much the only downside i can think of without nitpicking things...

Worked great right out of the box. I am not a techie so that was important. Picture looks great and even. Colors are true. Ordered one in February was so pleased I gave one to my daughter for her birthday in march. Affordable price for a quality product.

Has a noticeable whine below 95% brightness, HP tech support in India is horrible. Does not have a DVI port, so if you want a digital signal to this monitor make sure you have HDMI on your computer. I bought this monitor with an HP P6330F which does not have HDMI, salesperson said it did. I'm returning it.

I needed a color cartridge since I had somehow messed up the old one. Seeing as how I could save money by purchasing a 2-pack of color and black, of which I would need the latter eventually anyway, I picked up this product. It came sealed well and had the protective tape over the gold strip that contacts the leads of the printer. So far the color has been working just fine. I expect the same of the black. I'd purchase this product again.

The Monitor is easy to install, Great display, and nice appearance even when not running! I am totally pleased. The price of the monitor changes almost daily so put it in your shopping cart and jump on it when you see the low end of price range. Range: 132 - 146 dollars.

My monitor was DOA, so there's not much to review. I returned it for a nice ASUS model, which I'm very happy with. Overall, I'd skip this and maybe upgrade just a little to something nicer.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect and very concerned about hooking the monitor up with my Mac, a G4 Powerbook. A friend convinced me to make the purchase because I sometimes complain about the size of the screen on my laptop, particularly after I use a large monitor elsewhere. I'm not particularly adept with setting up new hardware, so I was pretty hesitant, but this monitor couldn't have been easier to hook-up. I plugged it in, and once I figured out how to move the windows around, etc., everything worked fine. Getting it to work was as intuitive as the Mac. I'm pleased with the display and the price was good too.

I'd love to go over all the technical specs for this amazing monitor, but there are already well written reviews that contain that information. I came from a 720p 19 inch HD monitor by Gateway, this is worlds better. Colors jump off the screen and DVD movies have never looked better on my PC. I highly recommend this over any others.

After debating whether to spend on a mac display for my new mini, I decided to gamble on a non-apple display, and I am very pleased.It connected and was recognized by the new mini, and the images are great.For the money (500 less than apple), I would recommend the HP.

I had searched a lot of other same-sized monitors and this was the best in its class rating and price range. The auto set-up is great and my computer had no problem recognizing either Digital or Analog connections and the same with the monitor. Yes, it came with both connection cables! The speakers are typical of built-ins but, I don't really use them as I have a full surround system.I do a lot of graphic design and, for the money, the color temperature of this monitor rivals some well-known others for my needs. I would highly recommend this HP product.The Amazon price was equal to some sale prices which are just now coming out of the "office-type" stores but, I already have mine and it works great!

I had to throw these ink cartridges away, the quality of the print was terrible, I was printing my resume and it was not legible. I thought it was my printer but I decided to go to Office Depot and buy HP ink cartridges and try those before I bought a new printer. I am so glad I did because once I put the HP ink cartridge in everything was fine. I would not waste my money on these ink cartridges again, they are half the price but do not work.

I had a 24 inch Acer monitor and didn't like it much, so I bought this HP monitor.The clarity and colour is amazing, everything seems well built.The only problems are (1) the screen refreshes only 60 times a second, while many monitors can refresh 75 times a second. A higher refresh rate causes less eye strain. (2) The built-speakers are a little quiet. Sound quality is ok, but not good enough for classical music.

The monitor is great! I like a lot mostly because I'm a fps gamer yet I dislike using a widescreen monitor - either stretch out the graphic or manually shrink the display to be "square-like". This monitor is definitely one of the very few non-widescreen monitor that you can have nowadays - I've been looking for awhile, this is one of the few regular LCD monitor that is beyond 17" with low price. I love it. The color is fine and that's all I need for gaming, if not a CRT.

I purchased this monitor from an Amazon vendor. It arrived very quickly, however I was not able to get it functioning. It kept telling me "monitor is going to sleep." It would not stay "awake" long enough to try to get it working properly. After a couple hours of frustration I called HP support. When I explained what it was doing they sent me a new monitor at no charge. The new monitor works perfectly, was very easy to install and begin using. I believe this is a good product, however the first one was a pure lemon.

Yes, It's true. For 200$ you can to accede any High Definition Content. Because this LCD MONITOR from HP is perfect to view movies, videos and play games in 1920 x 1080p maximum resolution. And better is you have 3 inputs system: DVI, VGA an HDMI.So, you can to exchange from Older PC that have VGA output to Ultimate PC with DVI. Even you can to connect blue ray player or PS3.The only weakness is the audio.It's poor and faulty.For this reason I recoment this product. Even more its price is cheap with regard to buy a LCD Sony Bravia for example that cost more than 1000 usd.

The colors are bright and small text is easy to read, the only problem I have is the screen is VERY reflective. I never had a problem with glare with my older lcd in the same location. With this one I find I have to keep moving it around from time to time to try to cut down on reflections.

The resolution of the monitor could not be easily adjusted from my Macintosh. The HiRes image did not fill the screen and was misshapen. On the plus side, Amazon allowed me to return it at no cost to me.

This netbook is just what I've been wanting, to keep me connected with family and friends when I travel. It is very light and simple to use. The keyboard is large enough so I don't accidently hit the wrong key and the screen is just the right size. Aside from all these great qualities, it is good-looking!

This was by far the cheapest source of hp printer cartridges, and they shipped very quickly. The only downside is the "freshness" dating on the cartridges, which is about one year from when I got them. I'd order again, though.

yes it costs more than the knock-offs; however these always work the best!!! I have not opened this one yet as it is an extra however it is a H.P. so I know from experience it will be fine. The company I purchased it from has fair pricing and fast shipping.

Just purchased this monitor to replace a good but 3 year old Samsung with 3:4 format. I am very impressed with the HP and happy that I selected it. The images are crisp and colors are great. Some HP monitors I have looked at seem to present a "washed out" picture. Not this one. It is bright and intense.I paired this with a new ATI/Visiontek Radeon HD 4670 with 1 GB DDR memory. Not the most expensive card in the world but an excellent fit with this monitor. I don't do a lot of gaming or watch HD movies but I feel that with this monitor and the HD card I am getting an extremely high resolution viewing experience with all apps.Two minor nits: the monitor does not pivot on the horizontal axis although it does pivot a little vertically.Also, could not connect a DVI-HDMI cable and make it work. Had to use straight DVI but I will try this again.Highly recommend.

I purchased this monitor as a X-Mas gift for my daughter's computer to replace her smaller monitor. It arrived on time and was simple plug-n-play set up. works great, looks good and she can see all of those "evil monsters" she kills on her game easier. Oh, she can see her term papers easier too! :) Great price!
