Великолепно
A bit more low end punch than my previous Polk Audio noise canceling headphones although the Polk had better overall imaging I thought. Noise cancellation is far superior on the Bose however. Compact case with a handy spot for an extra battery and the airline adapter. Would buy again.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter, trusting the Bose name and Amazon, as I have never had a problem with either company before. The speakers stopped working after the 30 day Amazon return policy and Bose will not honor the warranty because Amazon is not a licensed Bose dealer. Buyer beware, I guess. Don't buy these from Amazon, in any case, and if so many people are having trouble with them not working after a few months, I suggest not buying them at all if you can't afford to take the risk of getting a lemon. I can't afford to keep plunking down this much money to buy new (not Bose) speakers.What a crappy Christmas gift for a really hard working college daughter. I will tell everyone I can what I think of Bose now and this puts a giant black mark on Amazon's name as well.

After reading the reviews and product specs, I decided to buy these to use at work. I found them to be surprisingly ineffective. I returned them and ended up buying those three dollar foam earplugs and am much more satified.

These headphones are simply amazing. Period. You'll no doubt see a slew of reviews by cranky audio perfectionists who complain about the audio quality, and they're either blessed with superhuman hearing or silly enough to shell out money for 0.0000001 percent better sound. The sound quality is awesome, but it's what you don't hear that really puts these headphones in another league. I was perfectly happy with the QuietComfort 3s, but I can honestly say these are noticeably better. The noise cancellation is beyond outstanding, The over-the-ear fit is quite comfy. Some may complain about the use of AAA batteries, but you can find them anywhere. No need to worry about carrying around a charger and finding a power outlet when you're out of juice. Yep, the price is steep, but these headphones are worth every penny.

The sound quality and noise-cancelling feature is unmatched by any competing brand in my opinion. They come with a nice carrying case for travel, and fold up easily to fit in. They are simple to use and they even come with a AAA battery for the noise-cancelling feature. Don't forget to turn it off once you're done with them! My only complaint about these is in regards to the Volume Adjustment buttons. They are only compatible on Apple devices. If you're using these on a PC or Android device, the sound quality and noise cancelling feature will be fine, but you won't be able to adjust the volume using the headphones. It is annoying that Bose would be that short-sighted, but it is what it is. If the adjustment buttons worked on all devices, I would give this 5 stars. Overall, I would recommend these headphones regardless of the device you're using.

One side of these headphones failed after less than 6 weeks. At $300 (okay - $299) I
would hope for a better product. This has certainly hurt Bose's reputation in my household;
we won't be buying their product again.
Update. We called Bose and after diagnostic tests they had us return the headset and are sending a replacement.
They were very nice about it; I may be buying Bose again in the future after all. :-)

Best headphones ever for the gym & running! They are so lightweight it's unreal. Sweat on them-wipe the ear cushions off, whatever. They block out the chatty person next to you on the elliptical or treadmill. I wear them for mowing and lawn work and for travel. I have other headphones but nothing really compares to these. The hard case with them is great. People can hear you just great on the microphone cable- for phone use. They can't tell you are not on the phone and you hear them clearly. The sound-music is so clear it takes you into another world.

There is no comparison with other models. These earphones are the best for me. Its absolutely terrible to have to fly under todays noisy cramped stinking conditions so any attempt to improve my comfort is worth it. Bose helps me a lot.

Have used them on three flights and doing vacuuming and mowing at home. They do a great job of getting rid of, or at least greatly lessening the noises you don't want to hear.

These headphones cost over $300.00 and the pads keep FALLING OFF the earphones. This is the first product I have purchase from Bose that is defective. I cannot not find my options for rectifying this situation. They were purchased in April 2015. 300.00 dollar earphones that do not last two months is worthy of less than one star. I SHALL DISPUTE THIS PURCHASE WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANTY!

I bought these as I have wanted a nice set of headphones. On the plus side they arrive quickly, looked great but didn't fit my head or ears I am large in size and these are made for normal sized people. The girlfriend and my son loved them, however, they were for me.

Really works!
I used these to watch movies on the plane and it was amazing that all the plane noise just disappeared. Yes, you could make the flight without them, but what a wonderful difference on a long international flight [or I imagine even a short commuter hop!]

I have had the Bose QC25 for about month. The noise cancelling feature is top notch. I have not had an opportunity to try them on an airplane but I have used them at work and home. Loud noises become a whisper. They are great for work when you are stuck in the cubicle world and there conversations going on everywhere
Music sounds crisp and clear when using the noise cancellation. The Bose QC25 has good range of sound but do not expect to get too much of the lows. The mids and highs are fantastic. If you like Jazz music then will love listen to Jazz with the QC25. Without the noise cancellation on music is just OK.
My only issue is after wearing them for 30 to 60 minutes my ears get a little sore. I need to take them off for a while. I have tried re-positioning and adjusting then and I did find the sweet spot for the ears but they still get sore.
I do not own the QC15 so I cannot comment on whether QC15 owners should move to the QC25. I did go try the QC15s at an electronic store. The noise cancellation seemed to be on par with the QC25; however, that was only having them on for a couple of minutes. My rating is 4 ½ stars. I am removed ½ star because of the soreness I get.

Bose use to make a high quality QC when the model 15 was available however, the QC25 is reminiscent of a poorly fitting "china knock off"!!
The head band is narrow at the top thus putting pressure in one spot on the top of head. With in 2 minutes it was clear that this headphone can not be worn. It is clear that Bose only wanted to make a compact unit and tossed out the standard and comfort we had become accustomed to.

Lots of reviews here, but I wanted to post one more. The short version is I could not possibly be happier with this purchase. These are expensive - but worth every penny. Probably the best listening experience I can remember in a long time. Just tried them out on a maxed Southwest Airlines flight with a crying baby sitting in the seat directly in front of me. Silenced the whole thing allowing me to enjoy a great movie on my iPad. These are great for all types of music, but also great as a noise cancelling device with the chord disconnected at the headset, which is what I use them for in my noisy office when I need to concentrate. Extremely comfortable. Superb build quality. Really nice case. Works great as a phone headset (iPhone) too - nice in-wire phone controls. Overall, big time thumbs up here!

not good at all... the only thing that works like it's supposed to is the ear part of the headphone... the rest of it stinks...the Bose's QC15 are much better... the only problem is they don't make them anymore

Purchased these after reading numerous reviews. They are AMAZING. They block airplane and open-work space noise flawlessly. The sound is clear and vibrant. I even wore them sleeping (my significant other snores sometimes) and they blocked out the majority of that noise too. Very happy with this purchase.

Great headphones overall, however worth the huge price? I don't think so. These may currently be the best noise cancelling headphones on the market but they are far far away from offering the kind of high end sound quality that you would expect from such a price.
The one star offered on this is also a reflection in the price that we pay for these headphones in the UK in comparison to the USA and Canada. There is simply no justification for such a hike in the price, $299 in the states which works out at £190, compared to £260 here.

These headphones came with a case that has an elastic pocket big enough for an ipod, or phone, but not an ipad. The case is hard enough to protect, but soft enough to fit easily into a backpack or bag. Also included is a cord with an inline microphone for calls, another connection for airplanes that might connect differently, and a battery.
I haven't used them on a plane; however I have used them with a saw, nail gun and other construction equipment less than twenty feet outside my window. I couldn't hear any of them when I had the headphones on and I think they are probably louder than any plane.
I listened to many different kinds of music and I could really tell a difference. The music that really convinced me about the difference was university bands. The drums were clear and it was even possible to tell the different drums. It was also possible to clearly hear the drumsticks keeping rhythm. I also listen to recorded books. They are clear and distinct.
I really like the convenience, the sound, and the comfort of these headphones.
Edit - My kids, who travel more than I do, were here this weekend and they really like the inline switch which controls volume, but which is where you control the noise canceling feature also.

I was very excited to get my first ever noise cancellation headphones. I loved them when I got them, the noise cancellation was really good and the sound quality was good, not the best but good nonetheless. After the honeymoon phase was over is when it happened, after 4 months of use, the left earpiece stopped working and it wasn't like I didn't take care of them, I kept them in the case after every single use. I got the replacement from Bose and I have fingers crossed. TLDR; Good headphones, but the left earpiece had issues after 4 months, cheap build quality.

I travel for work and decided that these would be a good risk for flying. They remove 90% of the sound of the jet engines when I'm flying. We bought two pair to fly to Italy this year and they made the 8 hour flight reasonable. They don't block conversation so I'd suggest an in-ear noise canceling headphone if that's your goal. If you're trying to eliminate machine noise there is no better headphones that I've tried.

I'm no audiophile, but I love these headphones. The noise cancelling is excellent and the sound is terrific. I've been re-discovering my music collection ever since I got the Bose QC25's. I also got a FiiO E10K USB DAC and Headphone Amplifier (Black). These two products are a match made in heaven. Many desktop/laptop computers use a low-end DAC and headphone amplifier to save manufacturing costs. The E10K allows you to get a much better sound when using your QC25's with a laptop/desktop.

I got these headphones and just had to return them. After a few minutes of use, I suffered from ear pain, which seemed to continue (on and off) for a few hours even after ceasing use—even if I wore them without playing any music at all (i.e. just for the noise-canceling functionality). The same thing seemed to occur even when waiting several days between uses. Not a big fan. The other strange thing about these headphones is that without turning noise-canceling on, they seem to attenuate background noise rather than diminish it. I have never owned a pair of headphones like that before (the P5s, for example, from Bowers and Wilkins definitely diminish noise when you put them on, even though they do not feature any kind of active noise canceling). In my view, this served to artificially give the sense that the noise-canceling was more effective than it seemed. It is not that they are not good at reducing constant background noise — they are — but (a) I don't think they live up to their hype (b) they are certainly, and absolutely, not worth $300 dollars and (c) were clearly not meant for my ears given the pain I experienced when wearing them.

These were my birthday gift around the holidays. I fly trans-atlantic once a month and these headphones made my flights much more enjoyable. And then the right can failed after 5 months. I checked the cord and connections, swapped the battery, changed music source with no luck. The can does is no longer noise-cancelling or emitting sound. Unless I can get a replacement pair for free I will not buy Bose again.

I bought these from another store, but I think this might be helpful for anyone looking for noise cancelling headphones. I was looking for some thing that would let me do yard work while listening to music. I wasn't so much concerned with audiophile quality so much as drowning out most of the yard equipment noise, which can be quite loud. I tested them out by pulling my Billy Goat yard vac out of the garage and cranking it up. This thing is loud. After I got it running I put the headphones on and with the noise cancelling off I heard a the music pretty well but with an (expected) drone in the background from the vac engine. I turned the noise cancelling on and was very pleased with the music quality I was hearing, and the amount of engine noise that was eliminated. I think I am going to be quite happy with these although rain today is preventing an extended test.

Have had these for half a year. Cable got torn when i turned around in the seat during a long haul. Guess it was my own fault but still i somehow expected more robustness from the product. And now after 6 months the right side stopped working out of the blue. Meaning no sound at all. It is my first bose product and i honestly dont understand the fuzz about bose being a quality company. To be fair i did enjoy the headphones when they worked - they are comfortable to wear. The noice cancellation is also ok. But that doesn't really matter if they cannot build a pair of headphones that can outlast a pair of my boxershorts.

DO NOT BUY BOSE! They do not repair their headphones. QC15 stopped powering up in less than 15 month and there is a small wire in the battery compartment that can be seen, its loose. Called BOSE in Tucson, they offered a new pair for $150 or upgrade to newer version for almost $200
This is a rip off. Told them the fault was well known, (its all over the web) and they said well its electronics, they break. We don't repair. BOSE may have great noise reduction but if a pair fail in less than 18 months, then not worth the money.

Just moving to Los Angeles for graduate school I needed a quiet environment at all times to study. Los Angeles has constant noise from neighbors playing acoustic guitars to sirens and horns from street traffic . I figured I would splurge and get these headphones to allow myself to study and take naps. After trying them all out in the store the newest model allowed almost zero noise to get through. They completely cancel all acoustic noise and the only thing you can hear is some spoken words and a little whirling street traffic depending on the music level. I know they're pricey but aren't all good things in life?! They come with a 30 day guarantee so if they don't suit your needs you can always take them back. But I am in love with them! I highly suggest them :)

they are not "noise-canceling" as i anticipated and didn't quite understand why one would want to turn that feature on and off. i realized immediately, though, that they are much better than the earbuds i wore prior to receiving these.
i now love that i can turn the noise cancellation on and off as i please - sometimes when i'm studying too long with that feature on i start to feel like i'm in an airplane or in some other pressurized, confined space. when it's crowded and noisy turning on the noise cancellation really makes a big difference! i can still hear people, but their voices are muffled in the background in such a way that it is far and away much easier to focus.
i actually like the bulk of them because it's a much clearer indication to folks that i'd rather not be bothered (than wearing my earbuds) and the way they fold into the carrying case is nifty. walking around the med school campus, it seems most of us have invested in these headphones. so thankful that my husband purchased these for me - i think they are great!

I bought mine for Bose.com and customized them. To put it simply they are the best headphones I own and I have the 20i I would suggest buying for Bose.com to customize them or from BestBuy and get the Geek Squad protection plan it is a much better policy.

The noise canceling works great, but it chews up batteries pretty quickly, which is annoying.
The reason for the 3 stars is that I'm just not crazy about the sound. It's not bad at all, just not great. Something is missing and I wish I could explain exactly what. I feel detached from the music.
Update: these do get considerably better with good amplication (despite having a built-in amp). One of the problems is that the Mac and iPhone - as well as every other PC and phone - don't have great analog output. Using optical/HDMI/USB digital output to a good amp will make these sound better, and you'll still want to keep the switch on. I'm leaving the rating at 3 stars though because I've found significantly better sound with the AKG 712 Pro. The search for better sound never ends.

They work as advertised, but I guess I expected that they would screen out more sound than just background hums. You will still hear most of what goes on around you, with a nice hush over the background din. Give it three out of five stars.

Exactly what I needed. I travel a lot for work and I pop these on and I don't hear most noise on airplanes. I can still hear flight attendants talking right to me, but no more crying babies and engine drone. Love them! The only thing I don't like is that they are a little tighter that I would prefer, especially on the ears.

I had a set of QC 15's and enjoyed them a lot. Once I upgraded to the QC 25's I was so blown away that I had to buy a set for my wife. A lot of the changes are subtle going from the QC 15 to the QC 25. Everything seems to be better from the design, noise reduction and the sound quality. I bought these for long flights but they have now become my around the house headphones. I have tried other noise canceling headphones but no others compare to the Bose.

These are my first noise cancelling headphones. I have moderate hearing loss and am very sensitive to airplane noise. I used them on a recent overseas flight and were great. Very comfortable and music through them was awesome!

Had been borrowing a friend's QuietComfort 15. The 25 is better!! Great for the airplane - worth the price!
