Великолепно

The noise cancelling is amazing! It's made my work environment more productive. I also use it for my daily commute and it helps drown out the background noises. They are very light weight and don't hurt or feel too tight and I wear them for 8+ hours. I like that they still work even if the noise cancelling battery dies. The sound is not as good but it still is better than nothing. I ordered some rechargeable AAA batteries since I use them daily.

The only complaint would be that for such an expensive product the materials seem a little cheap. The ear pads squeak when you turn them and the top headband isn't leather it's like a "suede-like" so it's not even suede.

I went into this purchase really not wanting to spend a car payment on headphones... but being an audiophile, I caved in. These bad larrys are awesome. The sound quality is incredible for anything from Katy Perry (yeah, I said it) to The Rolling Stones. Battery life is great. I went through a week of wearing them at work, successfully blocking out any haters (hooray noise cancellation!). Not to mention the fact that I was quite comfortable wearing headphones for 8 hours straight every day. The ear cushions are made out of the same leather applications they use in those supercars. Those are all pretty strong "pros" for buying the QC25s. For what it's worth, the only con I can think of is that you get that "headband" indent in your hair. It's just kind of inconvenient, but clearly outweighed by the other awesome qualities.

TL;DR they're expensive but totally worth it.

I love these headphones! They provide great noise cancellation, have over-the-ear comfort padding, and provide a really nice sound. I've been using them every day for the past 6 months and they are still going strong.

I only have reason for giving these 4 stars instead of 5: my head is slightly too small for these headphones. I have a Large hat size, and I feel these would be much more comfortable for those of XL (or a slightly taller head). When fitting comfortably over my ears, the band isn't touching the top of my head, which makes them move around a bit and get out of their comfort zone. This isn't a huge deal, but I wish the band was just a bit smaller so the fit would be more snug.

IF YOU HAVE BOSE HEADPHONES
===========================
If you have Bose headphones you'll know that although they're not cheap they are one of the best headphones around. These are the latest (Sept 2014) to be added to the Bose line-up. I've tried these at home, office, train and most recently on a plane.

SOUND QUALITY
=============
Out of the box they were fantastic. Deep resilient bass, and the overall sound full of texture. After about 80 hours of using them the sound appeared better.
They truly are the best sounding headphones I've been lucky to use.

COMFORT
=======
I have larger than average ears. So I had thought that these may be uncomfortable after a few hours of using. However, they're really comfortablle to wear. And they keep on feeling comfortable after a while. They are so light that you can forget that you're wearing them. I'd had a go of Beats headphones which were really good. The bose headphones feel even better.
If you have exceptionally small ears (the sign of being odd) then these may not be for you. But for those normal types with normal ears, and larger cool ears, they are perfect.

NOISE CANCELLING
================
Even a little chattering on the bus was easily blocked out. They seem to hear the external noise and adjust to fit. They were remarkably good on the plane. I managed to sleep with their help. I tried them in much quieter environment and they were simply lovely.
In everyday situations they create a quietness that's unbeatable. I'm not sure if Bose invented the noise cancelling thing, but they are now the best 'noise cancelling' headphones about. And I've tried a few!

PORTABILITY
===========
They are very light and come with a little compact case.

ONGOING REVIEW
==============
I've not had them that long so I'll update the review if they deteriorate. If you have any queries I'll do my best to answer in the comments below.

OVERALL
=======
Smart, well made, light and superb sound. If you want one of the best headphones these are strong contenders.

These by far were my best headphones until today afternoon, suddenly one speaker stopped working. Now I love my headphones and no damage has happened to them since purchase. I have failed to reach Bose and I kind of disappointed with them after realising that this issues was most probably a factory defect which affected headphones bought before mid 2015 or something like that, I bought mine from Amazon.com LLC in February.

They are really amazing when they work. I need Bose to fix this...!

I LOVE THESE HEADPHONES! I commute weekly to a different state (by flight) and am disappointed in myself for not buying these earlier. They are the best headphones for flying, effectively canceling noise from the plane and significantly dulling the noise of those pesky overhead announcements and other passenger chatter.

The real benefit though is the clear conference calls. I can be in a noisy airport or other public place and with these headphones I can participate in calls (I can hear them, they can hear me). I'm told my voice is clearer when I use this head set over my cell phone alone.

I know these are extremely expensive, but they are worth it. I would buy these again for a frequent flyer in a heard beat.

I have been using the qc25 for about a month now. Put in a lot of thought before deciding to buy an expensive piece as such. THis is my first BOSE equipment and am very impressed by its performance. I had a Sony bluetooth noise cancelling headphone before that and was happy with its portability and bluetooth but reading all the qc25 reviews I thought I should give it a try.
1. Noise cancelling : Astonishing. You will know what silence means when you turn the ANC on.
2. Sound performance: Decent. Not the best for listening to music but if you are listening to quieter type like meditation or study music it's very good.
3. Battery: I love the fact that the battery is removable. AAA usually lasts few weeks with a few daily hours
4. Comfort: This headphones feels so undetected and light. You won't feel the pressure on your ears and that heat that develops in your ear with other over ear headphones.
5. Build: The earpiece is made of very soft plush material and exudes quality.
6. Convenience: Easy to carry with the new foldable design.

I bought it for a deal for $179! got lucky I guess...

I've used noise cancelling headphones for a number of years now as I live in a flat. As soon as you put these headphones on you get good sound reduction without switching them on. I find that the sound has a bit too much bass when they're not turned on but it's not really an issue and when I switch them on the sound is great!.

Let me give a few examples of the noise cancelling. If I'm in the kitchen and I put the microwave and kettle on and switch on the headphones at low volume I can't hear them; I can't hear the microwave humming or the kettle warming up. If I'm watching a film, switch them on and turn the volume up to a good film watching level, I can clap my hands right in front of me and the sound is almost cancelled out. When someone was decorating the other day I put them on and listened to music and it was great! It was worth it for that alone.

What they're good at is cancelling a continuous tone like your kettle and microwave - that noise completely disappears. However,if you turn the volume up a bit then you're also going to reduce a wider range of noises. If you needed to go a step further then you could wear ear plugs and turn the volume up on the headphones and you shouldn't hear much at all. Hey, I live in a flat, I know all the tricks :)

Pros: High quality noise cancellation with very little background sounds bleeding in. The fans of my computer, my house's heater, and my air conditioning are all silenced out really well. Nice foldable design for portability.

Cons: Requires a AAA battery rather than having a rechargeable one. Not much of a con, really, I should just get some rechargeable AAA batteries.

Other Thoughts: No regrets, been wanting noise cancellation for a few years since I tried one in a store. I use them as my main gaming headphones for really great immersion.

Thoroughly impressed my very non-technical wife who thinks I'm way too picky about details. She can never tell the difference when I tell her something is better than something else (like digital cameras, printers, TVs, blue ray etc) - even she was amazed with the difference between these and ... anything else. For me - listening to details in music was awesome due to the noise cancelling - super super quiet with these. Sort of like looking for blacker blacks on LED TVs. I also have the bose quiet comfort 20i buds and I like them but these are better. Both are really comfortable.

I have a pair of the QC 15 noise reduction headphones. I have owned them for many years, and they provide perfect noise reduction, both on airplanes, trains, and at home. Since my QC 15'S work just fine, I don't see any reason to "upgrade" and spend plenty of cash for the same headphones, maybe with a more robust power cord. These things are not cheap, and until my QC 15 headphones fail to work, I will be loathe to purchase these QC 25 headphones for no reason whatsoever. Do what you want with your money, but these QC 25's are NO better than the QC 15. It just pads the profits of Bose and the retail establishments that carry this item.

Highlights of my Video Review:

1. Beautiful and well made
2. Comes with a great carrying case that is just the right size to fit everything in a nice trim package
3. Comes with airplane jack adapter
4. Cable has controls for volume and to answer calls. With this model (Samsung and Android Devices) - if you use this with an iPhone 5S then the volume controls don't work and the middle button activates Siri.
5. Great adjustments for perfect fit for a wide range of sizes - extremely comfortable
6. Noise Cancelling feature runs off of 1-AAA battery that is included. The battery compartment lid is a little on the flimsy side and I worry about it breaking - a little care is needed.
7. Sound quality is great after the break-in, Noise Cancelling works very well too.

Note: I think the unit I have is defective because when the noise cancelling feature is on, if I touch the headset (like if I'm adjusting it while wearing it), the music cuts out. I don't see anyone complaining about this, so it's probably just mine. It doesn't happen when the Noise Cancelling feature is not on. Not a huge issue but because of this and the flimsy battery case lid, I couldn't give it 5 stars. Love this product otherwise!

My QuietComfort 2s finally broke after over 13 years. They still work, I just snapped the connector between the ear cup and the headband when I sat on them. I could probably have them repaired, but this was the perfect excuse to upgrade. Happy with my purchase. I will say they feel a bit more snug to my head than the QC 2s, and I love the fact that I can listen to music without sound cancellation should I choose. My first flight with these will be in a couple of weeks, and I'm looking forward to putting these to good use.

I have a few very important things to review about this headphone. 1st this headphone does an amazing job at noise cancelling ( especially low constant frequencies) however, the higher frequencies still come through, but slightly muffled. If you have NC on and someone is talking to you, you will here the top upper half of their vocal tone (although muted somewhat) but the lower frequencies of there speech will be gone. If you're trying to block out loud speaking and its a dude, you're going to kill most of the sound, however, children screaming or annoying high-pitched women still come through.

the sound is a little sloppy, the base is too loose, the treble is a little to shrill and a HUGE HUGE annoyance is that the speakers tend to distort and crackle at louder parts of your music. this is really bad right out of the box. However, after about a hundred hours of music at reasonable volume, these headphones clean up nicely, the base gets a little tighter, the shrill treble cuts down and the crackling is greatly reduced to a much more tolerable amount. overall, the best sound one can expect is about a B to B+.

i got these for studying (I am a collage student) and for my daily bus rides to and from school. for studying alone i would have payed 200 dollar because these headphones are sooooooooooooooo comfortable and the NC is priceless. however, i can not use these on the BUS at all. the bus bouncing causes vibrations that transfer through the seat, up your body and into your headphones. this causes repeated air compressions that make your music very inconsistent and very irritating to listen to so if your getting these for your bus ride (the bumps are the only problem) then don't. but for plain rides i wouldn't get anything else.

I sit in the most dismal location at work. *START RANT* At all four corners of my cubicle farm pen, there is always someone talking. Right behind me, I have an IT guy making constant phone calls to our call center site, telling some poor joe to get the cheapest Dell promos and trying to finalize some sort of contract. To my right, a big shot manager negotiates left to right with folks who can't seem to get their act together on the other side of the world. To my left, a hippy dippy recruiter asks typical interview questions over the phone to dozens and dozens of hopeless candidates each week. Of course, they don't respond well to the STAR interview questions, so after she hangs up, she vents her frustration by yelling "AGHH!". Now, to the front of me, I have a pair of co-workers who talk like valley girls. Like, y'know Omg! Their conversations are as shallow as a kiddy pool. *END RANT*

One faithful morning, I visited my local Target to buy a pair of these headphones, recommended to me by half a dozen of my co-workers. I used my Target gift cards to pay down the cost of tax and with my purchase, I went straight to work.

What I have found so far is that it does a good job of canceling out male voices since they are deep in tone. Sounds that I never noticed before such as the whir of the AC are also drowned out. Noise cancellation is at its best when music is playing. However, even with music I can still hear, but not as loud, exactly what my female co-workers are saying. Their high pitch voices are impossible to drown out completely. I could continue to up the volume, but there's only so much my ears can withstand without hurting. Also, if I do up the volume, people can hear what I'm listening to. Not cool.

My overall verdict is that these headphones will almost do the trick for now, but I'm still going to be in the lookout for a better solution.

I am hypersensitive to noise and work in a large open plan office with lots of very loud people and it's hell. I need silence to concentrate. I got these recently and they are incredible. Without anything playing but with active noise cancelling on it reduces voices a lot (I can only just hear very loud people that are very near) and cuts out completely most chat and other people's music. With low volume white noise it almost completely cuts out all other sound. (NB: I have high frequency hearing loss so can't judge whether it blocks out those noises.)

Very disappointing product. This was the first Bose product I've owned and likely the last. They were replaced at about 10 months old for the right side cutting out. Seemed like the switch was the issue. Now about another 10 months later and the right side is cutting out again . I use headphones a lot and over the years was fortunate to have never had failures before, much less twice on the same product. You can do better.

If you want to hear anything you are watching on a plane, you will need some noise cancelling headphones. These make planes audibly enjoyable, which is pretty hard to do, I imagine. I make enough money, that I thought these would be a good investment even if they seem overpriced. So far, I have not been disappointed. You can still hear people talking, if you don't have any audio pumping though them, so they don't kill everything, but as soon as audio is running though them, it all fades away.

The price you are having to pay really is justified by the quality you receive. I think Bose has made a name for themselves because of the time they take to make sure each item is in pristine condition before going to the consumer. We have tried several name brands of headphones and Bose is still up on our list. After receiving this item I can still say we have not been let down by Bose.

These are by far the best over-ear headphones I've found. My problem with other "over-ear" headphones is that they don't actually fit OVER my ears, but instead smash the tops of my ears into the side of my head. After about an hour, that hurts enough that I can't wear headphones anymore. However, these Bose headphones have a perfectly sized opening so your ear actually fits INSIDE. This helps seal out noise even better. I can wear these for 6 hours straight on plane rides with no problems. The noise cancelling works great, but make sure you carry an extra battery. (there is a spare battery slot in the case) They work perfectly with the iPhone via the integrated cord features. Noise cancelling is downright amazing and well worth the extra $$ if you plan to use them on planes.

The headphone is great, awesome Bose quality sound, bass and best of the best noise cancellation performance specials during airplane flights - blocks almost every noise completely.
My only complain is the build quality of the headphone jack is crappy, mine broke into 2 pieces within 3 weeks and half of the metal part got stuck inside the 2 pin adaptor used for the aircraft (see picture) - this happened when I tried to get up from my seat while the headphone was connected to airplane seat and I ended up pulling the cable slightly off in wrong direction - I did not expect that metal part to come of and break that easily for a headphone with a $300 price tag and from the brand Bose :(

These headphones changed my life!!! I work in a very noisy office space so I needed something to muffle the noise. I just these on, switch on the noise cancellation feature, and listen to music. All great for taking calls!
When I'm not at work I use them at home, connected to my phone and wear them for hours, listening to podcasts, or music while I cook or clean the house. SO comfortable unlike a lot or other name brands.

Fantastic quality sound! Exactly what you would expect from Bose. I waited for these headphones to go on sale. They were priced everywhere for $299. They finally went on sale and I was able to purchase them for $269 as a gift for my son. He not only loves music but he is a film student and these are fabulous for when he is editing. He has had Beats for the past five years and the Bose sound blows them out of the water. The noise cancelling is essential for his film editing. It is not essential when someone is trying to call him to get his attention! They truly are noise cancelling.

Wish these were wireless. Thought they were but no. Weight perfect. Noise canceling perfect. Sound quality pretty good. Problem wired. I bought these because I got Beats Studio 2.0 as a gift and thought the Bose were better. Wrong! The Bose is way better in noise canceling no question about that, but if you are playing something not so much. Sound quality is better with the Bose if you are comparing wired vs wired connections. But if you compare the Bose wired connection to the Beats wireless connection there is no clear winner. Beats are optimized for wireless. It is the controls and wireless that makes you buy Beats. No cord , volume up, down, mute, fast forward, back, All on the ear phone easy to find and reach. On the Bose on a small cord up down and mute good luck finding it. I really wanted to find the Bose superior because I thought I wanted noise canceling most but after hours of listening I found the Beats the better value. If you are looking for quite only buy the Bose. No question they reduce background noise better. But I bought the Beats.
