Very nice camera.I would Recomend this. Love the picture. Good for SKYPING.Came in little late but wait was worth.

I had been using one of those eyeball cams and just was very unhappy with the picture quality. From the very first moment I plugged the LifeCam into my computer, I have been extremely happy with its performance! Great cam for a very reasonable cost!

I've had this product for 3 days now I don't usually leave reviews but this product works so well I had to recommend it to anyone looking for a web cam it takes great pictures I use it on skype I love it ...it very easy to set up not confusing to use at all ..this product exceeded my expectations...

I needed a webcam but didn't just want any kind of webcam. The Microsoft HD Webcam 5000 delivers everything you looking for and more. The quality (720p) and recording capabilitys are great. The only down side with this product is that the integrated microphone is not configurable.

We put a new phone system in tied to our outlook service and this camera allows us to do automatic video link with our phone calls. Inexpensive upgrade with good value

It does everything it was advertised to do. I have no complaints with this web cam. I would recommend it to anyone whoneeds a quality web cam.

This is a great camera. Its very sharp and clear. Works great on a Windows PC but not so great on a Mac. When used on a mac is does not expose the image correctly and makes it look way too bright. A solution would be to install Windows on a Mac but that kind of defeats the purpose of buying a webcam for your Mac. Again great if used on a PC, you might not be happy with the results on Mac.

has built in mike, just plug in usb port and it installs itself in 5 minor less. software is built in no need to install it does it automatically.for the price it is quite a bargain.

This is a great web cam for its price and features.It is easy to install and easy to attach due to the flexible mounting. It did not come with an installation CD/DVD but after a quick google search I was able to get to the download page for it. The cam is great for skype and similar applications. If you are looking for an HD cam this is not it.I will recommend it.

High definition and pleasant appearance, glossy enclosure matches my Samsung monitor, looks like an extention. It was easy to install and the Amazon price could not be beat.

Great price, works great...sound and video. For the price, you simply can't do better. It does not include the software drivers, but they can be easily downloaded and installed from Microsoft's website. Just Google this model and drivers. I paid around $13 plus shipping

I have two of these hooke to an old PC and use them to monitor my home from work or when I'm away. They even work pretty well at nighttime. Definitely a great value.

USB cable is too short, two feet. It is not long enough for the desktop tower under the desk. Cable length is not mentioned in the product description. Why would Microsoft make webcams for laptops when they already have built in webcams? This product should be made to accommodate desktops too.

I was worried that this would be a poor quality webcam since it's so cheap. I was wrong. The picture is really clear and crisp. My Mom commented several times on how much clearer this camera is on her screen compared to her own, much more expensive, webcam. It doesn't have a light on it, but even though my livingroom is dimly lit it still has a clear, bright picture on the screen. I would recommend this to anyone.

We bought this to let our son talk to his grandparents more often and it works very well. It's very flexible, stays put where we place it and has a bunch of cool effects it can do too. Very good camera and a very good price!
