The device blinks when Blu Ray (Panasonic BDT-110) is activated. It uses the same Viera Cast system for Skype as Panasonic TVs, but when activation is ready, it turns off and the message says that no camera is connected. It doesn't recognize it.

I was looking for an inexpensive, small webcam and found this one on Amazon. This camera is easy to install, easy to use and the picture is pretty decent. I understand the picture quality could be a little better if I spent a little more money, but with a limited budget the camera does the job. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this webcam for anyone who is budget-minded.

The only thing about this camera not to like is the price, but even there you are getting quite a bit for your $150.I have a 2011 model Panasonic Viera, and the camera is a fantastic companion for the TV - easily comparable to the "professional" video conferencing we had at work a bare two years ago, for a lot less money. On top of that, it turns out that this camera works with at least one of last year's Vieras (the P50G20), which is not officially supported but I gave my camera to my sis-in-law and it works on her TV.

I had suspicions the quality would be poor and grainy, but I was very pleased once I got it plugged in and running.The quality is very good, and it has all kinds of neat features. You can set it to detect and record motion with or without the green light on for up to fifteen minutes. It has a follow face option which will track your motion to ensure the other person sees you even if you get up and move around, which can be set on and off. Right light ensures great quality even in darker rooms. My only complaint is that the adjustable tabs to keep it atop the screen are a little goofy. I struggle to keep it on top of my laptop screen sometimes, but that issue seems to common with all web cams.I suggest it to anyone looking for a great web cam at a good price.

I bought the Logitech Webcam C250 to chat with a friend of mine on Scype. This camera is AWESOME!!! It was one of the most economical cameras I could find and was pleasently surprised at the picture quality, great sound, easy focus and best part of all... the easiest install ever!!! I just connected it to my computer and I was seeing my friend and he was seeing me as well!!! I highly recommend this for anyone just wanting an afforadable, low maintenance way of keeping in-touch with the people you care about!!! 5-stars All The Way!!!

I purchased the item, and was supposed to get it about 10 days ago, but never get it.My husband and I have called UPS at 3 times, got different case numbers, but never hear back from UPS.What's your suggestion?

Good cam for the laptop, but is not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. I was able to get it to work. Go to Logitech website and download the plug and play search. It will find a web cam, but not this one. Go ahead and install the driver and ignore when it says incompatible driver. After install open the camera program and it will work. Amazon did not mention this web cam has issues with Windows 7.

Considering that Panasonic VT20 and VT30 have very similar firmware, is there any reason why the Logitech Skype webcam should not work also with VT20 ? (Logitech website has released it just for VT30 at the moment).

The quality from this camera comes out amazing. I haven't bought a webcam in years since I have had little to no use for one. The last time I bought a webcam was when it recorded in what today's cell phones record in (which is 320x240 at 15 fps). I now carry this webcam with me when I take my laptop with me. I keep a vlog (it goes on youtube too...channel is Mathewvlog) and this camera does a really good job of helping me.

I bought 2 of these Logitech Webcams a few weeks ago and very happy with them.The instructions were easy to follow and about 15 or so minutes later I was testing it on Skype and the both the picture and microphone worked perfectly. The operating system I have is XP SP3.I bought the other one for a friend of mine and set it up for her also without a problem and she uses it at least 2 times a week to talk to a friend who is in Australia for a few months. I did not need tech support so I cannot say anything on that subject. If you dont want to spend a bunch of money on a higher end model I would buy this one.

I havent used it for video chat yet. But i can see myself on mylaptop PERFECTLY. I am very pleased with this product especially at this price. The microphone is very loud you will need to turn it down. PIC is crystal Clear. I've even seen myself using skype. the only annoying part is yes it does clip on to my lap top but not as tightly as i would have liked. however it does not fall off. But if u move your laptop around at all it may tilt some. It does come with a stand so the you dont have to clip it onto your notebook.

Just an FYI, I am successfully using the Logitech TV Cam for Skype with my 2010 Panasonic TC-P58VT25. I don't believe the 2010 VT25's are included in Logitech's compatibility list (2011's are), but it does work.

As other reviewers have said, despite being designated a Windows-only model it works on Mac (as it's UVC compatible) with only two exceptions (hence the 4/5 rating).First, you won't get any of the special features like effects or RightLight. But after reading more into it, RightLight is simply a post-processing filter, meaning the camera itself isn't doing anything special. The software is just reading the image and adjusting it as best it can. If you're critical about the picture, I recommend getting a piece of software called "iGlasses". It's $10, but it allows full adjustment of the video coming from the cam and works in all major video chat apps. Brightness, contract, sharpness, tint, etc... it's all there.The second (and I'm not sure if Windows users even get the option) is there's no way to manually control the shutter. In very dark scenes it will sometimes slow the shutter down and achieve great (if streaky) low light ability, other times it won't. Not a HUGE deal since even without slow shutter it has by far the best low-light capability of any cam I've owned. If you have enough light to read by, it's enough to use this cam.The microphone is very good as well. Good and clear without any distortion or noise. In all, I'm very happy with it, and it's a major improvement over my old iSight firewire cam.

My Logitec camera is great!I was able to have a video chat with a friend I hadn't seen are talked to in 30 years.The camera and microphone worked and sounded great. Also in the software is the program that allows you to connect to your friends without going through any of the messengers and directly to your contact list.

I bought this back in the day when laptops didn't all have integrated webcams yet. This webcam is specific for notebooks due to its short cable and the way it attaches - it uses a clamp-mechanism that latches onto your laptop's lid, so if you have a laptop with a tapered lid, it may be hard to attach. Included is a little rubber extension for the clamp that makes it easier to attach to thin laptop screens.Picture quality is decent for the price and sound quality is acceptable for videochatting (played my guitar over videochat once.. apparently it came out fine on the other side)The lens does have a manual focus function (twist the ring around the opening) and tilts in a sagittal plane (assuming you're facing the camera).

Simple camera, does what you expect. Both camera and built-in mic are supported well on Linux (out of the box on Ubuntu). Works well with Google video, Skype and other tools.

Seller shipped fast, it came in it's original packaging. I had some trouble installing it at first, but now it's working fine. No problems yet. I'm happy with my purchase. It's a GREAT camera for such an extremely low price.

I was recently shocked to discover that my Dell laptop did not come with a built-in microphone, making it impossible to have a Skype conversation. So I ordered this camera with a built-in microphone a little bit suspicious of the quality due to the low price. The price was so low though, I decided I would just throw it away if it did not work. I'm happy to say that it works great. It is plug-and-play. No issues setting up and using for the first time. You won't be disappointed.

You would think from the reviews here on Amazon that this was a great web camera. I truly can not believe what a terrible product this turned out to be. No joke- someone should bring a lawsuit against Logitech because it is advertised as HD. Their marketing is not just deceptive, it is a flat out lie. As you will see, it not only does not do HD video- it does standard def very poorly too!The quality of picture at the tiny 320 x 180 is okay, but even at this size the frame rate is horrendous. When viewing or recording at their so-called "720p" (which is meaningless) you get half a monitor of extremely (I mean EXTREMELY) jerky, fuzzy, artifact filled picture. The avatar software provided also does not work, even after updating.Don't waste you money on this camera! I have owned a number of Logitech products over the years and their quality is really not good overall. In fact, now that I think about it, I have had a 75% failure rate on Logitech products! This is a company who spends most of their money on marketing and very little on R&D. Their customer support is not the best either. This is the last Logitech product I will ever buy.

I bought this camera when it was a new model and was immediately taken with it. Easy to set up and use, the picture quality was very good. You want High Def? For what? I'm sure most people will only use this camera for video communications. In that vein, it's wonderful. One part of the setup will allow the camera to follow you around as you move about. I found it a bit disconcerting as it keeps moving the image in and out.Sound quality of the microphone is great. I've tried some other webcams...for more money..and they just didn't measure up.I've read the other reviews and find myself asking what the heck these people are talking about. I'm using an 8-year old HP computer with only 2GB of RAM and it works very wellYou get much, much more than your money's worth with this camera but I've found that to be the case with all Logitech products I've purchased

Not much to say here. Plug it in and clip it to your screen and you're good to go. I didn't use the installation disc, instead I found the drivers online. A lot of people said the installation disc includes a bunch of useless stuff that just weighs down your laptop anyway.I have used it for Skying and it works just fine. The mic also seems to operate great.Came with a carrying case so it travels well.Picture seems a little sensitive to light. Just make sure you good room lighting when you use it and there shouldn't be any problems.For the money, I am very pleased with it.

This camera is worth getting if you have a laptop that doesn't have a built in Camera. I used it for Skyping and broadcasting on Justin.tv. For it's price it might be worth getting if your laptop camera is subpar. The picture quality is above average (About the same as a Macbook)and its built in microphone that works great too. As another reviewer stated, the webcam can potentially get up to 30 fps.Though it is intended for laptops, I use it for my desktop and it is still good. The only problem is that the cord is too short and not typically suited for desktops. As another reviewer stated, the cord might even be too short for bigger laptops. But even so, this will only prevent you from clipping it where you want. Finally, it comes with a leather nice case that you can store it when not in use. Also if your wondering, you do not have to install a CD for the camera to work.

Quite inexpensive but very good quality. It was quick and easy to set up using the included disk. I like how you can use both the camera and the built in microphone together, the mic alone, or the video alone. When I talk with friends online, I often just use the microphone alone. It also has a few neat little features like making your video appear like an old fashion movie or if you leave for the moment, you can always replace your video with a picture of something on your computer. That's also good for showing someone pictures while you talk to them.Oh, by the way, I have a windows vista so if you have a vista, it will definitely work.

I bought this webcam after struggling for months on what model to purchase. Very pleasently surprised! Not only was this one of the cheaper models in cost, but it was super easy to install and worked excellently right out of the box. I used Skype on a high frame rate setting and it was all too easy and a great video call. Definitely the right camera for simple broadband video calls.

This is a product that can be bought from retail like in Walmart, as well as in amazon. The sound and vedio quality are good.Late update: Thanks to the comment that points me to the site of software. I can get the software now and changed rating accordingly.

I have an old windows XP machine with an intel Celeron 1500MHZ 1.50 GhZ processor and 1.21GB of ram. I have Verizon Fios. I just tested my speed and had 7.75 MB/S download and 8.84 MB/S upload.My laptop is old, but it looked like I met the minimum requirements, and the guy in the store said I should have no problem.But when I tested it on Skype, the people I called told me that my picture was blurry and my sound had a lot of static.Even worse, my computer locks up when I open the Logitech video software, due to using 100% of available ram. So, I guess I don't meet the true system requirements for this product.If I get around to it on time, I will probably return this Web Cam to the store.I suspect it would run better on a newer computer, which is why I am giving it 2 stars.

I read the reviews on Amazon as well as the Logitech website about this camera. I was hesitant to purchase because there was some criticism about its compatibility with Skype, which is the primary program I wanted to use this with. The Logitech web clearly shows that this camera is Skype compatible. I decided to buy it though while it was a lightning deal...best decision of the day! Installation was incredibly simple and didn't take much more than 5 minutes from the box to use. Most importantly for me is that it works flawlessly with Skype! The family we have video called with have all commented on the remarkable clarity of the picture. The other cool features such as avatars and other distortions make my young nephews laugh and laugh! I could not be more pleased with this camera with built in microphone!UPDATE: I did run into some problems later with my microphone. Logitec customer service was EXTREMELY helpful. They helped me troubleshoot it, and then immediately sent a replacement when it was determined to be a camera hardware issue. The new one has worked perfectly since. With solid logitec customer service to back up their products, you're in good hands!

Like all Logitech products, the C200 webcam is attractive and built to last.It's innovative design makes it a handy to hook onto flat screen monitors and it works well.When it arrived, my granddaughter asked me when I was going to install it for her. I told her that now she is 10 years old, I felt that she should be able to unpack it and read the directions and install it herself. She took the box and ran off to her bedroom computer. I went back ten minutes later to see how she was doing and she already had it installed and was on a video chat room with other kids her age.So, although I did not install it, I assume that installation is a piece of cake.Logitech C250 Webcam (Grey)

This webcam was purchased for my Grandpa who is 89 and lives across the country. I'm the only person he knows with a webcam, so he didn't want to spend too much money and wasn't interested in a lot of bells and whistles. At the same time I was looking for something easy to setup and use.There was no trouble setting it up, the installation disc was no problem to use. In fact, I believe the software disc that came with it may not have been required, as for us Skype has performed far better than Logitech's "Vid" calling software. This camera, as with most, is "USB Video Class". This means XP should install it by just plugging it's cable into the computer.It has been easy to use as once the camera itself is installed all user functions are regarding your software of choice (e.g. Skype).As for picture quality, I am able to tell a noticeable difference in picture sharpness between his Logitech C250 model (1.3 megapixels) and another friend's Logitech C905 model, which has 2 megapixels. Still a good picture for the price, as this is on the low(er) end of the line.There have only been two slight issues in a month of use:(1 It would not clip to his LCD flar panel monitor, so he folded the clip (as if to sit it on a flat surface, or CRT "box" monitor) and sat it on a shelf beside his screen.(2 Occasionally it's light sensor seems to get confused and the picture will appear either red or green tinted. Moving the camera around or retarting the computer has fixed the issue every time (only 3 or 4 times in total) it has happened.Hopefully this will be helpful to the next potential buyer. :-)

The installation and ease of use was astounding. I was worried when I read some of the previous reviews but when I set it up I had no problems and absolutely love the camera with microphone. This makes life easier when my daughter is in the hospital and can't see her siblings or father for long periods of time so that she still gets daddy to read to her at night before bed. Thank you for an awesome camera and mic.

I bought this unit a while ago and what happened is that they forced me to upgrade the software in order to use it and now all of the sudden the image is nothing but blurry. So in other words, they rig it to where you have to buy a new cam. The problem is that the image quality is so bad you can not discern who I am. I will never buy another logitech product in my for this reason alone. I could understand if the image quality was subpar, but to make it so that you can't even make out who it is...that is bs..total bs...

I'm sure like others that have found out, the quest for a good webcam can lead to a lot of dead ends. One that kept popping up on my radar screen is the mid level Logitech C600. The thing that appealed to me primarily were the simple features. With a two tone black finish, the glass lens C600 is packed with an attached 6' USB cable, software CD, instructions and a two year product warranty.The expandable clip easily attaches to my LCD monitor or it can free stand on the desk. I found that the webcam installs perfectly with or without the enclosed Logitech software. Just plug and play. It paired well with both Meebo and Google's Gmail "G Chat" without stalling or interruptions. Another plus is, it paired well with both my desktop and laptop.I was very impressed by the clarity and sharpness of image transmission. The microphone picks up even the faintest of whispers. The jury is out on the product's RightLight technology. I did not see that much difference in lighting over my older Logitech webcam. The manually operated privacy shutter is a nice add on.The much hyped Logitech video calling network software package with its special effects and avatars is probably an okay add on for some but not for us. Personally I find it too intrusive. As I have mentioned earlier, its not required to get the webcam up and running. Other chat networks work fine without it.Overall for the price and features, I find the Logitech C600 Webcam to be a step up over other internet communication tools in the same category. The C600 delivers on the basics and more.

Very happy with this webcam ordered via Amazon.comPromp delivery. Top quality. I love Logitech products, their quality control rates on their products seem to reach the 100% rates for trouble free products. Easy to connect to your computer. Works in less than 5 minutes! 1.3MP gives a great and sharp picture. More than enough for Google chat or Skype. I would recommend that particular C200 model to anyone.

I got this last night. It took a few minutes to download the software and immediately said it required a software upgrade from the site but after about 10 minutes it was installed and ready to go. My daughter got to skype with her grandma 800 miles away and it was perfect. The picture and sound were much better than I expected.
