I love apple products, just like most of the world does!I sold my ipad3 to get the new ipad4 due to the HD front facing camera and the blazing fast A6 chip compared to the A5 I had in my ipad3.Long story short, Biggest mistake ever! The ipad4th generation has an issue with Wi-Fi, if you don't believe me or if you are skeptical just Google it and it will appear right away. It is not my intention at all to harm apple, in fact I plan to return my ipad4 and buy an ipad3 because it was perfect.Also, Just to let you know, after I received my ipad4 I sold it and bought another one just to discover it had the same problem with Wi-Fi.Apple made a huge mistake with their new generation ipad4, and they should either fix the problem or stop selling the unit. The new ipad will disconnect every 5-15 mins constantly! It's terrible, it will make you angry, frustrated ,and this is far from what you would call quality.It's your money and your call, just don't say I didn't warn you. The only reason I am writing this review is to prevent people from having the same terrible experience I had.

This review is coming from a person who bought the original iPad and did not upgrade to the iPad 2 when it came out.The iPad is a remarkable device. I find it to be much more useful than any laptop out there for many reasons, including portability, application availability, and ease of use.One reason why the iPad is so fast compared to laptops is due to the fact that it uses flash storage memory, or in other words, there are no moving parts inside the device, like a laptop would have with a typical moving hard drive that would eventually die after X number of years.I am not an Apple fanboy. I do see where they have some flaws. But if you're wondering if the iPad is worth the money, it absolutely is. You get what you pay for, and the iPad is a perfect example of it.I skipped the iPad 2 because they did not come out with the retina display, which makes everything, most notably text, much more sharp then it has been previously. If you do any fair amount of reading on the device, you need to get the third generation iPad, and don't look at the previous models. It will be entirely worth it, and you will not look back or regret your decision.And for the people who are confused why Apple chose not to name this device the iPad 3, I would like to help with a brief explanation. Apple currently has many products where they do not have a numbering system in the official title of the device, like the iPod, iPod touch, MacBook, MacBook Pro, Apple TV, and so on. It's simply labeled just with the title of the device, and the way people distinguish it from previous models is to simply refer to it as the first, second or third generation, etc. Evidently they are going to do this with the iPad now as well, and you can count on the fact that the next iPhone that will be released will not be called the iPhone 5. :-) I partially digress, but for the people who are wondering about this with any possible confusion, I hope this clears some of it up.I could get into all of the features that it has, but if you're looking for an overall device that does everything extremely well and fast, look no more and get this third generation iPad. It's easy to use and fast, but most importantly, it is fun and productive.

The new iOS 6 for Ipad has just been released, so I will talk about it.YouTube is not a pre-loaded app anymore, but you can now see Youtube videos directly in Safari.Siri is the voice command interface for Apple. You can ask Siri the result of the latest game and Siri will answer. It works very well, but it lacks support. I tested it asking the result from a soccer game in which Manchester United had played yesterday and it gave me the result from last weekend.However, when I asked about a pizza place near my home, it gave me 15 options and with just one click it began giving GPS directions for me to get there. It was great!Siri dictation can even write notes or send e-mails for you!This feature alone makes Ipad great for students or professionals who need to take quick notes or need remainders.I tried to open many games with voice command, but Siri identified only half of them. There should be a way to teach Siri the names of your favorite app (I love Draw Something and Siri did not identified it). It might be because I am using Siri in Spanish, maybe it has more support in English, but I don't know how to change language setting!Anyway, Ipad is the best tablet in the market. It is great for Kids because it has lots of games, the screen shows beautiful colors and the screen responds to light or hard touch very well.Teenagers will love social apps integration such as Facebook or Twitter, they can share photos in an easy way. Flipboard looks great on Ipad!I know it is expensive but it is worth it.

I kept myself away from 1st and the 2nd gen iPad for past 3 years. I thought having a windows tablet would make lot of sense to me. But after 3 years still there are no windows tablet and windows 8 is planed to be released by end of 2012. And there will be host of tablet makers good/bad/ugly onces in the market and trying to find the best one is difficult. So that means another 1.5 years of wait.Meanwhile, about 8 months back I purchased asus transformer 1st gen. It kept me happy for sometime, but latter I was less than happy with its performance. With the death of asus transformer tablet that I own, it was no brainer to buy the 3rd gen iPad.The iPad does what it is advertised to do, it is a giant iPod touch, but the larger screen is always better.The tablet is all nice and good, the apps, the performance the acceleration, the retina display etc.BUT the display calibration is bad. I have iPhone 4 and now iPad 3. iPhone 4 has much better color reproduction quality than iPad. The white on iPad looks pale white instead of pleasant white on iPhone.If the display is not able to reproduce the white properly then there is no way (IMO) it will be able to reproduce other colors properly.I have attached an image showing the difference between iPhone 4 and iPad3 display.EDIT1: I am doing a battery cycle test, i.e. charge to the maximum, discharge till it shuts off. Then recharge back to 100%. It took about 6-7 hrs to discharge the battery completely mostly reading books and surfing and few 1-2 min youtube video.And it is taken me 6 hrs to charge from 20% to 85%, I did not track when I put it charge at 0% so it has actually taken much longer to come to 85%. It is not a good deal with the batter, right? The battery discharges way faster than recharging. I am using the adapter and cable provided by the iPad 3. The battery recharging capability is less than satisfactory to me.Edit2: I upped my rating by one star because I am more than happy with the performance of the device. How fast I can type compared to the android device I had and many apps that are polished for good experience.

so by now you probably read about all the major "problems" people are experiencing with the new ipad/3...main issues reported are "overheating" and wifi issues....well let me tell you, this device does get a little warm by the bottom left part of the back of the ipad BUT its not HOT, just a mere warm feel, nothing compared to the first gen iphone's heat while using wifi or simply charging it... when i first got the new ipad and opened the box and started it, they asked me if i wanted to restore my info from icloud that my previous ipad 2 had installed...so i did, and was connected to wifi downloading and installing things automatically and continously for more than 3 hours and the ipad didnt even get hot, it was still just warm.with this said lets go onto the wifi rumor...SAME strong wifi signal i'm getting despite reports of the new ipad having considerably much weaker wifi strength than the ipad 2...its a lie, its the same exact signal u would expect to get from an ipad 2 you'll get with the new ipad / ipad 3 as some may call it.retina screen is nothing short from amazing!!! from the moment you turn on the device you'll notice the extremely clear quality of the screen. camera at the back is a whole lot better and has face detection which is really cool.. and well the front facing cam still sucks :( voice dictation is pretty accurate, you just need to speak into the mic clear enough and make sure not too much external noises are present as the device wont understand your input. processor speed between A5 and A5x isn't something you'll really notice during regular browsing but its nice to still know you have that extra headroom of processor power though...BUT for high GPU demanding games such as Infinity Blade 2 you'll definately benefit from a smooother gaming experience and more frames per secondpotential buyers should not be discouraged from buying the new ipad. I'll recommend this tablet to ANYONE looking for the best in the market right now.

Instead of going through all the review aspect of the device I will simply touch upon the basics and what means the most to me. I'm familiar with Apple products ranging from the iMac, Macbook, iPhone(s), iPod(s) and iPad(s). I owned the first gen iPad while my wife owns the second gen. After all of this time I knew it was time to upgrade. My 1st gen. iPad was slowing down and the laggy moments were really starting to get to me. I don't like to wait....I admit it, Im impatient!So after getting irritated with some lag I ordered the iPad 3. Immediately there is a huge speed increase compared to the 1st gen. Compared to the 2nd gen, you won't notice much of anything. What you will notice of course is the screen. It looks absolutely amazing. Very clear. Perfect.So what else is there to say? It's light (compared to the 1s gen, almost the same as the 2nd) an roughly the same size. I'm using the Apple case from the 1st gen for this one even though it is a bit loose. I had to punch a small hole in the back for the camera but that was easy enough. The camera works great and takes good photos in 'house' lighting. No flash but that's ok with me. I usually taking random photos and not counting on this as my primary camera. All in all, it's better than the 2nd gen, worse than a point and shoot. Video is good quality though. Not bad at all.Battery life is like the other iPads.....AWESOME! No issues with it being hot (it does get luke-warm).For me this is the king of the tablets. I have android tablets and they are good but not great. When it comes to having something that simply works and works very well, then you can't beat Apple and the iPad. You can do the same with other tablets but not as easily or as seamless. That I assure you.I'll update in the future.

I purchased this to upgrade from older ipad 2 and I can already feel the difference in performance. The only problem with iPad is it can't replace Full functionality of your Mac or Windows PC or not even Android as it is locked down in terms of OS and You have to use things the way Apple wants you to use it and have no freedom of choice. You can have numerous Apps to do your usual stuff and have to keep track of it and use cloud etc. which is constant data connection and churning battery a lot. I have used Tablets and Smartphones in last 7-8 years and I am very deep techno user and have used all the Platforms and eco systems.

For the price you can't beat it. It's nearly 1/2 the cost of the apple ones and includes protection for the back of the iPad as well. It's not perfect, and I'm sure it'll wear out faster than the apple ones, but for 25-30 you can't beat it.

I just purchased this device, i previously owned the iPad 2 and the iPad 3rd gen. Below are some of the improvements with this latest model and some of my impressions.Pros- Dual-core A6X with quad-core graphics means games and apps runs twice as fast compared to the 3rd Gen iPad. No slowdowns on apps that i previously had problems with.- Wifi speeds are also twice as fast. The improvements are noticeable, downloading on the Appstore, watching Youtube and just browsing are quick.- It runs cooler. Using this device for several hours won't burn you, Battery life is also the same to the previous model.- Front facing camera is 720p, back is 5 megapixelCons- Lightning connection port means some accessories won't work without an adapter.- The camera quality wasn't that impressive.Overall the upgraded version has many improvements, if your undecided about making the purchase all you have to do is ask yourself, are you happy with the performance of your current device? if your not a gamer and your not using apps that require a lot of processing power then you don't really need it but if your experiencing slow downs, this is the device you need.

Ok I stepped out and took a chance on used electronic equipment and bought an iPad. Though anxiously awaited the delivery time...New York to Nevada requires a degree of patience.. It did arrive two days earlier than promised. Went immediately to the nearby Apple store for a checkup and training and couldn't have felt more intelligent with my purchase. It worked like brand new, included 2 protective covers so saved me that add on and I spent $200 less than I expected if I went with the 16gb...and I got the 64gb with high def!! Thank you amazon, great job once again!!

I bought one of these and it worked great for 6 months.However it simply died withou reason. Now this should upset most people and frankly I did not like I either. But I went to an apple store and they simple gave me a new one.No questions, no demands for receipts or the original box of the product. Absolutely nothing.That's what I call an amazing customer service!!!!!

This is 500$, you'd be better off paying 600$ to build a gaming PC, this thing is overrated there is absolutely no visible difference between retina and standard, this chips on the body extremely easy even when it stays in a case 24/7, save your money get a good powerful tablet like an acer iconia, or a build a gaming PC for 100$ more.

How did the lowly tablet come to steamroll the PC market? By it's overwhelming usability. I'm so impressed by the versatility of the New iPad 4G Verizon LTE. I thought I would only use it to consume media. It does that and much more. In the first few days of ownership, I've used it as a portal into the world. I find it more comfortable than a PC to read Wikipedia, see amazing photos, and watch instructional videos. The display is the first mobile device to use XHD resolution -- much higher resolution and better fidelity than today's desktop monitors. When I travel, I no longer have to pack a wireless router, GPS (via cellular radio), Kindle, iPod, extra rechargers or cables. The iPad becomes a big battery WiFi hotspot via its cellular modem. I've loaded Windows 8 Consumer Preview on several notebooks. With the use of SplashTop server and iPad app called "Win8 Metro Testbed", I'm able to use the iPad as a Windows 8 tablet. Works well. This one device has both simplified and amplified my life. The device's primary negative is some screen glare and complete washout in bright sunlight. eInk is much superior in that environment.Update 17-Apr-2012: In Paris, both my New iPad and iPhone are working with Free.fr SIM cards. Free.fr's SIM is 20 Euros per month, prepaid, and includes 3GB data usage. If the device has a phone (iPhone) it includes unlimited voice and SMS. The iPhone needs no special settings. iPhone and iPad both work with Personal Hotspots feature on free.fr. For data use, the iPad requires an APN setting of "free" in Cellular Data settings, and again in Personal Hotspot if that feature is desired. Free.fr uses the Orange.fr 3G network -- France's largest. Using Speedtest.net, I usually get > 1Mbps download speeds and as high as 10Mbps sometimes. Data usage requires 3G which is ubiquitous in Paris but voice works fine on 2G (usually found in Metros).

As much as I liked my iPad 1, I thought MacBook Air 11 would be a more practical choice in term of upgrade. However, very soon after buying MacBook Air and giving my iPad 1 away I realized that I really missed my iPad (another thing I thought would help me to deal without it was a 4.5 LG Spectrum Phone).I was concerned about the New iPad being a bit more bulky than iPad 2 and getting warm as some people complained. Waiting until a new version of iPad is released seemed like a good idea, but I decided to go for it and buy the New iPad anyways. No regrets: it is not bulkier than my older ipad 1, and even though I do feel the warmth on its back and wish it was not there, the high resolution screen makes up for it and would probably compensate for more problems if there were more ones.The iPad definitely has the niche of its own: as small as MacBook Air 11 is, it is not the same. New iPad has a way better screen, nicer form factor (for reading and for browsing), and does not get overheated as quickly (my MBA would turn its fan almost right away as I start watching a video on it). If you have to compromise and have only one device, MBA is a better choice of course because it is a computer, not a mobile device. But as a second device iPad works really well.

Everything good about this device which you may have heard by now is total truth. I bought this exact model yesterday and I have just one problem. I can't put it down!I did a side by side comparison with my old iPad and it's like holding a rotary phone next to a smartphone. No comparison. Until I started using this new model yesterday, I didn't think I was missing anything but I was wrong. So what are you waiting for? Go buy one and see for yourself!Setup took no time because I regularly use iTunes and was able to replicate all the contents from my old iPad to my new one. I think my hubbie might have to have one too so he can enjoy it once in a while. Prying it out of my hands is outta the question. :DI recommend a Satellite wireless external Hard Drive and a leather cover with pro Bluetooth keyboard and a 2 yr extended warranty. I figure by then, there will be something new to buy anyway.I might just go back to reading books now too. Any excuse to use this baby. ;)

I have owned one of these since it first came out. I can see it's use for simply surfing the web and casual gaming, but not much else.Most people know about the iPad, so I'm not going to get into too many specifics, but I will say I simply didn't care of it. I bought it to help with music production, which it was heavily advertised for. It simply does not work that well with music production. I did enjoy the interface it has the Omnisphere, the best VST money can buy in my opinion, but beyond that, I didn't enjoy using it. I tried multiple apps, and for the most part have been greatly disappointed. I would rather use a windows based laptop/tablet or mac and be able to use many more of the products on the market.Don't believe the hype. It is not built for music production. It cannot hold a candle to a PC or a full Mac in that aspect. The guitar effects are never up to par, and it just doesn't have the power it needs to do so, certainly not for the price.

I've been using an Acer A400 for about a year, and to be honest, with the firmware and software updates it has become a very stable and fun tablet. It does absolutely everything I need. I love having the built in full size USB port, MicroSD card and true dolby stereo speakers. So you are probably asking, why did you buy an Ipad then.I wanted to check out some new technology and I already know Apple makes some great products for graphic/audio and Education. Well I like the interface and ability to truly close out programs. But you know what? The Apple bogs down when truly multitasking. The android puts apps in a suspended state, so you can have dozens of apps open. Android "claims" it is ok, but the performance does start to hurt. The iPad simply gets hot and bogs down if you do the same things.The iPad has a better and more solid feel, it is a snappier interface, but it is locked down. The Android is semi-locked down, but easy to change. You don't have to have a face full of icons.If I had to start over again, I wouldn't buy either at this date and time. I honestly believe that there are some very good products based on Windows 8 and later versions of Android that will hit the market in Q3. This will be a game changer as far as functionality and usefulness of a tablet.My advice. Put your credit card back in your wallet unless you have an immediate need for a tablet. Don't fall for either an Android or iPad at this particular time. They are all over priced and the limitations are frustrating. Go take a walk and think about the fact that you can save the money for a much more advanced generation of tablet about to hit the market 3 to 6 months down the road.I rate this a HOLD.

I ordered my Ipad on July 25th of 2012. I received it shortly thereafter. A few weeks later I called Verizon for a data plan which they did provide. When the first bill came from Verizon there was a $904.13 equipment charge. After several calls and many hours on the phone Verizon tells me the serial number of the Ipad I bought from Tech Giant, fulfilled by Amazon is (wait for it...) STOLEN. I offer to provide Verizon with my proof of purchase from Amazon and Verizon says it doesn't matter. Verizon says I bought a stolen Ipad so I am responsible to Verizon for payment (904.13) after I have already paid Amazon $864.00 for the Ipad. I contacted Amazon about it and all they say is they are sorry and let them know if they can be of further assistance. HELLO I contacted you for assistance. Did you help me when I wasn't looking? Sounds like Tech Giant owes Verizon some money. Needless to say I am about as ticked off as one can be.

If you like reading books, watching TV shows or Movies, and playing games, then this device is perfect. However, the Ipad was never intended for serious office work or as a portable storage device, so be informed up front, this tool will not replace your laptop or even your netbook due to its limitations.That said, I have used it to display PowerPoint presentations and to do light office work. But when it comes to editing or performing actual day-to-day work related tasks, this device is simply not capable of performing much (if any of them) without jumping through tons of hoops for every new project.This shouldn't matter if you use this tablet for it's intended function: to entertain you.PROS: The construction is second to none. Processor speed is excellent. Huge library of Apps. Long battery life. And fairly simple to use. The speaker is also pretty decent.CONS: It can be a pain to upload files. ITunes is the worst program I've ever used. The back is way too smooth to get a grip on (basically, you NEED a case/cover to actually hold onto this device with any sense of security). Accuracy with a stylus isn't that great; only the most talented artists are capable of using this as a drawing tablet and your handwriting will never look worse than it does on this device.Even with the amount of cons, I can't stop using this tablet when I'm away from the computer.And depending on where you live, a wifi version should be sufficient when out and about. I've rarely had difficulty finding a hot spot at any destination I've travelled to.

The two most important features as compared to the iPad 2 and the new iPad are the amazing resolution and this speech to text dictation.I am now using the dictation to write this review and it seems so much better than Nuance Dragon Natural Speaking. Combined with the new resolution, which is much noticeably better than the iPad 2, it seems worth the upgrade. If you sell your iPad 2 you are only lose about $150; Apple products hold their value. Apple has created a system for apps, which makes which makes the new iPad available to download your current apps in four times the resolution; Web browsing and Kindle texts looks so much clearer on the new iPad. If you are a blogger or WordPress, Joomla or just an every day emailer there is no point in having a external keyboard for the new iPad. The voice to text dictation is a huge bonus.Cons:Although the front facing camera is adequate for Skype and FaceTime the resolution is not as good as other cameras for taking clear pictures. Another con compared to the iPad 2 is that the battery takes very long to charge. Although the backward facing 1080P camera may seem good on paper it is not as good as one would think. Like me, not many people use their iPad for recording videos anyway.Also, like the iPad 2 the Wi-Fi antenna is not nearly as good as a laptop or desktop computer.16 GB is really all you need, most people don't even use half of the space. Streaming music or videos does not require any extra GBs, however if you use it as your main camcorder, download video/music directly to your iPad consider getting more space or more than 16GB. If you are a big traveler and have the money go with the LTE version, otherwise the Wi-Fi version is all you need.

I didn't know much about the iPad except that my 13-year-old son had to have it. I choose the generation one down from the very latest as of now (Dec. 2012). The graphics are stunning, and my son says it was his best Christmas present ever (and I've always spoiled that kid). Also, I got it from the seller in "like new" condition. And true to their word, it looked absolutely new and even came with the original plastic over it. I saved nearly $100 by getting it used, however, so I was extremely happy about that..Anyway, I can't speak to any of the higher functionality that others may be looking for in an iPad. All I know is that I continue to be impressed with it the more my son uses it.

I spent my entire life in the information tech field. I have never seen a computer that didn't arrive with an instruction manual. The iPad is SO intuitive, one isn't needed!I love it ! The iPad can do literally anything and it is totally amazing! Before you consider one of the many clones, tablet pc's, or W8 computers, Please take a look at the iPad. I am so happy that I popped for the extra $100 to get the iPad 4.

Just got my IPad the other day, and have yet to find anything to dislike about it. I'm glad I got the one with 32gigs of storage! Although my primary motivation for getting the IPad was for the wonderful apps, which are way better than the ones on the IPod touch, mainly because of the bigger screen. I decided to sync the IPad with my ITunes library and that filled up 16.5gigs, but the photos and movies look great on the IPad, and make them easier to share with friends and family, the music, not so much. Anyway, with the extra hard drive space I wont have to worry about running out of space, at least for the next year or two. I'm sure to replace this IPad with a later model by then and hopefully it will have a port for an SD card. I ordered through Amazon for 2nd day delivery, and it got here on time and undamaged. One thing that I liked about my Ipod touch was the weather app, on the IPad the weather app is not included, but if you buy the WeatherBug Elite app, you not only get detailed weather, current and forcast with dangerous weather alerts, but you also can watch the national weather forcast on the WeatherBug.com website! How cool is that? Get it you'll love it! dump that laptop or netbook!

I bought an iPad because I really wanted the ability to take digital notes in my classes and not have to carry around 5 different notebooks along with everything else for my classes. I bought a stylus to go along with my iPad and I love taking notes on it.Along with taking notes I am able to keep digital versions of all my books on my iPad so when I go to school I am able to take just my iPad to class with me and not have to worry about remembering each book for the day.Aside from loving the iPad for use at school it is as great as everyone else makes it out to be. Being able to watch movies and play games on it makes it a great all around tool for me to use at school. When I'm not in class or studying I can use it to take a break and play a few games.

Apple allows you to purchase Applecare within 30 days if you purchase an Apple product from another vendor. Two issues came up when I purchased Applecare for an iPad I bought on Amazon, one the Applecare starts the date the third-party vendor bought the item from Apple, not the date you buy it from Amazon. Secondly, you will not be able to purchase Applecare Plus, which is an enhanced version of Applecare (allowing for replacement of broken devices due to your fault, not just manufacturer defects).

It's not prolific but it is handy for some things. The retina display is pretty amazing. It is much faster than the original iPad also, which made it a good upgrade.

I am writing this review after owning an iPad for 6 months. I purchased the iPad 3rd Generation when it was released and I stopped using my laptops to browse the web or watch videos. I used it for school and work for taking notes, but I felt like writing on the screen was awkward. For the most part, it was just for browsing the web and watching movies.Being a student, I really needed something lightweight and functional for school, but I was unable to program in it, or type quickly. I just sold my iPad on eBay and purchased a MacBook Air instead and I am glad I did. It's not too heavy and does so much more than an iPad could ever do. The problem with the iPad is that its software is too restricting, and can't do everything a computer can do. Don't expect it to replace your laptop if you need to use them for more than just movies and web browsing.

** Edit to this review - I have no clue why this iPad is $559 here when it's $499 everywhere else - Buyers beware! **I came looking for an iPad on Amazon and they re-directed me to a Kindle Fire vs iPad chart. I bought in to their marketing and picked up the Fire instead of the iPad 2.What they fail to mention is that the Fire is NOT a Tablet, but an eReader with a few Tablet like functions - I couldn't easily edit documents, let alone create new ones, the User Interface was very laggy and buggy and I only have access to 5GB of storage and not 8GB as advertised and I had a much smaller selection of apps than even my 1st generation iPod Touch.I've since picked up the new 3rd generation iPad and the Kindle Fire is a toy compared to it - I can do just about everything - Even visit flash-based sites via Photon browser, and the selection of creative apps, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint compatibility is AMAZING. The iPad is 95% of what a laptop is and does things not other device can do right now.My new iPad is even a Kindle AND a Nook! - I can buy books from all 3 major eBooks publishers and the iPad's much more powerful CPU lets me breeze through huge PDF files.There's a reason why Amazon doesn't list the iPad on their Top 100 list - They know the iPad is a better device. Yes, it costs more, but there's a reason for that! If you want a good eReader get a Kindle Touch, if you want a real Tablet and King of the all buy the new iPad!

Grandma bought this for our Daughter on her Birthday. The IPad 4 is all we were told it was and more. The display is incredible and our daughter is using the education apps to help in school. She loves to read now more then ever. The books and apps we download have increased her love for reading and learning. I think that is the major gift that you really get from Apple. A learning platform for kids as well as a device for adults.If you are an adult and want a device that will increase your child's love for learning, you cant go wrong with this product. Thanks Steve, we miss you.

problem with seller not Apple. I ordered the new ipad (brand new). It arrived the very next day. The package was slightly damaged. I wanted to buy the protection plan from Apple and so I contacted them. Apple told me that this product is already registered in their system and it is a used product. I was surprised to hear that. Upon contacting the seller, they never offered me a brand new ipad. They said if I keep this ipad they will give 25$ store credit or 3 year protection plan. I am returning the product now (shipping cost by me). buyers beware.one thing I noticed is the seller changes the name frequently. I would recommend buying Apple products from name brand store.

I've had my new iPad for a couple weeks now & I am constantly having road blocks doing basic everyday functions. Don't be fooled by the slick design & nice screen display, this device has so many limitations compared to other cheaper devices.I think it's good for an entertainment device but it's horrible for business. Here's why....The iPad does not allow a basic way to attach a file to an email.The iPad does not allow a way to upload any content through a web browser. Example, if you wanted to upload your current resume to a career site, there is no way for iPad to do so. You would have to use your computer or an android device.I'm shocked in 2012 with a hi tech device I'm unable to do the most basic everyday functions.I tested out some cheaper android tablets & they all seem to do the basic internet functions with no problem; even the Kindle Fire!?. Email attachment, upload & download files through the web browser. All web content is not hosted through iTunes so the restrictions is a big headache. If you do any business through email & web browsers, do not travel without a laptop.

The Apple iPad does most everything very well. If you need to browse websites or run apps with significant variations in user interface (text, buttons, forms, cyclics, graphics, ...) then there is nothing better than the iPad. If you can only carry one tablet, carry this one. However, if you are primarily going to be using it as as e-reader, then get an e-reader. I have the Amazon Kindle 2nd edition. It only does one thing well but it does it better than anything else. Its light. The battery lasts for *weeks*! Simple interface to Amazon's Kindle Store, etc. The e-readers are relatively inexpensive and small so the additional effort/cost of carrying one is acceptable, IMO. And my Kindle books automatically synch to my iPhone and iPad allowing me to read on those devices as opportunities arise.

the iPad was used and no new as advertised, the back has scratches. and the iPad had a different plastic cover that was not the original. In the information the never mention it was used.

This is my first IPAD. I love it , Need to learn how to better use it - as there are so many things it can do - which I am probably not using.I watch netflicks on this and to play games while I am travelling.Love the quality of pictures etc.Great productWould recommend to others

I use my iPhone for news video clip, reading books and documents, and surfing the web. I wish a version of MS Office were available for writing and editing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. (The apps available are of mediocre quality).

The iPAD 32GB was purchased as a Christmas gift for my nephew who already had an iPhone and wanted an iPAD. It arrvede in pristene condition and presented on Christmas day. My nephew has only the highest accolades for the gift. He loves playing with it.
