the ipad 4 is an excellent tablet because. it has great battery life that lastest up to 10 hours or more, screen quality with very clear picture, and good sound thats clear and unmuffled.

I chose an iPad 3 because unlike the iPad 2 it has Retina display and unlike the 4th generation it doesn't have the lightning cord.This iPad works as well as it should.

My iPad is never idle. If it is not me taking pictures, using the internet, indexing, reading, games, and on and on. My grandchildren and children helped me get to know how to use it. And of course want to use it when I am not. And I do let them. It's a wonderful device.

There were no instructions on how to register all the different components. I still cannot get into most of the apps. Honestly, I am totally frusttrated with this device. I know it can do so many things, yet, I cannot get to any of them. So far I have been able to get emails (sometimes), take pictures, take videos, and send pictures. Other than that, it just sits and gathers dust. NOT what I expected for $700.

Propably the retina iPad has better WiFi but my wife old samsung galaxy 10.1 has much better WiFi than ipad 3. That is disappointig.

First of all I want to point out that I own an Ipad (first edition) and Ipad2. I need a tablet primarily to work with e-mail, read and listen to the news (cnbc and others), watch movies and listen to the music on the go. And if a product is well made and of good quality I'm not going to buy something else just because it is NEW, but actually doesn't offer substantially better experience. Not only new Ipad doesn't offer something that would made it different from previous models (for example possibility of installing windows , or Adobe Flash etc.), but I have serious doubts about its quality. Based on my previous experience the quality of first Ipad is not that good ( It worked well for almost 2 years, but then one day just died), and I doubt that Ipad 3 quality is any better. I am most certainly not going to be buying a tablet that has 2 years life period (and who knows maybe even less). And it really pisses me off that a lot of times instead of graphics and charts you see empty space or you cannot listen to an interview. In my opinion right now Apple is making money on a smart marketing strategy, but not on an innovative product.

very fast delivery, less than 5 days. Product was brand new in factory sealed box and was perfect. Wife just loves it.Christmas gift.Ipad ordered was "new Ipad" which i thought was Ipad 3, but IPad 4 was what I received.Very good seller.

This was purchased to replace a notebook computer for my wife. It does the primary things so well, has a monster of a battery and is light weight. Email, web surfing, takes pictures, large enough for tired eyes. Would hope prices will go down as competition improves.

I bought this iPad for my cousin and got to use it for a week. It's a nice unit but I don't think I'd spend this price on a Pad. I bought the White iPad 3 wiFi and 32Gb.PROS:1.Smooth operating system and quicker than the previous version.2.Resolution on screen and on cameras are much smoother and defined.3.Battery Life is greatCONS: (gave a 4 star rating for points listed below)1.Would like to have an expansion slot for more memory and maybe even a USB connection for my external drive2.High Dollar tag for something that pretty much does what all the other iPads and tabs do (My Asus- TF300 is $200 Cheaper) and still provides all the things that anyone else would use a pad for3.Heavier than my ASUS Transformer 3004.Love my Droid and the vast applications that are free or has minimal charge to purchase

Don't buy the ipad from amozon because on the apple store it's $30 cheaper than amozon.I was suprized by this because apple's products are a little higher than amozon's.I would perfer to get the ipad from the apple store.Plus on the apple store you can add a ingraving to the back.

I ordered this iPad for Christmas, the seller was very nice and I appreciate getting it before Christmas. But the pictures fade in and out on it and it won't hold a charge very long. I'm not sure what can be done but Im not very happy.
