I had these phones sent to my parents who are elderly. A neighbor set the phones up for my parents. Today my mother complained that she looked at the books and did not see any clear, easy to find directions on what all the extra buttons are supposed to do so she is not happy and I live too far away to explain things to her. Panasonic, please include very easy directions for use. I have no idea about the rest of the phone quality, but not ease of use for elderly unless they are able to have a tutoring session.

I'm a very big fan of the "Call Block" feature, which allows you to block up to 30 annoying numbers at a time. It's great if you live in an area inundated with Telemarketers who won't take the hint. Now for the bad- the headset jack doesn't work for a hill of beans & goes in and out depending on how hard you press the jack in while using it. (I literally had to Tape the jack in place to keep pressure on it so it would work).

Excellent buy. I use these in my home one downstairs and one upstairs. The nice thing is if I'm upstairs reading and my husband is downstairs I can page him without going down the stairs and vice versa. Also if one of use gets a phone call you can page and transfer the phone call. I would most definitely purchase again.

I really like the style of this phone, but the onogoing issue seems to be that it lasts about a year to a year and a half and then it conks out. I have purchased it again because it is one of the only cordless phones that works well with the headset that I like to use. However, the life expectancy need improving.

I have had the phone for less than two months, and I'm not very satisfied. I have a job where I have to be on the phone for hours at a time, and the low battery indicator starts beeping within two hours of a phone call, and continues for six hours until the phone finally dies.Also, the speakerphone option is malfunctioning. If I turn speakerphone on, I cannot turn it off during a phone call. I have to hang up, and make the call again. This is incredibly inconvenient.

I decided to hold off on writing a review until I've actually used it for several weeks. So far, its a good phone. I was wanting a basic cordlesss phone with a single handset, no frills I don't need, and I chose this one to replace a Chinese made GE which crapped out on me after just two years. I chose Panasonic in hopes it was still made in their Osaka plant where my small Panasonic stereo was which I've had for many years without any problem whatsoever. Also, most of the reviews on this phone are very favorable. The little screen is easy to read, and the menu slightly confusing at first until I got accustomed to it, the batteries hold their charge extremely well, a good thing. The clarity is good, I only wish the speaker were slightly larger though, it tends to "wander" off of my ear when I try and do something while I'm on the phone, but everything now is made tiny like toys. The range I have no complaints about, it has never lost the signal yet when I've gone outside while talking, and static is rare. One thing which does disappoint me, is unfortunately it is made in China, (what isn't. So how long it will last is unknown, only time will tell. Hopefully longer than the two years my old Chinese made GE lasted. I only wish Amazon would specify in their product descriptions where it is made. Over all, in spite of that flaw, I do still recommend this phone if you want a basc one.That is also the reason I rated it four stars and not five; because of where it was made.

Великолепно

More features than I need. Bought it for the security -- resistant to eavesdropping, and the use of standard AAA Lithium Ion batteries. I suppose I will eventually try the other features.The contact list is easy to use. Unlike some other phones I own, caller ID seems to work.

These phones were highly rated, but we found them to be of poor quality. They were to replace an old AT&T set that was worn out, but this is a poor substitute. Overall, a shoddy product. The vocal caller ID service is useless, as the "voice" makes a hash of the callers names. All calls, even those answered, are listed as missed calls & have to be cleared out. All aspects, phonebook, messages, etc are more difficult to use & require more steps to complete. I fail to see why these phones were highly rated.

Really, when there are already more than 800 reviews, there is no reason to be wordy.Here it is in a nutshell:1. Sound quality is perfect. I suffer from nearly 40% hearing loss but have no problems using this phone. I can hear every word of every conversation.2. My house seems to destroy wireless signals. No problems anyone in the home with any handsets.3. Uses standard rechargeable batteries, so if I ever need to replace them, it will cost next to nothing.4. Very easy to add additional handsets. I bought the two handset unit, then decided to eliminate another base station I own and add two handsets to this set. It could not have been easier. Just press a button on the base station and drop the new handset on the charger. Done.5. Small base unit, small charger stations, small wall adapters. Who needs bulk?If you need something else in a phone, you need too much.

Every phone we buy seems to run out of battery power after a few months. So we decided to invest in a high quality phone. The sound quality is great. Also, the speakerphone function works great. Whenever grandma calls my daughter she can walk around with the phone and jabber away. Don't really use any of the other fancy features but appreciate the quality.

Nice phone system, easy to setup, and good sound quality. Best feature is the shared voicemail access. Set it up on one phone and it's available for them all. Good battery life too. Personally, I'll only buy Panasonic cordless phones as I feel they're the best.

read good reviews of this phone,and so far No complaints. it works very well, I like thatthe voicemail feature goes straight to speaker, and thespeaker feature overall is very easy to use, my old phonethe buttons were hard to press. it's small and very easy.

One of the three handsets did not have a working ear speaker. The speakerphone worked, but there was no sound if used as a had set against your ear. Not that big of a deal. Buy enough electronics and inevitably some of them will have problems. Panasonic's customer service was less than helpful. Also sadly inevitable. They wanted me to pay for shipping to send it to them for replacement. Why would I do that when I can return the defective unit to Amazon (or any other retailer for that matter.The replacement is working fine. I'll upgrade my rating if it's still working in a year.

Seems like a good phone however I bought it because it was supposed to have better signal strenght. I live in a highrise condo and signal strength is lost after only 45-50 feet, inside the condo. I have to stay within 35 feet to not lose a call.

I use this phone at my business as a pbx console extension. The phone has amazing range and voice quality is great as well. The display is good for us middle aged and elderly folks as the number font is large and easy to read. All in all a good phone. The only thing I would hope for is a lower price. I had bought a previous Panasonic dect phone back in 2006 (for $18) that served quite well given the knocks and falls it had suffered. It finally gave out and I bought this as a replacement. Can't really go wrong with Panasonic dect phones, imo.

This phone is ok for A basic phone. The two forts I have with it is. The round dial button you use to check CID and to redial numbers. It is tricky to maneuver when ur trying to use it. Plus there's no delete button. If you mess up on A number your dialing. You have to reenter the whole number instead of just eliminating the part you don't want.

I didn't realize how terrible my old phone was until we bought this one! I have nothing negative to say, except maybe it would be a bit better if it had a little bit more memory for storing phone numbers. Other than that, I really love this phone. Good looking and easy to use. Very happy with it.

So far I've had no problems with this phone. The sound quality of the speaker phone is very good. It's easy to add names and numbers to your phone book. Also, I've had the phone pretty far from the base and the call quality didn't deteriorate. My one complaint about this phone is that there's no ringer volume. Nevertheless, this is a good value for the price.

This has been a very good set, so far. My previous set began to have little battery life, and rather than replace batteries, we decided to get a new set. Although I do not like the fact that it does not have a blinking light to show messages (I have a voice-mail service rather than an answering machine), I am satisfied with the product.

This is superior to other similar products in same price range. this is little expensive to other brands but is definitely worth it. sound quality, display, battery life, buttons, shape.. all are excellent. Comes in a nice compact packing.

We needed an extra cordless phone, and this one was a good choice. We didn't need a base with 4 extra phones so commonly available. It's priced for simple operation and has helpful features we wanted without all the extras that we didn't. We continue to like Panasonic phones over the competitors - Vtech, ATT -- and would buy it again.

The rechargable battery that comes with this device is cheap, with low battery life. But I use some nonchargable battery, and the life is much longer. The rechargable battery can only sustain for about two days and then you have to charge it again. Other than that this phone works great and it is so cheap. The phone is light to grab and don't get hot after long calling. Like it.
