I bought this phone for my 83 year old mother for mother's day. Perfect. She can hear on phone. I can hear her great. No interferance. I have had some of the most pleasurable conversations that I have had with her in years. Highly reccommend. She loves it!

I spent a little extra money on the Panasonic over the V-Tech, because the latter looked a little flimsy. The sound quality on this phone is excellent, as is the range. I'm not sure the "eco" setting achieves anything that other phones don't automatically do as well. Doesn't any wireless phone use more energy as the signal weakens? But okay.The phone seems well made and the the menu is easy to navigate. My complaint is that the handset is a bit light in the hand, and also a bit thin. I haven't bought a new phone in a while, so this might be unavoidable with the latest generation of phones, but I thought the rubber grip would be a bit more substantial. It's really just a thin band.

I still have an ancient Panasonic portable phone that has great voice quality but I needed a portable for elsewhere in the house. I tried several different brands and they were all terrible: echoed, no range at all without lots of interfence, indistinct voice quality and if you turned it up, painful to the ear, really bad. So I ordered this Panasonic set and it is just as good as the old phone I like so much. yay.

The phone was extrememly easy to setup with no problems whatsoever!Handset speaker is clear and easy to hear since my wife has a hearing problem. Also we do not detect any static or interference from other devices. The streamline handset fits comfortably in the hand and does not feel like its a chore to hold. Would higly recommend to anyone wantng a good, dependendable cordless phone for a great price.

I generally despise cordless phones. They still sound way better than conversation-destroying cell phones, (especially the benchmark-for-awful AT&T / iPhone combo) but they are usually lousy compared to wired phones when it comes to audio quality. But sometimes I need to be mobile and the cordless phone / headset combo is a viable solution. This Panasonic is surprisingly good. There is little extra noise in the audio and the range is big even in my apartment building with its endless array of competing WIFI and other wireless signals. Another plus, the phone has relatively nice ring tones instead of some of the all-cheesiness-and-scary-clowns ring tones so prominent on other phones. Anyway I'll crawl back into my telephonic cave now - but this phone is really pretty good. There you have it.

These cordless phones (set of 2) are just what I wanted. I needed to have phones that I could easily use a headset with, so that I could walk around while talking without scrunching the phone between my head and shoulder, a habit that caused me a lot of difficulty and physical problems over time. These phones work really well. The clip allows me to attach the phone to a pocket or waistband, plug in a headset, and I'm in business. Audio quality is fine, features easy to use, and the price was great. No problems to report.

Really disappointing. The phone is lightweight. Easy to see push buttons. Easy to set up and one charge lasts a long time. But that may be because I don't talk on it! The reception is terrible. Static noise makes it impossible to hear with whom I am speaking. Although they say they can hear me fine.

The headset function on this phone doesn't work well. The battery isn't powerful enough allow a decent volume on the headset. It's built cheap and feels like a cheaply made product.I wouldn't recommend this product.

Found this set on sale for $69.99 CDN - regular $99.99. Fantastic deal is all I can say. Have used many Panasonics in the past and this is a definite upgrade from past models - even newer ones that I bought and then took back because I found the set up too complicated.Easy to set up. Fantastic battery life. Nice array of ring tones. Very well written manual - makes programming easy as pie. Voice quality is crystal clear and I have a voip phone ... so I can really tell if it isn't. I'm not huge on using all the features like call block etc., because I can do that online through my voip provider - but from what I hear it works well. Love the white LCD screen - makes seeing calls much easier - even without glasses on.If I had lots of money I'd pay the full $99 for it if I could. But I couldn't in the past. Luckily found it on sale - and now I'm thrilled!!! This particular model is for sure - one of the easier to use - and at it's midranged price - compared to it's higher models - delivers good bang and quality for the buck!

We bought this phone for ourselves a year ago after wasting money on four or five $1- to $15 dollar cordless phones which either required frequent charging or couldn't be used if more than 10 feet away from the base. We took it to my daughter's home to test it out; she lives in a remote area and had problems with phone reception.It worked wonderfully there as well so we bought her one for Christmas. Everyone is happy. I like the fact that you can tell when it gets close to needing recharging by checking the number of bars left. It is not easy to hold between ear and shoulder so we bought the headset for both ourselves and our daughter. Perfect.

You have to buy a phone to use the ooma VoIP system. I chose this one since it was cheap and it has a jack for a headset. It works great with a cheap headset. I believe the headset is the Panasonic KX-TCA60 headset but it doesn't have a label on it.

Charged the handsets as instructed. It worked out of the box for the first 4 hours. Then the hands free jack stopped working on one of the phones. An hour later the phone began cutting in and out like a cell phone in a bad reception area. I tried the other phone and the jack worked but the reception was just as bad. When I called the place I purchased it from I got a customer representative who sounded like I was distrubing her from something else. When I asked for a return authorization and a full refund, she told me she couldn't do that and that I would have to send an Email requesting this. She then asked me if I wanted the Email address. I asked her what she did if she couldn't give out RA numbers or refunds for returns and she told me her job is to give out the Email address. Sent the Email - got an auto return telling me they take 5 business days to provide an RA. Must be a lot of work to proived an RA number. I feel bad that I'm putting them through such pain. It's been 3 days, can't wait for day 5 so I can get this crap out of my house.

We don't have anything bad to say about the Panasonic phones. They are lightweight, which is great as our other two phones are not. I like the fact that they use 2 rechargeable AAA batteries rather than the $20+ batteries my old phones use. We haven't used the speaker phone feature or attached a head phone so can't comment on that. However, the reception on the phones crisp even though the base is in the far reaches of our house and not centerally located. We especially like the fact that when you enter an address in the address book or delete a call, the phone automatically performs that same function on the other phone. In fact we are thinking of buying another two phones. Also, the buttons are big enough and light up and the digital display is big enough too.

I highly recommend the Panasonic KX-TG6513B DECT 6.0 What a phone!!!! The features will blow your mind I have 3 handsets, it allowed me to set the handset in my bedroom to not ring from such time to such time, the one in my office to stop ringing after 10:00 PM and one in the in the living room after midnight. If you have a caller Id it spells out loud the calling number so that when you are away from your phone you can tell who is calling. It allows you to block unwanted numbers so that the person or business will never be able to reach you from that number again... these are just few great features it have many more like intercom, belt clip, etc....This is an excellen Phone!!

Works fine. Good sound quality. Good range(single family block construction), took it 75-100 feet away and still was acceptable. Nice large letter display, very easy to read. A little expensive for what you get.

Great sound quality & an easy to read display come with this reasonably priced phone. I've got the base unit wall-mounted downstairs, and the second unit upstairs. Both units provide clear reception. My mom even bought one after using ours.

I purchased this phone about a month ago and have had no complaints as of yet. Works well indoors and call quality is very clear. The menu can be a bit cumbersome to navigate but the screen size on the phone is good and reading the display is no problem. Battery life is pretty good too. I don't use the phone everyday but I only charge it once a week or so. My only complaint is that the phone does not come with a handsfree headset so I used an old one from one of my cell phones and that seems to work fine.

The range and quality on this phone set is incredible. I live in a house that is part stone and has thick plaster walls yet there is no issue with reception. I have one lan line phone wire and that's it in a 3600 square foot house. The phone remembers my local voicemail access number including passwords. It has an intercom. All functions are intuitive. Great set. Highly recommended.

I have used Uniden all the previous years, and after reviewing the reviews of other satisfied customers, I thought I would try this one. I love it, and found it easy to set up and maintain. The batteries on both phones would not hold a charge, so I replaced all four of them, for about $13.00 and it is now perfect! I will stay with Panasonic from now on. I highly recommend it.

I searched for weeks and shopped and researched several cordless phone brands, at several stores and at mulitple websites before deciding to purchase this phone. I received this phone set today and was initially disappointed at the cheap flimsy appearance of the phone upon opening the box. I was willing to overlook that flaw and proceeded to set the phone for use. I was exited to use the talking caller ID that was advertised as a feature. Needless to say that I was shocked and stunned to find out that this phone DOES NOT have the talking caller ID feature as advertised. I paid extra for the 'Talking Caller ID' feature as there were many other less expensive phones (VTech, AT&T, Uniden, etc.) that would have been satisfactory. I thought I would splurge and get a 'new fun feature'. NOT! The phone is being returned as 'product not as advertised' with prepaid shipping from Amazon.Update Oct 11, 2010The product description has been corrected. Talking Caller ID no longer indicated as a feature on this phone.

These phones seem to be really nice quality. They were priced well; I was looking for a nice set of phones for under $50 and these fit the bill. They have all sorts of features including call blocking, multiple ring tones and ring tone melodies. The speaker phone feature sounds clear and crisp as does the regular hand set. One of the coolest features as far as I'm concerned is the use of standard AAA rechargeable batteries instead of some unusual battery pack like most use. This way when the batteries begin to not hold a charge in a few years it's super easy to replace them and fairly inexpensive. The range is really good on these things too. I can go anywhere in my house and the sound is crystal clear and the phone never leaves ECO mode which is a mode where the transmitter in the phone works on lower power when the phones are near enough to the base; the feature saves power. The phones were really easy to program too. Very intuitive menu and a nice, large display that shows the date and time when the phone is not in use.

This phone package is a very nice deal. The phones themselves are especially nice and offer superior sound quality and ease of use.The only "cons" are:- The base unit looks like hell when mounted on a wall. One of the screws used to mount the unit to the wall is fully visible after installation - a problem that could have been solved by a 2 cent cover that either slid or snapped in place. A well cut piece of Gorilla duct tape fixed that issue, but that shouldn't be necessary.- It seems like the highest volume setting (ear piece and speaker phone) should be louder. It's "adequate" for me, though many older people will likely not find that to be the case.Overall, though, this is probably the best packaged phone set on the market and I highly recommend it.

Replaced an aging Uniden phone system and I'm quite pleased. I especially like the feature that allows the user to block unwanted phone calls from the CID.The other feature I value is that whatever is programmed into the main set, the others automatically receive the data.

Our second panasonic phone. First one we still have and it's worked perfectly for five years. This phone is even easier to use. Bought it because I needed a second handset to live in a back room with no phone jack and didn't need an answering machine. Good phone, good price.

The Panasonic Phone is one of the best cordless phones I have had. I have a rather large back yard and I am able to use the phone quite a distance from the "home base". This was also one of the easiest phones to program and set up. I highly recommend it.

They have a great battery life, useful features (intercom, large print on the phone displays, CID), and most importantly, they are reliable.It's expandable to allow for more phones if necessary.If you need to upgrade yours/a family members land line phone, get this system.

Although the web site lists the manufacturers product description, this phone system does NOT have the talking caller ID. The manual clearly states which (higher end) models offer this. Only the phones that have an answering machine (base unit) can do this. This phone does not have an answering machine. Aside from that, the phone is incredible. Although now I have to pack it all up and send it back to Amazon, I re ordered the correct model, which was only a few bucks more, to get the talking caller ID which I think is awesome, especially if you've just sat down for dinner and the phone rings, now you're told who the caller is before you get up from the table. A best buy from Consumers Report.

Good quality phone. It is equipped with compfort grip rubber, speaker on handset, and regular rechargable batteries (included)! I bought this phone as a spare & can't stop using it. It has an indicator on the screen "echo" which conserves battery power if you are close to the base (within 20 feet or so) and 1 or 2 hours of straight talking does not even phase the battery! It also has a a 2.5mm jack to plug in a headset/microphone "awesome". It was a great buy for me $28.00 used, & it was in perfect condition! Thanx, S.W. from Pennsylvania...:)

After I thought I had found the perfect DECT 6.0 cordless phone with an excellent speakerphone and rechargeables AA batteries, now I'm frustrated.The phone worked excellent on the first month, but, on the second month, one handset completely lost its ringer and speaker when use it on handsfree and the other one, it sound very distorted when use on handsfree. However, both of them still sounds very good on its ear speakers.I don't recommend this item, because it's quality is very poor.

Phone was easy to set up. I liked the fact that information only needed to be programmed into one handset and it transferred to the other. It is much lighter than the phone I had. So far the phone has been good but have only had it for a short time.

The units were easy to set up. When you program your address book into one unit, it provides that information to all units. Voice quality is good. The units feel good in your hand. The keypad is sure and provides good tactile feedback. The screen displays large clear numbers and operational status. Nice programming features. Good quality - Good functionality - Ease-of-use - Three handsets, all at a great price.

This is a great set of phones. They have clear sound quality and a large LCD screen. I especially like that you can use the intercom feature to call other phones in the house (very helpful when trying to call the family to dinner). It does not have a talking caller ID feature as mentioned, but still a great phone.

My wife and I loved the block caller feature. We're on just about all the "no call" list there is, but seem to still get repeated charity calls wanting money. Not any more! By the way, the voice quality and display on this phone is also great. Took a while to learn all the features and I'm not sure if I have them all down now or not. But what can I say, don't like reading manuals very much...
