Великолепно

I was looking for a phone for my home office. And I didn't need anything with a lot of bells and whistles. Just a headset. In researching a good phone without an answering machine that came with a headset, there actually weren't a lot of choices. But this is an excellent phone.

This phone replaced a shock & water resistant Panasonic. The improvement in tone and range is dramatic. Most features and menu access are similar. However, this phone has a button to access the phonebook and a Caller ID access button that are in a different place than the old phone and it throws you off at first. Also, those features are a bit less easy to use than the previouis Panasonic phones I've used. But given the tone quality and the range, its a good trade off. The speaker phone functionality is excellent.

I have owned numerous Panasonic cordless phones over the years and have never been disappointed. This purchase is NOT an exception to the rule. Easy to read face, good range, and no answering machine ( a must since I have VM from my phone provider). Set up was fast and simple, if you've had Panasonic in the past- easy even without previous product experience. Love the call block feature!I can't say enough good things about this phone!

I went to Walmart and tried three different phones; none of which worked properly. This Panasonic phone is flawless. Inexpensive and works better than phones that cost twice as much. Three Thumbs Up!!

We have only had it for a week, but they are working great and the batteries seem to need less charging than our old Panasonics we replaced. The sound quality isn't as good as our old one, but I have some hearing problms and I can still hear everything on the other end just fine. Overall, I say this is a good phone for a great price.

I have always been a fan of Panasonic phones. For this model: not so much.Pros:slim, sleek designlarge easy to read numbers/letterscaller number block featureCons:terrible hissing static sound makes phone calls impossible to toleratecodes needed to change everything from number of rings to answering system functions. (you have to have the manual handy unless you want to memorize literally dozens of codes....ex: press menu # 3 0 3 etc etc)talking caller ID butchers even simple names, making it difficult to know who is calling unless you view the caller ID. in other words, the feature is useless.This was not a "cheap" phone so I thought it meant it would be a quality product. I will be returning it pronto.

This phone was given to me as a gift before a big move but I didn't end up getting home phone service until about a year after I received it. After getting home phone service a few days ago I finally took it out of the box and plugged it in. Nothing. The base seems to work fine but the handset is dead. I called Panasonic and was told I could sent it back to them and pay $80 for them to fix it since the warranty had expired. I asked if this was a joke but they said there was nothing they could do for me. I realize this was probably a fluke but the customer service was terrible and it was broken before the first use! I wouldn't chance another purchase with panasonic.This afternoon I bought a new Vtech cordless from Target for $20 and it works great!

I am thoroughly impressed with this phone. I have owned two 'cheaper' cordless phones in the past ($19.95 each) and both died within a year and were subject to interference. This phone features the DECT 6.0 PLUS signal processing technology and interference and noise are non-existent. We have used this type of phone at my business for years (the oldest has been in hard use for 8 years) and they have been dropped, scratched, and abused, yet they keep on working. The range is outstanding, and the large black on white display is easy on the eyes. My only gripes are very minor. The owners manual might seem over-complicated to some and the claim that it 'cradles' easily might be optimistic. It accepts a headset and I will purchase one in the future and review it. A HUGE positive is the included belt clip. At work and at home, this is a solid, reliable high quality phone.

With the volume turned all the way up and the room quiet otherwise I can barely hear anything. The old phones, under the same conditions were set at about mid range on the volume. There is also an echo when using these phones that is very annoying. I would not recommend these.

Panasonic support is helpful, but not good at explaining issues. When one presses to get missed calls, one gets all calls in queue, even those answered - could not get clear explanation from support. This is annoying and can be confusing. Likewise, the option to hang on wall is problematic. I replaced an old phone and the new fixation points are closer together than the old one (the older original standard I presume). Requires rewiring/replacing jack or at least faceplate -- my face place contains the jack insert and is wired, so I will have to replace wired faceplate to hang on wall. Original faceplate mounts 4"; this phone 3-3/4". Also, need to dial "1", another annoyance -- my older cell phone has incorporated "1" automatically when number entered. When entering a number in phone book, can incorporate the "1", but must dial it with manual number entry.

Love the phones, works great. I got a referral from a friend who owns a business and gets like 200 calls a day and puts his equipment through some wear and tear. When my 4 year old Uniden phones started to go I talked to him and he said he loved these phones. My uniden cordless phones never really had good reception so I figured I would try something else and since my friend has gone through a few cordless phones I'd see what he had to say. The reception is very good and battery life is great. No setup at all, just plugged in and all 3 cordless phones worked. Very happy with it.

I had a vTech similar telephone, with a base set and an extension. It worked well, but the speakerphone had the echo thing, and after five years, the buttons began to get flakey. I'd press one number and it would go in twice, and on the extension, had to press really hard to make them work.So, looked for phones and there were a lot, but this one was well rated, so I ordered a base phone and one extension set. If is difficult to add much to all the praise of the five-star ratings, as I agree with everything written.The features were a little different, but much more intuitive, the large screen and buttons were really helpful, and it was much easier to enter contacts to the phonebook than any other phone I had.The thing that blew my mind was that the extension, once registered, had the same time and date and all the phonebook entries, as well as duplicating the redial and Caller ID numbers that is on the base phone. With the old phone, I had to enter contacts on each one.After a month, my wife and I both liked these so much, we ordered another extension phone for her studio. Again, once registered, all the data went to that phone too. Way cool!I tried hard, but I'm sorry, I can't find anything wrong with it. I have a very nice Bang & Olufsen phone that looks like a piece of sculpture, but the Panasonic is even better than that very expensive one.

This phone is very nice - especially when paired with the Plantronics headset. The call quality is good and the phone is easy to use. I do wish it had the ability to mute the ringer, though.

Good basic phone for the price. Does everything I want except auto voicemail access a problem. It cannot accept enough digits and pauses to get to voice mail using my password - therefore only semi-automatic. It is nice to have up to 50 telephone numbers in phone directory, but I find it cumbersome to bring some of them up - requires me to scroll through some.

Actually had to switch BACK to our OLD V-Tech phones cause the Panasonic suuuuucked soooo bad. Can't hear them, speaker worthless.... sorry, phones need to have excellent speakers, volume, etc..... Why is this so hard?? None of the phones I've used have been decent on all fronts.

My wife and I are both a little hard of hearing. We need to keep the volume up to hear someone speak to us. The only problem with these phones is that the person calling inbound can hear themselves talking or maybe a feed back of their own voice which is very distracking. My son told me about it one time when he called, and so one time as I was out of town and called my wife I heard the same thing which was my own voice as I spoke.

We recently moved to a two story apartment that must have lead in the walls. Our wireless internet router (2.4GHz), our baby monitor (90 MHz), and our cordless phone (Uniden 5.8 GHz), none of them would work on both floors of the apartment. I replaced our cordless phone with this Panasonic KX-TG6512B, and it works GREAT! The sound and reception is perfect on both floors. I work from home, so I'm on conference calls at least two hours a day. The mute button works great, the earpiece works great, and the battery lasts several days without recharging.

The phone had all features just as advertuised. One down side is the ontacts menu takes two seconds to show up. Its not a big let down though. Call quality is great. I dont use the phone outside my home so cannot speak about range. Build quality is good. If you dont desire an answering machine option, this phone is for you!

I purchased this phone for my aging mother who will be coming in soon to live with me. In the mean time I have been getting acquainted with the phone which is quite easy to set up. The clarity is outstanding and function keys on phone works well. The range is excellent and for the money I think that it is a best buy.

Eager to replace my hodge podge collection of phones with an up to date coordinated system. This one certainly did not disappoint me.It was an easy, straight forward set up. I like the style and size of the units.The range is excellent---can take it outside for a good distance and still have service.Battery life seems good but haven't really pushed it---always return handsets to the cradles.Very pleased with the product.

Great phones at a reasonable price. When you have a new voice mail, "New Voice Mail" is shown on the LCD and the charging indicator light on the top of the phone is blinking. Nice feature. The phones have great clarity and range and are easy to set up/program. The only thing I wish they had that they do not is a speed dial feature. That would be a nice addition.

My review is only based on having used for a single call to test it. I purchased it for the times when I am on my telephone with a cord and head-set when I need to leave my home office such as if there is somebody at the door. This is why I have not yet tested it's range from the base. My other cordless telephones of 2.4GHz allow me to use it from a neighbor's home. If this one has more range that may or may not be beneficial. I do not know yet. It is my understanding that this is a much better cordless telephone than my 2.4GHz one but that wouldn't really surprise me.

The listing for this phone is close to deceitful. When I went back I realized how to read the listing. This listing is designed to sell a family of phones. As a result the answering machine feature and the blue tooth feature is listed in the ad. I find it misrepresentitive to list features which the phone does not have. It is like saying "The phone has an answering system" ONLY if there is a check on this page. If there is no answering system, then those words should not be on the page at all. Ditto with the blue tooth. This system does NOT offer bluetooth, there is a footnote to point out that that feature is for a different (not part of this system) phone.I'm disappointed that Amazon has allowed a listing that has to be read so carefully.

After trying three other brands of phones I finally found a system that works for me. I have a VoIP system and either the router or modem was causing the other phones to malfunction. I was missing calls, sometimes the phone upstairs would work and the one downstairs was dead, or the other way around. Since I installed the Panasonic system I've had 0 problems. I heard about this model in an electronic chat room that dealt with interference problems.If anyone is having trouble with interference from your router or modem don't make the same mistakes I did a purchase new routers and modems. Also three other brands of phones 6.0 that advertised no interference.Just buy the Panasonic KX-TG6512B and you will be satisfied.

Purchased these based on customer reviews and the need to replace an older Uniden set, with key pads that finally went defective!! Very good performance and range, but doesn't quite match the Uniden for top volume level. A family member has hearing aids, and these phones are not as loud. Does have a very vibrant, easy-to-read display. Also, not that hard to setup and the fact of using standard AAA rechargeable batteries is a big plus! Will recommend to anyone desiring a top-quality set of phones.

this was purchased to replace a 3 set panisonic phones that after 3 years and a replacement would cut off. This set has a very loud background hum noise that makes it difficult to hear. I purchase this model becase it was the top rated comsumer reports cordless phone. that is not my experience. Today I call the company to find a solution to the problem. Her reply was it was my phone line. At least the previous phone did not hum. Why would the phone line be affected as soon as I began using this phone? Very frustrated with this product and company would not recommend a panisonic phone!

As replacements for older Uniden cordless models, these Panasonic phones feel better to the hand, have larger easier to read numerals and display screens and are intuitively programed. Call quality is excellent and they use standard AAA rechargable batteries. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I just purchased this phone to replace a 5 year old Panasonic phone that was outdated. This new phone is good..except I find the sound/volume not as high as my old Panasonic. It should definitely allow you to go 2 bars more for talk volume. The speaker phone volume level is higher than the "talk" volume level. I think I might send it back. I want to hear the person I am speaking to (they say they hear me fine). A bit disappointed with the volume level but all else is good.
