i purchased this phone to work with the alarm system. It has bad static and I only keep it because we don't use the phone much.

They work great, but i would not buy these for my parents. Their hearing is not what it used to be and the buttons are small for them. I feel the volume is just shy of what I need at times. Never had a functional problem or battery problem.

It's a good phone at a great price. I would recommend it. It has a call block feature which is a neat addition to Panasonic. The previously owned Panasonic didn't have this feature, so that's a plus.

It's a Panasonic phone, you will always expect quality from them and they sure deliver that. This phone was purchased solely for a MagicJack and it works great

I bought these to replace my existing phones because the remote handset on my old phone had poor reception & voice quality. The Panasonic solved this problem beautifully; the remote handset is about 60 feet from the base handset. It also has more memory for stored numbers (50) and a speakerphone feature, both of which were lacking on my previous phones. I am very happy with these phones. The manual is clear, making it very easy to set up & program the phones.

I had the three phone version of this phone, but lightning strike on the phone line blew it up. Just needed to replace the base station and re-register the old phones with the new base, and I am back to normal with an extra handset.The range is excellent with this system. I can roam around the property (about an acre) with no loss in quality.I wish my wifi had such good coverage!!It also uses normal AAA NiMH batteries-- not specialty batteries that are typically outrageously priced as other phone handsets are. (Of course NiMH aren't exactly the cheapest batteries, but are the most appropriate and durable for this use!)I have historically had great luck with panasonic phones.

I needed to replace a VTech cordless phone whose battery had expired. The cost of replacing the battery pack on the VTech phone was not cost effective. The batteries on the Panasonic phone are (2) AAA rechargeable cells so are readily replaceable when at the end of their charge/discharge cycle life. I replaced the Panasonic batteries with Sanyo Eneloop Ready To Use Rechargeable batteries for a nominal expense. The Eneloop batteries are a cost effective upgrade from the Panasonic stock batteries. The key features of the phone are the keypad (good tactile response and good visibility with white back light), nice white lighted display (good visibility even from a distance while in the base unit!), good menu functions, good sound quality on both talk and receive, light weight without the bulky (3) cell battery pack and ease of setup and use. I was using the phone within 15 minutes of removing it from its packaging with the ready to use Eneloop batteries! Just about all the settings are left at their default, except for ringer volume and a few other functions. The charging base has a small footprint and will fit in tight places without a loss of functionality. Hookup is basic, you have your output plug from the power converter that is plugged into a 120VAC receptacle, and your telco phone line input to the base unit. That's it and you're ready to rock and roll! Need to replace an existing cordless phone, or get your first cordless phone? You can't go wrong for the price! These phones are also expandable with additional units and use the 1.6GHz band for improved range and negligible interference from/with other devices.

I purchased this phone due largely to the headset jack. I am on a lot of conference calls for work, and there are not that many regular phones out with the headset jack.The jack died in 2 months. When I contacted Panasonic, they said I had to return the phone and they would ship a refurbished unit.So now, I will wind up with: - Needing to buy a replacement phone while this one gets repaired. - A refurbished unit in exchange for an almost new one. - Shipping charges.

I am a telephone operator and work from home. I needed a phone with headset capabilities, but could not afford the 2 handset ones in the store, that I need for a 8 hour work day. Saw this one at this excellent price and 1 day it held out for work of 15 hours straight. Excellent phone. I just hope the batteries to recharge it dont cost a fortune. I would recommend this for anyone. The dial tone is slow, but it stills dials and that is all I need.

Got these for our small business. They are working fine; sound is good and they are easy to use. Wish the electrical cords were a bit longer as we don't have a lot of electrical outlets.

I sent it back due to the proor sound quality, confusing buttons... I didn't like it at all. Surprised because Panasonic name is usually ok but anymore you never know about quality because these companies don't maintain quality control.

This phone base unit died on October 15. It was shipped to me on Sept 11. I got it on Sept 13, charged it and put it into use on Sept 14.On October 14, the return period expired.I'm stuck with a useless phone, and I can't wait for this phone to get to Texas and then for an unknown length of time for Panasonic to repair or send me another phone. So, I'm going out to buy a new phone and write of the $69.99 as a total waste of money.

This set has a decent speakerphone, a primary factor for us, and is easy to program. It's a little quirky when it comes to adjusting settings. The sound quality is not as good as I expected. Good value, though.

These are the best cordless phones I've ever purchased. I would recommend them to anyone. I only wish I had bought the next version up. Mine does not have a built in answering machine.

Just got this last week thru Amazon. Phone seems to be a pretty nice cordless phone. I just wanted something that had good reception when away from the base and also better volume when talking on the phone in a semi noisy room. Well one out of two isnt too bad, I guess. The volume cannot be adjusted but so much and that STILL isnt enough for my hearing. I guess the manufactory didnt take into account that some (older) people may be a little hearing impaired and need extra VOLUME. In fact, all phones should have this important feature on them****Plz note that the last time my hearing was checked everything was fine with both ears!***

Honestly it's a cordless phone. Given the one it is replacing the bar was set pretty low so it is working out just fine.
