I bought this phone to replace another phone that had seen it's days. Was rated as a Consumer Report best buy. I also know Panasonic is a good brand. So far I am pleased with the sound quality; I like the speakerphone feature. My only complaint so far is that there is no speed dial. I also love that you don't have to program your phone directory into every phone (as my old one you had to). So far, I am very, very happy with these phones. Have had them over a month now and no complaints. Not rating 5 stars yet, due to the lack of speed dial and length of time I have had the phones. Otherwise, quite pleased.

We needed an additional phone on our Panasonic four-phone setup and we wanted one that had a jack so a headset could be plugged in for hands-free use. As it turns out, many of the Panasonic phones have this jack. Perfect! Uniden, V-tech and several other of the major brands do not. Surely it can't add that much more to the cost of the phone to have a simple headset jack. This phone fits our needs well and we're very satisfied customers. I guess the only minor complaint is that the mic is almost too sensitive - just sit and talk, if you try to do anything else, the mic will pick it up and amplify the sound to the person with whom you're talking - Crinkling candy wrapper? Pouring a glass of water? Those kind of things can really annoy others... Highly recommended phone at a reasonable price.

I might as well add my voice to the chorus of positive reviews. We have an earlier model Panasonic with answering feature that gives flawless service. Panasonic seems to be way out in front of other consumer telephone vendors on price and features and quality, so when our old ATT non-answering wireless (static-filled...I should have booted it years ago) finally died, I didn't have to think twice about what brand would replace it. This latest version of wireless phones by Panasonic continues to burnish their image.

We already had a primary corded phone with an answering machine, but needed to replace our cordless phone set in the kitchena and family room. These phones were the perfect replacement. Volume on the headset is sufficient for both my husband and I (and he has some hearing difficulty). The setup to store telephone numbers in the phone was easy - and once you set it up on one phone, the second phone has the same info automatically stored. Another helpful feature is the speaker phone option - handy if you are placed on "music hold"! This was exactly what we wanted, and at a good price.

This is far best the best cordless phone I have owned.... I have tried used them all, and I have found Panasonic is the best for reception/ features!!!Didn't want an answering Machine as I use voicemail and you pay for it when buying a phone system with it!!!! This phone beat out my last $200 Panasonic phone (with ans. machine) for reception, and features!!!!!Call Block Awesome!!!!! Night mode..... Awesome!!!! Set up voicemail right on the phone..... AWESOME!!!!Reception is clear...... If caller Id is cleared.... the phone will alert you visually that you have a message waiting (blink). if not, it will tell you on the screen.... The screen is big.... I mean big.... perfect for someone with vision problems.Just very happy with my purchase..... and its about $20-$25.00 cheeper on Amazon.... so buy it here!!!

This phone is exactly what I could NOT find at any local store (best buy, etc) for under 100. It is a great price and works wonderful for a home office! Those of us who do phone work and still need a land line and a headset, this phone is it! I wanted to take the time to review this as I have searched so many places for a phone that has exactly what this phone has (and you get two bases and two phones).....headset jack, mute button and speaker phone! Perfect for anyone working at home! Buy this product.

Read other reviews and have to say they were correct....for the money these phones are everything you need. The black-on-white display, large display characters and lighted buttons make it even easy to read for those of us who need 'reader glasses'. Simple to set-up and just as easy to use......great sound and clarity.

I have had no issues with this phone it has worked perfectly. It uses regular AAA rechargable batteries that will be easy to replace when that time comes so I anticipate having this phone for a long time. Also, it is expandable if I need to add more phones.

This is a no muss, no fuss phone. If you just want to get the job done - call people, screen calls, and have ease of use, this is your phone. I haven't dove into any of the intricacies of the telephone, but supposedly it does a lot more than just facilitate a phone call. It has a decent battery life, and I don't get a "battery low" indicator like I did on my old phone, if I left it off the charger or talked too long. Price is right, too.

We wanted a set of 3 cordless phones without an answering machine (since we already have one). The 3 Panasonic cordless phones are lightweight yet easy to grip, volume and coverage around the house are perfect. Caller ID info is large and clear. The circular push-button controls to locate prior caller info and other phone features are a little confusing, but we rarely have a need to use them, and the directions booklet was clear, no big deal.We're very happy with this purchase and would recommend the phones to anyone.

We had to purchase new phones when the recent storm knocked ours out. I had this same phone for about 2 years and loved them so much we bought the same ones to replace it. Doesn't interfere with my fax machine or any other electrical device in the house, which I know can happen. We bought an extra phone so my daughter could have one of her own. She likes the intercome feature. She calls us from her playroom when she wants a glass of milk. So far she hasn't gotten any milk, but she keeps trying.

i can program this phone so that it does not ring between 9;30 p.m. and 9;00 a.m. One drawback,though, is when i want to control the ringer volume,i have to go through many steps. But over all this is just THE best phone and it cured my phone addiction. i also love their speaker phone feature and the headset jack option,the sound is very clear and works really well for me because i either put it on the speakerphone or put on a headset when i have to call some company's customer service( it is going to be a long call)

Bought this KX-TG6512B DECT 6.0 PLUS to replace a similar 2-phone cordless (5.8 GHz)from Panasonic that was acting up after ten years. Setup was pretty easy, and the phones give quite remarkable sound and range with a surprising bunch of options I hadn't expected in such a modestly-priced set. Love the call-blocking feature and the new display. My only complaint is that my old set had nine speed-dial settings, and this has none. To get to someone, I have to get into the phone book and proceed from there. Not that hard, but the speed dial was great, thoughtless, instantaneous access. I'd buy it again...unless I found the same thing with speed dial.

I bought this Panasonic Phone System after investigating telephone systems in Consumer Reports. This was one of the highest rated systems overall. I'm extremely happy with my choice. After calling several retail outlets, I was unable to find this product that wasn't sold out and on backorder or simply not available. I then contacted Panasonic direct to find out that it was on backorder and would not be available for an unknown period of time. I then contacted Amazon and they did not disappoint me. They had the Panasonic system I wanted in stock and it was at a price less costly than the other contacts. I find that on many products Amazon not only will have the item, but it will usually be less expensive to order it through them. I will always try Amazon first in my future purchases.

Very happy with this set of three Panasonic phones. Didn't need an answering machine, so this was a good option that is not always available. Phones were easy to set up. Nice feature that when you program the primary phone with saved numbers it also programs the other 2. Readout is easy to read even without my reading glasses!! Maintains charge for very long time. Haven't lost a charge yet and have left phone off the charging base for a day or 2. Can't go wrong for the price.

Ring Ring. I push the talk button and say "herro herro, how can I help you" and someone talks back to me on the other end of the phone. This other person's voice is so clear....as if he was standing next to me talking. I start walking (since this is a cordless phone) and this person's voice is still as loud as if he was following me.

I've had this phone for two weeks now and am pretty happy with it. The unit comes with a swivel piece on the back of the base that allows you to keep it on a table or wall mount it - very convenient. The call quality is good. The volume of the ringer, the phone itself, and the speakerphone (which is in the phone unit, not the base) are adequate. I did have a "no power to base" error on the phone that required me to reconnect the phone to the base for no particular reason. I'm glad I saved the instruction manual, otherwise this would have been more of an issue than it was.

This phone worked wonderfully for three months, but then it just stopped working. It says that my phone line is not connected----but it is. Tried everything---it refuses to work. I'll call Panasonic to see if they will repair it.I wish I had my old cheap $10.00 cordless back.Called Panasonic, they corrected one phone by telling us how to go to the menu and what numbers to enter. The second phone has to be sent to their repair facility.UPDATE: Sony replaced the defective phone and they both work fine now.

My previous Panasonic phone was a terrific phone, but there was an accident, it broke and I wanted the same type of phone (this had gotten great reviews). This one has 2 handsets and didn't really need both - but boy, am I ever glad it came with two - besides the fact that this one was cheaper than my original purchase of a similar phone with only one handset. Love the features it offers.

Purchased the Panasonic three unit phone system about a month ago. Am generally pleased with its quality and features.It does have a few shortcomings though. They include a very slow dial system, the location of the message waiting light which is on the back of the phone and not easily noticeable, and the inability to contact multiple stations on the intercom network.All in all, and pleased with the purchase and feel that it was a good value at its price point.

The range of these phones seems to fall off pretty quick.We have a generally open floor plan with plenty of open air between rooms and even then, the range of these (without static and noise) is pretty bad. Nowhere near what we were expecting. Our 5 GHZ phones seem to perform better than these.Going to hold onto them for now because the room to room intercom features are pretty good. We also like the form factor of the devices. But again, if you're relying on these phones for clear, clean connectivity, these might not be the ones you want.

I returned this phone immediately. Despite having several other working cordless phones in the house with no interference, this one had constant static from day one. Tried unplugging routers and moving to other parts of house to no avail. Returned within a week.

I badly needed a replacement for our old and dying cordless system. We have the digital answering system from the phone company, so we did not need a machine. Good luck finding anything without an answering machine in stores. I knew they had to make something and found this on Amazon. Simple to use an navigate. Call quality is excellent, even out in the garage.

I am never disappointed with this phone. The call quality is good and the battery life seems to be good as well. It also seems to charge quickly. I frequently use the speakerphone feature and have been happy with the volume level it provides. The quality is good and I would recommend this product to others.

Basically what you'd expect in a phone. I like that they have a clip and can use a head set. They have a better range than prior phones I've used. I do feel that it takes a few extra steps to get to caller id etc than I'd like but nothing earth shaking.

This phone system works great! I connected it to my phone line with another phone system that has an answer machine still in place. The 2 systems work very well together. It's especially nice to have a spare cordless handset that we can put anywhere in the house. Audio is very clear and each handset has lots of features. I am very pleased.

My previous system had wierd, hard-to-find batteries. This system uses off the shelf batteries and that is a big plus.I especially enjoy the feature to block unwanted telephone callers. We are all indundated by calls from vendors to expand services, political groups and various charitable enterprises. Once they are identified and entered into the "blocked calls" feature all we hear is one ring. All they hear is a busy signal.In retrospect I wish I had opted for the built-in answering machine but that was my oversight and I use the TV cable company's voice mail.

Buy this phone if you're not looking for anything fancy. The volume on the headset is a bit low even at its loudest option. Also the phone ringer is very very low, so if you are in a noisy environment it would be very difficult to hear when the phone rings. Panasonic needs to allow a louder ringer. Reception is quite good. Design is sleek. Would only recommend this if you would be using it in a very quiet environment and looking for something basic and cheap.
