I specifically wanted a 3 handset set. These phones are easy to use and the sound quality is good. I do wish the bases were heavier but that may be a personal opinion.

I always buy panasonic phones. I've used them for years and I find that they are the best phones on the market. This phone is no exception. It works great and has a long battery life. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great house phone.

We've had these phones for a few weeks now.They were simple to use: just plug in and go (they did need to charge up overnight first).Voice quality is good. Ring tones are nice.It's a phone, pure and simple.

I bought this phone set because only Panasonic makes cordless phones with headset jacks. Within a few months, one handset started making an annoying squeal when I tried using the headset. First I thought it was the headset, so I replaced that 2 - 3 times. The problem continued it the phone that we use more often (stationed downstairs in the main living area). Then I started using the other handset, which worked for a couple of months. Now they both don't work. I just bought a new headset today and I get the same annoying noise when I place a call. Amazon only gives a one month return on this, so I called the company. I have to pay shipping to return the phones and they may replace them.

I purchased these phones two years ago. I was happy with them, but have been told by my service provider (Verizon) Panasonic has a reputation for slowing down the DSL line when several are plugged in. I'm proving this to be true now that two of them are no longer functional. My DSL line speed has gone up 40 mbps. I'm no engineer and haven't a clue as to why. I had a set of five around the house. In addition, if you didn't pick it up, two are dead. The batteries are still fine, but for one reason or another one won't connect with the charger (it charges but won't talk to it) and the phone clicks off about 30 seconds after you dial a number. The other phone heated up and is so hot you can't touch the phone. I purchased new batteries, but they had no effect. I am going to the store today to purchase replacements. I sure won't look at Panasonic.

This system works well. I placed one on my main floor and the other in the basement. I've taken my basement phone outside and it's very clear. This phone does have a speaker option which I was surprised at because I'm sure it said that this model didn't come with it. Extra bonus!

Our old cordless system was constantly buzzing or had issues with call quality. All our wire line quality issues disappeared when I connected this system. Also the battery life has been outstanding!

Just a quick note, better reviews than mine out there on this phone. No complaints about this phone at all. It does seem to be able to pick up all noise, around me, washing machine, dog whining to play with the ball, anyone on the other line can easily figure it out.

I bought two of these cordless phones, one of them stopped working and showed "Base no power", the other one is working fine until now but i still wonder when its going to give up like the other one. If it works for a good 2 years and goes out i can understand that, but after a month... not so good. Product has decent features, but durability wise... a disappointment!

I purchased this phone system because it had the feature of blocking unwanted calls----means you do not have to pay AT&T. It has an alarm feature which works great. It also has an energy saving feature to conserve battery output. The batteries are much easier to find and to install---they look like AAA batteries but of course are special AAA Batteries. Took me a while to figure my way around the menu ( I am 68 )it was do-able. The only negative thing is the ringer could be a bit louder or one with higher pitch---do not always hear it. I really love them.

I didn't realize how good a cordless phone could be. The battery life is amazing. I can't believe how long I tortured myself with a Uniden that had to be on charger every night. This phone is one that I can charge it and forget it. I have yet to accidentally let it run flat.

I've had no problems with these phones, including set up. I don't need a lot of fancy features, so if that's what you want, maybe this phone isn't for you. But if you want easy to use and reliable phones, these are a good buy.

This cordless phone is very bad,when you dial out you don't here a ring from the number you dial,some times it does not ring for incoming calls.I would not recormend this cordless phone to anyone.The manual that came with the phone does not have any information about this model.Panasonic KX-TG6511B DECT 6.0 PLUS Expandable Digital Cordless Phone, Black, 1 Handset( July 22,2012,I just went to the panasonic web site to get help for my cordless phone that I wrote about above,and they asked for the model number, I put the number in and they said it was wrong,so I checked my order history to look at the model number and it is not even the phone I thought I was sent. People check your products that you order to make sure you get what you are paying for. The model number on the phone is KX-TGA652 thats why there is no info on the manual.

I bought this on August 17, 2011. One of the handsets died two months ago. The unit wouldn't hold a charge at all. I bought replacement batteries (the 'genuine' replacements) and it turned out it wasn't the batteries.The base unit died last night, August 3, 2012, in the middle of a phone call. No warning at all. The line just went dead. The unit indicates that there is no line connection but the phone line is fine and has been verified with another phone.I would agree with most of the praise here for the system's sound quality and general usability, but I'm not very happy about only getting a year out of it.

I cannot tell you how much I HATE this phone! All my life (since the age of 12) I have used Panasonic cordless phones (I am now 30) and have always loved them and refused to use anything else. This phone system is the worst ever!! If you have ANY background noise, the phone completely cuts out...meaning you can't hear the other person and they can't hear you. It is very similar sounding to a cell phone with poor reception. All of the phones in this system do this, and it isn't just mine with the problem...Panasonic tried telling me this is a known issue with all cordless units that have extra handsets that don't plug into the wall but communicate wirelessly with the main base. UM NO! I have tried 3 other brands and none of them do this, as well as replaced this system 3 times and every single one does it. I have 3 children and a dog...my home is never perfectly silent, therefore these phones are useless. They can't even handle the TV in the background. Other than that, I love the layout, the feeling of the phones, their range is incredible, and battery life is awesome...but still 1 star since I can't use them. I donate most things I don't use, but I can't see putting this frustration on another person so I trashed them.
