bought this phone system 2 times now and both times they broke the exact same way prematurely so I thought they owed me at least one replacement. WRONG. Bill who unbelievably is actually an officer at customer service for Panasonic would not do anything without a reciept. Like I manufactured fake panasonic phones right. I contacted the main office and they would not budge. I figure the one phone not the whole system, just the one phone might at the very most have cost Panasonic 5 bucks to replace for me but instead they now lost a customer for life with not just phones but tv's and whatever else Panasonic makes over 5 lousy bucks. To boot, there is no telling how many people will not buy one of their products when they read my reviews here, elsewhere, blogs, tweets, facebook and elsewhere. Was it worth it Panasonic?

I bought this phone for my home office and it has been working great for me. The quality of sound is good, the charge in the batteries stays for a long time when not in the charger. I am very happy with the purchase.

Had mine a couple weeks ago. I have probably had about 6-7 cordless phones that I have used for a while and then they crap out and I have to discard them in ewaste recycling.This one seems like a quality product and so far it has worked well.Feb 2013 it's still working.People discuss all the nice features of this phone. But the biggest virtue of the Panasonic versus the other brands of cordless phones is that it WORKS.

So far I don't have any complaints with these phones. They seem to have decent battery life and range. Quite nice for the price, methinks.

Easy set up. No wierd, hard to find batteries to replace. The intercom was such a bonus because my husband is hard of hearing, but the "star ship Enterprise" tone it makes is just the right pitch. No need to (yell and look for him just to tell him to come for dinner). The headset sound is clear, and my sister says it picks up EVERYTHING in the background. The display screen is well lit, I have poor vision but am able to see the display without ant trouble.A gteat telephone system!

Bought for my 83 yr old Mom. Easy to set up, easy to read, and best of all, simple to use. If you want a basic cordless phone, this is great.

We have returned this phone to Amazon. We have a phone card from Sam's Club and could not input the two numbers needed into memory. Called Panasonic but they were no help and we could barely understand the representative. Other than the lacking of the memory feature which we needed, it seemed to be a nice phone. Clarity was very good.

I've elected to have only one base station because I have my cell phone as my primary number. The reason I do this is that I'm recovering from spinal cord surgery and can't get to the landline most of the time when it rings. But the Panasonic phone is really a marvel at the cost of it. It has so many features--half of which I'm still in the process of learning! Good tone quality too. I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a reliable phone that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

The Panasonic cordless phone set is pretty good and does what it advertises. The phones hold a good charge, voice quality is good, set up can't be any easier. The only two issues I've had are that 1. the range is pretty short. Going from our family room to the bedroom (same floor), the handset sometimes does not pick up the signal from the base unit. And when it does, the voice quality is not great. 2. The address book should be transferable from one unit to the other. Maybe it is, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Overall, satisfied with the phone set.

I ditto the many positive comments about this phone. A lot of thought went into making this an excellent design. Rather than duplicate other comments I'd like to add other observations. This phone is not disturbed by my computer WiFi network nor does it disturb the network. The phone works well with my off site Voice Mail system. I entered the voice mail access number once and this phone automatically connects me to VM when asked. Along with the many other welcome features are two that I particularly like. First is a locator signal to track down a misplaced handset. Second is an intercom feature that permits my wife and I to speak with each other when in different parts of our home. Although the product description does not specify such, these phones can be wall mounted easily. The central base has a fitting that rotates to accommodate either desk or wall placement. There are two keyhole cutouts on the base that slide over pan head screws to hold the base firmly in place against a wall.. The satellite bases have a similar feature. The charging cradles that receive the handsets maintain the same orientation whether mounted on the wall or placed on a flat surface. Handsets are held in a stable upright position supported from the bottom unlike other designs which require hooking the handset to the base if it is wall mounted. Information stored in the central base (ie time, date, voice mail number, contact lists, etc.) are available to all the handsets on the system. All handsets have equal functionality. In concluding, the components are compact and have a quality look and feel. I am very happy with this purchase. Amazon offered a bargain price and excellent fulfillment.

The product itself works satisfactorily. But the customer service seems totally lacking in comprehension. I had a question about wall mounting the base unit but I couldn't reach anyone who understood the question, . . much less, answer it.

This Panasonic DECT 6.0 phone system was purchased for use as VOIP system, and to that end it has performed very well. I have connected the VOIP to the Panasonic base telephone through the old internal house phone wiring, and the other two slave units placed in other rooms connect to VOIP through the base unit. I'm quite satisfied with the performance. Other features provided by the telephone instrument such as caller ID and the ability to block unwanted calls are a plus.

Very happy with the phones; it was extremely easy to set up and they only needed about 12 hours to charge before use (some are as much as 24 hours). The buttons are clearly marked and the reception is excellent.

I bought this phone after looking at many good reviews. And I find the phone is good but somehow the speakers are faulty.After I put on the speakers once during a call, they do not go off. There seems no way that I can put them off.Once I was on a business call and talking on speaker phone, suddenly one of my friend came up. I did not want them to listen to my business conversation. I tried switching off the speaker but could not. At the end I had to disconnect the call.Pathetic fault for a good phone.4 stars for all the other good features but less 1 star for faulty speakers.

I've had these phones for about a month now with no problems. Nothing super-fancy about them...they just serve their purpose as a cordless phone. Would recommend if you are looking for something basic.

Purchased this phone to replace another panasonic phone and we love it. We especially love the block caller button since it's time for all those political calls keep coming in at all hours. This is a great phone!

I bought this set for my elderly mother. It has several features that make it easier to use. The high-contrast LCD display makes it easy to see the time, data, and incoming caller ID. The only feature I forgot to include was the caller announcement (which we have on our similar model). So far, she loves the phone. It's simple and straightforward to do major tasks like redial, review call history, access phone book and voicemail. The buttons, while not oversized, are still large enough to make dialing easy for her. And as I told her, if an emergency arises and both phones are uncharged, regular AAA batteries can be substituted. Considering the price, features, and build, thi is a great option for the elderly or anyone requiring better accessibility options.

Don't use a land line much but bought these to replace the aging Uniden's I had with constant battery problems. This 3 pack works great for me because I like to have one on my desk, one in the kitchen and the third in the garage.A couple selling points of this phone:It alerts me I have a voicemail message (I have Verizon service that includes voicemail), It shows a digital message as well as a blinking light. The problem with the blinking light is the fact it's nearly on the back of the phone. If the room is dark you can see the light bouncing off the wall, otherwise you don't ever notice it.The phones use a simpler AAA battery set up that makes them easier to buy and replace than the specialized batteries my Uniden had.Then of course there are lots of other bells and whistles which I don't care so much about. I haven't taken one of the phones out in the yard yet to check the range, but indoors they have a good clear signal.One thing I don't like is the angle in which the phones sit while in the base. It is almost straight up so if the phone is sitting on a counter you have to bend over to read the screen. They should have laid the phone back a bit. A wimpy issue but noticeable.

Had one, stopped working after 3 months. Got another, it stopped working after 9 months. The speaker on each sounded blown after the first week or so.

We built a new home and brought our old phones with us. We never had any problems with the old phones and reception. In fact I was able to walk out to the mailbox (approximately 80 feet away) without losing the signal. I was having problems with reception in our new home and thinking it was our cable provider. The technician said he thought it was our phone. Skeptical, I purchased this one single phone to prove his theory. This phone is amazing. This solved all reception problems with the signal clear and crisp. Highly recommend this phone system.

Phone has good sound but lacks features I wish it would have. The light informing you there is a message is hard to see unless the phone is turned exactly the right way. The choices for rings is very limited. Wish I would have known these things before it was purchased.
