So far I've had no problems with this phone. The sound quality of the speaker phone is very good. It's easy to add names and numbers to your phone book. Also, I've had the phone pretty far from the base and the call quality didn't deteriorate. My one complaint about this phone is that there's no ringer volume. Nevertheless, this is a good value for the price.

This has been a very good set, so far. My previous set began to have little battery life, and rather than replace batteries, we decided to get a new set. Although I do not like the fact that it does not have a blinking light to show messages (I have a voice-mail service rather than an answering machine), I am satisfied with the product.

This is superior to other similar products in same price range. this is little expensive to other brands but is definitely worth it. sound quality, display, battery life, buttons, shape.. all are excellent. Comes in a nice compact packing.

I love this phone! I needed a portable phone with a headset jack and without a built in answering machine. They are almost impossible to find but Amazon saved my search and emailed me when this phone was available and on sale! Thanks, Amazon!

We needed an extra cordless phone, and this one was a good choice. We didn't need a base with 4 extra phones so commonly available. It's priced for simple operation and has helpful features we wanted without all the extras that we didn't. We continue to like Panasonic phones over the competitors - Vtech, ATT -- and would buy it again.

The rechargable battery that comes with this device is cheap, with low battery life. But I use some nonchargable battery, and the life is much longer. The rechargable battery can only sustain for about two days and then you have to charge it again. Other than that this phone works great and it is so cheap. The phone is light to grab and don't get hot after long calling. Like it.

These telephones have worked out nicely. They're no-frill units which were hard to find, but the search paid off. Even my young kids havent' destroyed them yet.

My house is long and 2 stories. The base unit is on the first floor at one end of the house. The master bedroom is on the second floor at the other end of the house. In the past I had to run a wire to the master bedroom and use a separate phone, but this unit works well up there. So the range is excellent. Sound quality and features are pretty much what I expected - Panasonic builds a nice phone. We don't use any special features other than caller ID (which tells us not to answer the hundreds of calls we seem to get from political parties...), so I can't rate them.

I'm sure I'm hardly the first review to use the phrase "Planned Obsolescence", but this ish is getting old... My previous cordless phones were Panasonic WITH headset jacks (completely critical to me) -- and they lasted very well for about 5 years 'til they stopped holding much charge and I thought I new set would be easier than new batteries.NOT exactly... Firstly, try finding a decent, affordable pair of cordless phones with these specs:- EARPIECE / HEAD-SET JACK- NO ANSWERING MACHINE (use messaging center via phone co.)Why are phone companies making *fewer* phones with hands-free capability?? ???The the KX-TG6512B seemed to fit the bill, but I've cycled through two sets now and, with both, in a few months the headset jack connection becomes so noisy and staticy neither I, nor anyone I'm talking with, can stand it. Of course I've changed headsets and I've de-oxidized the jack, etc. Nothing helps... it's just poorly made. Really too bad.Upgrading with Panasonic seems to mean adding a bunch of addt'l feature I don't want or need -- not (far as I can tell) upgrading the actual quality!! Looks like I'm going to have find what I want from another company.In the positive column (in case you don't care about headset jacks): the sound quality, with handset held to ear, seems fine and the other controls etc. are fine... It's not bad looking... the ringer options are not brain-stabbingly obnoxious which is nice... and all other features seem to be holding up about 7 months on.

I purchased this to replace a Panasonic model that was several years old and was starting not to work. At first I had an echo, but now doesn't. Can't explain it? Not bad for the price. So far i have walked to the mail box (about 50 yards) and it was still clear. A little confusing to save numbers at first but you get the hang of it. I did not know what to expect with the number block but tried it. The phone will ring once and then stop so you don't have to listen to the five or six rings before it goes to the answering machine. We use the answering machine thru the phone company and it worked fine with it. I would recommend this phone.

I like that this phone will operate a long time without charging and that its batteries are replaceable. Someone I called said my volume on this phone was too high. The volume on the speakerphone is sometimes too low.

I bought this to replace my Vtech phone. The sound quality on this is much better. Easy to use. The manual was pretty good as well. The only thing is that Amazon lists this as Bluetooth which is one of the reason I bought this. I figured I could sync my bluetooth headset with the phone but this is NOT the case. I do not see anywhere in the manual or on the phone for bluetooth.I am still pleased with the phone and would buy it again.

I purchased this phone to replace an older Panasonic wall mounted cordless unit. The swivel bracket when rotated to wall mount will not attach to an industry standard wall mount plate with spacing of 4 inches as advertised.

I purchased this phone as a gift for my elderly parents and they are thoroughly satisfied with the phones. The problem with the last sets of Uniden/Panasonic phones were that the batteries would deteriorate very quickly and they essentially became useless.These phones are fantastic because :1. Phone quality is outstanding, both for long distance and international calls2. The range is also impressive, I can move about 50 yards from the base and still be fine3. The battery life is incredible, never have to worry about it going out4. If the batteries ever do go caput, replacements are dirt cheap5. All the phonebook, caller id, voice messaging setup is extremely easy even for elderly people.

Have had lots of cordless phones, but these are the best one, even better than those that cost me a lot more money. Love the big screen with clock on face and easy retrieval of voice mail. Call quality is good, even when my wife talks when she goes out to the street to the mail box.

This is one of those technology products that either works well or its a bust. This phone works really well. Previous phones I've had either had poor reception or poor voice quality. This phone has really good reception and the voice quality is excellent. It simply works as a phone should.
