Great phone but much more complicated than what I am accustomed to. It doesn't have speed dial--which I knew about in advance. So I have to go back to the directory to find all numbers I don't readily know. However, on the plus side, it does have great range! I'm able to actually carry the phone out into my yard which was impossible with my last phone. It is also one of the few phones that allows a headset which I use constantly for hands-free use. I probably paid a bit more than I could have paid in stores but the handsfree capacity was important as was not having an answering machine attached.I'll just need more time with the instructions.

Великолепно

I am impressed with this phone. It has exceptional battery life and good sound. It also has a place for a headset to attach which is a key feature for me. I like being able to talk while having my hands free to do whatever else I need to.I liked it enough to order a couple more for my home and studio.

So as not to repeat positive comments already available, just read and believe D. Dawson's review of 2010, a very complete and, in my view, an accurate review. I would add that the range is superb, 450 feet through woods with usable quality, but slightly scratchy. Also, available functions will change depending on what mode the phone is in. For example, there is no dedicated hold button, but the hold function comes alive when making a call and is available through the menu button. This is not that difficult but needs to be remembered.The comparison table Amazon shows indicates this model does not have a speaker. This is in error and for those who rely on second hand specifications, beware. Manufacturers' specs are usually easily found and more reliable.All in all, a great phone with some practical customizing features.

Like display window VERY much. Had difficulty learning to use large round button and "soft" buttons to navigate phone book easily and effectively. Expect I will get used to it - it's not difficult, just confusing (to me). Everything else on Panasonic Digital Cordless Phone is excellent.

These phones worked great for a little while, but then, we had one phone's battery go dead and wouldn't recharge. it wasn't long before the second one did the same thing.

I have had this phone for only a few months and both handsets have had trouble charging from the beginning. One has failed totally, and the other one is close to death. I tried getting replacement batteries, and that did not work. The sound quality is also not great -- not terrible, but troublesome. I'm pretty unhappy with these phones, and am going to look for another brand.

There are not too many glitzy features on this phone, but it has everything you need to connect and get going in minutes. Has decent battery life and a good connection with little interference. Base unit has only the locator button. Keys are a bit plasticky in feel but work fine. I bought it mainly as a basic unit with headphone jack(for calls through a headset) and it serves its purpose wonderfully. Will buy again.

This is different from my old Panasonic phone there a lot to relearn. The voice mail button is actually a menu item no so hit menu down arrow then select to dial. Not bad and this was thw only reason I got a new Panasonic because Vtech didn't have an option to program voice mail. They have a whole bunch of # commands to learn LOLI just got the phone so still learning stuff. I am please so far. I do like the normal recharge batteries. However on my old phone when batteries went new batteries didn't really help so I may just keep what the ones that came with the phone.Panasonic like always the phone comes with a belt clip so if I am in the kitchen I can have the phone on me or if I get a headset.The charger base stops charging when phone is fully charge which has to be the first for a cordless phone. My old phone would charge 24/7 in the base and I believe most phones still do. However Panasonic charges only when the battery drops a bar. As long as it has all 3 bars it doesn't charge which means batteries should last long because they are not overcharged.

I have had this system for a few weeks. Up until today I would have given it all A's. Today the line was listed as "in use" and we could not make or receive calls. I unplugged the phone line and power line but this did not fix it. I checked all the phone and make sure the last phone called end button had been pushed, still did not work. My last attempt which fixed it was to take all the batteries out and shut everything down and then re-install the batteries...it now works. I trust this is a one time event.

I have had these phones for over a year now. The clarity of the calls is great and people on the other end claim the clarity is good. It is feature loaded. Any saved phone numbers show up on all phones. You can name each phone for the room it is located. One of the best features is that you can block unwanted callers (political and sales calls). You can listen to calls recorded while you are away from the phone at any of the phones. I have 6 phones all linked together and they all operate the same.

I bought this product after reading the reviews of other customers, and it lives up to the good reviews I read about it. It looks great and works great. The phone voice quality is excellent, and the buttons are large and easy to see and use. I like the intercom feature, too, and the ability to enter a name for each of the phones. Excellent product.

This is a great basic cordless phone, with clear sound and exceptional battery life. As a totally blind person, I also appreciate that the user guide can be obtained online, and it explains (in text, not in images), how to change different settings in the menu.

I paid $39 for these phones on sale. They are fantastic but have no thrills, such as, an answering machine. I am happy with this because people I want to hear from know how to get a hold of me. Excellent product and it stands up to the Panasonic reputation.

I was replacing another Panasonic Hand Set system that I had already. The new set that I just purchased did not disappoint! They look great, handle great, sound great and was every bit my expectations! I would recommend Panasonic, and specifically the model that I had just purchased! The price was a great one too, and I got free super saver shipping through buying it on Amazon.com!

When my old "walking around" phone stopped working after years of reliable service, I went to my local drugstore and bought a new phone. I didn't think it was a big deal. Well, that phone worked for all of 2 days. Needless to say, I returned it. Then, I looked on Amazon and read the reviews. This phone had good reviews, a reasonable price, and met my needs for a simple, uncomplicated phone. I did not want a phone that could cook dinner! I have not had any problems with it, and can agree with the others who recommend it.

I've only had the units for a few days. I'm sure I'd forget to review the units later so I'll do it now.There is no background noise on the copy of the product I received.The range from the base station sitting on a desk indoors was to about 150' outside the building.My house is apparently not large enough to find a bad spot indoors.In my opinion this system as very nice for $63. I considered the Plantronics CT14, CT12(used) and CT10(used) but the negative reviews of the system were a little strong and the dependance on a headset discouraged me.Initially I disregarded the value of multiple stations in the system. Now that I have it I am glad that there are several units. The intercom and the ability to see that the system is already in use from the remote are both valuable features. The intercom is enhanced by being able to give a name to each handheld. The name may be displayed by default on the LCD so I can trivially identify which unit belongs at which location, in case they cross paths. The intercom lets me selectively ring the desired hand-set. The find-the-units button on the base-station will ring all of the units at once.

This phone is nice and has a few goodies that are helpful. Unfortunately, it does not have the range of phones it replaced. That could reduce the 5th star to a half.Actually, it could be a little more comfortable if on an extended call. Another loss of a half star. The sound quality was very adequate.But the on line price was the least expensive. And coupled with credit card points, and no tax or delivery charge final cost was $0.

I needed this Panasonic cordless phone to eliminate my black labrador from tripping on phone cords.PANASONIC KX-TG6512 rocks!! Great reception and features like date, time, display illumination, call blocking, different ringtones.I recommend this phone to everyone and take your corded phones and throw them away. We needed to upgrade an older cordless phone which worked well enough but could not cover the far corners of our house. That is no longer a problem. Very good coverage as far from the base as required. Quality of the speaker phone is a big plus as well.
