like the other reviews, this earphones sounds good but it gave up on me in just 5 months of light usage. very frustrating since only one side is working and the problem seems to exist on the 3.5mm connector wirings. to sum up, durability is very poor.

my daughter absolutely adore her klipsch. I tried it and absolutely love it as well. the ear piece was comfortable and the sound was excellent. it's better than other headsets, especially for phone calls.

Service from the seller was good - no complaints there.
The headphones themselves are also good, while they work. Unfortunately the bud connections don't seem very sturdy, and one of them seems to 'break' or disconnect after relatively ordinary use (I only use them for my commute). I've now had 5 of the MKI & MKIIs over the last few years, getting somewhere around 6 months of use out of each pair. However last pair only lasted 2 months...

I loved these headphones. Got them for Christmas and I was walking on sunshine when I listened to them. Incredibly clear, could hear parts that I hadn't heard in years. Was absolutely in love! Then after 2 months one of the headphones stopped working -____- Not happy at all. Pay $100 for headphones for them to stop working after a month. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to get this rectified. If I remember I will provide an update.

These are a great purchase. Even before a proper burn-in, they offer full rich sound and amazing clarity. The are very sturdy, and I don't fear them breaking from normal wear and tear. While they are very comfortable, the left bud does sometimes slip out of my ear. However, maybe I have an unusual architecture in my ear. Who knows? I suppose I should consult my medical professional. In summary, these headphones are a great value and an excellent product.

I've purchased Klipsch in the past and liked the sound quality so decided to buy this. Overall, very good. Sound quality continues to be very good. The only criticism I have and may not be a consideration for most is that the flat cords feel heavier than the ones I've used in the past and buds can "pop" out of ears when you're shifting the phone around. On the other hand, they don't tangle as easily. Overall, very good.

To my ears, they sound as good as the Shure SE115s they're replacing. And they're a LOT more comfortable than the Shure 215s I tried before getting these.
I wish the remote worked on my 25GB iPod. Since it doesn't, I've added a little Koss VC20 volume control between my iPod and the earphone cord. Works well enough, except that it adds another 2' of cord.

Fantastic sound. Microphone works well with the iPhone 5 and Siri. Some apps lose their voice to the text feature, but that is certainly not the fault of the ear buds. They are far more comfortable than the apple ear buds and more importantly they stay in my ears.

So i bought two pairs of these Klipsch S4's after reading about how good they were on head-fi and CNET. I was so excited to add these to my collection. Then they arrived and I listened. And listened. And listened. Where is the "stellar" qualities so many piped off about? The bass was too deep and unruly, and the highs are HORRIBLY tinny and forward. To the point of ear fatigue less than 10 minutes in!!!! Burn in time did NOTHING to remedy this ailment in these IEM's. I finally grew disillusioned and realized too many people are used to craptastic headphones like Skullcandy, Dr Dre Beats, and budget Sony to really have a good idea about what's quality sound. I own the UE TF 10's. These are STELLAR! These are AMAZING! Klipsch S4's are just garbage for the hype. This and they ome with the worst stock tips, and a TIN case. Yeah. Heard that right, A tin cigarette case. Sorry folks. Thumbs down. NEXT!

These earbuds were mediocre at best from the very begining. I had some Beats by Dre earbuds before these and the Klipsch never could compare. And now, after a few months, the earbuds have completely stopped working. I will never buy this brand of earbuds ever again. Don't waste your time on these. Don't fall victim to those first few good reviews like I did.

Great product. But, for some reason my left earbud is making cracking noises. May be bad. But, I owned a pair in the past and great for the price. Besides this issue no problems. Love the anti tangle cord.

Klipsch makes the best-sounding and most comfortable in-ear iPhone buds, but they are very expensive and the cables on the S4i and the super-light x10i tend to fray. These cables are more durable and the sound is great. They would be my choice.

Great headphones! The sound quality is great and the voice quality is quite good! The remote is easy to use and unlike previous versions the cord doesn't tangle! Only problem is that the cord is really long but better than being too short.

I love the flat cord design and the new carrying pouch. The sound controls work really and the mic is solid. I run into challenges keeping the earbuds secure in my ears at times. Overall, great headphones!

I bought these because there were positive recommendations on amazon and I didn't want to spend $150 on Bose. I use headphones mostly for the exercising and these do not stay in your ears at all. Also the inline mic is two big so it bounces around a lot as you walk. I returned them. Just got the Bose and they are awesome.

I have used both generations of apple ear buds, and numerous other types, these have been my favorite of all so far. Controls are easy to use by feel alone, cord seems to tangle less than other buds I have used, (perhaps the flat not round wire) Works very well when used with my laptop as well, although the controls aren't a factor then, but great sound, great ergonomics, and a cord that is just the right length for me finally!

I am not a musician or a sound fanatic. I like to listen to music while I am exercising, traveling, and while I am doing chores in the house. I like to hear my music clearly and get absorbed into its multifold layers. I don't know the technical terms, but I don't enjoy it when I hear "all singing voices" or "just booming bases" while all other sounds are weak and tremulous. Klipsch S4 feeds the music from my iPhone to my ear drums in a very satisfying and comfortable way. Using the S4 for phone conversations also works great (no static or disruptive ambient sounds). Ear buds are very soft and comfortable; comes in various sizes.

Don't spend more money for a pair of headphones. These are comfortable, seem to be well made, reasonably priced, and best of all they sound GREAT! I wanted some phones with a decent bass.
First song I played was Al Green's "Still in Love with You". These were just what I wanted. I could hear the bass and when he hit his high notes, they were equally smoothly and full bodied. I've tried a lot of phones, and these I loved right out of the box. I don't write reviews, but this one merits one! You won't be disappointed. Works great with my iPhone 4S, too! I like to listen to music of the 60s-80s. Some of the 60s music is pretty shallow sounding if it hasn't be remastered. These phones make them sound great. Going to buy another pair from Amazon for a Christmas present.

I'm not what my husband refers to as an "audiophile," but I'm very happy with these headphones (which he purchased for me after painstaking hours of research.) They sound great and block out the surrounding noise. They are also very comfortable. The wires do not tangle at all, which is a huge plus as I am regularly taking them in and out of my purse (they also come with a convenient little carrying case), unlike the standard Apple headphones which are a constant tangled and knotted mess. Overall very please with these.

... then the left earbud stopped working. The quality of the sound was mediocre, but nothing that would justify $100 that I payed for these. My Dr.Dre's at a similar price range performed 1000 times better, lets not mention a pair of Altecs that were better for a fraction of the price. Overall a huge disappointment from day 1, icing on the cake when the left earbud stopped working all of a sudden. What a disaster.
Good thing amazon was polite enough to re-imburse me 80% of the price as a partial refund. I would definitely look elsewhere.

Compared to earlier models, the plastic eartips don't fall off as easily (I lost several when the plastic eartips slipped off). The sound quality is great, but the weight of the remote makes having only one earphone in slightly less comfortable because of the weight it is hanging down with.

Like most people, I am always upgrading my technology. Well, my almost new Klipsch Image S4i II is my latest upgrade. Sound quality it way above average (about the same as my Bose earbuds) but they fit my ears better and the iPhone controls are easier to use (being easier to reach and push). Highly Recommended!

Sound great and flat design works very well, but inline mic and controls just a tad too big. If Klipsch slimmed the mic down a tad and put it above where the cable splits instead of below I think that would work better. Otherwise would get five stars.

Flat cables prevent tangling. Sound great as long as you have right sized earplugs... If not you will lose bass. Mic works perfectly for phone calls, and after you get the hang of it, double clicking works well for skipping and replaying tracks. Best of all...you can use them with no music just as earplugs if you want some quiet on the plane. Carry case is soft cloth and also better than the tin can you got with the S4i mark I.

Having previously owned the S4i earphones, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed with the sound quality of these MK11's, it is superb. I use them with my iphone 5 (iphone 4 previously) and the compatibility with these phones is great. My only gripe about the S4i's was the flimsy connection of the cable into the jack, a problem that Klipsch have thankfully resolved. The new, anti-tangle cable is fantastic and winds up neatly into it's handy carry case. Quite a bit pricier than of old but they have made some very good and necessary changes.

I had heard good things about the S4 and had been looking for a pair of earbuds to use on the go. The left ear bud stopped working within two weeks despite having been very careful with these earbuds. Also my impression was that the sound was too muddy. Don't get me wrong, I love fat bass and while these certainly beefed up the low end, the sound image seemed muddy. I went back to using Sennheiser mm70i--definitely nothing fancy and maybe it's because I'm used to their sound, but for the under 100$ range I find the sound image much cleaner. If they had not broken, I would have kept using them and maybe come to like them. But I didn't like them enough to get another pair after the first one broke. I think there are higher quality, better sounding earbuds out there for this price range.

I love these earbuds. I've been a long time user of Bose earbuds and while the sound is excellent I didn't like how they fit in my ears. The Klipsch earbuds sound great. Fit perfectly in my ears and I love the no tangle cord. Best overall earbuds I've owned

It's taken me some time to get the proper ear tip so that I get the best sound, comfort, and practicality of exercising without them slipping out. But the sound seems pretty good, though some people might not appreciate the difference for the expense.

I bought this 6 months ago, and after a very intense use I can say, the sound quality is one of the best. I always keep checking all the other expensive earphones at the stores, and I haven't found anything good enought to replace mine. The only problem i had with this, was during a hard road cycling ride, so all my sweat ended somehow on the buttons, and now they are too hard to use, otherwise, no more problems with them. (That is the only reason why this is not a 5 star review).

I'm a daily commuter and I bought these to use with my iphone 5. The tangle resistant cable is good although the ear buds are sometimes joined together by the cable splitter. The buds required a few days of burn in to sound good. The audio through the right earbud failed within 2 months staring with intermittent volume control failure.

These are probably the best earbuds ever. When the wire moves, it doesn't make that much noise depending on the ear tip size. Worth every penny there couldn't be better sound quality. These sound even better then the beatsbydre studio and solo. I should know because I have em.

Sound quality and comfort are great. My only problem, and the reason I can't rate the product higher, is that the remote is not compatible with my 160 GB iPod (6th generation)--confirmed by Klipsch, but not really made clear in the product information that I could find. It's supposed to be compatible with iPod "classic," but apparently this doesn't include the 6th gen. Remote works fine with my son's iPhone, so the remote works.

Exactly what I wanted.Great sounding, comfortable earbuds. Some reviews mentioned lack of bass, but I don't notice it. The flat wires are great - rarely tangle.

This is an awful set of headphones, if you're paying for a $100 product it shouldn't break with minimal use after 6 DAYS. So angry and Klipsch had better do something about this.

After I bought the original S4I's, and they frayed, I called Klipsch and their customer support got back within 2 weeks with a new set of headphones (upgraded too!). These headphones are a must-have - although they don't "cancel" noise, they block it out so well that I can even use a vacuum cleaner and listen to music. Also, the sound quality is superb!

For $99 its very hard to beat these Klipsch Image S4i-II headphones. They are comfortable, they block out a good amount of the outside noise, and best of all, they have improved the security of the soft rubber earpiece. On older models the earpieces would pull off quite easily and were easily lost. These seem to stay attached much better. The audio quality of the mic seems to be pretty good for making calls. The listening quality for music is great and the volume controls and pause/skip button works great with my iPhone.

Gonna make this short. Sound is pretty good. Earbuds didn't fit too great but it was ok. However I have gone through two sets of these within the past 3 months. One side will just stop producing any sound. Quality control is seriously lacking.

The best over all In- Ear headphones you can fine. I used all the other much expensive headphones from Boss to Dr Beat,and this one sounded and fit much better for leas money. The onely neg would be its not as cool looking as the Beat and the 3 botton located in the middle witch is not hard to control if you are runnig with it
