I consider myself an entry-level audiophile. Having been in a recording band and done live sound, I feel that I have a good grasp on how the music I like should sound. My rule is to never spend more than $50 on headphones (frugal sure, but buying a few pairs can add up quick)... I have the Steelseries Flux in-ears(my favorite), Panasonic TCM-125 (per wirecutter review), Monoprice 8320 (ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE FOR $10), and this Klipsch S4i ii in white. The Klipsch S4i is my stylish pair... only minor gripes (and I do mean minor) is the hint of occasional sibilance, lack of detail, and the slightly over-weight cord.
Be sure to do some Pink noise burn in to avoid severe early sibilance (20 hours at above normal listening level should do).
Are your Apple Earbuds the best you've heard? ... get these (or even the Monoprice 8320s)! You'll realize what you've been missing.

Purchased May 15th, mic and remote broke Aug 8. Cant return u have only 30 day window. so that means i paid $50 for around 3 months of usage for a set of earphones. wouldn't recommend.

I bought these a while ago as a replacement for my old Bose set which broke. I like these as much if not more. I often throw them into a travel bag or even a pocket, and I have yet to see any noticeable wear and tear. For reference, I use them mainly to listen to music or watch movies on my smartphone while I am traveling (plane, train, etc.). For my purposes, the sound quality seems equal to or better than my old Bose set. Delivery was on time, and it came in the factory sealed packaging, as advertised.

I've owned four pairs of Klipsch Image S4 buds. Two pairs of S4i, one pair of S4i with in-line mic, and one pair of S4i-II. I've always thought the sound to be very good for the price and the smallest of the three offered silicone buds fits my ear perfectly. Problem is, every single damn pair of these things has had one of the buds go out. My first pair lasted for about two years, with every subsequent pair not reaching the one year mark. I am very careful with my belongings, especially fragile electronics, so I doubt my transportation or usage habits are to blame.
It's really a shame because I like the sound and the buds fit my ear perfectly, unlike almost any other in-ear buds I've tried. But after four purchases, all suffering the same untimely fate, I won't be buying again.

The Klipsch Image S4i- II headphones offer great sound quality. I can tell that they are good because in certain songs the stereo will take over and it sounds like some music is coming from behind me while other parts of the song will be in front of me. They cover the entire spatial range the way the artist who made the music intended. While the bass isn't thumping it is adequate on many southern rap songs that I listen to. The inline mic works well with my iPhone 5 and is easy to use but doesn't weigh down the headphones. Earbuds come in a variety of sizes and "seal-out" outside sounds which allows me to really get in the zone when working or studying and listening to music. So far so good. I was able to get these on sale at $39.99. For that price I wish I would've bought another pair as a gift. Don't rap these headphones around your phone or music player as the cord won't tangle and it will enhance the longevity of the chord.

I'm in love, with not only these headphones but also my music again. Words can hardly describe the major difference i have heard when using these compared to the $20-30 Sony or other brand headphones. The music just seems to come alive. I highly recommend these to anyone. Save yourself from cheap wannabees and spend you're money on these. YOU wont regret them.

I bought these for my 18 yr. old son to use with his I-Pad. He says he really likes them. He said it has a good quality sound. For the money it was a good buy.

I am always using my headphones to provide a soundtrack on my quest for El Dorado Prime. I am not the most careful of people and I've gone through several different sets of headphones (Shure, Sony, Vmoda). After cutting my original pair of Klipsch headphones crashing in a mountain bike race, I asked support if I could buy a new pair at a discount. They sent me a new set with the stronger cord at no charge. I was and continue to be amazed. That was back in May. Fast forward 6 months. I must have been a little too rough on this set as I lost audio to the left channel while pulling on the cord at the jack. I emailed support again and a new pair is on its way. The way I handle my equipment, things are bound to break, no matter how careful I think I am. It's awesome to know a company like Klipsch is out there. They made a believer out of me and a customer for life. I'm going to start saving now for Klipsch surround system. Thanks for taking care of your people! Paul Wilbur Klipsch would be proud.

They're great until they just randomly stop working. I know I'm hard on my earbuds since I use them everyday, but even the s***ty apple ones hold up better than these guys.

got these on Black Friday for $19 and for that price they are AMAZING... as good as any of the $30 dollar ones I could get at a store... but in June they stopped producing sound not sure why.. but great sound!

I purchased these headphones back in August 2013. They've served me very well since then. Sound quality is great, fit is very comfortable. Only recently I had an issue where the volume control stopped functioning and Klipsch sent me a replacement pair without hesitation. Fantastic product, even better after-the-sale service. Would recommend this model, would especially recommend this brand!

The sound went out on one side not long before the 1 year warranty was up. I called Klipsch customer service, and they requested a copy of my receipt, shipping information, and details via email and informed me that it might take a few days to hear back. That was a week ago, and today I received a new set of headphones that are better than the previous ones.
I've loved the sound, and now I love Klipsch for this customer service experience, too.

I am very disappointed in the quality of these earphones. I ordered these thinking they would be fairly good headphones considering there $99.99 retail price, unfortunately, that was not the case. I used them with several devices, all with the same result, complete S***. The constant static in the background and the vocals echoing were the main problems. I posted a negative review of the headphones, and within 24 hours I was contacted by Milas Corp, and at first they were extremely helpful, offering to not only give me a full refund, but send a brand new pair in exchange I took down the review and complaint. It has been 3 weeks and I have not received a refund, a replacement pair, or an email from them. So I am re posting this review, and sending in another complaint.

I really enjoyed the comfort and sound quality of this headphone except for one major issue...the cord noise. The material they use in the cord just transmits too much noise. Hopefully Klipsch can fix this issue in their next generation S4 headphones since I sound quality is great and the oval tips make the S4i-II one of the most comfortable headphones I have tried.

I purchased these headphones in hopes of some decent quality sound from a reputable brand. Well the headphones did sound very good, nearly as good as the Dr. Dre beats headphones I have. The downside was that EIGHT days after I started using them one side quit working totally. I am not rough on my electronics by any means so there was definitely an internal problem with these headphones. Amazon is great about returns, but now I have to decide if I want to risk buying these again just to have the same thing happen....

I received the white ones for Christmas a year ago and they have had a lot of use for work with phone calla on my Blackberry (yes, our company still uses them) and music on my iPod. They have taken every beating that hard use and travel have thrown at them. The sound quality is superb. I really noticed the difference when I had to use some $10 ones for a week when I lost the ear buds on them. On flights I love the way the ear buds sit in the ear to block out other noise. As for the lost ear buds I bought replacements on Amazon and now carry spares. The cable has a volume up and down button and a mute button for the microphone on calls. With my wife looking for a headset and microphone for her iPhone (yes, she's the cool one) it was a no brainier to get her these for Christmas this year. Would like a wider color selection but aside from that these are a great headphone/microphone combination and worth the money.

I bought this on nov 2013. Today July 2014, the ear bud's failed to work. The pin has jumbled its output for L/R speakers. As a result of this, they are now useless. I will not buy these again.

I purchased these based on the high reviews many tech sites gave these headphones. Upon actual use I was experiencing new levels of intricacy in songs that I've listened to dozens of times. It was like falling in love all over again with songs that I already thought were amazing. FURTHER, I had a problem with them about a few months down the line (Not sure if this was because of possible rough usage) and I emailed Klipsch and got a no questions asked response from one of their associates saying that a new pair of headphones were already on the way for me. They didn't require photos or for me to send in my current pair. Great product with a great customer service team behind it, and I couldn't be happier.

These headphones sound great but do not stand up to everyday wear and tear.
At first I thought this product was amazing, the sound is excellent, the microphone is clear, and the interface is intuitive. Unfortunately these are not built to last. On my first pair, the right ear died after about 2 months of everyday use. I got them replaced for free under warranty but just a few days ago the right ear on my new pair died as well. I don't do anything out of the ordinary with these headphones, I just have them plugged into my phone as I commute. My warranty has expired so I won't be getting a replacement. I also won't be buying these again.

I just received these headphones. I wish i read the other reviews before i purchased. The way the headphones fit the noise from the power cord is a real distraction. The sound of these headphones was poorer than basic iphone headphones. The cord is too long. Very disappointed and plan to return them.

I've tried a lot of in-ear headphones, and these are my favorite so far. The build quality on the cord and remote is the best I've seen so far. I hope it lasts.
Edit: Whoops. These just stopped working. I've had them 6 months. That is not long enough for earphones that cost this much.
