I initially bought these looking for a simple replacement for the Apple in-ear headphones that I had lost. They looked relatively sleek and promised to be noise-cancelling so I thought why not for such a cheap price. I'm thoroughly happy with the product and the sound is pretty good to me (granted I'm no audiophile) but it blocks out nearly all background noise. I will say, however, that this might not be the best choice for workouts...

Garbage headphones. Bad cord noise, uncomfortable, and they stopped working after 3 months. Do yourself a favor and buy some Sennheisers.

I bought these headphones as a replacement to the older version of Klipsch headphones. I was disappointed in their quality.
First, the "tangle-free" cord adds a lot of noise whenever anything touches it. The cord is also really heavy which leads to the second problem.
Second, the headphones never stay in my ear. I tried all the different attachments and nothing helped. Because the cord was heavy and the attachments much different than the older version, the headphones kept popping out.
Third, the sound quality does not compare to the older version. The noise-isolation is near to non-existent possibly because of the second problem.
Overall recommendation: don't buy it. If you want these headphones go for the older version.

I was looking for a set of ear buds which would fit comfortably in my small ears as many standard in-ear headphones were uncomfortable or simply wouldn't stay in my ears. With the 3 different sized tips, I hoped this pair would solve the problem. I was pleased to find that the fit was perfect. I've never had a more comfortable set of ear buds. However, I was rather disappointed in the sound quality. These were not exactly cheap. I think I paid around $60 for the set, but the sound quality, especially the bass, was surprisingly lacking.

extremely nice mids and highs lows arnt super boomy which is pretty nice for the music i have i.e dance, house, remix which dont havea tonne of bass, but it does have some bass to it in some moments. i wish they would alter the angle of the drum so it doesnt push against the wall of my ear (more specifically right). Generally they sit in my ear but seem to push alot when i open my mouth or move my jaw it can push. a size of ear buds in between small and medium would be awesome. all in all these headphones are very solid build
quick note the jack on them does not sit very well in the ipod so evrytime i move it the audio cuts for a milisecond can be annoying in rapid succession maybe if it is longer or redesign it.

the sound quality of these earphones are great the only problem is the build quality. after a month or two of decent use they would break on me. the good news is that Klipsch has excellent customer service, and even though it did take some time for me to get my replacement pair they did come. overall this brand of earphones is a good choice despite its flaws.

Ordered product about 90 days ago. Used it moderately and it's no longer working. Contacted Klipsch and they said Quality Photo was NOT an authorized retailer and my warranty was voided. No recourse. No working headphones. Product is not worth it!

Best ear buds I have ever had. Best noise reproduction. Could use a little more bass. Have had these for a year and a half and still going strong.

Great sound for the price, but unfortunately the construction is terrible. After 3 months, my first pair lost all audio to the right earbud. I returned and got a replacement pair and this one lasted only a bit longer (5 months) before the mid range went almost completely silent. Will be returning these and not trying my luck with a third pair.

From what I read in other reviews here on Amazon and other websites, these headphones are supposed to be bass-heavy with a great sound quality. The pair that I received sounded like I was listening to my iPhone with just the built-in speaker in a bathroom. The free pair that I got with the phone sound 10 times better than the headphones that I was sent.
I would advise anyone that they make sure the seller is Amazon or a Klipsch authorized retailer.

The sound from these headphones is good, as expected for the price. I won't go into detail on sound, since sadly it's the cord that I judge much more than the sound on this pair.
The cord: I thought a flat cord would be great, oh how I was wrong. The cord is high-friction - it feels a little velvety. This means that anytime it touches something, it clings a little and pulls on your ears. I wear a messenger bag, which makes this 10x worse - the bag's strap will inevitable cause the earbuds to pull out when I take the bag of or put it on, regardless of whether I have the cord under or over the strap. It's infuriating. Also, due to the placement of the microphone and buttons, if I place the bag's strap over the cord, it covers the buttons (pressing them down in the meantime).
To sum up: I like the sound, and am saddened by the cord design every time I wear them.

I previously owned an older version of the S4i, which had thinner wires and no volume/talk buttons. I purchased the S4i-II because the wires on my originals became pinched which led to spotty signal in one ear bud.
The S4i-II sound quality is totally the same as the S4i. Which is to say, once you get a good seal in your ears, the audio is AWESOME! And, they are very comfortable as before.
Thicker wires that are flat will not twist. The volume/mute buttons are a bonus.

I purchased these to replace a set of original S4-i earbuds that I needed to replace after the wires broke at the socket (my fault). I loved the sound of those so was more than happy to replace them.
These looked like a fairly logical upgrade and were a good price so I went with these instead of directly replacing my originals. Problem is the heavier cable seems to want to pull the earbuds from my ears. This can be solved with a bit of readjustment, however this was never an issue with the original S4-i. The cable also transfers a lot of noise into the earbuds from rubbing against clothing, etc. - fortunately Klipsch supplies a lapel clip to reduce this problem. A comparison would be the a-Jays Four, which I bought for my wife for jogging, but she won't wear them because there is no way to prevent the cord noise.
Sound quality is still top notch, so just a couple of minor concerns really.

I had the first generation of this headphones and they were amazing until they stopped working after 3+ years of intensive everyday use. I decided to buy the second generation: overall they are good successors. almost identical sound, I don't seem to have any serious issues with cord noise as other people who have bought them, I just use the clip when I'm running and problem solved.

I was looking for an earphone which is affordable and provides the right balance of bass and output. This ear piece fits both of my criterias perfectly. Its been over 2months that I am using it, and as of now I faced no problems in the output.

Arrivedon time and in great condition but within the first week the plastic chrome pieces fell off and within a month the buttons and mike no longer work. They seemed like high quality headphones at first glance. Any time you turn the jack there is a significant amount of static. Not worth more than $30

I purchased these to replace my older Klipsch headset that i loved. These sound great but the microphone placement is a bit off. People still have a hard time hearing you talk unless you hold the microphone closer to your face. I guess i can clip the microphone to the collar of my shirt but it would be great if the microphone was higher up on one side of the headset cord.

Comfortable, good sound, and much ruggeder than the S4I's. Construction is now not a problem.
At the $39.95 sale price a good value, but I prefer my HiFiman RE0's which I bought for $15 more.
The dynamic driver S4's are muffled compared to most Balanced Armature IEM's though the bass extension is better.
The RE0's have much cleaner sound and I can sleep on them without losing sound in 1 ear which I do with the S4i-II's.
Unfortunately the RE0's are no longer available so I purchased MEElectronics A161P's for the same price as the S4i-II's and got that neutral sound I like though not quite as good as the RE0's.
Overall, a good $40 IEM but there are better available if you look around and have some patience.

These are fine, but -- in my opinion -- not nearly worth the cost. I think I slightly prefer the Panasonic in-ear headphones I bought for less than $10. I bought the Klipsch based on a CNET review thinking they'd be a step up. They were not.

Returned for x4i - I bought both and kept the better headphones. I previously had these for 2+ years before the cable failed. I woul dhighly recommend them if the better headphones are not in your budget
