Did a huge amount of research in this price point. Have had 5+ projectors over the last 10-15 years and this is a good one. The pixels however are visible and I am very upset about that. Low quality images for sure but once you're watching, you forget about it. I will say this projector is very bright and I like the remote, small and compact with soft rubber buttons. Works well near or far, key works well on an angle too. 3d works well with my ps4. Throw is great, fan is quiet... all in all I am happy with this at the price point.

I bought 2 of these projectors which We use with a 3d blue ray player and the 2 speaker&woofer from Bose and the quality of movies ,netlflix,hulu plus/showtime& amazon prime tv,movies is unbelieveable, i highly ,highly recommend this projector. Try this one before u buy an xpensive one

Great projector for the price! Plenty bright for cloudy-day viewing (with thin window coverings, but not closed curtains or anything) at about 15 feet from the screen. Easy plug and play set-up. Picture quality is just fine for us, too. When you get close to the screen, you get the screen door effect a bit, but it's not nearly pronounced enough to bug us.

We have used attached to my computer and a PS3, all via an HDMI cord, and it's been easy. We've streamed netflix, amazon prime, and played video games (GTA V only, so far) all with no problems. Have yet to try 3D, as we only have passive glasses, but we're definitely planning to do so soon.

This projector has surpassed my exceptions. I'm using it for outdoor movie nights and I love that it is light and easy to setup. It is also bright enough that I can set up when there is still some light out and get everything adjusted as far as screen size. The sound is not that great but that's to be expected there's an audio out similar to whats on your computer I'm using that and 2 channel stereo and it works fine. I may end up getting a blu ray player with it own audio outputs and going down that route. But for what I paid I got more than I thought I'd get. Had some comments from neighbors that thought I paid 1000s of bucks on it.

I use it mainly for movie protection and it works great. Haven't tried the 3d feature, but the regular protection is very good quality. It has a friendly easy operating software and I like that it turns off after being idle for a long while. That is very good if you, as i, fall as sleep while watching movies on the projector. Definitely would recommend to a friend. Actually, I already have.

Just got mine yesterday in the mail and all I can say is WOW. This thing is legit and definitely a bang for your buck. I actually got mine for $250.00 from here because I bought it refurbished so shop around on here. At 14 feet away, my screen is about 144 inches and playing PS3 games like WatchDogs and Call of Duty is mind blowing. Watching movies on NetFlix is great. I watched my favorite movie "The Wood" with Omar Epps and I felt like I was in a movie theater looking at that huge screen. I had so much fun with this thing that I called off work from my second job, stayed up until about 2 am swithching between movies and playing games, then had to go to work three hours later so I got absolutely no sleep. But I don't care life is short and this is one thing that I am glad I was able to afford and experience. I am done using TV's. Next purchase? Screen Innovations Black Diamond Screen.

It has been over a year sense I made this purchase in June/July 2014. My projector is still going strong. I think I have only used about 1800 hours of lamp time as I do not use it every single day. It is still great and still a bang for your buck. I will admit that the text is a bit shabby and not very clear. Sometimes I rub my eyes to make sure it is not me but the projector that appears blurry. You literally have to get it right on the mark to have the text appear clear while trying to adjust the zoom in/out feature. Other than that, I really like this thing. It does sometime act as a heater as it blows hot air from trying to cool itself but I think that is with all projectors. Still love this thing and still have not had another tv since.

Brighter than I imagined it would be. Met my needs extremely well.

I use this outside and project onto a 100 inch screen. You can see it clearly around sunset if you're watching something pretty bright. After dark the picture really looks great though!

It does have a speaker. I wouldn't use it though. Buy some basic 2.1 computer speakers. I bought a set for $30 off Amazon. Worthy investment.

Set up is super simple. We have a little table we leave it and the speakers on and just store it in the closet for easy access.

Great little unit! I use it in my bedroom with a Roku stick to view Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming, worms great. I've also used it with an HDMI cable and laptop input, also worked great. For sound I'm using a Beats Pill. I use this during the day and it's definitely watchable. I notice the low resolution for 5 minutes and then it doesn't bother me at all. Cons - I wish the little foot on the front to raise/lower was actually 2 feet that could be adjusted on either side. Also if I'm being honest, if I saw a great deal on another unit with higher resolution, I'd go for it and sell this one. But, this is a nice price for solid unit if you have the right expectations.

So to start, I have never owned a projector and I was not looking to buy a $1000 projector. I wanted something I could hook up to watch sporting events and the occasional movie. I attempted to read as many reviews of this product as I could. I understood I was buying a $300 projector and I shouldn't expect too much.

So by saying this, I am very happy with this product. I have had it for 3 days and have watched one hockey game and 2 movies. No its not the brightest picture or 1080p, but it definitely surpassed what I had in mind. It was definitely worth the money for me. I only gave it 4 stars because of the way it is connected to the ceiling mount. But all in all I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I have been using this as a TV for more then a year now. It is about ten feet from the wall, and it makes a very bright screen, even with the lights on (although best in a dark room, of course.) The projector has been knocked over to the floor by the cats a few times (they like to sit on it) but is still hanging in there. Haven't had to replace bulb yet.

I will say that if you are a perfectionist, you will need to spend more money. Yes, there is a "screen door" effect, but it's not really noticeable from a few feet away. True, the picture is dimmer and slightly fuzzier then on a normal flat-screen TV. When I go to a friends house, I do note that the picture is slightly sharper and brighter. But, the thing about human eyes is that they adjust-- after a minute or so, you won't notice and won't care about these minor imperfections while still enjoying a very large screen to view your TV shows and movies on.

As soon as I opened the package, I assembled the projector and connected it to the laptop and power source. The power cord was loose at the point of contact on the projector...the plug kept falling off and the projector shut down immediately 3-4 times. I called AMAZON and asked to replace just the cord and I was told to return everything for an exchange. With constant trainings going on at our agency, I could not afford the down time and thought it absurd to waste time and postage for a simple cord. I switched out the old cord from old projector and now the projector gets much use. The images are bright and sharp on the screen. The unit is quiet as it projects the images.

My wife and I use this projector for a home theatre. Works great and we hven't had any problems with in for a year now.

Great picture for movies/films! Sure it isn't HD, but viewing from a distance over 4 feet it's hard to really tell anyway. The color, contrast, and brightness are all outstanding on this device. Well worth the money.

I did a ton of research before deciding on this particular projector and have been extremely happy. Be aware the speakers in the projector itself are terrible but it can easily be hooked up to external speakers. We've watched several shows/movies inside projecting on a blank wall in the living room. Even at dusk when there's still decent light outside, this thing projects a bright enough image to watch. Our primary reason for purchasing this projector, however, was for an outdoor movies. It works really well for us.

So far, so good with this projector. It hooks up fairly easily and without the fussiness of previous projectors we've used. The projection quality is decent. It's a bit noisy, but not overly so. Overall, this does the job for the money and we are happy with it. My only suggestion would be that the company provide a bag with the projector. It's just one of those small things that would have made our lives easier, and would be beneficial for storing the projector.

Is a great model for the lower price, But I lost my lamp within 13 months at 1800 hours usage, Not met the specified 6000-10000 hours, Which is disappointing.3D feature worked fine, I purchased Sainsonic 3D glasses which worked like a charm.Overall performance was fine in the working time. I heard a big noise while watching a movie, Found the lamp broken within 13 months of purchase, which disappointed me, Otherwise I'll be giving 5 stars rating.

Oh my goodness! Wow! This projector is awesome for the price I paid for it. Easy to use and setup. Instead of watching movies or shows on our TV we have been using it to project on a white wall in my living room. It is like having your own home theater at home. I can't wait to start using it outside over the summer. My kids and husband love it too. I also used it to project a birthday video I made for my Aunt's 90th birthday off my IPAD and it worked great! All you need for this projector is speakers. I used some computer speakers I had that are 11 years old and the sound was AMAZING! Who new old speakers would sound so great! Highly recommend this projector for both Home, Play or Office environments.

Amazing projector for the price! Plays everything I've ever wanted to play and absolutely no trouble setting it up. Was projecting crisp, bright, huge images on my wall within 15 minutes of opening the box. Can watch it with lights on and still see the picture well.

The built-in speakers are worthless, but that should not be an issue since most everyone these days have bluetooth/WiFi speakers. I just hooked up one of my bluetooth speakers to the projector with an aux cable and now have incredible sound.

My wife use it in the chuch meeting and in the baby boomers society. It is simply and with a good quality.

This thing has already been repaired twice and I have owned this less than a year. I am afraid to use it again because my warranty is running out and if it goes out this was basically a paper weight.

Had this now for nearly a year and its still going strong and it does look like HD. We even hookup out amazon firestick and chromecast to it when the cable box isnt on it. It always looks great.

One of the best decisions iv made. Haven't had it for that long, but works great and I can even see the screen during the day with the windows and lights on! Grant you, the screen is a lot better/brighter at night. Wont ever buy a TV for the living room again-I plan on keeping this projector around for a long time. Better than expected, and it was shipped very securely. Tip: Point it directly at the wall, not at an angle

The projector was better than we expected. Very easy set up, really great picture. We brought it outside at dusk, hooked up our cable box, and projected onto a white sheet. It was very easy to disconnect and bring inside when we were done too. Our only disappointment was that the sound wasn't that great, but that was easily corrected with a soundbar the next time we used it. Highly suggested for outdoor movie nights.

Good picture. Works great. Sleep timer is immensely helpful. Doesn't generate much heat. Relatively quiet. It's a little too bright to fall asleep with it running. Limited customisation/screen placement adjustment. I highly recommend getting a projector mount because of the limitations. Shelf use is very difficult. If you use a shelf, make sure it is open ended. This will overheat.
