I purchased this headset to replace an old broken one. The PC151 has worked perfectly out of the box. Decent sound, good mic sound quality, easy to use controls, and comfortable. Glad I bought these - got another for my college student daughter's laptop.

Outstanding headphones. Great sound very comfortable and despite negative other reviews on the volume reostat; it works just fine on mine. You do have to preset the volume range on the computer at the control panel sound, prior to starting a game.Didn't even have to load software.The headphones are quite comfortable over long use. The cord is plenty long and there are even pictures on the microphone and headphone jacks, so even a nincompoop can get them in the right socket.I can't think of any complaints. I am using mine primarily for gaming.

When I received the first one, I was surprised at how bad is the quality of sound and the Mic. Were extremely noisy, so I thought I got a defective one then I ordered the replacement, it arrived and had the same issues, I have read a lot of good reviews on this headset but my experience with this was terrible

i always had the problem of "painful ears" because i play games for hours everyday.this headset is by far the best i have tried.now i can set and play with these phones around my head for 8 hours no problem , except one thing : i feel that my ear is sweaty and somewhat hot. i wish they added a very small fan (strange idea) to each ear to aid circulate air.

The price does seem steep for gaming headphones but after spending the money for the baracuda headphones and they breaking within six months of regular use I decided to try Sennheiser. So far they have worked great no problems what so ever with the voice audio working great, it is easy to set up through your computer. Definiantly worth the money for this type of quality and the comfortis nice as well. I haven't had any sore ears fromconstant hours of gameplay.

Unfortunately I received an open box defeat. The package had already been opened previously from the looks of things. The headphones lacked bass which really surprised me since I have read so many say that the bass was awesome. Second defeat was the inline volume control, the control went from loud to really loud and would not adjust the volume below that.I called Sennheiser customer support, they acknowledged that it was indeed defective and offered to repair it under warrenty but instead I opted to send it back to Amazon for a replacement since I had just received it that day. Be wary when buying from other vendors, the Sennheiser customer support rep told me that they only honor the warrenty when sold through their authorized vendor, Amazon is one but some of the vendors that sell through Amazon are not.Really hoping the replacement is flawless or I will be returning those for a refund this time but unforunately I will have to give it a 1 star until I get those in.

I was going to complain a bit about these headphones. I was using the built-in sound card from my Dell. Then I bought a Soundblaster X-FI Gaming card. Man, these headphones sound awesome. The soundblaster is THX and DTS certified. It has a 3D setting that allows you to test. You really hear the 3D in these headphones compared to other headphones I've plugged in since I bought the card. The bass is crisp. The mic is actually too good. I had to keep it slightly lower than my mouth. Granted the sound card has a headphone setting, but that's the idea. Headphones should sound clear and crisp. If you can afford these I highly recommend them.

I've owned many headsets in the past (mostly crappy ones), and this one blows most of them out of the water, while being priced very competitively. The sound quality and the microphone are both impressive and the cord is plenty long, if a little flimsy. I use this for gaming, VOIP, music, and everything else. It simply doesn't disappoint.Also, I'm somewhat surprised from how many reviewers here find this headset uncomfortable, considering that I have a pretty big head and it suits me just fine.

I am very pleased with my Sennheiser headset, I travel frequently with them folded inside my laptop bag, they are comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. I couldn't be more pleased.

This is my second headset that I got to replace my land line for VOIP. I occasionally use it for chatting or on Teamspeak. So far I am very satisfied with it for the value. The sound is fantastic and the microphone works a lot better that my old set.Pros:Sennheiser quality soundGreat microphone qualityComfortable and easy to wear for long periodsCons:A little wide across the top of the head - can fall forward/backwardPricier than other brandsWhile this headset may be a little pricier than other models, its build quality is in line with that price and the sound quality both in and out is fantastic.

Excellent quality headset - comfortable to wear. Microphone quality and sound quality is the best I have experienced. The excellent sound seal of and comfort of the phones to wear for extended periods is great, though, they can be a little warm in a hot room. For Ventrilo, other users said I sound much better than even my previous Sennheisers. I think they were a little on the expensive side, however, feel they were certainly worth the cost. If you aren't looking for excellent, excellent sound, might be better with a less costly pair.

the sound is excellent when i got this stuff,but seems just good,not well work after 1 week,anyway,it's comfortable,and the microphone is quite good ,when i talk with friend,there is no noise inside.Clear enough!

I was looking for a decent headphone/microphone to create decent quality video lessons at work. I looked around and found these and purchased them after reading so many good reviews. These headphones are amongst the best I have ever heard, especially at this price range. The microphone does a great job as well. Now they double as my lunchtime entertainment, listening to my favorite music. I have a very large head, and with them adjusted all the way out, they fit just fine and are very comfortable. Now they don't see everyday use, but they have held up very well. They are at least a year old now and you would never know it to see them. I am about ready to buy a second pair for home and church sound booth use. If you are on the fence, get off the fence and just buy them, you will not be sorry.

Got this set in today and I must say for a $250 dollar headset it comes with very little extras(no 1/4 adapter etcc..)All you get is the headset.Pros:-The sound is amazing. This is the first headset that after playing with the EQ settings you can actually get these bad boys to vibrate pretty hard from the bass with no distortion. In fact I can turn everything all the way up and get no distortion.-The mic is great no reverb and the inline mute works well-Closed design really does eliminate outside noise for the most part.I would say about 80 percent or so.-Build quality is amazing-very comfortable-And I must say this headset is prettyCons:-The inline volume is almost useless. If you turn it all the way down it doesnt go mute or even close to it I would say all the way down on the little wheel thing is 50 percent volume and of course all the way up on the wheel is 100 percent.I am not sure if mine is defective or maybee thats the way high end phones are.I use the PC volume anyway so it doesnt bother me too much.Overall I love them and if it werent for the volume wheel I would have gave it 5 stars.

Best headset I've ever owned! Very comfy, although they took about a week to break in... but I can wear them for hours and not be bothered. Good, solid feeling construction too. My bf's headphones recently broke, and he is getting a pair of these too after seeing mine.

I have to applaud the Sennheiser designers and engineers for creating what will clearly be the headset of choice for competitive gamers. Lets get straight to the pro's and con'sPRO:-amazing sound quality. hands down the best outside of the mighty HD650 and HD600-the detail is phenomenal. i was missing a lot of stuff before! I could hear my enemies footsteps long before I turned around and BAM! FRAG!-noise cancelling mic works as advertised..brilliant speech reproduction. counter strike raids have never been easier or felt cooler.-built like a tank but still comfortable. WTF? I know what you're thinking but its actually possible for a headset to be durable and comfortable-isolating earcups do a great job WITHOUT getting hot and sweaty-inline volume is rocking, mute switch is good-cable is seems very durablecon's-it wasn't free (hey you gotta complain about SOMETHING)I already have a high end soundcard (XFi) so there is no need for USB.

This is the single best headset I have ever owned. Amazing sound quality on both the speakers and mic. nice long cord. suprisingly lightweight and comfortable expecially for its size. May be pricey for some but worth every penny in my opinion.Edit4 1/2 years later and after 1-3 hours of daily use they still sound and work great but unfortuantely the rubbery/plastic coating on the foam pads has almost entirely worn/fallen off. This sarted happening after about 3 years of use. The pads look like they just snap in and out but unfortunately senheiser doesn't seem to offer replacements =[

Just received this headset yesterday, and I can tell you they are the best headphones/headset I have owned yet. They are well worth the price that Amazon is selling them for. The detail in my games is amazing now. I used to just use my 5.1 setup, but believe it or not, the stereo headphones sound much more detailed and I can definately tell where all the sounds are coming from. Microphone is supurb also, I used to use a usb mic and it sounded ok, but everyone always said it was just a little scratchy. As soon as I started using this headset my friends immediately commented that I must have gotten a new MIC because I sould nice and clear now. BTW, My set did not come with a USB converter like someone else commented about.

While the PC 350 is an expensive headset, I am very impressed by the quality of construction and quality of sound reproduction. Additionally, the microphone is superb. Highly recommended.

This is my 2nd Sennheiser PC151. I had the first one for almost 2 years and it worked perfectly regardless of how many times I dropped it or tripped on the cord. I moved recently and left mine behind. I thought my little laptop headset would cut-it but it doesnt compare to my old Sennheiser PC151. Theres a newer version out but I never given how I never had any problems with this one - might as well save $$$ and stick to my tried and true.Highly recommended. The output is clear, the noise canceling works!

These headphones are very expensive, it was quite the gamble to buy them. But, they are very good and i'm glad that I did, I play WOW and sometimes have my headphones on for 10 hours at a time, these cup my whole ear and drown out any other sound in my house. I highly recommend these to anyone .

Just got these babies and they are soooo comfortable. No earaches no headaches, nothing. The tension of the band is just right. The volume can be controlled with an inline dial. It won't shut the sound off, merely lower it. Construction is pretty much rock solid. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The audio quality is pretty much what you'd expect from Sennheiser. My teammate even commented on how "nice and natural" my voice sounded compared to my cheap old microphone. It folds into a compact shape capable for storage anywhere. It's really a beautifully manufactured piece of equipment.

This is a comfortable headset with cloth cover material over average size ear covers. Nice inline volume control with switch for mute. Long cord for reaching behind that computer on the floor. Good sound and sensitive microphone , great for fraging and talking with friends. Color coded microphone and sound plugs make it easy to identify where your plugs go. Sennheiser has mad a good product for average use. For long term use I would have to recommend one of their pricier headsets with bigger ear covers as they are more comfortable for long term use / gaming sessions.

I had been looking for a new headset for a long while. I've used Logitech, Plantronics and no-name brands over the years. I've always struggled with trying to find a headset that was comfortable to wear for hours on end (I wear glasses plus play games for long stretches) that also had excellent sound quality both for me and from the mic.Until I bought the PC350s, I had yet to find a headset that would satisfy me.They are very well made, they sound amazing, they're comfortable (although a little heavy, but not too bad).I did not buy mine from [...], since I was able to find it elsewhere for nearly $[...] less. I did have to wait nearly 3 weeks to get them, though, since they are so new.

I bought these after a serious failure with 3 plantronics sets where the microphone kept going out. I had heard the name from my gamer friends so I made the leap and bought them, I am incredibly happy with them. I have yet to have ANY problems with them, they work for listenng to music, playing games, etc. They are super comfortable too, I often forget I am wearing them!

I've been very happy with these headphones. Sound quality is excellent and fellow gamers never have trouble understanding me (good mic). They are also fit snugly but remain very comfortable even during long sessions. I'm glad I invested in a high quality headset.

When I first received this headset, I thought it was amazing... but each week it seems to be getting worse and worse. As I am playing games, specific sounds are all muffled and scratchy. I would like to get a refund, but I don't know how. And since it was from ValleySeek, I don't think I will be allowed one.

I've always heard Sennheiser brand gaming headsets are the best, but was deterred by the prices. But when I saw the price of this headset, I had to give it a try. I bought two pair, one for my son and one for me. We are both very pleased with the quality. I would recommend this headset to any gamer.

Just one important thing: a (the) USB adapter should be included (not least with Mac users in mind) - an upgraded USB adapter that has a max volume that is just as loud as that through mic-in/sound-out (the USB adapter that shipped through 2007 lowers the volume range by about 30% relative to the one achieved directly through the jacks).

Highs: B+Mids: B+Bass: BSkype: AThese headsets are not all that great for music or gaming. They have good overall sound reproduction, very clear across all frequencies but they lack punch. They do just fine when used for TV shows, some movies and casual music.The main reason I got them is for Skype, since they have a great mic. There is no way a person on the other end can tell it is a VOIP call.The other issue being, they feel like they are pressing against your ears and you will start adjusting them again and again after a while and that becomes irritating.For: Skype, TV Shows, Casual MusicNot For: Bass, Serious music lovers & gamers

Resulta una excelente opci?n para pel?culas e instrumentos electr?nicos, con sonido envolvente, bajos resaltantes, buen aislamiento, en unos auriculares liviandos y comodos. No he podido evaluar apropiadamente el micr?fono que viene incorporado, pero advierto que no tiene la impedancia apropiada para sustituir micr?fonos para karaoke o entradas para un piano electr?nico.

My husband wanted this headset after reading reviews from other customers. He uses it with his laptop when he makes his long distance calls using Skype. He has some hearing loss, but with this headset, he can hear everyone clearly! Other people say that he sounds clear, too! When he listens to music on his boombox, he hears things he never heard before with his old headset. He says they are very comfortable and loves them! I ordered a pair for myself after trying them! I am hard of hearing, but I work from home and mostof my work is done over the phone. All of the headsetsI have had in the past were monoaural (only for one ear)and did not magnify the sound enough. This headset helpsfrom being binaural (for both ears), but also becausethe volume is high enough to really help. In fact,I have had to turn the volume down on my phone formost conversations. It has truly chasnged my life!

The sound quality on this headset is very good. The only problem is comfort level of this headset. Like the other reviewer, I find the headset presses or squeezes your head rather tightly. I can only wear it for about an hour or two.Not a bad buy for the price but I recommend you spend a bit more for the Sennheiser PC150 or PC160 series. They are lot more comfortable.

The headphones produce very high quality sound throughout the range, though I would like a bit more crispness at the high end. They are very comfortable on the head, and the built-in mic adds a lot to their value, if you do internet telephoning.

Good price and good quality. Not as good quality as the high-end Sennheiser phones but still good. The mic is short but very good. I speak softly and the mic doesn't reach my mouth but ppl can still hear me perfectly. I had a Plantronics before and it was bad compared to this.The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because it did fit snugly on my head. I want the headphone to fit well even if I move my head a lot. It is better than the Plantronics that constantly fell off when leaning forward.

I own three sets of Sennheiser Earphones, two for my ipod, This model replaced a Logitech pair(the wire on the Logitech broke) that I use primarily for Skype. I highly recommend the PC151 for the comfort, they are very lightweight and don't begin to feel heavy after a long hours of use, their incredible sound quality and the fact that it has an adjustible volume control on the cord. These are worth the extra expense. Works great on a MacBook Pro too!

I actually purchased this for a WoW friend who did not have a headset. I use a more expensive Sennheiser model. But my buddy says this is a fantastic headset and is very, very pleased with it. The only negative I could mention is that my headset tends to hurt my ears after a few hours of wear but the sound quality is perfect and the ease of use is definitely "there".

The Sennheiser SH350 has clear sound, is comfortable to use, and just plain top quality. However, it does not come with any additional connector for use with a cordless telephone. I called the company, was extremely pleased with the help of their customer service department. It did take quite a while to get the additional extention, and the cost was more than I had anticipated. The end result is well worth the extra effort and added cost.
