Paired this with an Asus sound card, and couldnt be happier. For those who think these dont put out excellent sound, I suggest you take a look at your MOBO and see if you are still using an onboard sound card. I suspect those who say the sound isnt very loud is because they do not have a sound card with a built in amp for this power hungry set. Try looking at a cheap ASUS Xonar DG5.1, those things run around $20 with a built in amp and its criminal how much higher end models are charging for what you can get out of the lower end ASUS models. Would buy this again, even if the price went up $50!!!

Sennheiser makes good headphones. I've had the original PC 31 headphones, and this version is more comfortable to wear over extended periods of time. I wear glasses and the originals hurt my ears after a few hours, these don't. I think it's the thicker ear padding. The sound is as usual very good, nice bass. The microphone is also very clear sounding, unlike many other headsets by other companies. For the money, this is a quality choice. The Germans really do make some of the best electronics, at least in the audiophile department. They do sit a little tight on the ears (lightly) but it doesn't hurt at all, and you don't notice it when using them (I'm used to a cheap very light pair of headphones). They're pretty light and this is one of the reasons I've chosen this one over the more expensive big professional gaming headsets. Overall, I recommend this version of this headset.EDIT: Maybe I should write that these headsets use the standard 3.5 mm headphone jacks. I've owned a USB headset before, and I find the headphone jacks to be more reliable. So it's worth noting.

Sennheiser PC 323D is a 7.1 surround sound headset. It comes with it's own 7.1 USB sound card and uses Dolby ProLogic IIx technology. This model delivers engrossing 6.1 and 7.1 surround sound from both stereo and 5.1 content. The headset is impressive. Very soft cushions of velour hug your ears and will fit your head comfortably and precisely. You just slide the mic into place. It is unbelievably comfortable. It uses an open-acoustic design to keep you cool. CircleFlex features floating ear pads adjusting to your head. The sound and special effects are realistic and brings crystal clear, smooth sounds and amazing depth. You'll hear precise explosive sounds and it'll bring you into action.Communications :The noise canceling microphone reduces background noise for clear, crisp conversation. Mute the mic by simply raising the boom arm. To adjust the volume just rotate the dial on the right ear cup.The differences between the new PC 323D and the older PC333D model that I noticed are:PC 323D uses Dolby Pro Logic IIx.PC 323D is lighter weightPC 323D has vents for air circulation and prevents your head getting hot, the PC 333D is without these vents.PC 323D uses CircleFlex, the prior model does not have this feature.Sennheiser is a master of ingenuity and progression in it's field. It only produces very high quality sound equipment. This product features a 2 year warranty. This is definitely the right choice for optimum gaming experience and I recommend it highly.

My primary use for these is teamchat for online games. In that context the sound quality is excellent from both the microphone and the headset. My buddy immediately heard the difference in the clarity of my voice in his headset. That's coming from a Logitech wireless set that is adequate but uncomfortable after awhile. These Sennys are much easier on the ears and still comfortable after a few hours. You can use them for music too. They're ok for that but no match for a real headphone like the HD600. If you want extremely good sound quality look up in the Sennheiser line. For grins I plugged this headset into my Little Dot Mk III tube headphone amp. Certainly better than the driver built into my keyboard but nothing like the 600. If you like it loud you might look elsewhere because while they get loud enough to cause hearing damage with continuous use, they're sort of limited when plugged into the computer. With the tube amp they'll rock out but the USB driver built into my keyboard just didn't have the drive voltage for that. Fine for communications. They're a little bit flimsy. If you're rough with them I expect they'll break. The connectors aren't very robust either. I expect I'll by soldering new ones on in a few years. I would give 3 stars for these things but I went with 4 because of their high sound quality versus the low price.Sennheiser forgot to identify which side is left/right. The side with the microphone is the left side.

I am still expecting to receive my Sound Blaster Z this week and I can't wait. From onboard sound, it sounds great. Volume is a little lacking as your MB is not going to provide the power needed to push this headset. I listened to them through my surround sound and was blown away. I am no audiophial yet, but I am trying to become one. I think they sound awesome and don't regret the $170 I spent. Many people will prefer the Logitech G930 Headset due to the wireless capability, but that headset is plagued with horrible drivers, and I am sooooo happy I went with these. RECOMMEND TO ALL.Note: You will need a Sound Card with an internal headphone amp, or an external Headphone Amp/DAC.

I noticed that a bunch of people recently had issues with their Sennheiser's quality, but I hoped I those were the exceptions. I guess not. My headset arrived factory sealed (and on time), but after close to an hour of fiddling with it I determined that yep, the mic was broken. You can hear a buzz when it's on, and that buzz disappears when you click the mute switch. And sometimes you can barely make out your voice coming through. Barely. I tried my wife's El Cheapo headset and that worked fine in the same jacks, so yes, the Sennheisers were bad.Judging from the timeline of good vs. bad reviews, it seems the bad reviews are also the more recent ones. Whatever the reason, I'd shy away from these.

Little more should need to be said, but if you're reading this I suppose you're looking for the details.First the comfort. Extremely good fit. It adjusts well, fits well even around my rather large ears and presses lightly against my head without feeling as if it's in any way loose, which is something I've experienced with other headsets. Part of this is probably due to how light this set is. It adds no uncomfortable pressure, both in weight and in fitting. The material too, feels more like a first class luxury than something you'd find in an electronic device. It's like wearing custom made velvet. As well, the fact that it breathes allows you to wear it for longer periods without any sort of heat buildup or general discomfort.Second, durability. Although it's not made from metal as some other expensive headsets might be, the plastic here is reasonably thick and the design is well-made. You won't be breaking this unless you try.Third, sound quality. One of the design features some might question is the fact that you can hear outside noises with this headset. Honestly, I did not like that feature when first hearing about it. I liked to sort of be stuck in my own little world. However, there were problems with this. Having all outside noise muted makes things disorientating after awhile and I found myself growing uncomfortable wearing such headsets. This is not a problem here. And really, even if you have background noise, it should not be an issue with the sound put up to a decent level. I've found it difficult to be distracted by outside noises when such good speakers are directly beside my ears. And these are good speakers. This is such good quality sound you will very literally hear details you never noticed before. Speech sounds as if the person was sitting directly beside you, music like you have your own personal orchestra. This can also be bad at times, however. If the source of the sound is bad quality it picks up the fine details in that as well and where once you might have heard light static you might now be able to identify each individual crackle. This, however, is more a compliment to the sound here than anything. Simply excellent quality. Although I should note you need to make sure you have a sound card to take advantage of it first. Do not waste $200+ on this headset if it's getting plugged into a $2 sound card. You just won't hear the quality I speak of.Fourth, microphone quality. Very good. Clear as day, good at detecting my voice above other noises without any distortion, no buzzing. Everything you could want from a modern day microphone.Fifth, extra features. There are some simple yet effective design elements present here which really stand out if you care to notice. There is a simple dial volume control on the right speaker which is easy to find and fine-tune your volume. This keeps the volume control off the boxes you often see attached in the middle of wired headsets which is usually a weak link and a common point of failure. Although there is no mute button for the mic which would have been a nice addition, you can raise the mic to mute it, where it will give you a tiny click to let you know you've passed between mute and non-muted.Final word: a headset worth every penny if you've got the money, the sound card to run it and a taste for the finer details in life.

For the money these cant be beat. I own and have tried many many gaming and regular and to my ears these are some of the best gaming headsets out there. Now obviously with Senn's you already know what you are going to get. Quality build and quality sound but the biggest knock on most of their cans is the low end or lack there of. Now these aren't going to shake your skull but trust me they get the job done. I use them with my Astro 5.8 Mix Amp Xbox and Battlefield 3. The sound is almost to much to handle at times (in a good way). The highs are crisp and the sound stage is amazing for a closed back set. I have no problem what-so-ever spotting where people come from and when someone is trying to sneak up on me. Thanks to these my C4 traps have been unstoppable!! I hear em coming drop a C4 wait until I see them and BOOM!! Steel Series Siberia V2 were just knocked off their perch as being my favorite gaming headsets under $100. Buy with confidence these are amazing. Yes they are a little tight but a night of stretching them over some books or a speaker and problem solved. Don't let that sway you, buy these headphones now :)

Let me start off by saying that people looking for a "bargain" should definitely looks elsewhere. That statement is by no means a knock on this product, but rather a statement of fact. You can buy quality audio headsets for a much lesser price through any number of retailers. That being said, the Sennheiser PC 360 headset will not disappoint those looking to spend more to get more out of their gaming experience.Sound - These headphones sounds exactly as you would expect from the price paid. Great detail, expansive soundstage, great separation of voices/instruments/effects, and detailed (Though definitely not powerful) bass.NOTE: These are "open" headphones, meaning they will leak sound out, and let environmental sound IN. Do NOT get these headphones if you have someone attempting to sleep or watch TV uninterrupted a few feet away. The good news is you wont be cut off from the world around you (Someone at the door, small childen crying, etc)Construction - These headphones are designed to be lightweight to facilitate hours of gaming. Looks can be deceiving, as these headphones look like and actually are made purely of plastic, but after extended use (and abuse) I can say they have held up excellently.Ease of Use - The PC 360 shines in this particular aspect due to the mic's on/off swivel, as well as the on-board sound adjuster, which is definitely a great convenience. The headphone cord is quite long, but I find this to be more of a help than a hindrance, as I plug my headset directly into my receiver which is a good 6 feet away. Those using a wireless option (Such as Astro's Mixamp 5.8), should definitely look to zip-tie the cord into a bundle.Overall, I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking to maximize their audio experience by being paying a bit more for added quality. To my knowledge, there is only 1 step up from this headset, and the competition weighs in at a whopping $350 retail. If you have to "settle" with this pair, I believe can safely promise you won't be disappointed.

Let me start off this review by saying that I'm not an expert in headsets, headphones, audio equipment or anything really. So, as long as something works well enough for my purposes and isn't terrible in some way, I'll be fine with it. That's also the same reason why I wouldn't buy any crazy expensive headsets just because they might be marginally better than a cheaper one. Now, as for this headset, I'm pretty darn satisfied with it. The sound quality seems good to me, I find them very comfy to wear and they block out sound reasonably well. I also like the fact that the volume control is so easy to reach (it's built into the right side of the headphones and is a sort wheel you can rotate) but I find that the volume thingy tends to get bumped sometimes when I pick up or put down the headset, so that's a bit of a problem. I like the fact that the mic automatically turns off when you flip it up - that's nice if you need to speak to someone else in the room. My only real complaint is that the cord could be a bit longer, but that's really not a huge problem (I could always get an extension cord for it, if I wanted to). Anyway, that's about all I can say on this item - it seems like a decent enough choice for anyone who's looking for a gaming headset, or even a slightly multipurpose headphone to use with their computer.

Yeah..these are awesome headsets... I use mine for its awesome recording ability. It makes awesome voice overs for videos that I make, and I just love using it on skype. Using skype is a great way for doing on-air radio interviews. Between the Sennheiser and the quality of skype, it sounds just like I am in the studio. Of course there is a problem with the Sennheiser cables, probably not much of a problem for you, but the cables going from the headset to the jacks is a nice long cord of thin twin wires...like thin spaghetti.Unfortunately, my beloved male Tabby cat (no greater life long companion than a male tabby... [yes, I'm married]) has a great affinity for desiring to eat through thin cables like this. Think power cables for cordless telephones. Not 120volt cables, those are too big. So there I am, sitting in a nice big leather chair, with my laptop on my lap, doing a great on-air interview with a radio personality. Life is good. I'm in the zone, conversation is excellent, I'm making great content, hits are piling up in real time on my website, there will be lots of future downloads of this .mp3 file....and my tabby is sitting between my feet on the ottoman to the leather chair, just happy to be near me, and I can't see him behind the laptop... He's munching on the SENNHEISER cable!! Yup...last minute of the interview was lost. Checked the laptop, checked skype, made sure the mic was not muted, no driver issues, rebooted... no problems, until I inspected the cable and found teeth marks and bare wires. The SOB ate through the wires of my $60 Sennheiser PC151 headset. Gotta love Amazon and Amazon Prime and $3.99 over night shipping. So that's the story of why I had to buy two of them. Lets hope it won't be three...and you know I won't be buying the $200+ Sennheiser headsets.... Don't believe me? Want to hear it for yourself, its the TSP interview #3 on solar1234 dot com, the one where I'm taking about making ethanol alcohol fuel for your car at home (honestly). Maybe I'll turn this into a real life story and publish it via Amazon on Kindle...look for it. "Revenge of the Tabby." actually, it would be "Revenge of the Tabby Owner"...or maybe "Sennheiser Feline Constipation Problems and Causes" would be a better title.Steve

I'm used to using a really old, cheap sony pair of headphones, so the sound quality is a nice step up for these. I'm also really happy that the mic picks up my voice really clearly, I tried a couple other similarly priced plantronics headsets before this set and the mic on them was consistently terrible. It doesn't have any inline controls, but that's not a huge deal for me since it's so easy to adjust the settings in the options menu when playing a game(I mostly use these for playing online pc games). One of the few headsets in this price range worth buying!

These are the best sounding PC headphones I have ever used. Regular sound is good enough but when you slide up the button to activate the 3D effect, it is unbelievable. Every sound is crystal clear and it almost sounds like you're not listening through headphones but experiencing sound from all angles from a high-end audio system. It's really hard to describe but nothing short of awesome. Game effects and music blend seamlessly with neither drowning out the other. The highs are nice and crisp and the lows are not overbearing. I can't say enough how great these sound. The mic records clear. When tested on a business system utilizing Avaya software, callers on the other end said I sounded clear as a bell, although I doubt anyone would buy this as a business headset. It's overkill. But for video conferencing, like Skype, it's good to have a clear mic. You can adjust volume via a wheel on the right headset and surround sound via the included driver software. Now for the bad... These things get uncomfortable, fast. Although they don't feel immediately tight, they do tend to apply uncomfortable pressure on the ears over time, especially the left side (the side with the mic). Eventually, it just gets a little too uncomfortable. Imagine someone pressing their finger into the top of your ear nonstop. I have a pretty big head, so I had my teenage son try it as well (luckily for him, he inherited his mother's smaller head size). Without telling him about my discomfort, he advised me that he experienced the same discomfort on the left ear from the headset. In fact, we both eventually removed the headset due to discomfort after a relatively short period. The headset size is adjustable but it doesn't seem to help much. I think it's in the design and way the pads apply pressure, not necessarily because they're too small. Also, when you remove the headphones, you have to fiddle with sound settings to get sound back through the PC speakers. It doesn't automatically default to PC speakers when the headset is removed. In all honesty, I will likely use these more for video conferencing or short gaming sessions rather than extended game play or music listening. It's a shame because the sound quality is top notch and they would be perfect for a marathon gaming or extended music listening session if they were more comfortable. If they can address the discomfort issue, they definitely have a winner on their hands. I rate the sound five stars and comfort two stars.

So far around you could seriously park a truck under them.Sound quality: 3/5Don't even bother listening to music on these things. Its like playing through a can of pringles.Mic Quality: 4/5Not sufficient padding to avoid your breath making popping noises, but if you crank up the quality in Windows you can get a really good voice out of it. Pretty great for meetings and online gaming.

As part of my participation in the Amazon Vines program, I received one in return for a review.I previously reviewed a different offering from the same manufacturer (the PC333D model), so I'll compare it to that. The sound quality of the 333 is better than the 310 as is the noise reduction from the padding at the ears. With the 310 on, I could still hear the things on the nearby television and my wife talking. If getting a set of headphones is more about blocking off the outside world, you may wish to look at a more expensive model. On the other hand, when my wife said something to me, I didn't have to remove my headphones and ask her to repeat herself (which irritates her to no end). For some, that might be considered a selling point.Where the 310 beats the 333D hands down is comfort. It sits easily on my head compared to the tight fit of the 333D. That really helps level the playing field between the two especially for people who plan to be using the headphones for extended periods of time. The only other noteworthy item is that the 333D used a USB connection and this model has the standard audio connectors for input and output. I don't think that standard is going anywhere soon, but there may come a time where computers and the like are only sold with usb coonectors. In summary, it provides decent sound quality, blocks most (but not all) of the surrounding noise from the listener and is comfortable for extended periods of use.

This is the best headset I've ever owned! Superb quality. I got this for $124 when the price went down on Amazon. I've had it for a few months now. It is comfortable enough to wear hours on end. I tend to wear a beanie a lot, so I wear the headset over it and it is still comfortable enough to wear for hours, though it starts to strain on the ears after the 3+ hour mark when wearing it over my hat. Without the hat, just over the ears, I've experienced 12+ hours of comfort because it just caresses the ears so well. On hot days it can get a little sweaty in the ears, but if you have proper cooling in your house, that shouldn't be an issue. The sound is amazing and you can rock out all day long listening to music or have fun chatting with friends or playing a game. While using Skype and Ventrilo I've been told I sound great with the mic and everything sounds crisp and clear on my end. There are a few adapters available on amazon for a normal cellphone or an iPhone which provide a lot more uses for this headset. I use my bluetooth while driving, but if you're like me and want to do things while you talk on the phone, these adapters are great for walking around the house and talking or listening to music. Cellphone speakers aren't always the best quality, so this additional function for the headset is amazing. The headset is collapsible, so it's easy to pack away. The volume and mute control are simple and easy to use. This headset can really pump the volume if you turn everything up all the way. It also has a decent amount of noise canceling with the earmuffs, so if you're up late at night with someone else in the house, be careful you don't start singing along with a song and wake up others. You'll be much louder than you think! lol.I've tried to save money on headsets in the past and the cheaper ones have always bit the dust after a few months to a year of use and I'd have to buy a new one. So my recommendation to you, if you're on the fence is to buy these! This is truly a quality item and will be well worth it in the long run. Sennheiser is a quality name and these don't disappoint.PROS: Absolutely Everything!CONS: This is sort of a double edged sword, but the cord is very long so its great in my opinion, but depending on how you use it, the cord can get twisted up once in a while and you might have to unwind it. But if you take care, this shouldn't be a problem.Overall Rating: 4.99 out of 5 (-.01 cause you've got to leave space to improve)Edit (After 1 year of use): The only thing to report is that the earmuffs have a scrunchy plastic coating on them when you receive them out of the box. After more than a year of really intensive daily use(seriously, I use this baby A LOT), the lower portion of that coating has since rubbed off of the ear cups. From the amount that I put these on and slide them off, it really is understandable and, for me, in no way diminishes this product. It is impossible to feel the difference while wearing them and is purely a "looks" issue. On a side note, from my year of experience I've come to appreciate how amazing this mic really is. I can literally whisper to the point I feel I'm almost just mouthing the words, but the person on the other end can hear me perfectly. It doesn't pick up things like breathing though, which is just amazing to me. Anyways, End point: I've only fallen more in love with these as the time has gone by.

Out of the research I did on gaming headsets, I discovered a trend in surround sound headphones lacking in the sound quality area for music and non gaming experiences. I knew Sennheiser was a reliable manufacturer of quality sound products so I decided on these headphones. The 3.5mm jack is convenient for my uses outside of PC gaming. I can use these headphones with my MP3 player, any handheld device, and most importantly my smartphone. The cord length can be annoying when using the headset for listening to music while holding the MP3 player, but the cord can be easily tucked in a pocket or slung around my neck. The volume adjuster on the right side of the headset is EXTREMELY convenient for the when you want to listen to something in your surroundings, have a conversation, or if it just gets too loud ingame or in your music. I personally never listen to them full blast for long periods of time because it can hurt your ears and it's unnecessary. The microphone is a quality piece of plastic with an adjustable section to contour to your cheek or to adjust away for your liking. The mute feature is useful if you have to prevent accidental transmissions if you use sound activated transmitting. For my PTT uses, it is convenient to just get the microphone out of the way.Comfort is PHENOMENAL. All headsets I have owned prior were uncomfortable after short durations. The headband on my other headsets would cause an extreme discomfort where they came in contact with my skull. The PC360s do not have ANY discomfort even after long durations of wear. I have worn these all day, through my studying all the way to the late night game sessions. The circumaural ear cups surround my ears well and do not compress my skull. The headband has great adjustability. The headphones will be small without any extending, and can expand to house even the largest brains. No overheating was experienced while wearing for long durations.Quality is great, I can hear approaching footsteps and the faintest sounds in my music, such as the breathing of concerto players and can distinguish instruments easily. Bass is not overwhelming but is present in music and gaming. I don't want my ears being shaken by large bass. I can use my speaker system for that.GREAT comfort, quality and versatility. Worth the money because these are not only gaming headphones, you can use them for all your audio needs.

While the comfort of this product is initially good and as I expected, the durability and quality of its construction is simply awful. I purchased this set of headphones a couple of years ago expecting a lasting investment for hours of listening. What I have now instead is peeling and tearing faux-leather earpieces due to the sweating they bolster, a faulty volume control unit (quite a common problem with the analog knob), and a non-functional microphone. These headphones were babied and never abused with LAN parties, simply kept at my desk on their hanger and worn as needed. I've had longer lasting $10 headphones, and I am utterly dismayed by the lack of resilience found in these headphones for the price - absolutely ridiculous.Don't waste your money on this one, you'll regret it in the long-run.

I usually use these when I do Livestreams during illustration. The sound is good and setup is actually easy. However, I do get tired after a while wearing them. They squeeze a bit too hard on the temples making it hard to wear them for long.I was using another motherboard at the time, that had Realtek Audio drivers. I noticed when doing video recordings, I'd get some odd feedback when using my Intuos Tablet and wearing the headset. It may actually be an issue with the motherboard or the AntecAntec Three Hundred ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case and its grounding the front USB cables to the front headphone jacks.Fortunately, after using this on another device and switching out the motherboard - I have to say these headphones aren't the cause of the feedback. The packaging is quite nice, and I do like the bags they have to protect the headphones and product. The sound is great, just the headphones are a bit uncomfortable.

Since getting these headphones, I've used them with Dragon Naturally Speaking and for listening to web videos. So far so good. They are good value for money. I returned the ones I had to Radio Shack as these were much better built and only a little more expensive. They are comfortable on my ears for many hours and the sound is very good. The microphone works great. The one thing I thought was a little odd is that they have more of a square shape than other headphones. This is an advantage if you wear a ball cap, however. The padding is thick at the top of the head for comfort. They do not block out outside noise very well, but I have other more expensive ear phones for that. I would recommend this item for those who are demanding, want good value for money but do not want to pay big bucks. They are built to last better than most at this price. Good buy!

I needed a gaming headset with good sound quality and built in mic. Many of the reviews and forums I read recommended purchasing audiophile grade headphones and a clip on mic. Most also recommended a discrete sound card. The onboard sound that accompanies my Asus Maximus 4 Extreme seemed to do well enough and I didn't want to invest in a discrete sound card as I don't think it is warranted unless performing tasks such as semi-pro recording and editing. I also really wanted a built in mic to keep cord clutter at a minimum. At first, I acquired the Logitech G930 wireless headset and was disappointed by the audio quality (see my review on the G930 for my reasoning). After returning the G930, I went with Sennheiser PC360 corded headset. I am glad I did. I don't consider myself an audio enthusiast, so I can't attest to the sound quality. To me, even with the onboard audio, sound was crisp, clear, loud, and offered decent base. Even with stereo sound, I was able to gain perspective of the origination of sounds in first person shooter games. I think the "7.1 surround sound" without individual speakers for each channel is a gimmick. The cord was long enough to reach my computer's front panel audio and mic inputs a few feet away with extra length to spare. The fact that the ear cups do not isolate the sound was a bit of a turnoff, but the advantage to the open cup design is that your ears don't sweat after prolonged use. The headset is very comfortable even after multiple hours of use. The padding is a felt-like material covering some type of memory foam. I prefer the PC360 padding over the pleather material used on the G930s. The mic does well at cancelling out ambient noise. None of my friends on Skype or Vent complained. The PC360 is pricey, but apparently it is one of the better headsets on the market. Only having used the G930s prior, I can't compare the PC360s to other comparable headsets. If you do decide to buy the PC360s, I doubt you will be disappointed. The PC360 probably warrants a 5 star rating for quality, but due to high price so-so noise isolation, I gave it 4.Update 08/27/2012: I've been using the PC360s for over a year now. I've decided to change my rating from a 4 to a 5. In my original review, I didn't fully understand the open ear design and assumed all headphones provided some noise isolation. The best thing about these headphones is that they are very comfortable and sound great. I have worn the PC360s for 8 hours straight without ear or head discomfort. The open ear design keeps your ears from becoming too sweaty from prolonged use. I highly recommend the PC360s.

High frequency seems muted somewhat. Mid tones are quite good. Bass is not real strong. In general good for what it is intended for. The ear cups are strange however, several hours of wear prove that they will be comfortable enough. The sound seems to emanate from the ring/cup area rather than any obvious speakers. The ear cups are incredibly thin and thus, it is possible to carry on ordinary convesation w/ anyone nearby while wearing them as sound goes in and out w/ ease. Different is the best thing to say. The microphone on/off is great and works. The volume control on the ear cup is wonderful and so much better thatn the lame inline roller style. That part is a big win. Recommended
