I have no complaints!I Love the product! With a flip of a button you go into surround sound.2 hour full charging time for 10 hour battery life, alert for low battery, and able to use when charging.fun voice morphing, light weight comfortable head piece, the fact that its wireless is awesome,easy access volume control on ear as well as mute button too and or flip up mic to mute. Not only does the mic flip up out of way when needed, it bends in as well.

March 15th, 2012 update - This is a great headset that does work as intended but you must be careful to grab the latest drivers from Logitech's website and then set them up correctly. That includes both the software setup and also removing other possibly interfering devices (like a cordless phone or another item in the 2.4 GHz band). As of the latest Dec, 2011 drivers, the Teamspeak, Ventrillo and Skype problems all seem to be fixed (at least on Windows 7 32 and 64 bit). I did not encounter and could not reproduce the microphone problems other folks have commented on, but I am using the latest drivers. However, you must be a bit detail oriented and make sure you make adjustments in the driver panel for separate applications (like Skype). Provided you can master that and are not a 14 year old Xbox 360 twitch gamer with dopamine deficiencies , these cans work splendidly. And if you dont have interfering devices, you will get the advertised forty feet (13m) wireless transmission distance. These headphones dont have true 7.1 capabilities (i.e. they use one analog speaker in each ear, instead of a true four speaker setup in each ear cup), rather they use head related tranfer functions (HRTFs) to emulate 7.1 using Dolby algorithms. The base is a bit weak and you only get about 11 hours of true gaming from a complete charge, but these are easily a 4.5 to 4.8 star product out of five stars. A bit of care with setup and you have a great product.

A very good headset for its price, the sound quality is brilliant and the 3D capabilities are really good. The only downside for this headset is the built quality, I get this feeling that it might break so easy if I hold it wrong or something it's build is not really that great but I love how it fits my head though. Other than that, it is an excellent headset as I mentioned before. I recommend it if you care about the price with a great sound capabilities for gaming..

I was in doubt before purchasing due to the cost and being wireless, but the sound quality is amazing, the construction is solid and better yet, no cables to get tangled under my chair, which is the cause of death of over 5 pairs of headphones I've already killed.The signal is pretty much as advertized, I find it a bit annoying on skype when the surround is on, and sound from games can be a bit overbearing, but nothing a bit of fiddling doesn't fix.The lack of a quick change for default playback device is a bit annoying for me since I also use speakers, but you can find third party programs and set one of the G keys to be the hotkey to change between sound devices quickly.I am very satisfied with this product, in fact, my wife is pushing me to buy her a set of her own.

It's way better than expected.Pros: Almost perfect comfort, you almost don't feel it sittin on your head Awesome sound quality Battery lives pretty long Great softwareCons: The headset can crackle with heavy sound, this is solved by turning the pre-amplifier all the way down to -12 db in the advanced equalizer with the software.Really worth its money!

Headset did not work with our computer. The best we could get was a constant ringing sound while in use. The headset was returned and Amazon was excellent with that process!

I use to go through headsets at least once a year so I decided to buy a somewhat more expensive one and with no regrets. The sound quality is great, noise reduction is fantastic, and voice quality is awesome. This one is MUCH more worth getting than its wired version because the wiring gets tangled and eventually will ruin the wire. The wireless on this is fantastic and it is nice you can use it plugged in too. I recommend this headset to anyone who is looking to get 2+ years out of one headset. And Logitech has awesome customer service too, I think it comes with a 2 year warranty.

This is my second pair of these. I had to order new ones because the piece where the wire connects to the headset was broken, and they couldn't charge. That pair lasted me over 2 years. The only downside to these is the default software for them. It has complications running with some programs. The voices are neat at first, but it is easier to use windows rather than the sound software that comes with them.

It's super easy to set up and just as easy to get/update software at Logitechs website. Two things do stand out that bother me, and I'm still on the fence whether I should swap this one for a different one. When playing a FPS, explosions will render static in the headset. Secondly, it is super sensitive to having other wireless items close by. Thankfully the long charging base has a long cord and I was able to move the base far enough away from other electronics. I did give it four stars because it is still super comfy to wear, the 7.1 surround still kicks butt, and it does do it's job providing clear sound (except explosions). I would still recommend this product but beware of the flaws. It could just be my headset, or I could still have some sort of interference.

Its hard for me to give this product a 5 Star rating because it stopped working after 15 months but those 15 months were nice. Only reason why I dont give it a 2 Star rating is because I feel Logitech makes quality products and I may have received one of their lesser ones.

This is a very nice, quality headset. Personally I've gone through Four wired headsets in the past 2 years which is incredibly frustrating and this headset keeps me from damaging its wires, because it doesn't have any!The sound quality is quite nice, has a surround sound function that works pretty well to be honest.The mic is good quality, doesn't tend to pick up fan noises, you simply push up to mute, whats not to love?Headset works across my apartment, the keys on the side let you skip songs, increase volume, play pause. I Really like this headset, you should get one.

I have had this headset for a couple of months now. Overall, it is very nice. It installed easily, the sound is great (I am not a sound expert though), and people I have VOIP conversations with say it sounds very clear.The reason that it gets 3 stars instead of 5 is because in order to conserve battery, it shuts off if it does not receive any output within a certain number of minutes. This is nice for saving battery life, but when I am receiving a phone call, and I have to turn it on and off several times to get it to reconnect, it makes it difficult to use for phone calls.Update:It is dead already; the battery will either not charge, or discharges in minutes. Very disappointing.

This is just my first impression.Set up:Setting up the software was easy, even if you lose the CD, you can always go to the Logitech website. The physical set up was easy as well. The charge cable is neat and can easily be rolled up.Headset:The headset itself is certainly big and can be uncomfortable if you do not adjust it, as long as you get it to fit you, it will be great.Sound:The sound is crystal clear and LOUD. You can always turn it down. The surround sound is clear but you should only use the SS if whatever you are doing actually has SS.Overall:I am happy I picked this headset over the others. Sure there are better ones out there, but I am very satisfied with my purchase and looking forward to a long time with these guys.My other thoughts, do not put the wireless dongle in a 3.0 USB port, it does not groove well with the headset, I may be an isolated incident but why risk it? 2.0 is perfect.I heard nothing but static the first time on, a quick restart and it was PERFECT from then after.The headset can be a bit uncomfortable after long hours but that is the same with every headset.I never use the voice mixer, the mic is great and picks up A LOT which can be good or bad depending on how you feel about it.This headset is a solid investment.BEST PART is the RANGE!!!!!!!!!!HOLY GOD, I can literally walk down the stairs to the kitchen and STILL hear everything that is going on in perfect clarity.

I ordered this headset and I must say its the best Headset I've ever ordered.This headset is amazingly comfortable and the sound quality is amazing and at times you almost forget you're wearing them since they sit so comfortably on your head.Pros:1.Comfortable2.Great Sound Quality3.Good voice receiver quality4.Mic can be easily adjusted5.The software it comes with gives you customization options for optimal enjoymentCons:1.The Power button is a little slow turning it off and on and usually requires you to hold it for about 5 seconds before anything happens.Rating:9/10

I love this headset but it does have one problem. If you look up reviews on this product you'll likely see that the wireless cuts in and out frequently. From what I can tell, there was a defect in a batch of these headsets. When I called in after the basic trouble shooting was done and the product identification numbers were given to customer service, they immediately send me a new headset.This new headset is far better but still suffers from the dropped connection from time to time but not nearly as bad as the initial headset.

I purchased the G930 so I could maintain the ability to talk as I moved away from my computer on occasion. When I got the headset it worked like a dream, until a day or so later when I started to notice the right speaker going down in volume and then completely quiet, and this is with a full charge! I'd turn it off then back on, played with the mixer settings in the Logitech Gaming Software as well as my PCs mixer, but never found a solution. One day, as I was sorting through the plethora of other people complaining about the same problem on Logitech's forums (hey, kudos for actually having a forum on your site though) I tried plugging it in while I was using it (I had done this before, because you can still use it while it's charging) and all of a sudden my right audio was full volume. I continue to use this fix but for the money I payed for this headset I should never have had this problem and I certainly shouldn't have to continue putting up with it.I own a Logitech G15 (original), G9 Mouse and G13 gaming pad. I love them all, have had zero problems (hell, I've had my keyboard since 2006-7) but this headset is on the verge of souring Logitech products with me.

These arrived on time as everything does with Amazon. The packaging felt cheap and initially I thought I was buying something average. Turns out the product itself is far superior than the packaging. They feel well built, sturdy and like high precision instrument. I play BF3 and when in game I can hear the sound coming from the correct direction which is why I wanted surround sound. I'm not a big audio expert so I can't say whether the frequencies are right or wrong, but I can say is everything is clear and as I'd expect it to be. I don't get any distortion or sounds that don't belong, even at full volume.When I first used the headphones the volume control on the headset didn't work, but I updated the driver and everything works just dandy.These headphones sound great, everything works and I like the feel and look of the equipment. That's 5 stars!

Been using this for about a month now, and sound quality is awesome. I use it to play BF3, Skyrim, and Diablo 3. I have not had any issues with the mic's performance in either Ventrillo, Teamspeak, or BF3's Battlelog chat function. Battery seems to be fine. I used it the day of D3's release in Teamspeak for 6 hours. Range is good also. I can easily go to the kitchen or bathroom without signal loss. When you are not using the mic and it is in the up position, it has an automatic mute function, and when you mute it when in the down position, there is a red LED light indicating it is muted. Plenty of room from the cushion to the actual speakers themselves to eliminate the dreaded ear pain from wearing them too long. Only down side is your ears do slightly prespire during extended use, but the ear pieces swivel 90 degrees to allow a quick break. Well worth the $$ if you don't want to be tied to your PC.

Power button has issues (e.g. you usually have to push the power button five+ times over a period of 20 seconds to get it to turn on). Doesn't hold a charge after three months of light use.

If your looking for a headset that has alot of features and works well. This is it, Wireless option is nice to have. 10hr battery life with full charge. You can go around the house with the headset on. And program one of the buttons for push to talk. Dont miss a beat. Must buy for PC ppl.

To me, Comfort is TOP Priority as my ears are quite sensitive, and prone to discomfort after even 15 minutes of usage.This headset, however, does not disappoint. SOOO COMFORTABLE after 5 hours straight up gaming. The sound, may I say: AMAZING!!!!!!You will not disappoint, trust me. I'm EXTREMELY picky when it comes to comfort in a headset.

I'm glad I waited a while to review this.First off, the Pros.+ Amazing Sound Quality+ Decent Mic Quality+ Surround Sound+ Wireless+ G-Keys(There is also Voice Morphing, but customization is limited so I didn't note it in the Pros)Then of course, the Cons.- Finicky Charging- Fragile Micro USB PortNow of course, the main problem I have with this headset is the Charging and Micro USB. After about 2 months of use, charging became more difficult, causing me to adjust the wire in various positions to make the charge successful. Eventually the adjusting caused the micro USB port to break, making the headset useless without a charge. I would use the warranty to get it replaced or get my money back, but having lost the receipt and having this be considered an "Accident Driven Damage", I cannot get my money back.I would suggest finding a different model, maybe one with similar features instead for purchase. But if you are willing to take the risk, keep the receipt and return it at the first sign of charging problems.

My 1 complaint is that there is no toggle to swap between regular speakers and headphones. you have to unplug the USB antenna to swap out to regular speakers.

These are the best headsets I have ever purchased ! The over-the-ear fit allows you to wear them for hours in complete comfort. The 10 hour rechargeble battery life allows me to take a nap while listening to my favorite music and the 7.1 surround sound is incredible !! These headsets have a built-in graphic equalizer and Morphing technology. It's great fun changing your voice while gaming or over the phone while connected with your magicjack device. These are by far the best money I have ever spent for a pair of headsets. My compliments to Logitech !!!

there some problem with the mic but i think thats due to logitech driver. search the web and they dont have the fix yet.sound got very weak bass, it you turn it just abit high it start having crack sound.is ok as gaming headset.

Since no one has time to read 600 reviews I have summarized this.1. Excellent for people who skype all day.2. Not a quality gaming headset for the serious FPS gamer. Look elsewhere.3. Software is a PIA / waste of time.4. Battery life is acceptable. USB recharge port hard to connect.5. Power button delay is really annoying. So much I went back to a wired traditional headset.6. Fragile construction - IT WILL BREAK after a year.7. Material Used / Feel - seems like a kids toy.8. Great intentions with this headset but it's not a finished product.

It occasionally de-sync's for 5 seconds or so, and will also sometimes have a few seconds of static from interference. However, for the price, they work perfectly fine. The surround sound works ok, though I suspect better headphones would have more accurate sound distribution.

Great price, great building quality, the battery last as least 7h with surround on.Perfect to see movies or play games.Recommend this headset to anyone.Just one thing.. It's a little bit heavy to use for extremely long periods of time.. (+ 7h).

So, I don't usually write reviews but I have to say a few words on this headset. First, I am a huge logitech fanboy, as many people are, but this is the first product I have ever purchased from them where I simply had to return it. The biggest problem is the sound!!! I'm talking about a crackling mess when ever the sound reaches deep bass. The problem, however, varies between computers. For example, my laptop does not cause the crackling and popping sound while my desktop does, both machines are windows 7 64bit. A theory floating around the logitech website community forums is that it may be due to low powered USB's dependent on the users motherboard; thus, for some people this popping and cracking was resolved by purchasing a powered USB hub. So, I went out and bought a powered usb hub, yet my problem still persisted.For anyone looking to buy this headset, please be aware of the many, many faults that are being reported. Yes, the construction is very fragile for something that costs $160, but, IMO, I can live with that. The microphone voice morphing does not ever seem to work, even after uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers countless times...yet, without the voice morphing the mic sounds like a regular old mic--I can live with that. However, I cannot live with the sound of bombs and gunshots going off on Battlefield Bad Company 2 resembling the sound of Jiffy Pop and crumpled Sun Chip bags. The problem may be in the developers drivers or it may be the headset. Either way, I had to, for the first time in my life, return a logitech product I had hoped would revolutionize gaming audio. The surround sound, however, is good and would be amazing if only the bass popping and cracking disappeared!Nevertheless, the headphones are nice if you dont care for deep bass. In fact, they are usable in this case. For me, I want to take advantage of low bass, it's what I like. Thus, I use the built in equalizer for the headphones. Unfortunately, you cannot increase the bass (both in the advanced equalizer or simple equalizer)without experiencing distortion, popping, cracking, etc., as a result. For more information on the problems many users are experiencing with these headphones, please go to logitechs main page, search for the G930 head set, and go to the community support forums ([...]). You will be aghast at the number of complaints people are having. It's sad, really, for logitech, I would never had expected this.

I won't repeat what others have written - nice concept, good sound isolation.Software (v8.35.18) is terrible - very unstable, numerous crashes of different types. Message boards full of similar complaints.Now I am using the headset without special features, without surround sound, with standard Windows drivers. That is a disappointment.Hopefully they will eventually fix the s/w.

I purchased this headset back in February of 2011, and let me say that it's been a great experience due to the consistent performance of this quality product. The Dolby 7.1 surround sound is perfect, and blows my previous Plantronics Gamecom 777 headset clear out of the water. The only complaint I even have about this headset is the fact that I have had two friends complain of problems with their battery life after the first year of using this headset, although two other friends and I have had no problems regarding battery life to date. Overall the G930 is an awesome headset and I'd definitely recommend buying one if you're looking for a fantastic gaming headset.
