Pros:Battery - It lasts 6+ Hours, and charges in less than 45 minutes.Sound - Crisp, clear, even sound.Comfort - I have worn these 6 hours straight with no discomfort.Programmable buttons - Work flawlessly with Ventrilo, and WMPCons:Programmable buttons - A dedicated Stop/Play, Next Track, and Last track would be nice. As it is, they have programmable buttons that you can have do the same thing, but having additional specific ones would be more intuitive and helpful, IMO.Charging stand - Not really a "con", but it would be a nice feature to have a charging dock that you just set the headphones on and it charges automatically without having to plug them in. With that being said... all and all, these areAll in all, these are fantastic. Whether you are listening to music while doing housework, Listening to long conference calls over IP while needing to remain mobile, or playing shooter games needing pinpoint sound, these headphones can't be beat.

Bought one of these looking for a good wireless solution for gaming and Skype.Initially, I was very impressed. They sounded great. I raved to my friends.My friends on Skype mentioned how much better my old mic was, so I switched to the old mic, but that wasn't a big deal. My old microphone was a dedicated device, not wireless, of course it's going to sound better.I loved my G930 so much I bought a second one for work. I'm a video game designer, and am playing games and talking to teammates every day, both at home and at work.Then after only a few weeks, less than two months, my USB wireless connector started cutting out. About every 10 minutes. This happened to both headsets, on two different machines, running different VOIP software.Then the friends I talked into getting this headset started complaining about the same thing.At the same time, the Logitech Device Manager software stopped working reliably. It would often show no device connected, it would randomly reset my settings, so volumes would change randomly. It would be slow--several seconds--to respond to changes in the volume control.They are now unusable for more than about 10 minutes at a time. I have since doled out more money for an Astrogaming A50.I updated everything, uninstalled/reinstalled. As far as I can tell, it's just not perfected technology. Cannot recommend.

Pros:Great soundCool featuresVery comfortableGood micWirelessGood battery lifeCons:The connectivity sucks- randomly disconnects while sitting right next to the receiver.Cannot connect via USBBad range, will disconnect across the roomDespite being very comfortable and sounding really good, I wouldn't buy this again if I had the choice because of the connectivity issues- you can't experience any of the pros if it won't stay connected. Its been an issue since I got it and never gotten better. This is a very common problem with the headset judging by how many hits come back with the same issue with an internet search. AFAIK there's no fix and Logitech hasn't addressed the problem. People say that it might have to do with other wireless devices near the receiver but I live in a dorm and cannot control that variable. Really disappointed in Logitech as I've been a fan for a long time and trusted the brand to deliver a good reliable product.

+ Very comfortable. The only thing that rests on your head is the top, which is well padded. Therefore, you dont have any soreness around the ears, or anything, like you would with cheaper headsets.+ Quality of sound is good. Still trying to figure out why, however, they do not sound as good as my previous headphones, BUT I honestly think this is just because these are new, and I am not used to them, I would not knock the quality of sound at all.+ It's wireless... like.... you can keep talking while you go grab a drink. It's the gaming hermit's wet dream! ;)Con - PRICE. It's really expensive, and while I understand that a wireless, surround sound, gaming headset is something special, $120 is EXTREMELY steep for the actual product. I would rest the best price around 70 - 90. If you can find it for that, then you will have a great trade between money, and product. Otherwise, for $120, it's just a really good, headset to buy when you are looking to waste some money on your dangerously anti-social gaming habits, like me. :)

Had this headset for 9 months, bought new from Amazon.com. When it works, it works great. Problem is, it doesn't work all the time. The surround sound is awesome, but if I turn it off, one side is much louder than the other. Not sure why, but now I just keep it on all the time. I've checked all my settings and can't figure out why the sound would be uneven. They're comfy, I can wear them all day, but the cutting out is a deal breaker. It will randomly stop working. Just dies for a couple seconds. I hear a beep, and that's it, no sound coming in or out. It only last a few seconds, but it's pretty annoying. Especially when you're trying to Skype or... pretty much doing anything that requires sound. Not sure what triggers it, but plugging it in to power/charge doesn't help, and there's still no update that has fixed this yet. Obviously I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who doesn't like expensive headset shaped paperweights.

I cant even describe them. My first pair unfortunately developed a crack in the hinge, so I RMA'd them and I have to say.... Logitech's customer service is AMAZING. They paid for my shipping label, I sent in my old headphones and just got the replacement pair today. I don't know if they just used new parts or something, but oh my GOD I don't remember them sounding this good, the bass is crisper than anything I've ever heard, the surround sound just blew my mind and I think these headphones have spoiled me a little. I can't put on another pair of headphones and even come close to how happy I am with these. And the best part? They're wireless. This is also the first review I've ever written, but just the fact that logitechs service was so damn good, and these headphones are awesome was enough for me to want to spread the word. I think everything I'm going to buy for my computer is going to be logitech from now on. annnnnnd now I'm gonna go back and watch tron again.

This is a great headset but the mic could be much better. With that being said let's break this review down into PROs and CONs.PROS:-AMAZING sound quality! The 7.1 surround sound makes you feel like you're in the game!-SUPER comfortable! I have left these bad boys on for hours and my head and ears feel fine!-EASY to setup and start using! Some advice for this though, install the drivers (on the CD) before you start charging them for the 1st time-GREAT build quality! They are made out of plastic but I feel that they will hold up to whatever I throw at them...or throw them at. :)-LONG battery life! I get at least 9 hours out of these headphones, which is usually at least two days.CONS:-MIC quality. The mic quality sucks. But this headset isn't made for the mic, it's a gaming HEADSET. If you want a good mic, go get a Blue Yeti or Snowball.-CHARGING time is long, but just plug them in over night OR just plug them in and keep using them! (easy fix)OVERALL:A great gaming headset that you can use all day and not have to worry about your head or ears hurting. That being said, if you're looking to get a good mic out this, you won't. The mic is the only reason I'm giving this headset 4 stars out of 5. If you want a good, low price mic, get a Blue Snowball. They're around $65. I've owned this headset for over a year now, and it's still going strong. Still not wearing out or showing signs its about to break or otherwise fail or malfunction. I use this headset almost strictly for playing PC games and using programs like Ventrilo, Teamspeak, and Mumble, although I have done some Netflix viewing and it excels in providing quality audio in all of these. Now, time for the lists:Pros:- Excellent audio quality, with software equalizer to tune to your tastes. (Note: Have not tested on music, I do -NOT- consider myself an "audiophile" or audio expert.)- Build construction overall feels solid- Comfortable even after long sessions (As a glasses-wearer, over the ear headsets often smash the ear pieces against my head making wearing them very uncomfortable, but not these!)- Large adjusting size. I have a very large head, these still fit great.- Durability. As previously mentioned, still going strong after a year.- Volume adjustment and buttons on ear cup are very convenient.- No batteries to change, and the USB charger has a built in USB port so you can plug the dongle into it while charging.Cons:- Mic boom feels a little flimsy.- Wife gets mad when I can't hear her talking to me, because these block outside noises so well.- I forget I'm searing them sometimes, and people look at me funny.- Extra long USB charging cord get stuck under my chair wheel.Final words: This is a purchase I have not regretted, and you won't either. I was somewhat concerned with going to a USB wifi solution over a traditional sound card and wired headset, but I am extremely satisfied with the result.

I was originally concerned with this headset because I have a relatively large head. I am always having issues finding hats that fit me, and rarely do I find a headset that fits. These ones fit me really comfortably, and can even go above my head size. They fit over my glasses, and seem light enough so that they really don't hurt after being on my head for any extended amount of time.My problem with this headset, is that they really don't seem very loud. I have my PC volume on full, my games are on full volume, and my headset volume is on full volume, and with everything on max, they are at a comfortable volume. Some games though, are so quiet, that ambient noise around me bleed in, and drown out what I am listening to. One game, the bass of the sounds, is extremely distorted.I am also spending way WAY too much time trying to tweak the settings to get them so that I can use them, and when I get lucky and get the settings right, the low volume level just nixes any excitement I originally had for them.I had a problem with the software it came with it, and had to uninstall it and download the updated program from Logitech itself.Also, the directions never did say the transmitter had to be plugged into the charger base itself, through trial and error, I figured it out myself.I will probably return these. I am very unhappy with them, shame too, I read it was getting good reviews.

Are these audiophile quality? No but then again, they don't cost $1000.00. They are excellent for what they are... a very reasonably priced, comfortable, wireless headset with really good sound. I do not use them for gaming but use them for video chat. In fact, I use them literally every night for at least an hour and have not had a single complaint on either side! I love them the only thing that would make them more ideal would be if they were bluetooth connected as opposed to a wireless dongle as it is kinda large. But you take your tradeoffs. Larger dongle, larger antenna, better reception and therefore better quality of sound and end user happiness with the product. All in all 5 stars for value, design and this end user's happiness with the product.

Like many others, the audio on this headset cuts out a lot. It is usually lasts for about 3 seconds and the reconnects. This happens about once every 5 - 10 minutes. It is frustrating to use. I will annoyingly drop off voice chat for a bit. I will also stop heading a song I am mostly through. It is terrible. If this were not an issue, these would be a great headset. As is, I cannot recommend this buggy headset.I have tried updating my logitech software and windows itself. Also tried various locations connected to my computer to try and find a better spot for the dongle (didn't work). Tried to have the headset powered off a different USB plug. I thought that getting a more expensive headset would be better than getting a cheap one, but I guess they are all the same in the end.

for the price is got it for (around $70, it was on sale) this headset was a steal. The sound quality is great, i love the software to change your voice or customize what the buttons on the headset do, and IT'S WIRELESS! The only gripe i have with it is that the mic is SUPER sensitive. When talking to people on Skype i am commonly told that i am heavily breathing on the mic or that people can clearly hear my fan, or chair squeaking. There is a way to change the sensitivity on the mic with the software given to you but it doesn't seem to work. I tried putting the sensitivity lower and every time i would talk it would automatically boost it to be very sensitive again.Overall, this is a great product and was totally worth the discounted price i got it for, and the only reason it got 4 stars was because the mic is a little too sensitive

I originally bought these so I could have freedom of motion when using voice recognition software. It is only marginally adequate for that purpose. The voice quality of this microphone is below subpar because it generates copious amounts of hiss, interference, clicking and warbling (like the sound of a hard drive spinning). You absolutely cannot use this device to record something like a podcast or PowerPoint narration, unless you intend to look unprofessional and embarrass yourself. And it's a shame because the clarity would otherwise be pretty good (although it seems the record volume only gets but so high no matter how high you set it).The software that comes with it seems impressive when you read what it does. It's not so impressive when you actually use it.The headphones, however, give excellent sound. If you're mostly using these to listen to things, you probably won't be disappointed.

I really wanted a wireless gaming headset, and I was looking around for one that fit my price range. This headset stood out to me as a cheap option (it was $99.99 on Amazon at the time), so I took a plunge. It was pretty great for the first week I had it - I could walk around the house without dealing with wires, and still listen to music and converse with friends on voice chat. The sound quality was pretty good, and most of all: it did not hurt to put them on with glasses! These headphones were loose enough to feel comfortable and stay on my head.However, just a little under a week after my purchase, my left earmuff clearly started feeling looser. A day later, a screw on the left side came loose and I could see a dangling wire. Shortly after, I noticed that no sound was coming from my left ear.I contacted Amazon about the issue, and I assume this was just bad luck on my part. They issued a quick replacement, but it seems that under normal usage (I was gentle with this set!), they still managed to break in about a week. I'll revise my review if my next pair manage to hang on for longer.

This is the best pair of headphones I have owned. I have used Plantronics, Bose, Klipsch and a handful of other brands and this headset is the single best combination of all qualities I looked for. For a little over $100 I got crisp clear voice recording, a very comfortable and easily adjusted fit and excellent sound quality. I don't use the buttons on the side much, but they are handy when I do need them, and when I choose to leave the headset plugged into it's USB cord there is plenty of length for me to function. I did struggle a little with the fit of the USB plug (it was very tight) but I consider that to be an advantage when I am using the headset in a manner like a corded version as the connection is unlikely to fail. I have put this headset through some abuse and dropped it a few times and it has not failed at all.For the TLDR folks: Comfortable, easily adjusted, easily set up. High quality microphone for voice, and high quality sound. Functions flawlessly in a wireless configuration and there is plenty of cord and a firm plug to allow it to operate as a wired headset.

The headset has the best form of wireless-ness without a bulky adapter or power outlet thing. All you need is the USB clip and the headset and the USB Wire to charge it. The connection is amazing since it can work through walls around my house from a 30 foot radius until it'll start losing signal because of the walls. The headset wraps around the ear and is very cushiony, but since the edges aren't made of permeable foam (like the turtlebeach z11's) my ears tend to heat up every now and then. The headset worked on my PC right from the start (windows was doing the "installing this device"..."this device is ready to use") and it even works on my galaxy s3 with a usb connector (except that the buttons don't work). It's a great headset and the side buttons are truly useful for scrolling through music and pausing/playing as you do stuff around your room. They also have a bit of noise cancellation for vacuuming which is even better :3

I was looking for a good headset so I could play MMOs on line. The sound quality is very good, and you can adjust it using an equalizer that comes with the Gaming Software you can download from Logitech. Also the customizable keys in the headset are very helpfull. The range is great and the battery can last up to 7 ours. And if you ran out of battery just hook it up the USB stand that comes with it to recharge while you continue using it.If you are looking for a high quality sound to pump that bass out of your DJ Tiesto song... maybe this is not the right product for you. In my case I like the bass the way it sounds :D. I highly recommend this product for games and music enthusiasts.

This is an Excellent wireless headset with a good battery life (approximately 7 hours on a single charge of full 7.1 audio).They sound great and the range is awesome, I had them on 15 meters away going through 2 concrete walls and they worked fine.They do suffer from a little crackling occasionally, and I'm not sure of the cause, as it doesn't seem to coincide with low battery or any specific interference, but it is minimal and easily ignored.Sound quality is excellent on 7.1 or stereo, and the voice digitizer is hilarious.You may have some problems with software if you have other logitech devices installed. If so you will need to download the latest logitech controller software and not bother with the driver disc provided, as it will just overwrite any existing logitech controller software.Overall really good headset, and well worth the money paid.

[+]when there is a sudden burst of sound - head shot or the big bang - you do not need to be surprised and upset / panicked. because the headset is capable of reducing noise with a very soft bass.some reviews say less comfortable when using it. but after a week of use, I think otherwise. very comfortable.on board memorytalk about the sound, it sounds really good. I can hear the opponent from different directions.very gaming design, very elegant by using good materials.[-]charger cable less effective. perhaps using a common port used will be more effective.because I'm in asia, not easy to get a new battery. Comfort: I sometimes game for up to 8 hours in a sitting and these remain comfortable, even over my glasses. The padding has started tearing where they sit over my frames, but not unreasonable given the usage.Sound quality: Plays 7.1 sound channels. Does NOT effectively replicate surround sound. I have found no discernable difference between playing audio at 7.1 or as basic stereo. Otherwise, sound quality is great. Just don't expect actual surround sound.Battery life: Battery lasts most sessions, however the indicator is WAY off. It will start beeping at me notifying me that "battery life has one hour remaining", however it continues to last 3 or more hours. Inconvenient that it's trained me to ignore the notifications and so it shuts down at inopportune times.Connectivity: The range on the headphones is excellent. My base is located on the 2nd storey and I am free to roam all throughout the house, including the basement. I have never taken them outside to test its true range, but certainly more than adequate. EXCEPT sporadically it has connectivity issues even when I'm sitting 2 feet away from the base. Very disruptive when it's cutting in and out, or disrupting all communication because it's generating noise on my playback and mic line.Durability: The ear cup rotation joint is stated to be made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. Apparently aircrafts can not withstand the pressure of my head for less than 1000 hours, because the rotation joint is exactly what's broken on my headset.Bonuses: 3 programmable buttons are semi-useful. Works effectively with keybinds, but if you want to use it to control your music, you are limited to programs that have had a specific addon written for it.

As far as 7.1 Stereo Quality Goes it is alright but it is synthetic. There is only one speaker in each earpiece. So if you are looking for that amazing Quality Sound and Bass try some Turtle Beach.Now that the negative is out of the way I have nothing else but good things to say about this product. First of all the Price is very reasonable and the Hardware is very solid. I've had it for about a month now and no problems thus far. It holds a long charge about 9 hours continual gaming and you can recharge it while in use. The software that comes with it is old so you will need to download the new software off of the logitech website. The 3 G keys have been changed to where u can assign them any command instead of the previous version where you could only pick from a set of commands. Overall this is a good buy if you are looking for a Rechargeable Wireless Headset that can hold a good charge.

I was very hesitant to buy a wireless headset. I viewed the cheapest to the most expensive. I finally decided on this one and i don't regret it one bit.I can go to the opposite end of my house past multiple walls and on another floor(and providing i stand still) i can still hear clearly.I play game for hours on end on my days off and i have never ran low on battery. Closet i think i have come in the past 2 months was 1 1/2 hours of battery left. The sound is great. Better than any previous headset i have owned.only con: When i first started using them online videos would only play sound out of one ear. This was fixed however with updating the device driver.

When I started using these things, they were by far the greatest headset i've ever had. The fit, sound, and usefulness with wireless is wonderful. But now I digress, after a month or two of use they started to "act up." I get random buzzing, shrieking noises, they shut off and on when they want, sometimes they can't even be turned on or off, the buttons randomly stop working, and all when fully charged or even still plugged in. I know of at least one other person that gets the same problems with his, so i'm not sure if I just got unlucky as well or there's some faulty ones on the market. As a person that keeps boxes and receipts for this instance, this is the one product I didn't keep them for, so i'm not sure I'd even be able to return them. So for now i'll deal with problems until it's unusable and try to get my money's worth out of them. This product is definitely good aside from the recent flaws i've had. If you plan to try these, at least keep everything for a return just in case. Also hear the G35s are almost the same thing if not better but i'm not sure if they have the same issues.

I am blown away with the performance of this headset. Outstanding sound quality (I am a sound engineer, and without spending crazy money on reference 'phones, this is really quite good sound). The surround sound works wonderfully, Super easy to set up, especially if you already use other Logitech gaming products. My gaming partners say that the mic is excellent, and the noise reduction works quite well. The programming features and voice alterations are outstanding, flexible, and quite useful. The battery last plenty long between charges. The spool for the cables is a great feature for convenience. When I want the headset, I just plug the fob into the USB port on the spool base, and when I want the home theater system, I just yank the USB fob. Easy.The only thing I dislike is how bulky they are to store. At least the ear covers pivot so they lay flat.

My initial thought was: "wow Logitech Gaming Wireless Headset!"But now, this product makes me mad more than anything.First problem (resolved after receiving a replacement):The headset failed to recharge, but I contacted the Logitech and was able to get a new one.Second problem (Major problem that's happening to almost everyone who own this product):Constant disconnection/re-connection. It's not even funny. It started out with once in an hour....then once in a min...now it's once every 10 seconds.I'm completely serious and not exaggerating.I searched Logitech customer service forum for this problem, and TONS of people were having same problem.Currently none of Logitech's solution is helping. I think I'll buy a wired headphone later on.But...sound quality is pretty good, it's comfortable and light.Only if the disconnecting problem was gone, this product would've been fantastic and worth money.If you are planning to buy this product right now... Don't....I'm telling you....Please don't. I made a mistake to not reading reviews and this is what I get.

The sound is excellent and you can really crank it up if you want. The Dolby surround is fantastic while gaming or watching movies. Excellent if you want to do things late at night without disturbing others. The microphone is very sensitive and the position and angle is completely adjustable. I'm very pleased with these. The only minor problems is 1) the Win7-64 pops up multiple messages to plug and unplug every time you boot up and 2) Sometimes applications don't choose the right output device and will play out of the primary sound device. You might have to manually disable the primary sound in your control panel. I'm not sure if this is an issue with Win7 or Logitech drivers. Battery life has been excellent. I've never had it run out and the wireless range works everywhere in my house which is three levels with basement. Contrary to what others have stated, the battery is easily replaceable (instructions for removal come in the documentation) and it's inexpensive.

They start out a little snug, but over time they will loosen up and not squeeze your head so much. After a week or so they fit great and sounded good too.The problem is that the headset would cut out around 10 times in an hour. It was like the headset basically rebooted. All sound would stop for about 5 seconds before coming back. I searched Google and found out that it was a frequent and common problem. Some people said it was caused by interference from wireless routers but I shut everything off in my house that used wireless and the problem never went away. I spent countless hours reading about the problem but could never find a fix that worked so I eventually gave up and returned the headset.

I've got to make this review brief, but this headset is exactly what I expected and want out of a headset! The sound quality is amazing, the bass is certainly powerful(though sometimes get distorted depending on the quantity of bass). The surround sound works great and I've had no problems so far. Sometimes the volume button stops working for a few seconds, but turning it off and on again fixes it. A minor inconvenience.No sound distortion and I've been using these things fairly loudly. You could even use it as a set of mini speakers if you really wanted to!I would recommend these to anyone who's looking for a good headset for PC gaming or who need a good PC headset and microphone combo. About the microphone: Works exactly as they say it does. Distorting voices with the headset entertains my 3 year old niece a lot!

I picked this because I wanted a 7.1 surround sound headphones, and the price was a steal.Pros:-comfortable, can be worn for hours and hours with no pain.-nice sound.-nice microphone, works great on skype and other software that i've tried.-not heavy.Cons:-There is no channel options for wireless, meaning your router can interfere, making it unusable. This is the main issue with these headsets. Make sure you do your research before buying to know if you will have this problem.-Sometimes there is a weird fuzzy noise. I can say this because I used two of these, and they both do the same thing. really annoying.Over all I would never buy them again, just going to use them till they break, and buy a better brand.

This headset works great for when it did work. Sound was excellent, the built in base in the headset was excellent and the mic is very sensitive (which i like) and easily customizable. The only down side is that my headset would cut in and out randomly every 5-10 mins. Sometimes sooner, sometimes longer. I tried different ports, not using the extension hub that comes with it and even tried the newest and oldest drivers they had available.Their support was very helpful and agreed to swap with me. It may not be the speediest in support but they are willing to make sure you have a good product from them. If it wasn't for the need for me to send it back I would have given it 5 starts. Besides the bad QA overall well worth the money for this headset.

This is the greatest headset I've ever owned. The sound is beautiful, the software integrates with other logitech products beautifully, and so far it's played nicely with every program I've tried it in. As to the other complaints:1. This has a 10 band EQ. It's in the software, it works nicely.2. The G keys are now fully programmable, and have been since I've gotten this headset. I don't know when this feature was added, or if it was this way from the start.3. This will work with anything you can set a shortcut for. You may need to still set a keybind though.4. Nothing about this is flimsy. It's audio equipment - like anything else, if you hit it hard enough, I'm sure it'll break. As far as headsets go, this is one of the strongest I've owned.

well, i had high expectations of this headset.. i prefered it over the corsair vengeance 2000, installation was easy, (used the latest software from the internet since the CD that comes with it is outdated), here are my notes1)the battery life sucks.. i can barely get 5 hours of playing on it !!2) the software is inaccurate, after it says fully charged it says 2 hours left in battery and they last for around 4 hours.. the battery indicator keep on changing !! in conclusion it's really inaccurate !3) there's no EQ, still can't make them sound half as good as my older corsair vengeance 1500 !, the later have much better sound quality in audio and gaming ! and are far more comfortable !4)It keeps on disconnecting ! every 5 minutes !

these headphones are bad news. avoid them.first, the default software had to be replaced (the volume button didn't work correctly, the hotkeys were hijacking the controls, and the headset likes to turn itself off at random moments for no reason, like it just idles out)...so with the new software, volume button works. but now exists new problems. sometimes the headset will just start buzzing horrible loud noise that will not cease. i've had to unplug them from the pc and let them sit a while before trying to plug them back in. the buzzing even continued after unplugging them from the pc... so i unplugged them from the battery charger too. this is a ridiculous problem to have, and it happens frequently.also, the power button doesn't work too great. i've tried tapping it, holding it down for several seconds, holding it down until i see a power button... its just doesn't turn on when you click the power button. usually takes 20 seconds for the light to finally pop on.and in the case of the buzzing sound, the power button will just shut itself off if you try to turn it on after its been buzzing and you shut it down (hence why i have to just leave it alone for a while and try again later).not sure i want a replacement. i'd rather choose another headset, possibly one that doesn't use USB.

I have had this type of headset 2 times the past 4 years. Each time the headset has only lasted a couple of years. The sound quality is great on them, but for small heads, it does not fit very well. The construction on these headsets are total crap. The first time, the headset fell off my head as I was walking in my house to do laundry, and the top headpiece shattered. I had to duct tape it, and then I could not adjust it to fit my head. So I bought another pair and after a year, the plug in the left ear that charges the headset would not function or charge the set. I am thoroughly disappointed with this product as it is highly rated, and I loved the fact you could still use the product while it was still charging, you just couldn't go wireless with it while it charged. I loved the fact that it was affordable, but I guess you truly get what you pay for!!

After some research and taking into consideration reviews read and the price offered from Amazon I decided to purchase these headphones. I have been very impressed.Sound is very clear and frequency response if good with almost no noise.The surround sound is also very good with sounds appearing to emanate from all directions. I play a number of games and these are very useful in FPS.The microphone is receptive and clear with no additional external noise. So I have been told by others to whom I chat.All round one of the best value for money products I have found.On top of this I ordered the week before Christmas and expected to receive the goods after Christmas and possibly New Year. They arrived on the 23rd of December to my great surprise.

Is it comfortable? yes. Will you have any issues using it strictly as a pair of headphones for music, games or movies? No. Do the batteries last 8 hours as claimed? No. They last 3-4. Pretty much everyone states this in the reviews. Will you have endless trouble with voice chat? OMFG YES!!! One day it works fine, the next day you can't get it working at all. Some days it sees the headset and other days it doesn't. Some days the software works and some days it doesn't. The volume control on the headset only works about half the time - if you are lucky. They'd already had one major software patch for this when I bought it and I waited nearly a year and read lots of glowing reviews. Apparently however, some people can't get this to work right no matter what. You will either love it, or hate it. I use a custom built power pc not a piece of wally world or dell junk. *shrugs*

I have had wired headphones for a long time and dealt with many problems such as feedback and outside noise filtering through my mic so I decided to give these a try. Great set of headphones. Super comfortable and easy to use. The quick programmable keys on the side are easy to program and make things happen very quickly. The mic picks up my voice very clearly and cancels a lot of the outside ambient noise. They also come with voice morphing software which makes your voice sound like 5 different creatures which provides plenty of entertainment during gameplay. The wireless distance is great I can usually hit 60' between walls and floors and can still talk and listen to what is going on in the game. The battery life is great and its very easy to charge between uses. It also allows for gameplay wired in case you have one of those long nights of gameplay and just run the batteries down. Great product and a fair price.

To begin, these are five stars because nothing is perfect. I am not an audiophile, so I may be wrong, but I think these sound great.Pros-7.1 surround sound.- Over ear design blocks out a great deal of sound. These are not noise cancelling or isolating.- Wireless can reach all the way out to my car (30+ ft)- There is a volume scroll wheel and macro buttons on the headset.- The Logitech software is highly functional with some fun voice options.- My friends say I sound great.- Adjustable head band. I feel comfortable wearing them for hours.Con- I had an issue where they disconnected frequently. Seems to have been better since I plugged the adapter directly into the computer instead of the base.- Bass could be better.- Sometimes ear cup get messed up by my glasses.Overall I would highly recommend.

The drivers for this have caused me so many BSODs and Photoshop crashes on Windows 7 64bit that it isn't even funny. Was Logitech even trying? Also it constantly loses signal. The box says "PCs may cause interference". Well if that's the case what business does it have being made for PC? Sometimes pressing the power button on the headset and waiting forever won't be enough; you'll have to unplug and replug in the wireless adapter or possibly even restart your PC! Clearly something that belongs in the Windows XP days and I can't recommend anyone buy this.Stay clear of this one and buy a headset from a different manufacturer.

For those wanting to use this for business (not gaming) purposes.... that sucks.Overall a 4.5 score.So.... why the 3 star review?I liked this headset so much that I purchased it again after my first pair broke. Right above the left ear the plastic stress-fractured. I owned the first pair for about 7 months. Wow.... imagine my surprise when the second one broke today. **Same place**. Had this one quite a bit longer (10 months).Overall.... Logitech has a good product line, just be ready to pay out for a new set in a year.*******NOTE: UPDATED REVIEW, Please see comment below.Earning a 4 star as their is still faulty construction with 4 screws being used on the plastic couplings. Basic Mechanical Engineering would indicate that this significantly increases the chance for stress fractures, which is exactly what has happened. (No, I'm not an engineer - used to work at an engineering company and managed projects.... so no expert, but I understand the basics.I'd give 4.5 if that was an option.

I've broken a lot of headsets in my day, simply because the headband is made of plastic. This one has metal in it, so the build quality is higher than the average headset, which is great, but the sound quality is also really awesome. I'm also a big fan of Logitech universal software that integrates my keyboard and headset in to one suite instead of needing multiple programs. unfortunately the drivers included are outdated and wont work, you have to get this suite from Logitech's website, so initial set up was a bit annoying.

I never thought I would appreciate a wireless headset as much as I do now. The fact that you don't have to worry about buying and replacing the batteries all the time and you can just charge it through USB is very convenient. I can easily get 10 straight hours of use out of a full charge. They are noise canceling as well which is an added bonus, although a lot of times I can't hear my wife calling for me...They are quite durable and the mic boom isn't flimsy.The only thing I have to complain about is when I wear my glasses. After a few hours of use the sides of my head right by my ear where my glasses sit tends to get sore. Not terrible pain by any stretch of the imagination, but you definitely need to take them off every so often for comfort.

I got this as a gift for Christmas and have only had little trouble with it.Small things such as if I unplugged the USB sound would stop thorugh the computers internal mic. Well after months of use and figuring things out I came home today and unplugged the usb to play a song for someone. The chip that has the USB head that goes into the casing where all the chip work is CAME OUT of the case. It took me 3 hours and a bunch of painters tape in order to get the piece working again. Not only do i have to tape the casing shut but i have to tape it up in a certain position in order to make it work

Have used many different kinds of headsets this one takes the cake!If your looking for wireless freedom, and your looking for great sounding headsets? THESE are the ones! The bass driver on these are amazing, the highs are just on point not too pitchy and the mids are rich. I have always had issues with headsets not having enough bass and these will not disappoint you! The pleather ear cups are amazing good sound elimination. You truly will not be disappointed!

I would have given it two stars but I felt that wouldn't be fair because the sound is excellent. The bass they produce is awesome and the 7.1 is great but being wireless they have a few issues with interference. Mine had a crackling that I could not get rid of. They worked great on my laptop but on my main rig (where I do all my gaming), the crackle was unbearable. I got hardly any support from Logitech so I returned them and got the Megalodon headphones from Razer and I'm much happier.

Other than some occasional random reconnects where the headset decides my settings are wrong and need to be reset the headset is perfect.It clamps to my head so tight that it cancels out sound in the surrounding area PERFECTLY. Cannot even hear myself talk correctly, it's like I have my fingers in my ears. This tiny drawback is counteracted by a setting in the software controls called "sidetone" where the mic feeds back your voice in real-time so you can hear yourself talk.Really other than the weird reconnects that can happen several times in an hour or sometimes not for days the headset is wonderful, I love it.Battery life of about 8 hours too.

To begin with, the battery life so far is great, even when you've been using them for 5+ hrs. and it starts to get low you get an audible warning (Useful when you're walking around the house on a VoIP call - good signal through my 2 bed 2 bath apartment) even then they still work just the same WHILE plugged into the charging port (Feels like a normal corded USB headset then) while the base brings the start of the cord to the desktop (or where-ever you like) I haven't had any software conflicts as of yet including in-app VoIP and 3rd party VoIP. As for the quality the sound is definitely immersive with the over-the-ear cups and picks up the subtle details (I have heard tone's in songs I've listened to for years I haven't heard before) As for VoIP quality works better than any phone I've had (Granted I have a high-speed connection so I don't have latency issues, which effect VoIP quality but the hardware definitely isn't getting in the way) Overall pleased with the purchase; Quality, Comfortable, Practical and Efficient.

My pair started falling apart after about 8 months of daily use - first the plastic casing around the microphone cracked until it just dangled by a couple wires off the side of the headset, which I was able to tape up. More recently, the vinyl on the earpieces is peeling off and getting all over my clothes whenever I wear them.Won't be buying another set, sadly - they were awesome for those first 8 months, but at this price, they should last longer than that.
